Single crystals of a new Ba–Rh–Ir–O oxide were grown from a molten potassium carbonate flux. The new compound, Ba12Rh9.25Ir1.75O33, is structurally related to the 2H-hexagonal perovskite structure and contains pseudo one-dimensional chains of alternating units of ten face-sharing (Rh/Ir)O6 octahedra and one (Rh/Ir)O6 trigonal prism. The magnetic susceptibility of Ba12Rh9.25Ir1.75O33 is featureless, indicating the absence of magnetic order. The oxide is a semiconductor with a room temperature resistance of 280 Ω.  相似文献

The reactions of Cl2O with the cluster ions X(D2O)n=0–4 (X = O, OD, O2, DO2, and O3) were studied in a He buffer gas at temperatures within the range 171–298 K and pressures of 0.27–0.51 Torr, using a flow-tube apparatus. All ions were found to react with Cl2O at rates slower than predicted by the collision rate and the charge center was transferred from X to Cl or ClO. The primary product ions Cl(DOCl) and ClO(DOCl) were observed to react further to produce the ions Cl3O and Cl3O2. The rate constants for the observed reactions are reported and the role that thermodynamics plays in determining possible reaction channels is discussed.  相似文献

Density functional theory calculations, with an effective core potential for the copper ion, and large polarized basis set functions have been used to construct the potential energy surface of the Cu+·(CO)n (n = 1–3) complexes. A linear configuration is obtained for the global minimum of the Cu+·CO and Cu+·(CO)2 complexes with a bond dissociation energy (BDE) of 35.9 and 40.0 kcal mol-1, respectively. For the Cu+·(CO)3 complex, a trigonal planar geometry is obtained for the global minimum with a BDE of 16.5 kcal mol?1. C-coordinated copper ion complexes exhibit stronger binding energy than O-coordinated complexes as a result of Clp → 4s σ-donation. The computed sequential BDEs of Cu+·(CO)n (n = 1–4) complexes agree well with experimental findings, in which the electrostatic energy and σ-donation play an important role in the observed trend.  相似文献

In order to get insight in some of the yet unanswered questions about the formation process of the (Bi,Pb)2Sr2Ca2Cu3O10+ superconducting compound, coupled DTA-TG measurements have been performed in parallel with other techniques such as X-ray diffraction, Scanning Electron Microscopy and Energy Dispersive X-ray Microanalysis. The path leading to the formation of the (Bi,Pb)2Sr2Ca2Cu3O10+ compound, starting from coprecipitated oxalates powders was studied. The activation energy of some of the involved transformation processes were determined. Relationships between the differences induced in the DTA traces by various sample nominal compositions and the intergranular magnetic properties of the superconductor will be discussed.  相似文献

HgBa2Can-1CunO2n+2+( (n=1, 2, 3, 4) 1 are tetragonal with space group space P4/mmm. For n=1,2,3, nearly single-phase crystals were obtained, while for n=4, the sample was primarily a mixture of the n=3 and 4 phases. These materials also possessed the highest Tc values yet observed for any superconductors. The three-component systems RbClMnCl2H2O, 2RbCl · CoCl2 · 2H2O2RbCl · CuCl2 · 2H2OH2O, 2RbCl · CoCl2 · 2H2O2RbCl · MnCl2 · 2H2OH2O have been studied at 25°C. In the 2RbCl · CoCl2 · 2H2O2RbCl · CuCl2 · 2H2OH2O system, a discontinuous series of mixed crystals is formed and in the 2RbCl · CoCl2 · 2H2O2RbCl · MnCl2 · 2H2OH2O system, a continuous series is present.The unit cell parameters of the 2RbCl · CoCl2 · 2H2O double salt were determined: a = 5.586(2) Å, b = 6.469(3) Å, c = 6.988(2) Å, α = 65.31(3)°, β = 87.69(3)°, γ = 84.65(4)°, volume 228.4 Å3, Z = 1.The results obtained and discussed in conjunction with the crystal structure data suggest that for 2MICl · MIICl2 · 2H2O type salts the triclinic structure is stable only when the large rubidium and cesium ions participate in combinations with non-Jahn-Teller metal(II) ions. In the cases of Jahn-Teller metal(II) ions or with potassium or ammonium ions a tetragonal structure is always stable.  相似文献

