Relative Flatness and Coherence

For a fixed given right R-module M, so-called M-flat left R-modules are investigated, which are flat relative to short exact sequences in the subcategory σ[M] subgenerated by M. The properties of M-flat modules lead naturally to a concept of an M-coherent module and M-coherent ring R. Various properties and characterizations of M-coherent modules and rings are proven.

Coherence for modalities

Positive modalities in S4, S5 and systems in their vicinity are investigated in terms of categorial proof theory. Coherence and maximality results are demonstrated, and connections with mixed distributive laws and Frobenius algebras are exhibited.     

中国地区全要素生产率的Bayesian分析

本文利用全国28个省市自治区的相关数据,以索洛增长方程为基础,采用Bayesian SUR模型以及Gibbs-Importance抽样算法,估算了其资本产出弹性,并在此基础上计算了各地区全要素生产率及其增长率。研究结果表明,科技发展战略对全要素生产率的提高具有显著正效应;随着产业结构调整,资本产出弹性和全要素生产率的关系从正相关逐渐变为负相关,并且由此所表明的地区分工协作特征正逐步显现;内陆地区的地缘经济特征制约了其全要素生产率的进一步提高。     

Coherence, Homotopy and 2-Theories

2-Theories are a canonical way of describing categories with extra structure. 2-theory-morphisms are used when discussing how one structure can be replaced with another structure. This is central to categorical coherence theory. We place a Quillen model category structure on the category of 2-theories and 2-theory-morphisms where the weak equivalences are biequivalences of 2-theories. A biequivalence of 2-theories induces a biequivalence of 2-categories of algebras. This model category structure allows one to talk of the homotopy of 2-theories and discuss the universal properties of coherence.     

Coherence of Structural Optimization and Configurational Mechanics

This contribution is concerned with the similarities of structural optimization and configurational mechanics. In structural optimization sensitivity analysis is used to obtain the sensitivity of continuum mechanical functions with respect to variations of the material body, i.e. the reference configuration. In the same manner in configurational mechanics we are interested in changes of the material body, e.g. crack propagation or phase transition problems. Consequently, variational design sensitivity analysis and the numerical techniques from structural optimization are applicable to problems fromconfigurational mechanics. Coherence for Product Monoids and their Actions

Let and be two monoids (algebras) in a monoidal category . Further let be a distributive law in the sense of [J. Beck, Lect. Notes Math., 80:119–140, 1969]; naturally yields a monoid . Consider a word in the symbols , , and . The first coherence theorem proved in this paper asserts that all morphisms coincide in , provided they arise as composites of morphisms which are -products of ’s ‘canonical’ structure morphisms, and of , , , , , , , and . Assume now that an object is endowed with both an -object structure , and an -object structure . Further assume that these two structures are compatible, in the sense that they naturally yield an -object . Let be a word in , , , and , which contains a single instance of , in the rightmost position. The second coherence theorem states that all morphisms coincide in , provided they arise as composites of morphisms which are -products of ’s ‘canonical’ structure morphisms, and of , , , , , , , , , and .     

A Note on Relative Flatness and Coherence

Let R be a ring and M a fixed right R-module. A new characterization of M-flatness is given by certain linear equations. For a left R-module F such that the canonical map M? _R F → Hom _R (M?, F) is injective, where M? = Hom _R (M, R), the M-flatness of F is characterized via certain matrix subgroups. An example is given to show that R need not be M-coherent even if every left R-module is M-flat. Moreover, some properties of M-coherent rings are discussed.     

我国各地区全要素生产率的测定与比较分析

全要素生产率是衡量经济效益的一项重要指标.本文利用生产要素的影子价格作为权重,提出一种计算全要素生产率的方法.用该方法计算了全国各省（直辖市）的全要素生产率,并对计算结果进行了比较分析.     

扭曲风险度量的一致性

风险测量的一种新方法——扭曲(distortion)风险度量,证明了扭曲函数满足一致性的充要条件;并比较该方法与VaR、Tail-VaR方法的优劣,得出该方法优于VaR和Tail-VaR的结论.
