The differential cross section for the 6Li(π+, pp)4He reaction for symmetrical coplanar kinematics has been calculated at the incident pion energy Eπ = 70 MeV within the three-body problem + 2N taking into account the Pauli exclusion principle in each N subsystem. Three-body distortions in the final state have been taken into account in the eikonal approximation. The treatment is based on the superposition of the single-particle and two-particle mechanisms of absorption leading to the rescattering of the π- and ρ-mesons through the Δ-isobar. The analytical character of the adopted wave function for the 6Li nucleus (the multidimensional gaussian basis) makes it possible to ascertain clearly that the reaction amplitude of the type under study is insensitive to short-range NN correlations both in the initial and final states. The calculated momentum distribution of recoil -particles is in good agreement with the experimental data available, but the experimental accuracy should be improved in order to see the contribution of a specific three-body part of the 6Li wave function orthogonal to the ad channel. Some problems to be solved in future are discussed.  相似文献

Results of the Jefferson Lab Hall A quasielastic 3He(e,e'p)pn measurements are presented. These measurements were performed at fixed transferred momentum and energy, q=1502 MeV/c and omega=840 MeV, respectively, for missing momenta p(m) up to 1 GeV/c and missing energies in the continuum region, up to pion threshold; this kinematic coverage is much more extensive than that of any previous experiment. The cross section data are presented along with the effective momentum density distribution and compared to theoretical models.  相似文献

The B‐band resonance Raman spectra of 2(1H)‐pyridinone (NHP) in water and acetonitrile were obtained, and their intensity patterns were found to be significantly different. To explore the underlying excited state tautomeric reaction mechanisms of NHP in water and acetonitrile, the vibrational analysis was carried out for NHP, 2(1D)‐pyridinone (NDP), NHP–(H2O)n (n = 1, 2) clusters, and NDP–(D2O)n (n = 1, 2) clusters on the basis of the FT‐Raman experiments, the B3LYP/6‐311++G(d,p) computations using PCM solvent model, and the normal mode analysis. Good agreements between experimental and theoretically predicted frequencies and intensities in different surrounding environments enabled reliable assignments of Raman bands in both the FT‐Raman and the resonance Raman spectra. The results indicated that most of the B‐band resonance Raman spectra in H2O was assignable to the fundamental, overtones, and combination bands of about ten vibration modes of ring‐type NHP–(H2O)2 cluster, while most of the B‐band resonance Raman spectra in CH3CN was assigned to the fundamental, overtones, and combination bands of about eight vibration modes of linear‐type NHP–CH3CN. The solvent effect of the excited state enol‐keto tautomeric reaction mechanisms was explored on the basis of the significant difference in the short‐time structural dynamics of NHP in H2O and CH3CN. The inter‐molecular and intra‐molecular ESPT reaction mechanisms were proposed respectively to explain the Franck–Condon region structural dynamics of NHP in H2O and CH3CN.Copyright © 2015 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

The photophysics of 3‐methyl‐3‐pentene‐2‐one (3M3P2O) after excitation to the S2(ππ*) electronic state were studied using the resonance Raman spectroscopy and complete active space self‐consistent field (CASSCF) method calculations. The A‐band resonance Raman spectra were obtained in cyclohexane, acetonitrile, and methanol with excitation wavelengths in resonance with the first intense absorption band to probe the structural dynamics of 3M3P2O. The B3LYP‐TD/6‐31++G(d, p) computation was carried out to determine the relative A‐band resonance Raman intensities of the fundamental modes, and the result was used to reproduce the corresponding fundamental band intensities of the 223.1 nm resonance Raman spectrum and thus to examine whether the vibronic‐coupling existed in Franck‐Condon region or not. CASSCF calculations were carried out to determine the minimal singlet excitation energies of S1, FC, S1,min (nπ*), S2, FC, S2,min (ππ*), the transition energies of the conical intersection points Sn/Sπ, Sn/S0, and the optimized excited state geometries as well as the geometry structures of the conical intersection points. The A‐band short‐time structural dynamics and the corresponding decay dynamics of 3M3P2O were obtained by the analysis of the resonance Raman intensity pattern and CASSCF computations. It was revealed that the initial structural dynamics of 3M3P2O was towards the simultaneous C3=C4 and C2=O7 bond elongation, with the C3=C4 bond length lengthening greater at the very beginning, whereas the C2=O7 bond length changing greater at the later evolution time before reaching the CI(S2/S1) conical intersection point. The decay dynamics from S2(ππ*) to S1(nπ*) via S2(ππ*)/S1(nπ*) in singlet realm and from S1(nπ*) to T1(nπ*) via ISC[S1(nπ*)/T2(ππ*)/T1(nπ*)] in triplet realm are proposed. Differential cross sections for the charge-exchange reaction of π on protons in the region of the Δ(1232) resonance (128 MeV Tπ 246 MeV) are reported. Measurements were performed by detecting the neutron with a time-of-flight technique. The neutron counter efficiency was measured over the entire energy range. Particular care was devoted to eliminating possible sources of systematic error. Statistical errors are of the order of 4%, total errors of the order of 7%. The experimental results are in fair agreement with the most recent phase-shift analysis. Our data satisfy the triangle inequality. An analysis based on recent phase-shift values does not favour violation of charge independence.  相似文献

