用钕铁硼(NdFeB)永磁材料构建"魔环"结构的永磁体,向直拉硅生长的熔体所在空间引入磁场,采用回转振荡法测量不同磁场强度下硅熔体的有效黏度(磁黏度).在温度一定时,测得的磁黏度随着磁场强度的增加而增加,二者呈抛物线关系.熔硅温度升高,磁场影响加剧.1490—1610℃温度区间内,磁黏度有异常变化.当引入磁场强度为0068T时,熔硅有效黏度比原黏度增加2—3个数量级,证明引入磁场是硅单晶大直径生长时,抑制熔硅热对流的有效手段. 关键词: 硅熔体 有效(磁)黏度 魔环永磁体 回转振荡法  相似文献

The effect of interparticle forces on shear thinning in concentrated aqueous and nonaqueous colloidal suspensions was studied using nonequilibrium Brownian dynamics. Hydrodynamic interactions among particles were neglected. Systems of 108 particles were studied at volume fractions of 0.2 and 0.4. For the nonaqueous systems, shear thinning could be correlated with the gradual breakup of small flocs present because of the weak, attractive secondary minimum in the interparticle potential. At the highest shear rate for=0.4, the particles were organized into a hexagonally packed array of strings. For the strongly repulsive aqueous systems, the viscosity appeared to be a discontinuous function of the shear rate. For=0.4, this discontinuity coincided with a transition from a disordered state to a lamellar structure for the suspension.  相似文献

The constitutive equation of a concentrated suspension of spherical particles in a Newtonian medium is derived. To this end the method of local volume averaging is employed. To calculate the contribution of the particles to the stress tensor it is assumed that the stress generated in the interstitial holes between the particles is negligible compared to the stress generated in !he narrow gaps separating the particles. The use of the resulting expression is demonstrated with two examples on a cubical arrangement of particles: pure shear and simple shear. Furthermore, the validity of the lubrication approximation employed in this work is checked against the results derived by Nunan and Keller for periodic suspensions.  相似文献

The asymptotic frequency, , dependence of the dynamic viscosity of neutral hard-sphere colloidal suspensions is shown to be of the form 0A()(p)-1/2, whereA() has been determined as a function of the volume fraction , for all concentrations in the fluid range, 0 is the solvent viscosity, and p is the Péclet time. For a soft potential it is shown that, to leading order in the steepness, the asymptotic behavior is the same as that for the hard-sphere potential and a condition for the crossover behavior to 1/p, is given. Our result for the hardsphere potential generalizes a result of Cichocki and Felderhof obtained at low concentrations and agrees well with the experiments of van der Werffet al. if the usual Stokes-Einstein diffusion coefficientD 0 in the Smoluchowski operator is consistently replaced by the short-time self-diffusion coefficientD s() for nondilute colloidal suspensions.  相似文献

This paper investigates the effective eddy viscosity inferred from direct numerical simulations of decaying stratified and non-stratified turbulence. It is shown that stratification affects the horizontal eddy viscosity dramatically, by increasing non-local energy transfer between large and small horizontal scales. This non-local horizontal energy transfer is around 20% of the local horizontal energy transfer at the cutoff wavenumber kc = 40. The non-local horizontal energy transfer occurs at large vertical wavenumbers, which may be larger than the buoyancy wavenumber kb = N/urms, where N is the buoyancy frequency and urms is the root-mean-square velocity. By increasing the value of the test cutoff wavenumber kc from large scales to the dissipation range, the non-local horizontal eddy viscosity decreases and the local eddy viscosity is dominant. Overall, the presence of stratification can significantly change the features of subgrid-scale (SGS) motions. Current SGS models should, therefore, be modified for use in large-eddy simulation of stratified turbulence.  相似文献

A new approach to transport processes in dense charged as well as neutral colloidal suspensions is presented. It is based on a far-reaching analogy between dense colloidal suspensions and dense hard-sphere fluids, implying, in turn, an analogy with atomic liquids. The rheology of nanofiber suspensions is studied solving numerically the Population Balance Equations (PBE). To account for the anisotropic nature of nanofibers, a relation is proposed for their hydrodynamic volume. The suspension viscosity is calculated using the computed aggregate size distributions together with the Krieger-Dougherty constitutive equation. The model is fitted to experimental flow curves for Carbon NanoFibers (CNF) and for NanoFibrillated Cellulose (NFC), giving a first estimation of the microscopic anisotropy parameter, and yielding information on the structural properties and rheology of each system.  相似文献

An effective medium scheme is developed to estimate the elastic moduli of two-dimensional macroscopically isotropic suspensions of compound inclusions in a continuous matrix material. The two-phase (coated) compound inclusions are substituted by equivalent one-phase inclusions, using dilute solution results. Then, the available effective medium approximations and bounds are applied to the equivalent medium with homogeneous inclusions. Numerical fast Fourier transform simulations in some benchmark examples are compared favourably with the predictions of the scheme.  相似文献

The lattice Boltzmann method, an alternative approach to solving a fluid flow system, is used to analyze the dynamics of particles suspended in fluid. The interaction rule between the fluid and the suspended particles is developed for real suspensions where the particle boundaries are treated as no-slip impermeable surfaces. This method correctly and accurately determines the dynamics of single particles and multi-particles suspended in the fluid. With this method, computational time scales linearly with the number of suspensions,N, a significant advantage over other computational techniques which solve the continuum mechanics equations, where the computational time scales asN 3. Also, this method solves the full momentum equations, including the inertia terms, and therefore is not limited to low particle Reynolds number.  相似文献

