Antimycobacterial activity of mixed-ligand copper quinolone complexes   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
New mixed-ligand CuII, complexes: [Cu(cf)(phen)Cl)](BF4) · 4H2O (3), [Cu(cf)(bipy)(Cl)](BF4) · 2H2O (4) and [Cu(cf)(dafone)(Cl)](BF4) · 2H2O (5) (cf = ciprofloxacin, phen = 1,10-phenanthroline, bipy = 2,2-bipyridine and dafone = 4,5-diazafluoren-9-one) have been isolated and characterized by elemental analyses, i.r., u.v.–vis. spectra, magnetic susceptibility and cyclic voltammetry. Complex (4) crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P21/n with a = 13.8919(13) Å, b = 14.5718(13) Å, c = 14.0725(13) Å, = 95.150(2)°, V=2837.2(5) Å3. All complexes possess square-pyramidal geometry. The antimycobacterial activity of ciprofloxacin and complexes (3–5) has been evaluated against Mycobacterium smegmatis, which shows clear enhancement in the antitubercular activity upon copper complexation with N—N donors.  相似文献

A phase diagram of the [Zn(MePy)2(NCS)2]-MePy binary system has been studied by DTA and solubility methods. Two compounds melting incongruently (at 63 and 57°C) have been discovered in the system. They have been obtained as separate phases with crystals of different shape (needles and octahedra). Their composition has been determined by analytical methods and verified by X-ray structural analysis: [Zn(MePy)4(NCS)2]·0.67 MePy·xH2O, wherex depends on the synthesis conditions, and [Zn(MePy)4(NCS)2]·MePy, respectively.The preliminary X-ray study of the first compound (at –100°C) has shown it to be isostructural with the known clathrates of the common formula [M(MePy)4(NCS)2]·0.67MePy·xH2O, where M=Cu, Mn, Mg andx=0–0.33. The unit cell parameters are as follows:a=27.20(1),c=11.202(4) Å, space group ,Z=9.The X-ray study of [Zn(MePy)4(NCS)2]·MePy (at–50°C) has shown it to be analogous to the organic zeolite -phase with the guest MePy molecules located in the channels formed by molecular packing of the [Zn(MePy)4(NCS)2]host. The cell is tetragonal, the space groupI41/a,a=16.845(6),c=23.496(7) Å,V=6667(4) Å3,Z=8,D calc=1.289 g cm–3,R=0.074. The zinc cation is surrounded by a slightly irregular octahedron of six nitrogen atoms of the MePy and NCS ligands. The crystallisation field of the host [Zn(MePy)4(NCS)2] complex in the temperature range concerned is absent in the phase diagram. It suggests contact stabilization of the [Zn(MePy)4(NCS)2] molecule by the guest in the clathrates. Complex of podand 1,2-bis(2-(o-hydroxyphenoxy)ethyloxy)ethane (L) with potassium thiocyanate, [K2(NCS)2L2] (I) was synthesized and studied using X-ray diffraction analysis: space group P , a = 7.771 Å, b = 11.711 Å, c = 11.965 Å, = 72.22°, = 79.21°, = 89.07°, Z = 1. Structure I was solved by direct method and anisotropically refined by the full-matrix least-squares method to R = 0.040 for all 4370 independent reflections (CAD4 autodiffractometer, MoK ). Structure I contains [K(NCS)L] monomers of the host–guest type united into centrosymmetrical [K2(NCS)2L2] dimers via two bridging OH groups (one group from two L podands). In the monomer, the L podand appears as though to envelope the octacoordinated K+ cation, whose the coordination polyhedron is a strongly distorted hexagonal bipyramid with all six oxygen atoms of the L podand in its base and the N atom of the SCN ligand and the O atom of one of OH group of the neighboring (in dimer) L podand at its axial vertices. Molecules of I in crystal are joined through the O–H···N hydrogen bonds to form broad infinite chains along the x-axis.  相似文献

