LetA be an operator of the calculus of variations of order 2m onW m,p (Ω) andj a normal convex integrand. ForfL p (Ω), the equation $$\mathcal{A}u + \partial j(x,u) \ni f, in \Omega , u - \phi \in W_0^{m,p} (\Omega ),$$ may have no strong solutions whenm>1, even ifj is independent ofx and φ=0. However, we obtain existence results whenj is everywhere finite and $$\int_\Omega {j(x,\phi ) dx< + \infty ,} $$ by the study of the subdifferential of the function $$\upsilon \mapsto \int_\Omega {j(x,\upsilon + \phi ) dx on W_0^{m,p} (\Omega ).} $$   相似文献

Пустьf(x) — интегрируемая 2π-периодическая функция, aω(f,δ) иs n(x)=sn(f, x). (1) 1 $$\left\| {\left. {\sum\limits_{k = 1}^\infty \Omega (|S_k (x) - f(x)|)} \right\|_C } \right.$$ то 1 $$\omega (f;\delta ) = O\left( {\delta \int\limits_\delta ^1 {\frac{{\bar \Omega (v)}}{{v^2 }}dv} } \right),$$ где ¯Ω(v) —функция, обратная к Ω(и).

Classical solutions of the Oseen problem are studied on an exterior domain Ω with Ljapunov boundary in R 3. It is proved a maximum modulus estimate of the following form: If ${{\bf u}\in C^2(\Omega)^3\cap C^0(\overline \Omega)^3}$ and ${p \in C^1(\Omega ), -\Delta {\bf u}+2\lambda \partial_1 {\bf u}+\nabla p=0, \nabla \cdot {\bf u}=0}$ in Ω, and if ${|{\bf u}| \le M}$ on ${\partial \Omega , \limsup |{\bf u}({\bf x})|\le M}$ as ${|{\bf x}|\to \infty }$ , then ${|{\bf u}({\bf x})|\le c M}$ in Ω. Here the constant c depends only on Ω and λ.  相似文献

LetΩ ? ?2 be a smooth bounded simply connected domain. Consider the functional $$E_\varepsilon (u) = \frac{1}{2}\int\limits_\Omega {\left| {\nabla u} \right|^2 + \frac{1}{{4\varepsilon ^2 }}} \int\limits_\Omega {(|u|^2 - 1)^2 } $$ on the classH g 1 ={u εH 1(Ω; ?);u=g on ?Ω} whereg:?Ω? → ? is a prescribed smooth map with ¦g¦=1 on ?Ω? and deg(g, ?Ω)=0. Let uu ε be a minimizer for Eε onH g 1 . We prove that uε → u0 in \(C^{1,\alpha } (\bar \Omega )\) as ε → 0, where u0 is identified. Moreover \(\left\| {u_\varepsilon - u_0 } \right\|_{L^\infty } \leqslant C\varepsilon ^2 \) .  相似文献

The purpose of this paper is to prove that for a large set of absolute Hausdorff and quasi-Hausdorff methods the condition $$\sum\limits_{k = 1}^\infty {\left| {\lambda _n a_n - \lambda _{n - 1} a_{n - 1} } \right|< } \infty $$ is a Tauberian condition, i.e., its fulfillment together with the absolute summability of \(\sum\limits_{n = 0}^\infty {a_n } \) tos implies that \(\sum\limits_{n = 0}^\infty {\left| {a_n } \right|}< \infty \) and \(\sum\limits_{n = 0}^\infty {a_n } = s.\) a n =s.  相似文献

