In this paper, we are concerned with a nonsmooth multiobjective optimization problem with inequality constraints. We introduce a second-order constraint qualification, which is a generalization of the Abadie constraint qualification and derive second-order Kuhn-Tucker type necessary conditions for efficiency under the constraint qualification. Moreover, we give some conditions which ensure the constraint qualification holds.  相似文献

We study the properties K and E of C *-algebra A. These conditions are formulated in the terms of C *-Hilbert modules over algebra A and extend the definition of stable rank for any cardinality.  相似文献

Regular solutions to second-order elliptic systems on the plane are representable in terms of A-analytic functions satisfying an operator equation of the Beltrami type. We prove Carleman-type formulas for reconstruction of solutions from data on a part of the boundary of the domain. We use these formulas for solving the Cauchy problems for the system of Lame equations, the Navier–Stokes system, and the system of equations of elasticity with resilience.  相似文献

We find some necessary and sufficient conditions for a plane curve to be the gradient range of a C 1-smooth function of two variables. As one of the consequences we give the necessary and sufficient conditions on a continuous function ? under which the differential equation \(\frac{{\partial v}}{{\partial t}} = \varphi \left( {\frac{{\partial v}}{{\partial x}}} \right)\) has nontrivial C 1-smooth solutions.  相似文献

For a certain class of extensions of C*-algebras in which B and A belong to classifiable classes of C*-algebras, we show that the functor which sends to its associated six term exact sequence in K-theory and the positive cones of K0(B) and K0(A) is a classification functor. We give two independent applications addressing the classification of a class of C*-algebras arising from substitutional shift spaces on one hand and of graph algebras on the other. The former application leads to the answer of a question of Carlsen and the first named author concerning the completeness of stabilized Matsumoto algebras as an invariant of flow equivalence. The latter leads to the first classification result for nonsimple graph C*-algebras.  相似文献

We define K-theory groups and symmetric K-theory spectra associated to 2-graded C *-categories and show that the exterior product of K-theory groups can be expressed in terms of the smash product of symmetric spectra.  相似文献

One of the main results of the present article is as follows Theorem. Let v: Ω → ? be a C1-smooth function on a domain Ω ? ?2. Suppose that Int?v(Ω) = ?. Then, for every point z ∈ Ω, there is a straight line L ? z such that ?v ≡ const on the connected component of the set L ? Ω containing z.Also, we prove that, under the conditions of the theorem, the range of the gradient ?v(Ω) is locally a curve and this curve has tangents in the weak sense and the direction of these tangents is a function of bounded variation.  相似文献

The perturbation of the generator of a Borel right process by a signed measure is investigated, using probabilistic and analytic potential theoretical methods. We establish a Feynman-Kac formula associated with measures charging no polar set and belonging to an extended Kato class. A main tool of this approach is the validity of a Khas’minskii Lemma for Stieltjes exponentials of positive left continuous additive functionals.   相似文献

Akemann showed that any von Neumann algebra with a weak* separable dual space has a faithful normal representation on a separable Hilbert space. He posed the question: If a C*-algebra has a weak* separable state space, must it have a faithful representation on a separable Hilbert space? Wright solved this question negatively and showed that a unital C*-algebra has the weak* separable state space if and only if it has a unital completely positive map, into a type I factor on a separable Hilbert space, whose restriction to the self-adjoint part induces an order isomorphism. He called such a C*-algebra almost separably representable. We say that a unital C*-algebra is small if it has a unital complete isometry into a type I factor on a separable Hilbert space. In this paper we show that a unital C*-algebra is small if and only if the state spaces of all n by n matrix algebras over the C*-algebra are weak*-separable. It is natural to ask whether almost separably representable algebras are small or not. We settle this question positively for simple C*-algebras but the general question remains open.  相似文献

This paper considers the connections between the local extrema of a function f:DR and the local extrema of the restrictions of f to specific subsets of D. In particular, such subsets may be parametrized curves, integral manifolds of a Pfaff system, Pfaff inequations. The paper shows the existence of C 1 or C 2-curves containing a given sequence of points. Such curves are then exploited to establish the connections between the local extrema of f and the local extrema of f constrained by the family of C 1 or C 2-curves. Surprisingly, what is true for C 1-curves fails to be true in part for C 2-curves. Sufficient conditions are given for a point to be a global minimum point of a convex function with respect to a family of curves.  相似文献

