Abstract  The monoligand complexes of the formula M(HPLGT)(NCS)2 (M = Cu(II), Zn(II)) in which the ligand tridentate ONO pyridoxilidene Girard-T hydrazone, [H3PLGT]Cl2 · 2H2O, was coordinated in neutral doubly deprotonated form were synthesized. Also, the first complexes with the ligand coordinated in triply deprotonated monoanionic form of the formula [Cu(PLGT)N3] and [Co(PLGT)(NO2)2NH3] · 3H2O are reported. The single crystal X-ray analysis of [Cu(HPLGT)(NCS)2] showed that Cu(II) is placed in a square-pyramidal surrounding consisting of one tridentate Schiff base and one NCS group in the basal plane and the other NCS group in the apical position. Intermolecular hydrogen bonds leading to centrosymmetrical dimerization of these complexes were discussed. In the reaction of Girard-T and Hacac in the presence of CuCl2, a mixture of single crystal complexes of the composition [Cu(3,5-Me2pz)2Cl2]2 and [Cu(acac)2] · 2[Cu(3,5-Me2pz)2Cl2] was obtained and X-ray analysis of the latter one was reported. Index abstract  Crystal structure of the Cu(II) complex with pyridoxilidene Girard-T hydrazone was analyzed. Additional two Cu(II) complexes obtained by the reaction of Girard-T reagent and Hacac in the presence of CuCl2 were also studied by single crystal X-ray analysis.   相似文献

The reaction of equimolar quantities of trans-[ReOCl3(PPh3)2] and 8-hydroxyquinoline (Hhqn) in benzene led to the isolation of the six-coordinate complex [ReOCl2(hqn)(PPh3)] (1). With 2-pyridine-ethanol (Hhep) the compound [ReOCl2(hep)(PPh3)] (2) was obtained. Both hqn and hep ligands act as monoanionic bidentate N,O-donor chelates. Although the two complexes are very similar, there are some significant differences in certain bond distances and angles in them. Both complexes contain the nearly linear trans O=Re–O axis, with this angle equal to 160.9(2)° and 167.8(1)° in 1 and 2, respectively.  相似文献

Three new mononuclear Schiff-base complexes, namely [Mn(L)Cl] (1), [Ni(L)] (2), and [Cu(L)] (3), where L?=?anion of [N,N′-bis(2-hydroxybenzophenylidene)]propane-1,2-diamine, have been synthesized by reacting equimolar amounts of the respective metal chloride and the tetradentate Schiff base, H2L, in methanol. The complexes have been characterized by microanalytical, spectroscopic, single-crystal X-ray diffraction, and other physicochemical studies. Structural studies reveal that 1 adopts a distorted square-pyramidal geometry whereas 2 and 3 are isotypic with distorted square-planar geometries. The antibacterial activities of 13 along with their Schiff base have been tested against some Gram(+) and Gram(?) bacteria.  相似文献

Poly(propylene imine) dendrimers having 8, 32, and 64 primary amine end groups form diamino Cu(II), diamino Zn(II), and tetramino Co(III) complexes that are identified spectrophotometrically and titrimetrically. The dendrimer–metal ion complexes catalyze the hydrolysis of p-nitrophenyl diphenyl phosphate in zwitterionic buffer solutions at pH ≤ 8.1 with relative activities Cu(II) > Zn(II) > Co(III). The rates of hydrolysis are faster with sodium perchlorate than with sodium chloride to control ionic strength. In sodium perchlorate solutions with Cu(II) the rates increase with increasing size of the dendrimer. In sodium chloride solutions with Cu(II) the rates decrease with increasing size of the dendrimer. Rate constants in buffered sodium chloride solutions of dendrimers and 1.0mM Cu(II) are 1.3–6.3 times faster than in the absence of Cu(II). The fastest hydrolyses occurred at a dendrimer primary amine to Cu(II) ratio NH2/Cu ≤ 2. At NH2/Cu = 4 and with the 1,4,7,10-tetraazacyclodecane complex of Cu(II) hydrolysis rates were much slower. © 1999 John Wiley & Sons, Inc. J Polym Sci A: Polym Chem 37: 2727–2736, 1999  相似文献