All relevant low-energy transition amplitudes for the D(d,n)3He and D(d,p)3H reactions were determined from a fit to Legendre expansion coefficients of the available experimental data. A simple barrier penetrability model was used. Quintet S-wave transitions are found to contribute strongly thus obliterating the idea of neutron-lean “polarized” fusion energy production. The D+D interaction radius was determined with good accuracy for both reactions individually. The astrophysical S functions show a small S-wave enhancement and P-wave suppression of the D(d,p)3H branch.  相似文献

The nature and strength of metal–ligand bonds in organotransition‐metal complexes are crucial to the understanding of organometallic reactions and catalysis. Quantum chemical calculations at different levels of theory have been used to investigate heterolytic Fe–N bond energies of para‐substituted anilinyldicarbonyl(η5‐cyclopentadienyl)iron [p‐G‐C6H4NH(η5‐C5H5)Fe(CO)2, abbreviated as p‐G‐C6H4NHFp (1), where G = NO2, CN, COMe, CO2Me, CF3, Br, Cl, F, H, Me, MeO, and NMe2] and para‐substituted α‐acetylanilinyldicarbonyl(η5‐cyclopentadienyl)iron [p‐G‐C6H4N(COMe)(η5‐C5H5)Fe(CO)2, abbreviated as p‐G‐C6H4N(COMe)Fp (2)] complexes. The results show that BP86 and TPSSTPSS can provide the best price/performance ratio and more accurate predictions in the study of ΔHhet(Fe–N)'s. The linear correlations [r = 0.98 (g, 1a), 0.93 (g, 2b)] between the substituent effects of heterolytic Fe–N bond energies [ΔΔHhet(Fe–N)'s] of series 1 and 2 and the differences of acidic dissociation constants (ΔpKa) of N–H bonds of p‐G‐C6H4NH2 and p‐G‐C6H4NH(COMe) imply that the governing structural factors for these bond scissions are similar. And the linear correlations [r = ?0.99 (g, 1c), ?0.92 (g, 2d)] between ΔΔHhet(Fe–N)'s and the substituent σp? constants show that these correlations are in accordance with Hammett linear free energy relationships. The polar effects of these substituents and the basis set effects influence the accuracy of ΔHhet(Fe–N)'s. ΔΔHhet(Fe–N)'s(1, 2) follow the captodative principle. MEα‐COMe, para‐Gs include the influences of the whole molecules. The correlation of MEα‐COMe, para‐Gs with σp? is excellent. MEα‐COMe, para‐Gs rather than ΔΔHhet(Fe–N)'s in series 2 are more suitable indexes for the overall substituent effects on ΔHhet(Fe–N)'s(2). The co-adsorption of oxygen and deuterium at 100 K on a Pd(110) surface has been studied by measurements of the change in work function (Δφ) and by thermal desorption spectroscopy (TDS). When the surface with co-adsorbed species is heated, the adsorbates O and D react to form D2O which desorbs from the surface at T > 200 K. The D2O desorption peaks shift continuously to lower temperatures as the surface D coverage (θD) increases. The maximum production of D2O is estimated to be 0.26 ML (1 ML = 9.5 × 1014 atoms cm−2), resulting from reaction in a layer containing 0.65 ML D and 0.3 ML O. The maximum work function increase caused by adsorption of D to saturation onto oxygen precovered Pd(110) decreases almost linearly with ΔφO of the oxygen precovered surface. On a surface with pre-adsorbed D however, the maximum Δφ increase contributed by oxygen adsorption decreases abruptly at ΔφD > 200 mV. This sharp change occurs at θD > 1 ML and is believed to be associated with the development of the reconstructed (1 × 2) phase of D/Pd(110).  相似文献

