The application of elastoplastic material models is commonly used for the modelling of adhesive layers with high strength adhesives as realized with polyurethane or epoxy resin. To fulfill thermodynamic consistency often restrictions on the choice of material parameters are requested. One of them is the introduction of a non-associated flow rule, which always ensures positive dissipation. Nevertheless, this assumption is a non-essential criterion, which will be addressed in this work. Continuing along this argumentation, the constitutive relations for the material is modified based on an associated flow rule. The applied model for the simulation of the adhesives is based on a small strain theory. A yield surface including two stress invariants, the hydrostatic pressure as well as the deviator stress state, set the elastic limit of the material response. Linear as well as exponential hardening is incorporated and material softening that arises subsequently is also included by substituting effective invariants in the yield function. This material model as proposed from literature was extended to finite strain application with the concept of generalized stress-strain-measure, which was realized in a previous work. The non-(quasi)convexity of the free energy of single crystals in finite elasto-plasticity gives rise to the formation of fine-scale fluctuations of the displacement field, which can be interpreted as material microstructures. We outline a numerical procedure to model the origin and subsequent evolution of laminate microstructures. This paper discusses a portfolio selection problem in which security returns are given by experts’ evaluations instead of historical data. A factor method for evaluating security returns based on experts’ judgment is proposed and a mean-chance model for optimal portfolio selection is developed taking transaction costs and investors’ preference on diversification and investment limitations on certain securities into account. The factor method of evaluation can make good use of experts’ knowledge on the effects of economic environment and the companies’ unique characteristics on security returns and incorporate the contemporary relationship of security returns in the portfolio. The use of chance of portfolio return failing to reach the threshold can help investors easily tell their tolerance toward risk and thus facilitate a decision making. To solve the proposed nonlinear programming problem, a genetic algorithm is provided. To illustrate the application of the proposed method, a numerical example is also presented.  相似文献

Procedures are developed that improve the applicability of the finite difference method to problems in solid mechanics. This is accomplished by formulating the coefficients of the Taylor series expansion used to approximate derivative quantities in terms of physically interpretable strain gradients. Improvements realized include modeling of boundary conditions that has intuitive appeal and the use of irregular grids in a natural manner. These developments are demonstrated for the analysis of plane stress problems with traction boundary conditions. The results compare well with finite element solutions. The approach suggests further generalization of the finite difference method.  相似文献

In this work, the way in which fuzzy uncertainty in a model's output is apportioned to fuzzy uncertainty in model inputs is studied through a sensitivity analysis. Here, an optimization technique is employed to obtain the membership functions of the fuzzy structural response, for which a global sensitivity indicator is introduced to measure the influence of fuzzy input uncertainty on fuzzy output uncertainty. The global sensitivity indicator is the important measure of the fuzzy input uncertainty, which extends Borgonovo's measure. In this study, the mathematical properties of the important measure of the fuzzy input uncertainty are discussed and proved. The results of numerical examples and engineering examples show that the proposed importance measure can effectively describe the effect of fuzzy input uncertainty on fuzzy structural response. When the sensitivity indicator is larger, the basic fuzzy-valued variable becomes more important. The sensitivity indicators of the fuzzy structural response can give an essential importance sequence of all the basic fuzzy-valued variables and identify key contributing fuzzy-valued variables. The sensitivity indicators can provide the availability guidance to reduce the number of basic variables and optimize the fuzzy response model.  相似文献

We study iterated function systems (IFSs) of contractive similitudes on Rd with overlaps. We introduce a generalized finite type condition which extends a more restrictive condition in [S.-M. Ngai, Y. Wang, Hausdorff dimension of self-similar sets with overlaps, J. London Math. Soc. (2) 63 (3) (2001) 655-672] and allows us to include some IFSs of contractive similitudes whose contraction ratios are not exponentially commensurable. We show that the generalized finite type condition implies the weak separation property. Under this condition, we can identify the attractor of the IFS with that of a graph-directed IFS, and by modifying a setup of Mauldin and Williams [R.D. Mauldin, S.C. Williams, Hausdorff dimension in graph directed constructions, Trans. Amer. Math. Soc. 309 (1988) 811-829], we can compute the Hausdorff dimension of the attractor in terms of the spectral radius of certain weighted incidence matrix.  相似文献

This contribution deals with a stress-displacement mixed finite element formulation for elasto-plasticity within the framework of small deformations based on the Prange-Hellinger-Reissner (PHR) functional. The interpolations for the displacements are given by standard Lagrangian shape functions and a 5-parameter discontinuous interpolation is introduced for the stresses which was published by [1]. Based on the principle of maximum plastic dissipation the flow rule and hardening law will be derived by regarding a von Mises yield criterion, see [2]. In contrast to [3], we apply a point-wise enforcement of the flow rule, hardening law and loading/unloading conditions. Let A be a subgroup of a finite group G. We say that A is a generalized CAP-subgroup of G if for each chief factor H/K of G either A avoids H/K or the following holds:(1) If H/K is non-abelian, then|H :(A ∩H)K | is a p′-number for every p ∈π((A ∩H)K/K);(2) If H/K is a p-group, then |G : NG(K(A ∩H))| is a p-number. In this paper, we use the generalized CAP-subgroup to characterize the structure of finite groups.Some new characterizations of the hypercyclically embedded subgroups of a finite group are obtained and a series of known results are generalized.  相似文献

It is proved that the variety of relevant disjunction lattices has the finite embeddability property. It follows that Avron's relevance logic RMI min has a strong form of the finite model property, so it has a solvable deducibility problem. This strengthens Avron's result that RMI min is decidable.