悬浮液凝固是将固体颗粒均匀分散于液体中,并对液体进行凝固.它涉及冷冻铸造法多孔材料制备、冻土冻胀、海上浮冰、生物组织冷藏等多个学科和领域.近年来通过悬浮液凝固的方法,人们相继开发出了众多性能优异的新材料,这更为悬浮液凝固的研究注入了新的活力.悬浮液凝固过程中存在众多不同于传统合金凝固的独特现象,如颗粒密堆层、层片晶组织、周期性冰透镜体组织等,但这些凝固微观组织的形成机理尚不清楚.揭示颗粒对悬浮液凝固界面形态演化的影响机理,建立悬浮液体系的凝固理论,不仅帮助人们理解冻土冻胀等自然现象,也为高性能材料的制备与开发提供理论依据.本文首先回顾了悬浮液凝固的研究历史,然后对当前悬浮液凝固微观组织及颗粒动态堆积等方面的研究进展进行述评,并简要介绍本课题组近年来在悬浮液凝固方面的工作进展,最后对悬浮液凝固研究的未来发展进行了展望.  相似文献

Weakly bound states often occur in nuclear physics. To precisely understand their properties, the coupling to the continuum should be worked out explicitly. As the first step, we use a simple nuclear model in the continuum and on a lattice to investigate the influence of a third particle on a loosely bound state of a particle and a heavy core. The paper deals with a theoretical study of influence of magnetic field on effective viscosity of suspension of non-Brownian magnetizable particles. It is supposed that experimentally observed magnetorheological effects are provided by chain-like aggregates, consisting of the particles. Unlike previous works on this subject, we take into account that the chains cannot be identical and estimate their size distribution. The following power law (η-η0)/η0Mn-Δ, detected in many experiments, is obtained theoretically (η and η0 are the suspension effective viscosity and the carrier liquid viscosity, respectively, Mn is the so-called Mason number, proportional to the shear rate and inversely proportional to the square of magnetic field). The calculated magnitude of the exponent Δ increases with the applied magnetic field from approximately 0.66 to 0.8-0.9 and slowly increases with the volume concentration ? of the particles. These results are in agreement with known experiments.  相似文献

Although the factors that influence ultrasonic cavitation erosion in solid particle suspensions have been extensively studied, the role that solid particles play in the cavitation process remains poorly understood. The ultrasonic cavitation erosion of AISI 1045 carbon steel was studied in the presence of monodisperse silica particles (10–100 μm, 0.5–20 vol%) suspended in transformer oil. Based on our results, we propose an overview of the possible influencing mechanisms of particle addition for specific particle sizes and concentrations. Four major regimes, namely a viscosity-enhancing regime (V), a particle-impinging regime (I), a particle-shielding regime (S), and a nuclei-adding regime (A) are identified, and their dependence on suspended particle characteristics is analyzed. The VISA regimes, in essence, reflect the viscous and inertial effects of suspended particles, and the way in which particle–particle interactions and heterogeneous nucleation affect erosion. This regime-based framework provides a better understanding of the dominant factors controlling the erosive wear caused by cavitation in the presence of solid particles, and provides a guide for erosion prediction and prevention.  相似文献

It is expected that incorporating the center symmetry in the conventional dimensionally reduced effective theory for high-temperature SU(Nc) Yang-Mills theory, EQCD, will considerably extend its applicability towards the deconfinement transition. The construction of such a center-symmetric effective theory for the case of two colors is reviewed and lattice simulation results are presented. The simulations demonstrate that unlike EQCD, the new center-symmetric theory undergoes a second order confining phase transition in complete analogy with the full theory.  相似文献

For three different types of polymer latex particles with widely different particle charges the structure of suspensions before and after crystallization is investigated. A liquid-like ordered state was achieved by shear melting crystal-like ordered samples. The structure factors S(Q) of the liquid-like suspensions are analyzed in terms of the resealed mean spherical approximation (RMSA) of Hansen and Hayter. The Bragg diffraction pattern of the crystallized samples shows that the structure is b.c.c. It is found that the particle number concentration n and the distance of nearest neighbours in corresponding liquid- and crystal-like states differ by less than 4 %.

In the second part of the paper, Bragg diffraction was used to determine the crystallite size distribution in samples of different particle concentration.  相似文献

利用多相场模型模拟了液-固两相体系中固相颗粒的粗化过程, 分析了界面润湿性及固相体积分数对粗化指数、粗化速率及颗粒尺寸分布的影响.结果表明, 不同固相体积分数下粗化指数基本不变, 但粗化速率常数及尺寸分布与固相体积分数及界面润湿性密切相关.在完全润湿条件下, 随着固相体积分数的增加, 粗化速率常数逐渐增大; 而非完全润湿条件下, 随着固相体积分数的增加, 粗化速率常数增大速度变缓, 且当润湿性较低、 固相分数较大时, 粗化速率常数还将随体积分数的增加而下降. 此外, 模拟结果表明各种润湿条件下颗粒的尺寸分布均随着固相分数增加而变宽, 分布峰值降低, 但非完全润湿条件下峰值下降变缓.模拟结果为理解不同实验观测结果之间的分歧提供了依据. 关键词: 粗化 相转变 相场法 润湿性  相似文献