The nature and strength of metal–ligand bonds in organotransition–metal complexes is crucial to the understanding of organometallic reactions and catalysis. The Fe‐N homolytic bond dissociation energies [ΔHhomo(Fe‐N)′s] of two series of para‐substituted Fp anilines p‐G‐C6H4NHFp [1] and p‐G‐C6H4N(COMe)Fp [2] were studied using the Hartree–Fock (HF) and the density functional theory methods with large basis sets. In this study, Fp is (η5‐C5H5)Fe(CO)2 and G are NO2, CN, COMe, CO2Me, CF3, Br, Cl, F, H, Me, MeO and NMe2. The results show that BP86 and TPSSTPSS can provide the best price/performance ratio and accurate predictions of ΔHhomo(Fe‐N)′s. B3LYP can also satisfactorily predict the α and remote substituent effects on ΔHhomo(Fe‐N)′s [ΔΔHhomo(Fe‐N)′s]. The good correlations [r = 0.96 (g, 1), 0.99(g, 2)] of ΔΔHhomo(Fe‐N)′s in series 1 and 2 with the substituent σp+ constants imply that the para‐substituent effects on ΔHhomo(Fe‐N)′s originate mainly from polar effects, but those on radical stability originate from both spin delocalization and polar effects. ΔΔHhomo(Fe‐N)′s(1,2) conform to the captodative principle. Insight from this work may help the design of more effective catalytic processes. Copyright © 2012 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

One of the most fundamental properties in chemistry is the bond dissociation energy, the energy required to break a specific bond of a molecule. In this paper, the Fe–N homolytic bond dissociation energies [ΔHhomo(Fe–N)'s] of 2 series of (meta‐substituted anilinyl)dicarbonyl(η5‐cyclopentadienyl) iron [m‐G‐C6H4NHFp ( 1 )] and (meta‐substituted α‐acetylanilinyl)dicarbonyl(η5‐cyclopentadienyl) iron [m‐G‐C6H4N(COMe)Fp ( 2 )] were studied using density functional theory methods with large basis sets. In this study, Fp is (η5‐C5H5)Fe(CO)2, and G is NO2, CN, COMe, CO2Me, CF3, Br, Cl, F, H, Me, MeO, and NMe2. The results show that Tao‐Perdew‐Staroverov‐Scuseria, Minnesota 2006, and Becke's power‐series ansatz from 1997 with dispersion corrections functionals can provide the best price/performance ratio and accurate predictions of ΔHhomo(Fe–N)'s. The ΔΔHhomo(Fe–N)'s ( 1 and 2 ) conform to the captodative principle. The polar effects of the meta‐substituents show the dominant role to the magnitudes of ΔΔHhomo(Fe–N)'s. σα· and σc· values for meta‐substituents are all related to polar effects. Spin‐delocalization effects of the meta‐substituents in ΔΔHhomo(Fe–N)'s are small but not necessarily zero. RE plays an important role in determining the net substituent effects on ΔHhomo(Fe–N)'s. Insight from this work may help the design of more effective catalytic processes.  相似文献

The knowledge of accurate bond strengths is a fundamental basis for a proper analysis of chemical reaction mechanisms. Quantum chemical calculations at different levels of theory have been used to investigate heterolytic Fe–O and Fe–S bond energies of (meta‐substituted phenoxy)dicarbonyl(η5‐cyclopentadienyl) iron [m‐G‐C6H4OFp ( 1 )] and (meta‐substituted benzenethiolato)dicarbonyl(η5‐cyclopentadienyl) iron [m‐G‐C6H4SFp ( 2 )] complexes. The excellent linear free energy relations [r = 1.00 (g, 1e), 1.00 (g, 2b)] among the ΔΔHhet (Fe–O)'s and δΔG0 of O?H bonds of m‐G‐C6H4OH or ΔΔHhet(Fe–S)'s and ΔpKa's of S?H bonds of m‐G‐C6H4SH imply that the governing structural factors for these bond scissions are similar. And, the linear correlations [r = ?0.97 (g, 1 g), ?0.97 (g, 2 h)] among the ΔΔHhet (Fe–O)'s or ΔΔHhet(Fe–S)'s and the substituent σm constants show that these correlations are in accordance with Hammett linear free energy relationships. The inductive effects of these substituents and the basis set effects influence the accuracy of ΔHhet(Fe–O)'s or ΔHhet(Fe–S)'s. The ΔΔHhet(Fe–O)'s(g) (1) and ΔΔHhet(Fe–S)'s(g)(2) follow the capto‐dative Principle. The substituent effects on the Fe–O bonds are much stronger than those on the less polar Fe–S bonds. The photophysics and photochemistry of pyrazine (C4H4N2, D2h) after excitation to the S2 (1 1B2u, 1ππ*) electronic state were studied by using the resonance Raman spectroscopy and complete active space self‐consistent field method calculations. The B‐band resonance Raman spectra in cyclohexane solvent were obtained at 266.0, 252.7, and 245.9 nm excitation wavelengths to probe the structural dynamics of pyrazine in the S2 (1 1B2u, 1ππ*) state. Three electronic states 1 1B3u, 1 1B1g, and 1 1B2g were found to couple with the S2 (1 1B2u, 1ππ*) state. Two conical intersection (CI) points CI[S2(B2u)/S1(B3u)] and CI[S1/S0] and one transition state of the isomerization between pyrazine and pyrimidine were predicted to play important roles in the photochemistry of pyrazine. On the basis of the calculations, the mechanism of the photoisomerization reaction between pyrazine and pyrimidine has been proposed. Copyright © 2012 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