We consider the following question: Given a connected open domain ${\Omega \subset \mathbb{R}^n}$ , suppose ${u, v : \Omega \rightarrow \mathbb{R}^n}$ with det ${(\nabla u) > 0}$ , det ${(\nabla v) > 0}$ a.e. are such that ${\nabla u^T(x)\nabla u(x) = \nabla v(x)^T \nabla v(x)}$ a.e. , does this imply a global relation of the form ${\nabla v(x) = R\nabla u(x)}$ a.e. in Ω where ${R \in SO(n)}$ ? If u, v are C 1 it is an exercise to see this true, if ${u, v\in W^{1,1}}$ we show this is false. In Theorem 1 we prove this question has a positive answer if ${v \in W^{1,1}}$ and ${u \in W^{1,n}}$ is a mapping of L p integrable dilatation for p > n ? 1. These conditions are sharp in two dimensions and this result represents a generalization of the corollary to Liouville’s theorem that states that the differential inclusion ${\nabla u \in SO(n)}$ can only be satisfied by an affine mapping. Liouville’s corollary for rotations has been generalized by Reshetnyak who proved convergence of gradients to a fixed rotation for any weakly converging sequence ${v_k \in W^{1,1}}$ for which $$\int \limits_{\Omega} {\rm dist}(\nabla v_k, SO(n))dz \rightarrow 0 \, {\rm as} \, k \rightarrow \infty.$$ Let S(·) denote the (multiplicative) symmetric part of a matrix. In Theorem 3 we prove an analogous result to Theorem 1 for any pair of weakly converging sequences ${v_k \in W^{1,p}}$ and ${u_k \in W^{1,\frac{p(n-1)}{p-1}}}$ (where ${p \in [1, n]}$ and the sequence (u k ) has its dilatation pointwise bounded above by an L r integrable function, rn ? 1) that satisfy ${\int_{\Omega} |S(\nabla u_k) - S(\nabla v_k)|^p dz \rightarrow 0}$ as k → ∞ and for which the sign of the det ${(\nabla v_k)}$ tends to 1 in L 1. This result contains Reshetnyak’s theorem as the special case (u k ) ≡ Id, p = 1.  相似文献

We discuss the spectrum of a symmetric elliptic differential operator A with domain \(\mathop {H^m }\limits^o (\Omega ) \cap H^{2m} (\Omega )\) in regions Ω with unbounded boundary \(\dot \Omega \) , where are \(\bar \Omega \) uniformely of class C2m and on \(\dot \Omega \) the normal condition x·ν(x)≦μ for sufficient small positiveμ. We prove the A-priori-estimate \(\parallel u\parallel _{m,\Omega } \leqq c\parallel (l + r) (A - k)u\parallel _{o,\Omega } \) and show for all k>k, k≧0 suitable, there are no eigenvalues of A and by characterizing weighted Sobolev spaces with negative norm the existence of solutions \((l + r)_2 ^{ - 1} u \in \mathop H\limits^0{^m} (\Omega ) \cap H^{2m} (\Omega )\) of the equation (A?k)u=f, (1+r)f∈L2(Ω).  相似文献

We consider an eigenvalue problem of the form $$\left.\begin{array}{cl}-\Delta_{p} u = \lambda\, K(x)|u|^{p-2}u \quad \mbox{in}\quad \Omega^e\\ u(x) =0 \quad \mbox{for}\quad \partial \Omega\\ u(x) \to 0 \quad \mbox{as}\quad |x| \to \infty,\end{array} \right \}$$ where \({\Omega \subset \mathrm{I\!R\!}^N}\) is a simply connected bounded domain, containing the origin, with C 2 boundary \({\partial \Omega}\) and \({\Omega^e:=\mathrm{I\!R\!^N} \setminus \overline{\Omega}}\) is the exterior domain, \({1 < p < N, \Delta_{p}u:={\rm div}(|\nabla u|^{p-2} \nabla u)}\) is the p-Laplacian operator and \({K \in L^{\infty}(\Omega^e) \cap L^{N/p}(\Omega^e)}\) is a positive function. Existence and properties of principal eigenvalue λ 1 and its corresponding eigenfunction are established which are generally known in bounded domain or in \({\mathrm{I\!R\!}^N}\) . We also establish the decay rate of positive eigenfunction as \({|x| \to \infty}\) as well as near .  相似文献

