Chemical investigation of an Okinawan marine sponge resulted in the isolation of two new spongian-class diterpenes 1 and 2 together with two known compounds, chromodorolide B (3) and chromodorolide C (4). Compound 1, named chromodorolide D, is an example of a diterpenoid with a highly rearranged chromodorane carbon skeleton, while compound 2 retains the open side chains. The structures of the new compounds were elucidated on the basis of extensive spectroscopic analysis and chemical conversion. Compounds 1–4 exhibited significant cytotoxicity against NBT-T2 rat bladder epithelial cells.  相似文献

Chemical examination of the marine sponge Iotrochota baculifera of the Indian Ocean furnished a sphingolipid (1), a new glycosphingolipid (iotroridoside-B, 2) and a four-component mixture of sphingolipids (3a-d) with two new components. Three new sulfated meroterpenoids containing sesquiterpene and hydroquinone moieties, namely siphonodictyal A sulfate (1), akadisulfate A (2) and akadisulfate B (3), along with the known siphonodictyal B3 and bis(sulfato)-cyclosiphonodictyol A were isolated from the sponge Aka coralliphaga. Their structures were elucidated on the basis of spectroscopic data. Akadisulfate B and siphonodictyal B3 showed a radical-scavenging activity comparable with that of the known lipophylic antioxidant BHT.  相似文献

New cerebrosides containing N-acetylglucosamine were isolated from the marine sponge Oceanapia sp. Some of them contain n-and iso-C18-and iso-C19-phytosphingosines N-acylated by n-C16:0, n-C17:0, and n-C18:0 fatty acids, some other are derivatives of iso-and anteiso-C17-,-C18-, and-C19-phytosphingosines N-acylated by long-chain (C24-C28) α-hydroxy acids. Chemical investigation of the marine sponge Agelas sp. collected from the South China Sea resulted in the isolation of four new dimeric bromopyrrole alkaloids, including hexazosceptrin (1) with a rare cyclohexane-fused-cyclobutane skeleton, agelestes A and B (2–3), the sceptrin analogues without any aminoimidazole substitution, and (9S, 10R, 9′S, 10′R)-nakamuric acid (4), of which the absolute configuration was confirmed for the first time. The structure elucidation and absolute configuration assignments were unambiguously determined via extensive spectroscopic analyses and the comparison of experimental and calculated electronic circular dichroic spectra. Compounds 1 and 4 exhibited moderate antimicrobial activity.  相似文献

Three new spirocyclic sesquiterpenes designated exiguamide (1), exicarbamate (2) and exigurin (3), together with (−)-10-epi-axisonitrile-3 (4), have been isolated from the marine sponge Geodia exigua. All four compounds possess the spiro[4.5]decene skeleton and their structures were determined on the basis of spectroscopic data. The structure of 1 was confirmed by X-ray crystallographic analysis and the absolute configuration was determined by applying the modified Mosher's method on its amine derivative. Exiguamide (1) inhibited cell fate specification during sea urchin embryogenesis at a minimum inhibitory concentration of 0.4 μM.  相似文献

Seven new bromotyrosine alkaloids Purpurealidin A, B, C, D, F, G, H and the known compounds Purealidin Q, Purpurealidin E, 16-Debromoaplysamine-4 and Purpuramine I have been isolated from the marine sponge Psammaplysilla purpurea. Their structure was elucidated on the basis of detailed 1D, 2D NMR and MS spectroscopic data. Purpurealidin B, 16-Debromoaplysamine-4 and Purpuramine I exhibited in vitro antimicrobial activities against E. coli, S. aureus, and V. cholerae. In addition, Purpurealidin B and 16-Debromoaplysamine-4 were also active against Shigella flexineri and Salmonella typhi while Purealidin Q was bactericidal only against Salmonella typhi.  相似文献

New brominated fatty acids (3, 5-8, 10) and new sterol esters (14-16) have been isolated from an unidentified marine sponge collected in Papua New Guinea. The new plakortide Q (1) has been isolated from the little studied marine sponge Plakortis zyggompha, together with the six new cyclic peroxide analogues 2-7 in their methyl ester forms 2a-7a. Their structure was fully elucidated through NMR and MS analyses and the relative stereochemistry of the 1,2-dioxane ring was established after interpretation of the coupling constant values and the NOESY data. The carboxylic acid function of these compounds was proved to be very reactive and methylation was found to take place during the purification process. The non-esterified peroxides exhibited more cytotoxic activity against human tumor cell lines than their corresponding methyl esters.  相似文献

Chemical investigation of the dichloromethane extract of the Red Sea marine sponge Lamellodysidea herbacea led to the isolation of seven new polychlorinated derivatives 3-6 and 8-10 in addition to the known dysidamide 1, dysidamide B 2 and dysidamide C 7. Their structures were established by extensive NMR spectroscopic data. The absolute configuration of compound 9 was determined by X-ray crystallographic diffraction analysis. Dysidamide 1 exhibited neurotoxic effects towards both mesencephalic and cortical murine neurones at 0.8 μg/ml.  相似文献