For deuteron energies below 7 MeV, the evaluation of the differential cross sections of the3H(d,n)4He reaction was improved by including three associated4He particle excitation functions between 4 and 11 MeV. Above 7 MeV, the scale agrees within error limits with that of a previous evaluation, and no energy-dependent systematic deviations between measured and predicted values are observed. However, deviations of up to 20% from the Liskien and Paulsen evaluation are observed.  相似文献

We have developed a flexible and thoroughly tested computer program for microscopic calculations of proton-induced pion production in nuclei at bombarding energies up to 500 MeV. The model used includes explicitly both the one-nucleon (pionic stripping) mechanism and the resonant p-wave rescattering part of the two-nucleon mechanism. Initial and final state interactions are included through proton-nucleus and pion-nucleus optical model distortions, with careful consideration of the multiple scattering series. The intermediate delta in the two-nucleon mechanism is treated as static with possible inclusion of a local density approximation for the delta-nucleus interaction. We explain the philosophy of the model, detail the parametrization of the microscopic dynamics, and give the formalism for the calculation of experimental observables. We also describe the testing of the computer program and present preliminary results for the 3He(p, π+)4He reaction.  相似文献

A previously formulated noneikonal theory for hadron-nucleus scattering valid for all angles is applied to p and π scattering on the lightest targets (kL ? 1 GeV/c). When the required input is known, calculated differential cross sections agree well with experiments out to medium angles, far beyond the region of previous analyses. In the case of pA scattering at kL = 1.2 GeV/c at which momentum some parameters in the elementary amplitudes FxN are badly known, limits on their values have been obtained by demanding simultaneous agreement between theory and data for several targets. Generally speaking the agreement evidences the existence of some major corrections to the eikonal amplitude, namely, propagator off-shell and nucleon recoil effects. Inclusion of the latter primarily affects the single scattering amplitude, which may dominate the large-q2 cross section if FxN (like Fpp) itself rises with q2. The calculation of pD and p4He cross sections requires knowledge of body form factors SA often unknown for large q2. Consistency requirements for angular distributions at several kL lead to a conjectured large-q2 behavior of SA(q). In the case of the D the conjecture has been largely confirmed by a recent measurement of the electric form factor. The agreement leaves little room for NN1 components in the D as heretofore derived from pD scattering. We speculate that in general, reasonable estimates for nuclear form factors out to very large q2 may be obtained from hadron-nucleus scattering data with existing facilities. Since higher q2 values can be reached in hadron-nucleus than in eA scattering, the former may well provide the first tests for predicted scaling of nuclear form factors.  相似文献

The electric form factor of the neutron GEn has been determined in double polarized exclusive 3 He(e,e'n) scattering in quasi–elastic kinematics by measuring asymmetries A , A of the cross section with respect to helicity reversal of the electron, with the nuclear spin being oriented perpendicular to the momentum transfer q in case of A and parallel in case of A. The experiment was performed at the 855 MeV c. w. microtron MAMI at Mainz. The degree of polarization of the electron beam and of the gaseous 3 He target were each about 50%. Scattered electrons and neutrons were detected in coincidence by detector arrays covering large solid angles. Quasi–elastic scattering events were reconstructed from the measured electron scattering angles ϑe, φe and the neutron momentum vector p n in the plane wave impulse approximation. We obtain the result <G En>(0.27 < Q2c2/GeV2 < 0.5)= 0.0334 ± 0.0033stat± 0.0028syst which is averaged over the indicated range of Q 2, the squared momentum transfer. This G En value is significantly smaller than measured from the D(e,e'n) reaction under similar kinematical conditions. To what extent final state interactions in 3He quench the G En result is subject of calculations currently in progress elsewhere. Received: 29 April 1999  相似文献