We describe the Kasparov group KK(A, B) as the set of homotopy classes of homomorphisms from an algebra qA associated with A into K B. The algebra qA consists of K-theory differential forms over A. Its construction is dual to that of M 2(A). The analysis of qA and of its interplay with M 2(A) gives the basic results of KK-theory.Partially supported by NSF.  相似文献

Peculiar properties of hermitian and positive n-times integrated C-cosine functions on Banach spaces are investigated. Among them are: (1) Any nondegenerate positiven -times integrated C-cosine function is infinitely differentiable in operator norm; (2) An exponentially bounded, nondegenerateC -cosine function on L p () (1L 1(), C0 , in case C has dense range) is positive if and only if its generator is bounded, positive, and commutes with C.  相似文献

We associate to any length function L on a group a space of rapidly decreasing functions on (in the l 2 sense), denoted by H L (). When H L () is contained in the reduced C*-algebra C r * () of (), then it is a dense *-subalgebra of C r * () and we prove a theorem of A. Connes which asserts that under this hypothesis H L () has the same K-theory as C r * (). We introduce another space of rapidly decreasing functions on (in the l 1 sense), denoted by H L 1, (), which is always a dense *-subalgebra of the Banach algebra l 1(), and we show that H L 1, () has the same K-theory as l 1().  相似文献

Assume that each completely irrational noncommutative torus is realized as an inductive limit of circle algebras, and that for a completely irrational noncommutative torus Aw of rank m there are a completely irrational noncommutative torus Aρ of rank m and a positive integer d such that tr(Aw)=1/d.tr(Aρ).It is proved that the set of all C^*-algebras of sections of locally trivial C^*-algebra bundles over S^2 with fibres Aω has a group sturcture, denoted by π1^s(Aut(Aω)),which is isomorphic to Zif Ed>1 and {0} if d>1.Let Bcd be a cd-homogeneous C^*-algebra over S^2×T^2 of which no non-trivial matrix algebra can be factored out.The spherical noncommutative torus Sρ^cd is defined by twisting C^*(T2×Z^m-2) in Bcd ×C^*(Z^m-3) by a totally skew multiplier ρ on T^2×Z^m-2。It is shown that Sρ^cd×Mρ∞ is isomorphic to C(S^2)×C^*(T^2×Z^m-2,ρ)× Mcd(C)×Mρ∞ if and only if the set of prime factors of cd is a subset of the set of prime factors of p.  相似文献

We define the C *-algebra of quantum real projective space R P q 2, classify its irreducible representations, and compute its K-theory. We also show that the q-disc of Klimek and Lesniewski can be obtained as a non-Galois Z 2-quotient of the equator Podle quantum sphere. On the way, we provide the Cartesian coordinates for all Podle quantum spheres and determine an explicit form of isomorphisms between the C *-algebras of the equilateral spheres and the C *-algebra of the equator one.  相似文献

The results of Kasparov, Connes, Higson, and Loring imply the coincidence of the functors [[qℂ ⊗ K, BK]] = [[C 0(ℝ2) ⊗ K, BK]] for any C*-algebra B; here[[A, B]] denotes the set of homotopy classes of asymptotic homomorphisms from A to B. Inthe paper, this assertion is strengthened; namely, it is shown that the algebras qℂ ⊗ K and C 0(ℝ2) ⊗ K are equivalent in the category whose objects are C*-algebras and morphisms are classes of homotopic asymptotic homomorphisms. Some geometric properties of the obtained equivalence are studied. Namely, the algebras qℂ ⊗ K and C 0(ℝ2) ⊗ K are represented as fields of C*-algebras; it is proved that the equivalence is not fiber-preserving, i.e., is does not take fibers to fibers. It is also proved that the algebras under consideration are not homotopy equivalent.__________Translated from Matematicheskie Zametki, vol. 77, no. 5, 2005, pp. 788–796.Original Russian Text Copyright ©2005 by T.