Three new vic-dioximes, [L1H2], N-(4-ethylphenyl)amino-1-acetyl-1-cyclohexenylglyoxime, [L2H2], N-(4-butylphenyl)amino-1-acetyl-1-cyclohexenylglyoxime, and [L3H2], N-(4-methoxyphenyl)amino-1-acetyl-1-cyclohexenylglyoxime were synthesized from 1-acetyl-1-cyclohexeneglyoxime and the corresponding substituted aromatic amines. Metal complexes of these ligands were also synthesized with Ni(II), Cu(II), and Co(II) salts. These new compounds (ligands and complexes) were characterized with FT–IR, magnetic susceptibility measurement, molar conductivity measurements, mass spectrometry measurements, thermal methods (e.g. thermal gravimetric analysis), 1H NMR (Nuclear Magnetic Resonance) and 13C NMR spectral data and elemental analyses.  相似文献

New azido-bridged [MnIII(salabza)(μ-1,3-N3)]n (1), and [CuII4(salabza)2(μ-1,1-N3)2(N3)2(HOCH3)2],(2) complexes with an unsymmetrical Schiff base ligand, {H2salabza = N,N’-bis(salicylidene)-2-aminobenzylamine}, have been synthesized, characterized by spectroscopic and electrochemical methods, and their crystal structures have been determined by X-ray diffraction. In complex 1, each manganese(III) atom is coordinated with N2O2 donor atoms from salabza and two adjacent Mn(III) centers are linked by an end-to-end (EE) azide bridge to form a helical polymeric chain with octahedral geometry around the Mn(III) centers. Complex 2 is a centrosymmetric tetranuclear compound containing two types of Cu(II) centers with square pyramidal geometry. Each terminal copper atom is surrounded by N2O2 atoms of a salabza ligand, and the oxygen atom of the methanol molecule. Each central copper(II) ion is coordinated with two phenoxo oxygen atoms from one salabza, one terminal azido, and two end-on (EO) bridging azido ligands. The central copper(II) ions are linked to each other by the two end-on (EO) azido groups.  相似文献

Three new thiocyanato-bridged polymers of cadmium(II), [Cd(me4dpt)(SCN)2] n (1) [me4dpt = 3,3′-iminobis(N,N-dimethylpropylamine], [Cd(me2tn)(SCN)2] n (2) (me2tn = N,N′-dimethyl-1,3-propanediamine) and [{amphyH} {Cd(SCN)3}] n (3) (ampyH = 4-aminopyridinium cation), have been synthesized and their molecular structures determined through X-ray crystallography. In Complex 1 each square pyramidal mononuclear fragment is H-bonded (N ? H…S) to form a 1D supramolecular chain. Complex 2 is a 1D coordination polymer in which each distorted octahedral cadmium(II) ion is linked with the four bridging thiocyanates and one diamine. The structure of 3 reveals anionic [Cd(SCN)3]? zigzag chains arranged in an approximately hexagonal array with the 4-aminopyridinum cations occupying triangular channels. Each chain is H-bonded (N?H…N) to form a 2D supramolecular network. Upon heating, 1 and 2 melt and transform to transparent solid masses at ambient temperature over a few days. On scratching, these turn to a fine powder. This phenomenon is repeatable. Complex 3 upon heating loses a 4-aminopyridine molecule and transforms to [H][Cd(SCN)3] at ??195°C.  相似文献

Two structurally related flexible imidazolyl ligands, bis(N-imidazolyl)methane (L1) and 1,4-bis(N-imidazolyl)butane (L2), were reacted with Cu(II), Co(II) and Ni(II) salts of aliphatic/aromatic dicarboxylic acids resulting in the formation of a number of novel metal–organic coordination architectures, [CuB2(ox)2(L1)2(H2O)2] · 4H2O (1) (ox = oxalate), [Cu(pdc)(L2)1.5] · 4H2O (2, pdc = pyridine-2,6-dicarboxylate), [Co(L)2(H2O)2](tp) · 4H2O (3, tp = terephthalate), [Ni(L1)2(H2O)2](ip) · 5H2O (4, ip = isophthalate), [Cu2(L1)4(H2O)4](tp)2 · 7H2O (5), [Co(mal)(L1)(H2O)] · 0.5MeOH (6, mal = malonate), [Co(pdc)(L1)(H2O)] (7). All the complexes have been structurally characterized by X-ray diffraction analysis. The different coordination modes of the dicarboxylate anions, due to their chain length, rigidity and diimidazolyl functionality, lead to a wide range of different coordination structures. The coordination polymers exhibit 1D single chain, ladder, 2D sheet and 2D network structures. The aliphatic and aromatic dicarboxylates can adopt chelating μ2 and chelating-bridging μ3 coordination modes, or act as uncoordinated counter anions. The central metal ions are coordinated in N2O4, N4O2, N2O3 and N3O3 fashions, depending on the ancillary ligands. The topology of 1 gives rise to macrocycles which are connected through hydrogen bonds to form 1D chains, whereas compound 2 exhibits a 1D polymeric ladder in which the carboxylate acts as a pincer ligand. Compounds 35 show doubly bridged 1D chains, and the dicarboxylate groups are not coordinated but form 2D corrugated sheets with water molecules intercalated between the cationic layers. Compound 6 has a 2D network sheet structure in which each metal ion links three neighboring Co atoms by the bis(N-imidazolyl)methane ligand. The cobalt compound 7, with a 2D polymeric double sheet structure, is built from pincer carboxylate (pdc) and 1,4-bis(N-imidazolyl)methane ligands.  相似文献

