Let ${\Omega\subset\mathbb{R}^n}$ be open and bounded. For 1 ≤ p < ∞ and 0 ≤ λ < n, we give a characterization of Young measures generated by sequences of functions ${\{{\bf f}_j\}_{j=1}^\infty}$ uniformly bounded in the Morrey space ${L^{p,\lambda}(\Omega;\mathbb{R}^N)}$ with ${\{\left|{{\bf f}_j}\right|^p\}_{j=1}^\infty}$ equiintegrable. We then treat the case that each f j = ? u j for some ${{\bf u}_j\in W^{1,p}(\Omega;\mathbb{R}^N)}$ . As an application of our results, we consider the functional $${\bf u} \mapsto \int\limits_{\Omega}f({\bf x}, {\bf u}({\bf x}), {\bf {\nabla}}{\bf u}({\bf x})){\rm d}{\bf x},$$ and provide conditions that guarantee the existence of a minimizing sequence with gradients uniformly bounded in ${L^{p,\lambda}(\Omega;\mathbb{R}^{N\times n})}$ .  相似文献

In this paper, we study a composition operator ${C_{\varphi}}$ on the weighted Bergman space ${A_{\alpha}^p(B)}$ of the unit ball B in ${{\mathbb{C}}^N}$ . Under a natural condition we estimate the essential norm of ${C_{\varphi}}$ . As a consequence of this estimate, we also give a function-theoretic characterization of ${\varphi}$ that induces a compact composition operator on ${A_{\alpha}^p(B)}$ .  相似文献

Let ${\mathfrak{g}=W_1}$ be the p-dimensional Witt algebra over an algebraically closed field ${k=\overline{\mathbb{F}}_q}$ , where p > 3 is a prime and q is a power of p. Let G be the automorphism group of ${\mathfrak{g}}$ . The Frobenius morphism F G (resp. ${F_\mathfrak{g}}$ ) can be defined naturally on G (resp. ${\mathfrak{g}}$ ). In this paper, we determine the ${F_\mathfrak{g}}$ -stable G-orbits in ${\mathfrak{g}}$ . Furthermore, the number of ${\mathbb{F}_q}$ -rational points in each ${F_\mathfrak{g}}$ -stable orbit is precisely given. Consequently, we obtain the number of ${\mathbb{F}_q}$ -rational points in the nilpotent variety.  相似文献

Let ${\vartheta}$ be a measure on the polydisc ${\mathbb{D}^n}$ which is the product of n regular Borel probability measures so that ${\vartheta([r,1)^n\times\mathbb{T}^n) >0 }$ for all 0 < r < 1. The Bergman space ${A^2_{\vartheta}}$ consists of all holomorphic functions that are square integrable with respect to ${\vartheta}$ . In one dimension, it is well known that if f is continuous on the closed disc ${\overline{\mathbb{D}}}$ , then the Hankel operator H f is compact on ${A^2_\vartheta}$ . In this paper we show that for n ≥ 2 and f a continuous function on ${{\overline{\mathbb{D}}}^n}$ , H f is compact on ${A^2_\vartheta}$ if and only if there is a decomposition f = h + g, where h belongs to ${A^2_\vartheta}$ and ${\lim_{z\to\partial\mathbb{D}^n}g(z)=0}$ .  相似文献

Let ${\mathcal{L}}$ be a ${\mathcal{J}}$ -subspace lattice on a Banach space X over the real or complex field ${\mathbb{F}}$ with dim X ≥ 2 and Alg ${\mathcal{L}}$ be the associated ${\mathcal{J}}$ -subspace lattice algebra. For any scalar ${\xi \in \mathbb{F}}$ , there is a characterization of any linear map L : Alg ${\mathcal{L} \rightarrow {\rm Alg} {\mathcal{L}}}$ satisfying ${L([A,B]_\xi) = [L(A),B]_\xi + [A,L(B)]_\xi}$ for any ${A, B \in{\rm Alg} {\mathcal{L}}}$ with AB = 0 (rep. ${[A,B]_ \xi = AB - \xi BA = 0}$ ) given. Based on these results, a complete characterization of (generalized) ξ-Lie derivations for all possible ξ on Alg ${\mathcal{L}}$ is obtained.  相似文献