In order to shed light upon the nature and mechanism of 4f-3d magnetic exchange interactions, a series of binuclear complexes of lanthanide(3+) and chromium(3+) with the general formula [Ln(L)5(H2O)2Cr(CN)6]·mL· nH2O (Ln=La (1), Ce (2), Pr (3), Nd (4); x=5, y=2, m=1 or 2, n=2 or 2.5; L=2-pyrrolidinone) and [Ln(L)4(H2O)3Cr(CN)6] ·nH2O (Ln=Sm (5), Eu (6), Gd (7), Tb (8), Dy (9), Er (10); x=4, y=3, m=0, n= 1.5 or 2.0; L=2-pyrrolidinone) were prepared and the X-ray crystal structures of complexes 2, 6 and 7 were determined. All the compounds consist of a Ln-CN-Cr unit, in which Ln^3+ in a square antiprism environment is bridged to an octahedral coordinated Cr^3+ ion through a cyano group. The magnetic properties of the complexes 3 and 6-10 show an overall antiferromagnetic behavior. The fitting to the experimental magnetic susceptibilities of 7 give g= 1.98, J=0.40 cm^-1, zJ'= -0.21 cm^-1 on the basis of a binuclear spin system (Scd=7/2, Scr=3/2), revealing an intra-molecular Gd^3+-Cr^3+ ferromagnetic interaction and an inter-molecular antiferromagnetic interaction. For 7 the calculation of quantum chemical density functional theory (DFT), combined with the broken symmetry approach, showed that the calculated spin coupling constant was 20.3 cm^-1, supporting the observation of weak ferromagnetic intra-molecular interaction in 7. The spin density distributions of 7 in both the high spin ground state and the broken symmetry state were obtained, and the spin coupling mechanism between Gd^3+ and Cr^3+ was discussed.  相似文献

应用ahinitio计算程序,我们对飞行时间质谱产生的谱图进行了理论分析。稳定的MnnPm+和CrnPm+的结构基本上是多面体,仅有少数结构为环状和平面的。在计算中,我们尚未发现有链状的簇合物,这与风簇绝大多数是多面体是相一致的。因此,单枚金属簇合物的形成机制很大可能是金属进入磷形成的笼簇中。一般地说,除了磷的个别笼状团簇外,金属和磷相互成键是普遍存在的;在二核、多核金属磷簇合物中,金属间相互作用不常见,绝大多数是通过桥磷相连的。  相似文献

The ozone molecule possesses a unique and distinctive (17)O excess (Δ(17)O), which can be transferred to some of the atmospheric molecules via oxidation. This isotopic signal can be used to trace oxidation reactions in the atmosphere. However, such an approach depends on a robust and quantitative understanding of the oxygen transfer mechanism, which is currently lacking for the gas-phase NO(2) + O(3) reaction, an important step in the nocturnal production of atmospheric nitrate. In the present study, the transfer of Δ(17)O from ozone to nitrate radical (NO(3)) during the gas-phase NO(2) + O(3) → NO(3) + O(2) reaction was investigated in a series of laboratory experiments. The isotopic composition (δ(17)O, δ(18)O) of the bulk ozone and the oxygen gas produced in the reaction was determined via isotope ratio mass spectrometry. The Δ(17)O transfer function for the NO(2) + O(3) reaction was determined to be: Δ(17)O(O(3)?) = (1.23 ± 0.19) × Δ(17)O(O(3))(bulk) + (9.02 ± 0.99). The intramolecular oxygen isotope distribution of ozone was evaluated and results suggest that the excess enrichment resides predominantly on the terminal oxygen atoms of ozone. The results obtained in this study will be useful in the interpretation of high Δ(17)O values measured for atmospheric nitrate, thus leading to a better understanding of the natural cycling of atmospheric reactive nitrogen.  相似文献

Ba2La4Ti5O18 crystallizes in the trigonal system (space group R3) with the unit-cell parameters: a = 5.584 (1) Å; c = 41.176 (8) Å; Z= 3.The structure has been solved from single crystal X-ray diffraction data to a final R1 = 0.0285. Ba and La atoms are twelve-fold coordinated and Ti atoms six-fold coordinated. The structure can be described as consisting of identical perovskite-like blocks, five corner-sharing TiO6 octahedra thick, separated by layers of vacant octahedra. The distortion of the cation and anion sublattices has been analysed and a Ba/La order has been evidenced.  相似文献