Let Ω be a connected open subset of R d . We analyse L 1-uniqueness of real second-order partial differential operators ${H = - \sum^d_{k,l=1} \partial_k c_{kl} \partial_l}$ and ${K = H + \sum^d_{k=1}c_k \partial_k + c_0}$ on Ω where ${c_{kl} = c_{lk} \in W^{1,\infty}_{\rm loc}(\Omega), c_k \in L_{\infty,{\rm loc}}(\Omega), c_0 \in L_{2,{\rm loc}}(\Omega)}$ and C(x) = (c kl (x)) > 0 for all ${x \in \Omega}$ . Boundedness properties of the coefficients are expressed indirectly in terms of the balls B(r) associated with the Riemannian metric C ?1 and their Lebesgue measure |B(r)|. First, we establish that if the balls B(r) are bounded, the Täcklind condition ${\int^\infty_R dr r({\rm log}|B(r)|)^{-1} = \infty}$ is satisfied for all large R and H is Markov unique then H is L 1-unique. If, in addition, ${C(x) \geq \kappa (c^{T} \otimes c)(x)}$ for some ${\kappa > 0}$ and almost all ${x \in \Omega}$ , ${{\rm div} c \in L_{\infty,{\rm loc}}(\Omega)}$ is upper semi-bounded and c 0 is lower semi-bounded, then K is also L 1-unique. Secondly, if the c kl extend continuously to functions which are locally bounded on ?Ω and if the balls B(r) are bounded, we characterize Markov uniqueness of H in terms of local capacity estimates and boundary capacity estimates. For example, H is Markov unique if and only if for each bounded subset A of ${\overline\Omega}$ there exist ${\eta_n \in C_c^\infty(\Omega)}$ satisfying , where ${\Gamma(\eta_n) = \sum^d_{k,l=1}c_{kl} (\partial_k \eta_n) (\partial_l \eta_n)}$ , and for each ${\varphi \in L_2(\Omega)}$ or if and only if cap(?Ω) = 0.  相似文献

Given a Lipschitz domain Ω in ${{\mathbb R}^N}$ and a nonnegative potential V in Ω such that V(xd(x, ?Ω)2 is bounded we study the fine regularity of boundary points with respect to the Schrödinger operator L V := Δ ? V in Ω. Using potential theoretic methods, several conditions are shown to be equivalent to the fine regularity of ${z \in \partial \Omega}$ . The main result is a simple (explicit if Ω is smooth) necessary and sufficient condition involving the size of V for ${z \in \partial \Omega}$ to be finely regular. An intermediate result consists in a majorization of ${\int_A \vert{\frac{ u} {d(.,\partial \Omega)}}\vert^2\, dx}$ for u positive harmonic in Ω and ${A \subset \Omega}$ . Conditions for almost everywhere regularity in a subset A of ?Ω are also given as well as an extension of the main results to a notion of fine ${\mathcal{ L}_1 \vert \mathcal{L}_0}$ -regularity, if ${\mathcal{L}_j = \mathcal{L} - V_j, V_0,\, V_1}$ being two potentials, with V 0 ≤ V 1 and ${\mathcal{L}}$ a second order elliptic operator.  相似文献

Given Ω bounded open regular set of ${\mathbb{R}^2}$ , ${q_1,\ldots, q_K \in \Omega}$ , ${\varrho : \Omega \longrightarrow [0,+\infty)}$ a regular bounded function and ${V: \Omega \longrightarrow [0,+\infty)}$ a bounded fuction. We give a sufficient condition for the model problem $$(P):\qquad-{\Delta}u -{\lambda}\varrho(x)|{\nabla}u|^2 = \varepsilon^{2}V(x)e^u$$ to have a positive weak solution in Ω with u = 0 on ?Ω, which is singular at each q i as the parameters ${\varepsilon}$ and λ tend to 0, essentially when the set of concentration points q i and the set of zeros of V are not necessarily disjoint.  相似文献

We study the classical Calderón Zygmund singular integral operator with homogeneous kernel. Suppose that Ω is an integrable function with mean value 0 on S 1. We study the singular integral operator $$T_\Omega f= {\rm p.v.} \, f * \frac {\Omega (x/|x|)}{|x|^2}.$$ We show that for α > 0 the condition $$\Bigg| \int \limits _{I} \Omega (\theta) \, d\theta \Bigg| \leq C |\log|I||^{-1-\alpha} \quad\quad\quad\quad (0.1)$$ for all intervals |I| < 1 in S 1 gives L p boundedness of T Ω in the range ${|1/2-1/p| < \frac \alpha {2(\alpha+1)}}$ . This condition is weaker than the conditions from Grafakos and Stefanov (Indiana Univ Math J 47:455–469, 1998) and Fan et al. (Math Inequal Appl 2:73–81, 1999). We also construct an example of an integrable Ω which satisfies (0.1) such that T Ω is not L p bounded for ${|1/2-1/p| > \frac {3\alpha +1}{6(\alpha +1)}}$ .  相似文献

