Some properties of Riesz potential associated with SchrSdinger operator

Let L = −Δ + V be the Schr?dinger operator on ℝ ^d , d ≥ 3, where Δ is the Laplacian on ℝ ^d and V ≢ 0 is a nonnegative function satisfying the reverse H?lder inequality. In this article, the author investigates some properties of the Riesz potential I _α ^L associated with L on the Campanato-type spaces Λ _L ^β and the Hardy-type spaces H _L ^p .     

Generalized Bessel and Riesz Potentials on Metric Measure Spaces

We introduce generalized Bessel and Riesz potentials on metric measure spaces and the corresponding potential spaces. Estimates of the Bessel and Riesz kernels are given which reflect the intrinsic structure of the spaces. Finally, we state the relationship between Bessel (or Riesz) operators and subordinate semigroups.

On Relations Between Bessel Potential Spaces and Riesz Potential Spaces

We present a relation between the Bessel potential spaces and the Riesz potential spaces. The ideas of the proof are to characterize each potential spaces and to give a correspondence between individual Bessel potentials and Riesz potentials.     

Heat kernel estimates for the Bessel differential operator in half‐line

In the paper we consider the Bessel differential operator in half‐line , , and its Dirichlet heat kernel . For , by combining analytical and probabilistic methods, we provide sharp two‐sided estimates of the heat kernel for the whole range of the space parameters and every , which complements the recent results given in 1 , where the case was considered.     

Characterization of the variable exponent Bessel potential spaces via the Poisson semigroup

Under the standard assumptions on the variable exponent p(x) (log- and decay conditions), we give a characterization of the variable exponent Bessel potential space Bα[Lp(⋅)(Rn)] in terms of the rate of convergence of the Poisson semigroup Pt. We show that the existence of the Riesz fractional derivative Dαf in the space Lp(⋅)(Rn) is equivalent to the existence of the limit . In the pre-limiting case we show that the Bessel potential space is characterized by the condition ‖α(I−Pε)f_‖p(⋅)≦Cεα.     

Generation of analytic semigroups by generalized Ornstein-Uhlenbeck operators with potentials

It is shown that the generalized Ornstein-Uhlenbeck operator “with potential” AΦ,G,Vu:=Δu−∇Φ⋅∇u+G⋅∇u−Vu with suitable domain generates an analytic semigroup on the weighted space Lp(RN,μ), 1<p<∞, where . The result extends the generation theorem established by Metafune-Prüss-Rhandi-Schnaubelt when V≡0 to the case where V?0, while the proof is based on their useful theorem that a class of second order elliptic operators generates an analytic semigroup on the unweighted space Lp(RN).     

Calderon reproducing formula associated with the Gegenbauer operator on the half-line

In this paper, we introduce the generalized shift operator generated by the Gegenbauer differential operator , and define a generalized convolution ⊗ on the half-line corresponding to the Gegenbauer differential operator. We investigate the Calderon reproducing formula associated with the convolution ⊗ involving finite Borel measures, leading to results on the Lp-norm and pointwise approximation for functions on the half-line.

We investigate the action of a class of operator semigroups on generalized functions of almost exponential growth, proving that these generalized functions are admissible initial conditions for the associated heat equation.     

Generation of the integrated semigroups by superelliptic differential operators

Let A be a superelliptic differential operator of order 2m introduced by E.B. Davies [E.B. Davies, Uniformly elliptic operators with measurable coefficients, J. Funct. Anal. 132 (1995) 141-169]. In the case of 2m>N, he obtained the upper Gaussian bound of the integral kernel representing (e−zA)_z∈C+ and the estimates of the Lp-operator norm of the semigroup for all p∈[1,∞). The purpose of the present paper is to show that −i(A+k) (for some constant k>0) generates an integrated semigroup on Lα,p (weighted Lp space) and lp(Lα,q). To prove this we need norm estimates of (e−zA)_z∈C+ on each of these spaces. Also we get another norm estimate of (e−zA)_z∈C+ on Lp when 2m>N without using the integral kernel. This norm estimate is better than that in [E.B. Davies, Uniformly elliptic operators with measurable coefficients, J. Funct. Anal. 132 (1995) 141-169] and gives a better “times of the integration” of the integrated semigroup.     

Inversion of potential-type operators with symbols degenerate on hyperboloids and paraboloids

The method of approximative inverse operators is applied to the inversion of certain potential-type operators with symbols degenerate on hyperboloids or paraboloids. Using this method, the inversion is constructed as the limit of a sequence of convolutions with summable kernels that are expressed in terms of elementary or special functions.     

Maximal operators, Riesz transforms and Littlewood-Paley functions associated with Bessel operators on BMO

In this paper we study boundedness properties of certain harmonic analysis operators (maximal operators for heat and Poisson semigroups, Riesz transforms and Littlewood-Paley g-functions) associated with Bessel operators, on the space BMOo(R) that consists of the odd functions with bounded mean oscillation on R.     

Convolution structure associated with the Jacobi-Dunkl operator on IR

On the bands of the Schrödinger operator with a matrix potential

In this article, we consider the one-dimensional Schrödinger operator $L(Q)$ with a Hermitian periodic $m\times m$ matrix potential Q. We investigate the bands and gaps of the spectrum and prove that most of the positive real axis is overlapped by m bands. Moreover, we find a condition on the potential Q for which the number of gaps in the spectrum of $L(Q)$ is finite.