Five new Cu(II) complexes [Cu(psa)(phen)] · 3H2O (1), [Cu(psa)(2bpy)] · 0.5H2O (2), [Cu(psa)(2bpy)(H2O)] · 3H2O (3), [Cu(psa)(4bpy)] · H2O (4), and [Cu(psa)0.5(N3)(2bpy)] (5) (H2psa = phenylsuccinic acid, phen = 1,10-phenanthroline, 2bpy = 2,2′-bipyridine, and 4bpy = 4,4′-bipyridine) were obtained under solvothermal conditions and characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Complexes 2 and 3 were formed by one-pot reaction. In complex 2, Cu(II) ion is four-coordinated and locates at a slightly distorted square center. In complex 3, the coordinated water molecule occupies the axial site of Cu(II) ion forming a tetragonal pyramid geometry. Complexes 1 and 3 are of 1D chain structures, and extended into 2D supramolecular network by hydrogen bonds. Complex 2 is of zipper structure, and further assembled into 2D supramolecular network by hydrogen bonds and π–π stacking interactions. Complex 4 is a 3D CdSO4-like structure with twofold interpenetration, while complex 5 is a dinuclear compound. The different structures of complexes 15 can be attributed to using the auxiliary ligands, indicating an important role of the auxiliary ligands in assembly and structure of the title complexes.  相似文献

Varying coordination modes of the Schiff base ligand H2L [5-methyl-1-H-pyrazole-3-carboxylic acid (1-pyridin-2-yl-ethylidene)-hydrazide] towards different metal centers are reported with the syntheses and characterization of four mononuclear Mn(II), Co(II), Cd(II) and Zn(II) complexes, [Mn(H2L)(H2O)2](ClO4)2(MeOH) (1), [Co(H2L)(NCS)2] (2), [Cd(H2L)(H2O)2](ClO4)2 (3) and [Zn(H2L)(H2O)2](ClO4)2 (4), and a binuclear Cu(II) complex, [Cu2(L)2](ClO4)2 (5). In the complexes 1-4 the neutral ligand serves as a 3N,2O donor where the pyridine ring N, two azomethine N and two carbohydrazine oxygen atoms are coordinatively active, leaving the pyrazole-N atoms inactive. In the case of complex 5, each ligand molecule behaves as a 4N,O donor utilizing the pyridine N, one azomethine N, the nitrogen atom proximal to the azomethine of the remaining pendant arm and one pyrazole-N atom to one metal center and the carbohydrazide oxygen atom to the second metal center. The complexes 1-4 are pentagonal bipyramidal in geometry. In each case, the ligand molecule spans the equatorial plane while the apical positions are occupied by water molecules in 1, 3 and 4 and two N bonded thiocyanate ions in 2. In complex 5, the two Cu(II) centers have almost square pyramidal geometry (τ = 0.05 for Cu1 and 0.013 for Cu2). Four N atoms from a ligand molecule form the basal plane and the carbohydrazide oxygen atom of a second ligand molecule sits in the apex of the square pyramid. All the complexes have been X-ray crystallographically characterized. The Zn(II) and Cd(II) complexes show considerable fluorescence emission while the remaining complexes and the ligand molecule are fluorescent silent.  相似文献

A nickel(II) chelate, NiL1Cl2, has been obtained by reaction of nickel(II) chloride with a 15-membered N,O-donor macrocyclic ligand. Single-crystal X-ray studies reveal an octahedral environment around nickel(II). 7,7′,8,8′-Tetracyanoquinodimethane (tcnq) derivatives of the nickel(II) chelate were prepared by reaction with Litcnq and Et3N(tcnq)2. Spectroscopic measurements show the presence of only anionic tcnq in [NiL1(tcnq)2]·4H2O and a mixture of non-coordinating anionic and neutral tcnq species in [NiL1](tcnq)4·H2O.  相似文献