LetΛ 1(Ω) be the first eigenvalue of the vector-valued problem $$\begin{gathered} \Delta u + \alpha grad div u + \Delta u = 0 in \Omega , \hfill \\ u = 0 in \partial \Omega , \hfill \\ \end{gathered} $$ , withα>0. Letλ 1(Ω) be the first eigenvalue of the scalar problem $$\begin{gathered} \Delta u + \lambda u = 0 in \Omega , \hfill \\ u = 0 on \partial \Omega . \hfill \\ \end{gathered} $$ . The paper contains a proof of the inequality $$\left( {1 + \frac{\alpha }{n}} \right)\lambda _1 \left( \Omega \right) > \Lambda _1 \left( \Omega \right) > \left( \Omega \right)$$ and improves recent estimates of Sprössig [15] and Levine and Protter [11]. Moreover we show, ifΩ is a ball, that an eigensolution u1, associated withΛ 1(Ω) is not unique and that the eigensolutions for this and higher eigenvalues are never rotationally invariant. Finally we calculate some eigensolutions explicitly.  相似文献

On a smoothly bounded domain ${\Omega\subset\mathbb{R}^{2m}}$ we consider a sequence of positive solutions ${u_k\stackrel{w}{\rightharpoondown}0}$ in H m (Ω) to the equation ${(-\Delta)^m u_k=\lambda_k u_k e^{mu_k^2}}$ subject to Dirichlet boundary conditions, where 0 < λ k → 0. Assuming that $$0 < \Lambda:=\lim_{k\to\infty}\int\limits_\Omega u_k(-\Delta)^m u_k dx < \infty,$$ we prove that Λ is an integer multiple of Λ1 := (2m ? 1)! vol(S 2m ), the total Q-curvature of the standard 2m-dimensional sphere.  相似文献

We consider the following problem $$\left\{ \begin{array}{ll}-\Delta u = \mu |u|^\frac{4}{N-2}u + \frac{|u|^\frac{4-2s}{N-2}u}{|x|^{s}} + a(x)u, & x \in \Omega,\\ u=0, & {\rm on}\; \partial \Omega \end{array}\right.$$ where ${ \mu \ge 0, 0 < s < 2, 0 \in \partial \Omega}$ and Ω is a bounded domain in R N . We prove that if ${N \ge 7, a(0) > 0}$ and all the principle curvatures of at 0 are negative, then the above problem has infinitely many solutions.  相似文献

Let ${\Omega\subset\mathbb{R}^n}$ be a bounded domain, and let 1 < p < ∞ and σ < p. We study the nonlinear singular integral equation $$ M[u](x) = f_0(x)\quad {\rm in}\,\Omega$$ with the boundary condition u = g 0 on ?Ω, where ${f_0\in C(\overline\Omega)}$ and ${g_0\in C(\partial\Omega)}$ are given functions and M is the singular integral operator given by $$M[u](x)={\rm p.v.} \int\limits_{B(0,\rho(x))} \frac{p-\sigma}{|z|^{n+\sigma}}|u(x+z)-u(x)|^{p-2} (u(x+z)-u(x))\,{\rm dz},$$ with some choice of ${\rho\in C(\overline\Omega)}$ having the property, 0 < ρ(x) ≤ dist (x, ?Ω). We establish the solvability (well-posedness) of this Dirichlet problem and the convergence uniform on ${\overline\Omega}$ , as σp, of the solution u σ of the Dirichlet problem to the solution u of the Dirichlet problem for the p-Laplace equation νΔ p u = f 0 in Ω with the Dirichlet condition u = g 0 on ?Ω, where the factor ν is a positive constant (see (7.2)).  相似文献

The author studies the boundary value problem of the classical semilinear parabolic equations ut-△u = |u|p-1u inΩ×(0, T), and u = 0 on the boundary × [0, T) and u = φ at t = 0, where Rnis a compact C1domain, 1 < p ≤ p S is a fixed constant, and φ∈ C1 0(Ω) is a given smooth function. Introducing a new idea, it is shown that there are two sets W and Z, such that for φ∈ W, there is a global positive solution u(t) ∈ W with H1omega limit 0 and for φ∈ Z, the solution blows up at finite time.  相似文献

Let \(\bar x\) , \(\bar y\ \in\ R_n\) be vectors which satisfy x1 x2 … ≥ xn and y1 y2 >- … ≥ yn and Σxi = Σyi. We say that \(\bar x\) is power majorized by \(\bar y\) if Σxi p Σyi p for all real p ?