For L a finite lattice, let ${\mathbb {C}(L) \subseteq L^2}$ denote the set of pairs γ = (γ 0, γ 1) such that ${\gamma_0 \prec \gamma_1}$ and order it as followsγδ iff γ 0δ 0, ${\gamma_{1} \nleq \delta_0,}$ and γ 1δ 1. Let ${\mathbb {C}(L, \gamma)}$ denote the connected component of γ in this poset. Our main result states that, for any ${\gamma, \mathbb {C}(L, \gamma)}$ is a semidistributive lattice if L is semidistributive, and that ${\mathbb {C}(L, \gamma)}$ is a bounded lattice if L is bounded. Let ${\mathcal{S}_{n}}$ be the Permutohedron on n letters and let ${\mathcal{T}_{n}}$ be the Associahedron on n + 1 letters. Explicit computations show that ${\mathbb {C}(\mathcal{S}_{n}, \alpha) = \mathcal{S}_{n-1}}$ and ${\mathbb {C}(\mathcal {T}_n, \alpha) = \mathcal {T}_{n-1}}$ , up to isomorphism, whenever α1 is an atom of ${\mathcal{S}_{n}}$ or ${\mathcal{T}_{n}}$ . These results are consequences of new characterizations of finite join-semidistributive and of finite lower bounded lattices: (i) a finite lattice is join-semidistributive if and only if the projection sending ${\gamma \in \mathbb {C}(L)}$ to ${\gamma_0 \in L}$ creates pullbacks, (ii) a finite join-semidistributive lattice is lower bounded if and only if it has a strict facet labelling. Strict facet labellings, as defined here, are a generalization of the tools used by Caspard et al. to prove that lattices of finite Coxeter groups are bounded.  相似文献

Let ${\mathcal{M}}$ be a finite von Neumann algebra equipped with a normal tracial state τ. It is shown that if ${\{x_n\}_{n\geq1}}$ is a sequence of positive marginales that is bounded in ${L^1(\mathcal{M},\mathcal{T})}$ , then for every 0 < p < 1, there exists ${y \in L^p(\mathcal{M},\mathcal{T})}$ satisfying the property that ${x_n \leq y}$ for all ${n\geq 1}$ . Thus we obtain a noncommutative analogue of a maximal function theorem from classical martingale theory.  相似文献

Let qp s be a power of a prime number p and let ${\mathbb {F}_{\rm q}}$ be a finite field with q elements. This paper aims to demonstrate the utility and relation of composed products to other areas such as the factorization of cyclotomic polynomials, construction of irreducible polynomials, and linear recurrence sequences over ${\mathbb {F}_{\rm q}}$ . In particular we obtain the explicit factorization of the cyclotomic polynomial ${\Phi_{2^nr}}$ over ${\mathbb {F}_{\rm q}}$ where both r ≥ 3 and q are odd, gcd(q, r) = 1, and ${n\in \mathbb{N}}$ . Previously, only the special cases when r = 1, 3, 5, had been achieved. For this we make the assumption that the explicit factorization of ${\Phi_r}$ over ${\mathbb {F}_{\rm q}}$ is given to us as a known. Let ${n = p_1^{e_1}p_2^{e_2}\cdots p_s^{e_s}}$ be the factorization of ${n \in \mathbb{N}}$ into powers of distinct primes p i , 1 ≤ i ≤ s. In the case that the multiplicative orders of q modulo all these prime powers ${p_i^{e_i}}$ are pairwise coprime, we show how to obtain the explicit factors of ${\Phi_{n}}$ from the factors of each ${\Phi_{p_i^{e_i}}}$ . We also demonstrate how to obtain the factorization of ${\Phi_{mn}}$ from the factorization of ${\Phi_n}$ when q is a primitive root modulo m and ${{\rm gcd}(m, n) = {\rm gcd}(\phi(m),{\rm ord}_n(q)) = 1.}$ Here ${\phi}$ is the Euler’s totient function, and ord n (q) denotes the multiplicative order of q modulo n. Moreover, we present the construction of a new class of irreducible polynomials over ${\mathbb {F}_{\rm q}}$ and generalize a result due to Varshamov (Soviet Math Dokl 29:334–336, 1984).  相似文献