Three new mononuclear complexes [Co(2-Acpy)2(H2O)2](NO3)2 (1), [Ni(2-Acpy)2(H2O)2](NO3)2 (2) and [Cd(2-Acpy)2(NO3)2] (3) (2-Acpy = 2-acetylpyridine) have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, IR and UV–Vis spectroscopy. The structures of 1 and 3 were accomplished by single crystal X-ray diffraction. Crystallographic investigation of 1 reveals monomeric, dicationic units in which the cobalt(II) ion is six-coordinate. The coordination sphere is formed by two N, O bidentate acetylpyridine ligands and two water molecules. The crystal structure of 3 consists of monomeric units in which the cadmium is eight-coordinate. Both the organic ligand and nitrate groups are bidentate chelators. The supramolecular solid-state architecture is sustained by π–π interactions.  相似文献

Three new copper(II) complexes with isonicotinic acid N-oxide (HL) and 1,10-phenanthroline (phen) as ligands, [Cu(L)(phen)(H2O)]2(NO3)2···2H2O (1), [Cu(L)(phen)(H2O)]2(ClO4)2···2H2O (2), and [Cu(L)(phen)Br]2- [Cu(L)(phen)(H2O)]2Br2···6H2O (3) have been synthesized and structurally characterized. The structures of all three complexes feature a Cu2 dimer formed by two Cu(II) ions interconnected by two bridging ligands. Each copper(II) ion has a distorted square pyramidal coordination geometry with elongated axial coordination by an aqua ligand or halogen anion. The isonicotinic acid N-oxide anion is bidentate, being coordinated to two Cu(II) ions through its N-O oxygen and one of its carboxylate oxygen atoms. Magnetic susceptibility measurements show a Curie–Weiss paramagnetic behavior characteristic of one unpaired electron for a copper(II) ion for all three complexes.  相似文献

Eight new antimony (III) complexes containing dithiocarbamate ligands (R2NCS2)2SbBr [R2NCS2 = OC4H8NCS2 (1), C2H5NC4H8NCS2 (2), Me2NCS2 (3), C4H8NCS2 (4)] and (R2NCS2)3Sb[R2NCS2 = C5H10NCS2 (5), Bz2NCS2 (6), Et2NCS2 (7), (HOCH2CH2)2NCS2 (8)] have been synthesized by the reactions of antimony (III) halides with dithiocarbamate ligands in 1:2 or 1:3 stoichiometries. All the complexes have been characterized by elemental analysis, melting point as well as spectral [IR and NMR (1H and 13C)] studies. The crystal structures of complexes 1, 5 and 8 have been determined by X-ray single crystal diffraction, and their electrochemical character has also been studied.  相似文献

The new complexes [Co(ecpzdtc)3] (2) [Zn(ecpzdtc)2(py)] (3) and [Cd(ecpzdtc)2(py)]·H2O (4) have been synthesized from sodium 1-ethoxycarbonyl-piperazine-4-carbodithioate [(Na+(ecpzdtc)]. The ligand and the complexes have been characterized by elemental analyses, IR, magnetic susceptibility and single crystal X-ray data. The [Zn(ecpzdtc)2(py)] and [Cd(ecpzdtc)2(py)]·H2O complexes contain pyridine as the co-ligand. [Co(ecpzdtc)3] (2) crystallizes in the monoclinic system, whereas [Zn(ecpzdtc)2(py)] (3) and [Cd(ecpzdtc)2(py)]·H2O (4) crystallize in the triclinic system. The sulfur donor sites of the bidentate ligand chelate the metal center, forming a four-membered CS2M ring. The cobalt complex has a distorted octahedral geometry, the zinc complex is almost between trigonal bipyramidal and square pyramidal, whereas the cadmium complex is square pyramidal. The crystal structures of all the complexes are stabilized by various types of inter and intramolecular hydrogen bonding.  相似文献

Four new mononuclear complexes, [Ni(L1)(NCS)2] (1), [Ni(L2)(NCS)2] (2), [Co(L1)(N3)2]ClO4 (3), and [Co(L2)(N3)2]ClO4 (4), where L1 and L2 are N,N′-bis[(pyridin-2-yl)methylidene]butane-1,4-diamine and N,N′-bis[(pyridin-2-yl)benzylidene]butane-1,4-diamine, respectively, have been prepared. The syntheses have been achieved by reaction of the respective metal perchlorate with the tetradentate Schiff bases, L1 and L2, in presence of thiocyanate (for 1 and 2) or azide (for 3 and 4). The complexes have been characterized by microanalytical, spectroscopic, single crystal X-ray diffraction and other physicochemical studies. Structural studies reveal that 14 are distorted octahedral geometries. The antibacterial activity of all the complexes and their constituent Schiff bases have been tested against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria.  相似文献

