We consider a linear integral equation with a hypersingular integral treated in the sense of the Hadamard finite value. This equation arises in the solution of the Neumann boundary value problem for the Laplace equation with a representation of a solution in the form of a double-layer potential. We consider the case in which the interior or exterior boundary value problem is solved in a domain; whose boundary is a smooth closed surface, and an integral equation is written out on that surface. For the integral operator in that equation, we suggest quadrature formulas like the method of vortical frames with a regularization, which provides its approximation on the entire surface for the use of a nonstructured partition. We construct a numerical scheme for the integral equation on the basis of suggested quadrature formulas, prove an estimate for the norm of the inverse matrix of the related system of linear equations and the uniform convergence of numerical solutions to the exact solution of the hypersingular integral equation on the grid.  相似文献

In this paper, the Reissner-Sagoci problem for a half-space with a surface constraint is considered. The problem is reduced to the triple integral equation by use of integral transforms. The triple integral equations are solved for small values of parameters characterizing the geometry of the problem. An expression for the torque required to rotate the disc through a fixed angle is obtained.  相似文献

The main object of the present paper is to derive a formula for the q-Hahn.polynomials by using the q-Mehler formula about the q-Hermite polynomials.This result, together with other properties of the q-Hermite polynomials, provides an evalution of a q-beta integral.Both the celebrated Askey-Wilson integral and the Ismail-Stanton-Viennot integral are special cases of this integral.  相似文献

We present a new approach to a concept of a set-valued stochastic integral with respect to semimartingales. Such an integral, called set-valued stochastic up-trajectory integral, is compatible with the decomposition of the semimartingale. Some properties of this integral are stated. We show applicability of the new integral in set-valued stochastic integral equations driven by multidimensional semimartingales. The uniqueness theorem is presented. Then we extend the notion of the set-valued stochastic up-trajectory integral to definition of a fuzzy stochastic up-trajectory integral with respect to semimartingales. A result on uniqueness of a solution to fuzzy stochastic integral equations incorporating the new fuzzy stochastic up-trajectory integral driven by the multidimensional semimartingale is stated.  相似文献

We study the solvability of a complete two-dimensional linear hypersingular integral equation that contains a hypersingular integral operator in which the integral is understood in the sense of Hadamard finite value as well as an integral operator in which the integral is understood in the sense of principal value, an integral operator with a weakly singular kernel, and an integral-free term. We consider smooth solutions in the class of functions that have Hölder continuous derivatives outside a neighborhood of the boundary. We prove the Fredholm alternative and estimate the norm of the solution in a special metric.  相似文献

An investigation of a boundary-value problem on a half-line for a nonlinear ordinary second order differential equation whose free term has a discontinuity in a strip. A method is proposed for the transformation of the boundary-value problem into an integral equation with a discontinuous operator. A symmetrical rigid body with a spherical base, carrying a rotor and having a cavity in the shape of an ellipsoid of revolution, completely filled with an ideal incompressible liquid in uniform vortex motion, is moving along an absolutely rough plane. It is shown that this system admits of an energy integral, Jellett's integral, the integral of constant vorticity and a geometric integral. The construction of a Lyapunov function as a linear combination of first integrals [1] yields the sufficient conditions for the rotation of the gyrostat about the vertically positioned axis of symmetry to be stable. The conditions for the gyrostat's rotation to be unstable are found. It is shown that the rotor may prove to have either a stabilizing or destabilizing effect on the system and that the gyrostat admits of motions of the type of regular precession. The sufficient conditions for the stability of these motions are obtained.  相似文献

We consider a nonlinear system of integral equations describing the structure of a plane shock wave. Based on physical reasoning, we propose an iterative method for constructing an approximate solution of this system. The problem reduces to studying decoupled scalar nonlinear and linear integral equations for the gas temperature, density, and velocity. We formulate a theorem on the existence of a positive bounded solution of a nonlinear equation of the Uryson type. We also prove theorems on the existence and uniqueness of bounded positive solutions for linear integral equations in the space L 1[?r, r] for all finite r < +∞. For a more general nonlinear integral equation, we prove a theorem on the existence of a positive solution and also find a lower bound and an integral upper bound for the constructed solution.  相似文献

We derive and analyze two equivalent integral formulations for the time-harmonic electromagnetic scattering by a dielectric object. One is a volume integral equation (VIE) with a strongly singular kernel and the other one is a coupled surface-volume system of integral equations with weakly singular kernels. The analysis of the coupled system is based on standard Fredholm integral equations, and it is used to derive properties of the volume integral equation.  相似文献

In this paper we consider a particular class of two-dimensional singular Volterra integral equations. Firstly we show that these integral equations can indeed arise in practice by considering a diffusion problem with an output flux which is nonlocal in time; this problem is shown to admit an analytic solution in the form of an integral. More crucially, the problem can be re-characterized as an integral equation of this particular class. This example then provides motivation for a more general study: an analytic solution is obtained for the case when the kernel and the forcing function are both unity. This analytic solution, in the form of a series solution, is a variant of the Mittag-Leffler function. As a consequence it is an entire function. A Gronwall lemma is obtained. This then permits a general existence and uniqueness theorem to be proved.  相似文献

We study the numerical solution of a linear hypersingular integral equation arising when solving the Neumann boundary value problem for the Laplace equation by the boundary integral equation method with the solution represented in the form of a double layer potential. The integral in this equation is understood in the sense of Hadamard finite value. We construct quadrature formulas for the integral occurring in this equation based on a triangulation of the surface and an application of the linear approximation to the unknown function on each of the triangles approximating the surface. We prove the uniform convergence of the quadrature formulas at the interpolation nodes as the triangulation size tends to zero. A numerical solution scheme for this integral equation based on the suggested quadrature formulas and the collocation method is constructed. Under additional assumptions about the shape of the surface, we prove a uniform estimate for the error in the numerical solution at the interpolation nodes.  相似文献

Cauchy singular integral operators are characterized as operators in a weighted L2-space. The integral operator arises from a singular integral equation with variable coefficients. An appropriate weight function associated with the singular integral operator is constructed, and the set of polynomials orthogonal with respect to this weight function is defined. The action of the operator on polynomial sets is studied, and the definition of the operator is extended to a weighted L2-space. In this space, the operator is shown to be bounded, and, in some cases, isometric. Formulas are developed for the composition of the singular integral operator and its one sided inverse.  相似文献

A numerical scheme has been constructed for solving a linear hypersingular integral equation on a segment with the integral treated in the sense of the Hadamard principle value by the method of piecewise linear approximations on an arbitrary nonuniform grid, with the hypersingular integral being regularized by approximating the unknown function with a constant in a small neighborhood of the singular point. The radius of the neighborhood can be chosen independently of the grid pitch, the latter understood as the maximum distance between the nodes. The uniform convergence of the obtained numerical solutions to the exact solution is proved as the grid pitch and the radius of the neighborhood in which the regularization is performed simultaneously tend to zero.  相似文献

A chronological integral is a generalization of the path integral when the values of the measure or integrated function do not commute with each other. Two definitions of a chronological integral over the space of functions with a real argument are formulated. Measures and integrated functions have not commuting matrix values.
