In this paper, a new two-step iterative scheme with errors is introduced for two asymptotically quasi-nonexpansive nonself-mappings. Several convergence theorems are established in real Banach spaces and real uniformly convex Banach spaces. Our theorems improve and extend the results due to Thianwan [S. Thianwan, Common fixed point of new iterations for two asymptotically nonexpansive nonself-mappings in a Banach space, J. Comput. Appl. Math. 224 (2009) 685-695] and many other papers.  相似文献

The purpose of this article is to propose a new hybrid algorithm with variable coefficients and prove convergence theorems for asymptotically pseudocontractive mappings in the intermediate sense on unbounded domains. The results of the paper improve and extend the recent results of Qin et al. [X.L. Qin, S.Y. Cho, J.K. Kim, Convergence theorems on asymptotically pseudocontractive mappings in the intermediate sense, Fixed Point Theory Appl. 2010, doi:10.1155/2010/186874, Article ID 186874, 14 pages] and several others. The purpose of this paper is to study the iterative methods for constructing fixed points of nonself-mappings in Banach spaces. The concept of the class of asymptotically QGQG-weakly contractive nonself-mappings is introduced and a new iterative algorithm for finding fixed points of this class of mappings is studied. Several strong convergence results on this algorithm are established under different conditions.  相似文献

In this paper, we introduce some implicit iterative algorithms for finding a common element of the set of fixed points of an asymptotically nonexpansive mapping in the intermediate sense and the set of solutions of the variational inequality problem for a monotone, Lipschitz-continuous mapping. These implicit iterative algorithms are based on two well-known methods: extragradient and approximate proximal methods. We obtain some weak convergence theorems for these implicit iterative algorithms. Based on these theorems, we also construct some implicit iterative processes for finding a common fixed point of two mappings, such that one of these two mappings is taken from the more general class of Lipschitz pseudocontractive mappings and the other mapping is asymptotically nonexpansive.  相似文献

The purpose of this paper is to study the strong convergence of a process of implicit iteration to a common fixed point for a finite family of asymptotically hemi-contractive mappings. Our results extend a recent result of M.O. Osilike and B.G. De Souza, Convergence of a Halpern-type iteration algorithm for a class of pseudocontractive mappings, Nonlinear Analysis (2007), doi:10.1016/j.na.2007.08.008], the authors proved a strong convergence result for strictly pseudo-contractive mappings using a Halpern-type iteration algorithm. A new iterative method for approximating fixed points of bounded and continuous pseudocontractive mapping is proposed and a strong convergence theorem is obtained. As an application, we prove that a slight modification of our new scheme could be employed for approximating zeros of bounded and continuous accretive operators. Our theorems extend and unify most of the results that have been proved for this class of mappings.  相似文献

We prove strong convergence theorems for a sequence which is generated by Halpern’s iteration. We also apply our result for finding zeros of an accretive operator. Our result improves the recent result of Aoyama et al. [K. Aoyama, Y. Kimura, W. Takahashi, M. Toyoda, Approximation of common fixed points of a countable family of nonexpansive mappings in a Banach space, Nonlinear Anal. 67 (2007) 2350-2360] by removing some assumptions on the parameters. Finally we discuss the new sufficient condition studied by Song [Y. Song, A new sufficient condition for the strong convergence of Halpern type iterations. Appl. Math. Comput. 198 (2) (2008) 721-728; Y. Song, New strong convergence theorems for nonexpansive nonself-mappings without boundary conditions. Comput. Math. The purpose in this paper is to prove a theorem of strong convergence to a common solution for a finite family of accretive operators in a strictly convex Banach space by means of a new iterative algorithm, which is a generalization and extension of the results of Kim and Xu [T.H. Kim, H.K. Xu, Strong convergence of modified Mann iterations, Nonlinear Anal. 61 (2005) 51–60], and Zegeye and Shahzad [H. Zegeye, N. Shahzad, Strong convergence theorems for a common zero of a finite family of m-accretive mappings, Nonlinear Anal. 66 (2007) 1161–1169]. Further using the result, the theorem of strong convergence to a common fixed point is discussed for a finite family of pseudocontractive mappings under certain conditions.  相似文献

Let C be a nonempty, closed and convex subset of a real Hilbert space H. Let Ti:CC,i=1,2,…,N, be a finite family of Lipschitz pseudocontractive mappings. It is our purpose, in this paper, to prove strong convergence of Ishikawa’s method to a common fixed point of a finite family of Lipschitz pseudocontractive mappings provided that the interior of the common fixed points is nonempty. No compactness assumption is imposed either on T or on C. Moreover, computation of the closed convex set Cn for each n≥1 is not required. The results obtained in this paper improve on most of the results that have been proved for this class of nonlinear mappings.  相似文献

In this article, we first introduce an iterative method based on the hybrid viscosity approximation method and the hybrid steepest-descent method for finding a fixed point of a Lipschitz pseudocontractive mapping (assuming existence) and prove that our proposed scheme has strong convergence under some mild conditions imposed on algorithm parameters in real Hilbert spaces. Next, we introduce a new iterative method for a solution of a nonlinear integral equation of Hammerstein type and obtain strong convergence in real Hilbert spaces. Our results presented in this article generalize and extend the corresponding results on Lipschitz pseudocontractive mapping and nonlinear integral equation of Hammerstein type reported by some authors recently. We compare our iterative scheme numerically with other iterative scheme for solving non-linear integral equation of Hammerstein type to verify the efficiency and implementation of our new method.  相似文献