2-Dimethylaminoethanol (dmea) reacted with tetraaqua-bis(saccharinato)cobalt(II) and -zinc(II) in n-butanol to yield the new complexes cis-[Co(sac)2(dmea)2] (1), and cis-[Zn(sac)2(dmea)2] (2) (sac?=?saccharinate). The complexes were characterized by elemental analyses, IR spectroscopy, DTA-TG and X-ray crystallography. Both complexes are isomorphous and crystallize in the monoclinic space group P21/c. The cobalt(II) and zinc(II) ions are coordinated by two neutral dmea ligands and two sac anions in a distorted octahedral environment. The dmea ligand acts as a bidentate N, O donor through the amine N and hydroxyl O atoms, while the sac ligand exhibits non-equivalent coordination, behaving as an ambidentate ligand; one coordinates to the metal via the carbonyl oxygen atom, while the other is N-bonded. The packing of the molecules in the crystals of both complexes is achieved by aromatic π(sac)–π(sac) stacking interactions, C–H?·?π interactions and weak intermolecular C–H?·?O hydrogen bonds involving the methyl groups of dmea and the sulfonyl oxygen atoms of the sac ligands. IR and UV spectra and thermal analysis are in agreement with the crystal structures.  相似文献

Co(II), Ni(II) and Cu(II) complexes were synthesized with thiosemicarbazone (L(1)) and semicarbazone (L(2)) derived from 2-acetyl furan. These complexes were characterized by elemental analysis, molar conductance, magnetic moment, mass, IR, electronic and EPR spectral studies. The molar conductance measurement of the complexes in DMSO corresponds to non-electrolytic nature. All the complexes are of high-spin type. On the basis of different spectral studies six coordinated geometry may be assigned for all the complexes except Co(L)(2)(SO(4)) and Cu(L)(2)(SO(4)) [where L=L(1) and L(2)] which are of five coordinated square pyramidal geometry.  相似文献

Heterobinuclear metal chelates of Mn2+, Co2+ or Cu2+ and some transition metal ions with o-cresolphthalein complexone have been prepared and characterized. Elemental analyses are in agreement with proposed formulae. Thermal analyses (TGA and DTA) were used to determine the degradation products; some thermodynamic parameters were calculated. IR and UV-Vis spectra identified the mode of bonding between the metal ions and the ligand as well as its geometry. Magnetic moment determination and ESR spectra of the heterobinuclear complex revealed some antiferromagnetic interaction between the metal ions, which depends mainly on the two metal ions forming the chelate. Electrochemical studies of the complexes [DC-polarography and cyclic voltammetry (CV)] confirmed the existence and the nature of the metal ions in the chelate.  相似文献

Cobalt(II), nickel(II), and copper(II) complexes containing 5,12-di(4-bromophenyl)-7,14-dimethyl-1,2,4,8,9,11-hexaazacyclotetradeca-7,14-diene-3,10-dione (H2L1) and 5,12-diphenyl-7,14-dimethyl-1,2,4,8,9,11-hexaazacyclotetradeca-7,14-diene-3,10-dione (H2L2) have been synthesized. All complexes were characterized by elemental analysis, MALDI TOF-MS spectrometry, and electronic absorption spectroscopy. The crystal structures of two compounds, [Cu2(H2L1)Cl4]n and [NiL2], were determined by X-ray powder diffraction. In the polymeric [Cu2(H2L1)Cl4]n, the Cu2Cl4 units and H2L1 molecules are situated on inversion centers. Each Cu(II) has a distorted trigonal-bipyramidal coordination environment formed by N and O from H2L1 [Cu–N 2.340(14)?Å, Cu–O 1.952(11)?Å], two bridging chlorides [Cu–Cl 2.332(5), 2.279(5)?Å] and one terminal chloride [Cu–Cl 2.320(6)?Å]. In the [NiL2] complex, the Ni(II) situated on inversion center has a distorted square-planar coordination environment formed by four nitrogens from L2 [Ni–N 1.860(11), 1.900(11)?Å].  相似文献