Let G =  (V, E) be a finite loopless graph and let (A, +) be an abelian group with identity 0. Then an A-magic labeling of G is a function ${\phi}$ from E into A ? {0} such that for some ${a \in A, \sum_{e \in E(v)} \phi(e) = a}$ for every ${v \in V}$ , where E(v) is the set of edges incident to v. If ${\phi}$ exists such that a =  0, then G is zero-sum A-magic. Let zim(G) denote the subset of ${\mathbb{N}}$ (the positive integers) such that ${1 \in zim(G)}$ if and only if G is zero-sum ${\mathbb{Z}}$ -magic and ${k \geq 2 \in zim(G)}$ if and only if G is zero-sum ${\mathbb{Z}_k}$ -magic. We establish that if G is 3-regular, then ${zim(G) = \mathbb{N} - \{2\}}$ or ${\mathbb{N} - \{2,4\}.}$   相似文献

We denote by Conc A the ${(\vee, 0)}$ -semilattice of all finitely generated congruences of an algebra A. A lifting of a ${(\vee, 0)}$ -semilattice S is an algebra A such that ${S \cong {\rm Con}_{\rm c} A}$ . The assignment Conc can be extended to a functor. The notion of lifting is generalized to diagrams of ${(\vee, 0)}$ -semilattices. A gamp is a partial algebra endowed with a partial subalgebra together with a semilattice-valued distance; gamps form a category that lends itself to a universal algebraic-type study. The raison d’être of gamps is that any algebra can be approximated by its finite subgamps, even in case it is not locally finite. Let ${\mathcal{V}}$ and ${\mathcal{W}}$ be varieties of algebras (on finite, possibly distinct, similarity types). Let P be a finite lattice. We assume the existence of a combinatorial object, called an ${\aleph_0}$ -lifter of P, of infinite cardinality ${\lambda}$ . Let ${\vec{A}}$ be a P-indexed diagram of finite algebras in ${\mathcal{V}}$ . If ${{\rm Con}_{\rm c} \circ \vec{A}}$ has no partial lifting in the category of gamps of ${\mathcal{W}}$ , then there is an algebra ${A \in \mathcal{V}}$ of cardinality ${\lambda}$ such that Conc A is not isomorphic to Conc B for any ${B \in \mathcal{W}}$ . This makes it possible to generalize several known results. In particular, we prove the following theorem, without assuming that ${\mathcal{W}}$ is locally finite. Let ${\mathcal{V}}$ be locally finite and let ${\mathcal{W}}$ be congruence-proper (i.e., congruence lattices of infinite members of ${\mathcal{W}}$ are infinite). The following equivalence holds. Every countable ${(\vee, 0)}$ -semilattice with a lifting in ${\mathcal{V}}$ has a lifting in ${\mathcal{W}}$ if and only if every ${\omega}$ -indexed diagram of finite ${(\vee, 0)}$ -semilattices with a lifting in ${\mathcal{V}}$ has a lifting in ${\mathcal{W}}$ . Gamps are also applied to the study of congruence-preserving extensions. Let ${\mathcal{V}}$ be a non-semidistributive variety of lattices and let n ≥ 2 be an integer. There is a bounded lattice ${A \in \mathcal{V}}$ of cardinality ${\aleph_1}$ with no congruence n-permutable, congruence-preserving extension. The lattice A is constructed as a condensate of a square-indexed diagram of lattices.  相似文献

Let $ \mathfrak{g} $ be a reductive Lie algebra over $ \mathbb{C} $ and $ \mathfrak{k} \subset \mathfrak{g} $ be a reductive in $ \mathfrak{g} $ subalgebra. We call a $ \mathfrak{g} $ -module M a $ \left( {\mathfrak{g}{\hbox{,}}\;\mathfrak{k}} \right) $ -module whenever M is a direct sum of finite-dimensional $ \mathfrak{k} $ -modules. We call a $ \left( {\mathfrak{g}{\hbox{,}}\;\mathfrak{k}} \right) $ -module M bounded if there exists $ {C_M} \in {\mathbb{Z}_{{ \geqslant 0}}} $ such that for any simple finite-dimensional $ \mathfrak{k} $ -module E the dimension of the E-isotypic component is not greater than C M dim E. Bounded $ \left( {\mathfrak{g}{\hbox{,}}\;\mathfrak{k}} \right) $ -modules form a subcategory of the category of $ \mathfrak{g} $ -modules. Let V be a finite-dimensional vector space. We prove that the categories of bounded $ \left( {\mathfrak{sp}\left( {{{\mathrm{S}}^2}V \oplus {{\mathrm{S}}^2}{V^{*}}} \right),\;\mathfrak{gl}(V)} \right) $ - and $ \left( {\mathfrak{sp}\left( {{\varLambda^2}V \oplus {\varLambda^2}{V^{*}}} \right),\;\mathfrak{gl}(V)} \right) $ -modules are isomorphic to the direct sum of countably many copies of the category of representations of some explicitly described quiver with relations under some mild assumptions on the dimension of V .  相似文献