The [Ni-(H(2)O)(n)](2+)(H(2)O)(m) (n ≤ 6, m ≤ 18) complexes were studied by means of first-principles all-electron calculations performed with the BPW91 gradient corrected functional and the 6-311+G(d,p) basis sets for the H, O, and Ni atoms. Triplet states were found as low-lying states for each (n, m) combination. The estimated Ni(2+)-(H(2)O)(n) binding energies (112.8-57.4 kcal/mol for the first layer and 52.0-23.0 kcal/mol for the second one) decreases and the Ni(2+)-OH(2) bond lengths lengthen as n + m increases. With six H(2)O moieties the Ni(2+) ion furnishes its first coordination sphere of octahedral geometry. Further water addition renders the formation of the second layer. The effect of Ni(2+) on the (H(2)O)(n)···(H(2)O)(m) hydrogen bond formation for several "n" and "m" combinations was studied, revealing an enhancement of this kind of bonding, which is of key importance for the stabilization and growth of the clusters. For some n + m isomers the second layer appears before the first octahedral layer is fully formed. For example, the square planar Ni(2+)-(H(2)O)(4) core originates two-dimensional 4 + 2 and 4 + 4 isomers, where each outer water molecule accepts two H-bonds, lying 2.0 kcal/mol above the 6 and 6 + 2 ground states. The clusters were also studied by IR spectra; the OH stretching vibrational frequencies allowed us to identify the outer solvation shells by the presence of red-shifted hydrogen bond regions.  相似文献

应用密度泛函理论BP86 方法研究具有分子导线潜在应用的金属串配合物(n, m)[Cr3(PhPyF)4Cl2](HPhPyF=N, N'-苯基吡啶基甲脒; n=2, 3, 4; m=2, 1, 0)的配位结构及其受电场作用的影响, n、m分别表示PhPyF-的苯环在左侧和在右侧的配体个数. 结果表明: (1) 零电场下, 四个PhPyF-的(2, 2)、(3, 1)和(4, 0)三种配位方式能量差别很小, 为竞争态, (2, 2)最稳定. (4, 0)结构中两端轴向配体Cl 均可与Cr 配位, 且Cl4―Cr1 键比Cl5―Cr3键更强, 若作为分子器件可与电极结合, 这与(4, 0)[CuCuM(npa)4Cl][PF6](M=Pd, Pt; Hnpa=2-萘啶苯胺)靠近苯环一端的轴向配体无法与M配位不同. (2) 在(2, 2)、(3, 1)和(4, 0)中, Cr36+链均具有三中心三电子离域σ键, 但离域性逐渐减弱. 随四个PhPyF-配位方式趋于一致, 分子极性逐渐增大, 由Cl4指向Cl5(Z)方向, Cr1的α自旋密度增大, Cr2 的β和Cr3 的α自旋密度减小. (3) 分子的几何结构和电子结构在电场下发生规律性变化, 在-Z方向电场作用下, (3, 1)、(4, 0)电子移动方向与极性方向相同, 使分子的键长、自旋密度、电荷和能隙变化显著性均大于Z方向电场, 且极性越大变化越显著, 有利于提高分子导电性.  相似文献

Summary.  The van der Pauw method has been applied to conductivity relaxation experiments on YBa2Cu3O6+δ at 600°C in order to determine the chemical diffusion coefficient as a function of the oxygen partial pressure in the surrounding atmosphere (100 > p O 2/bar > 10−3). It is shown that the van der Pauw technique is suitable for monitoring the conductivity relaxation when the oxygen diffusion is perpendicular to the direct current flowing through the sample in accordance with the van der Pauw geometry using thin tablets as samples. The oxygen partial pressure is changed stepwise (generally Δlogp O 2 ≤ 0.5) by employing appropriate gas mixtures as well as an electrochemical oxygen pump device. An evaluation formula is given for the determination of the chemical diffusion coefficient neglecting slow surface processes. In addition, the electronic conductivity of YBa2Cu3O6+δ has been measured at 600°C as a function of oxygen partial pressure of the ambient atmosphere (100 > p O 2/bar > 10−5) by means of the van der Pauw method applying the same experimental set-up. Typical values of the chemical diffusion coefficient are in the range of 10−6 cm2·s−1; the results of the conductivity measurements are interpreted in terms of an appropriate defect model. 用MP2/LanL2DZ方法优化C(AuPH3)4[1a(C4v); 1b(Td)], [C(AuPH3)5]+[2a(C3h); 2b(Cs)]以及[C(AuPH3)6}]2+[3a(C2h); 3b(C2v)]的结构, 得到的几何参数与实验值相符. MP2水平下的自然键轨道(Natural bond orbitals, NBO)分析表明, Au具有d(sp)杂化性质, 其中(sp)具有s-p混合的轨道性质; 沿C-Au辐射方向形成的σ键和切向Au-Au之间的弱吸引相互作用使得整个分子稳定. 化合物1a, 2和3具有2或3个二电子三中心键, 表明该类化合物具有与传统C化学不同的电子结构和立体化学构型.  相似文献