Let ${\Omega \subset \mathbb{R}^{N}}$ be a Lipschitz domain and Γ be a relatively open and non-empty subset of its boundary ${\partial\Omega}$ . We show that the solution to the linear first-order system $$\nabla \zeta = G\zeta, \, \, \zeta|_\Gamma = 0 \quad \quad \quad (1)$$ is unique if ${G \in \textsf{L}^{1}(\Omega; \mathbb{R}^{(N \times N) \times N})}$ and ${\zeta \in \textsf{W}^{1,1}(\Omega; \mathbb{R}^{N})}$ . As a consequence, we prove $$||| \cdot ||| : \textsf{C}_{o}^{\infty}(\Omega, \Gamma; \mathbb{R}^{3}) \rightarrow [0, \infty), \, \, u \mapsto \parallel {\rm sym}(\nabla uP^{-1})\parallel_{\textsf{L}^{2}(\Omega)}$$ to be a norm for ${P \in \textsf{L}^{\infty}(\Omega; \mathbb{R}^{3 \times 3})}$ with Curl ${P \in \textsf{L}^{p}(\Omega; \mathbb{R}^{3 \times 3})}$ , Curl ${P^{-1} \in \textsf{L}^{q}(\Omega; \mathbb{R}^{3 \times 3})}$ for some p, q > 1 with 1/p + 1/q = 1 as well as det ${P \geq c^+ > 0}$ . We also give a new and different proof for the so-called ‘infinitesimal rigid displacement lemma’ in curvilinear coordinates: Let ${\Phi \in \textsf{H}^{1}(\Omega; \mathbb{R}^{3})}$ satisfy sym ${(\nabla\Phi^\top\nabla\Psi) = 0}$ for some ${\Psi \in \textsf{W}^{1,\infty}(\Omega; \mathbb{R}^{3}) \cap \textsf{H}^{2}(\Omega; \mathbb{R}^{3})}$ with det ${\nabla\Psi \geq c^+ > 0}$ . Then, there exist a constant translation vector ${a \in \mathbb{R}^{3}}$ and a constant skew-symmetric matrix ${A \in \mathfrak{so}(3)}$ , such that ${\Phi = A\Psi + a}$ .  相似文献

For ?? > 0, the Banach space ${\mathcal{F}_{\alpha}}$ is defined as the collection of functions f which can be represented as integral transforms of an appropriate kernel against a Borel measure defined on the unit circle T. Let ?? be an analytic self-map of the unit disc D. The map ?? induces a composition operator on ${\mathcal{F}_{\alpha}}$ if ${C_{\Phi}(f) = f \circ \Phi \in \mathcal{F}_{\alpha}}$ for any function ${f \in \mathcal{F}_{\alpha}}$ . Various conditions on ?? are given, sufficient to imply that C ?? is bounded on ${\mathcal{F}_{\alpha}}$ , in the case 0 < ?? < 1. Several of the conditions involve ???? and the theory of multipliers of the space ${\mathcal{F}_{\alpha}}$ . Relations are found between the behavior of C ?? and the membership of ?? in the Dirichlet spaces. Conditions given in terms of the generalized Nevanlinna counting function are shown to imply that ?? induces a bounded composition operator on ${\mathcal{F}_{\alpha}}$ , in the case 1/2 ?? ?? < 1. For such ??, examples are constructed such that ${\| \Phi \|_{\infty} = 1}$ and ${C_{\Phi}: \mathcal{F}_{\alpha} \rightarrow \mathcal{F}_{\alpha}}$ is bounded.  相似文献

Suppose that n is even. Let ${\mathbb{F}_2}$ denote the two-element field and ${\mathbb{Z}}$ the set of integers. Bent functions can be defined as ± 1-valued functions on ${\mathbb{F}_2^n}$ with ± 1-valued Fourier transform. More generally we call a mapping f on ${\mathbb{F}_2^n}$ a ${\mathbb{Z}}$ -bent function if both f and its Fourier transform ${\widehat{f}}$ are integer-valued. ${\mathbb{Z}}$ -bent functions f are separated into different levels, depending on the size of the maximal absolute value attained by f and ${\widehat{f}}$ . It is shown how ${\mathbb{Z}}$ -bent functions of lower level can be built up recursively by gluing together ${\mathbb{Z}}$ -bent functions of higher level. This recursion comes down at level zero, containing the usual bent functions. In the present paper we start to study bent functions in the framework of ${\mathbb{Z}}$ -bent functions and give some guidelines for further research.  相似文献

Let ${\mathcal {P}_{n}^{d}}$ denote the space of polynomials on ? d of total degree n. In this work, we introduce the space of polynomials ${\mathcal {Q}_{2 n}^{d}}$ such that ${\mathcal {P}_{n}^{d}}\subset {\mathcal {Q}_{2 n}^{d}}\subset\mathcal{P}_{2n}^{d}$ and which satisfy the following statement: Let h be any fixed univariate even polynomial of degree n and $\mathcal{A}$ be a finite set in ? d . Then every polynomial P from the space  ${\mathcal {Q}_{2 n}^{d}}$ may be represented by a linear combination of radial basis functions of the form h(∥x+a∥), $a\in \mathcal{A}$ , if and only if the set $\mathcal{A}$ is a uniqueness set for the space  ${\mathcal {Q}_{2 n}^{d}}$ .  相似文献

In this paper, we prove that every lax generalized Veronesean embedding of the Hermitian unital ${\mathcal{U}}$ of ${\mathsf{PG}(2,\mathbb{L}), \mathbb{L}}$ a quadratic extension of the field ${\mathbb{K}}$ and ${|\mathbb{K}| \geq 3}$ , in a ${\mathsf{PG}(d,\mathbb{F})}$ , with ${\mathbb{F}}$ any field and d ≥ 7, such that disjoint blocks span disjoint subspaces, is the standard Veronesean embedding in a subgeometry ${\mathsf{PG}(7,\mathbb{K}^{\prime})}$ of ${\mathsf{PG}(7,\mathbb{F})}$ (and d = 7) or it consists of the projection from a point ${p \in \mathcal{U}}$ of ${\mathcal{U}{\setminus} \{p\}}$ from a subgeometry ${\mathsf{PG}(7,\mathbb{K}^{\prime})}$ of ${\mathsf{PG}(7,\mathbb{F})}$ into a hyperplane ${\mathsf{PG}(6,\mathbb{K}^{\prime})}$ . In order to do so, when ${|\mathbb{K}| >3 }$ we strongly use the linear representation of the affine part of ${\mathcal{U}}$ (the line at infinity being secant) as the affine part of the generalized quadrangle ${\mathsf{Q}(4,\mathbb{K})}$ (the solid at infinity being non-singular); when ${|\mathbb{K}| =3}$ , we use the connection of ${\mathcal{U}}$ with the generalized hexagon of order 2.  相似文献

Let ${\mathcal{P}}$ be a nonparametric probability model consisting of smooth probability densities and let ${\hat{p}_{n}}$ be the corresponding maximum likelihood estimator based on n independent observations each distributed according to the law ${\mathbb{P}}$ . With $\hat{\mathbb{P}}_{n}$ denoting the measure induced by the density ${\hat{p}_{n}}$ , define the stochastic process ${\hat{\nu}}_{n}: f\longmapsto \sqrt{n} \int fd({\hat{\mathbb{P}}}_{n} -\mathbb{P})$ where f ranges over some function class ${\mathcal{F}}$ . We give a general condition for Donsker classes ${\mathcal{F}}$ implying that the stochastic process $\hat{\nu}_{n}$ is asymptotically equivalent to the empirical process in the space ${\ell ^{\infty }(\mathcal{F})}$ of bounded functions on ${ \mathcal{F}}$ . This implies in particular that $\hat{\nu}_{n}$ converges in law in ${\ell ^{\infty }(\mathcal{F})}$ to a mean zero Gaussian process. We verify the general condition for a large family of Donsker classes ${\mathcal{ F}}$ . We give a number of applications: convergence of the probability measure ${\hat{\mathbb{P}}_{n}}$ to ${\mathbb{P}}$ at rate ${\sqrt{n}}$ in certain metrics metrizing the topology of weak(-star) convergence; a unified treatment of convergence rates of the MLE in a continuous scale of Sobolev-norms; ${\sqrt{n}}$ -efficient estimation of nonlinear functionals defined on ${\mathcal{P}}$ ; limit theorems at rate ${\sqrt{n}}$ for the maximum likelihood estimator of the convolution product ${\mathbb{P\ast P}}$ .  相似文献

Let ${f:\Omega \rightarrow \mathbb{R}}$ be a smooth function on a domain   ${\Omega \subset \mathbb{C}^n}$ with its Hessian matrix ${\left( \frac{\partial^2 f}{\partial z^i \partial\bar{z}^j}\right)}$ positive Hermitian. In this paper, we investigate a class of partial differential equations $$\Delta \ln \det (f_{i\bar{j}}) = \beta \;\| \text{grad} \ln \det (f_{i\bar{j}}) \|^2, $$ where Δ and ${\| \cdot \|}$ are the Laplacian and tensor norm, respectively, with respect to the metric ${G = \sum f_{i\bar{j}} \,dz^i \otimes d\bar{z}^j}$ , and β > 1 is some real constant depending on the dimension n. We prove that the above PDEs have a Bernstein property when the metric G is complete, provided that ${\det (f_{i\bar{j}})}$ and the Ricci curvature are bounded.  相似文献

Let (M,g) be an n-dimensional, compact Riemannian manifold and ${P_0(\hbar) = -\hbar{^2} \Delta_g + V(x)}$ be a semiclassical Schrödinger operator with ${\hbar \in (0,\hbar_0]}$ . Let ${E(\hbar) \in [E-o(1),E+o(1)]}$ and ${(\phi_{\hbar})_{\hbar \in (0,\hbar_0]}}$ be a family of L 2-normalized eigenfunctions of ${P_0(\hbar)}$ with ${P_0(\hbar) \phi_{\hbar} = E(\hbar) \phi_{\hbar}}$ . We consider magnetic deformations of ${P_0(\hbar)}$ of the form ${P_u(\hbar) = - \Delta_{\omega_u}(\hbar) + V(x)}$ , where ${\Delta_{\omega_u}(\hbar) = (\hbar d + i \omega_u(x))^*({\hbar}d + i \omega_u(x))}$ . Here, u is a k-dimensional parameter running over ${B^k(\epsilon)}$ (the ball of radius ${\epsilon}$ ), and the family of the magnetic potentials ${(w_u)_{u\in B^k(\epsilon)}}$ satisfies the admissibility condition given in Definition 1.1. This condition implies that kn and is generic under this assumption. Consider the corresponding family of deformations of ${(\phi_{\hbar})_{\hbar \in (0, \hbar_0]}}$ , given by ${(\phi^u_{\hbar})_{\hbar \in(0, \hbar_0]}}$ , where $$\phi_{\hbar}^{(u)}:= {\rm e}^{-it_0 P_u(\hbar)/\hbar}\phi_{\hbar}$$ for ${|t_0|\in (0,\epsilon)}$ ; the latter functions are themselves eigenfunctions of the ${\hbar}$ -elliptic operators ${Q_u(\hbar): ={\rm e}^{-it_0P_u(\hbar)/\hbar} P_0(\hbar) {\rm e}^{it_0 P_u(\hbar)/\hbar}}$ with eigenvalue ${E(\hbar)}$ and ${Q_0(\hbar) = P_{0}(\hbar)}$ . Our main result, Theorem1.2, states that for ${\epsilon >0 }$ small, there are constants ${C_j=C_j(M,V,\omega,\epsilon) > 0}$ with j = 1,2 such that $$C_{1}\leq \int\limits_{\mathcal{B}^k(\epsilon)} |\phi_{\hbar}^{(u)}(x)|^2 \, {\rm d}u \leq C_{2}$$ , uniformly for ${x \in M}$ and ${\hbar \in (0,h_0]}$ . We also give an application to eigenfunction restriction bounds in Theorem 1.3.  相似文献