Two 2-terephthalate (tp) bridged complexes, [Cu2(tp)(pren)4](ClO4)2 (pren = 1,3-diaminopropane) (1) and [Ni2(tp)(pren)4(Him)2](ClO4)2 (Him = imidazole) (2), have been synthesized and characterized by X-ray single-crystal structural analysis. In the discrete dinuclear [Cu2(tp)(pren)4]2+ cation of complex (1), each CuII atom has a square-pyramidal geometry, being coordinated by four nitrogen atoms (avg. 2.031 Å) from two pren ligands at the basal plane and one oxygen atom [2.259(3) Å] from a bis-monodentate tp group at the axial position. In the discrete dinuclear [Ni2(tp)(pren)4(Him)2]2+ cation of complex (2), each NiII center is coordinated by five nitrogen atoms [Ni—N 2.069(3)–2.109(2) Å] from one Him group and two pren groups, and completed by one oxygen atom [Ni—O 2.138(3) Å] from a bis-monodentate tp group to furnish a distorted octahedron. Magnetic susceptibility studies show that the pair of metal atoms, although being separated by >11.5 Å, exhibit weak intramolecular antiferromagnetic interactions in complexes (1) (g = 2.07 and J = –3.4 cm–1) and (2) (g = 2.10 and J = –0.7 cm–1). The electrochemical behaviors of the complexes have also been studied by cyclic voltammogram processes.  相似文献

A series of mononuclear MnII and MnIV complexes of general formulae [MnL2(NCS)2] (1a1d) and [Mn(L)2(NCS)2] (2a2c) have been prepared where L are Schiff bases obtained by the condensation of pyridine-2-aldehyde with para-alkyl-substituted aniline, and L are the corresponding amide ligands. The room temperature magnetic susceptibility data of (1a–1d) indicate that MnII is in a high spin state. The cyclic voltammograms of (1a–1d) exhibit a one-electron quasi-reversible MnIIMnIII oxidation. A linear correlation has been found when E0[MnIII/MnII] is plotted against Hammett p parameters. X-ray crystallographic data of (1b) shows that the central MnII ion adopts a distorted octahedral geometry with six different Mn–N distances. Upon oxidation of MnII complexes (1b–1d) by H2O2, the corresponding MnIV complexes (2a–2c) were obtained, and the Schiff base ligands were oxidized to the corresponding amides. The lowest energy LMCT bands of these MnIV complexes correlate linearly with Hammett p parameters. The redox behavior of the MnIV complexes has been investigated by cyclic voltammetry. E.p.r. spectra of the MnII and MnIV complexes are also reported.  相似文献

A cyanide-bridged FeIII–FeII mixed-valence assembly, [FeIII(salen)]2[FeII(CN)5NO] [salen = N,N-ethylenebis(salicylideneiminato)dianion], prepared by slow diffusion of an aqueous solution of Na2[Fe(CN)5NO] · 2H2O and a MeOH solution of [Fe(salen)NO3] in an H tube, has been characterized by X-ray structure analysis, i.r. spectra and magnetic measurements. The product assumes a two-dimensional network structure consisting of pillow-like octanuclear [—FeII—CN—FeIII—NC—]4 units with dimensions: FeII—C = 1.942(7) Å, C—N = 1.139(9) Å, FeIII—N = 2.173(6) Å, FeII—C—N = 178.0(6)°, FeIII—N—C = 163.4(6)°. The FeII—N—O bond angle is linear (180.0°). The variable temperature magnetic susceptibility, measured in the 4.8–300 K range, indicates the presence of a weak intralayer antiferromagnetic interaction and gives an FeIII–FeIII exchange integral of –0.033 cm–1.  相似文献

Summary The synthesis of the NiII, PdII and CuII complexes of N, N-bis(aminoalkyl)oxamides (LH2) is described and structures are proposed on the basis of their physical and spectroscopic properties. With NiII and PdII only one complex is formed with general formula NiL or PdL, characterised by coordination through two deprotonated amide N-atoms and two terminal NH2 groups. With CuII it proved possible to obtain three structurally different compounds, depending on the pH, with general formulae Cu(LH2)X2, Cu2(L)X2 and CuL in which X=Cl, Br or NO3. The structure of [Cu2(C8O2N4H16](NO3)2 was solved by means ofx-ray diffraction; Mr=451.33, monoclinic, space group P21/n, a=9.503(4), b=7.614(1), c=10.407(3) Å, =98.43(3)°, V=744.3(7)Å3, Z=2, Dx=1.202 g cm–3, =1.33 cm–1, (MoK)=0.71073 Å, F(000)=520, room temperature, R=0.043, wR=0.047 for 1080 observed [I>-3(I)] not systematically absent reflections out of 1423 measurements and 137 variables. The compound has a conformational chair/boat disorder with 82% in the more stable chair form.  相似文献

Palladium clusters Pd4(SEt)4(OAc)4(I) and Pd6(SEt)12(II) were synthesized and studied. Their structure was determined by X-ray diffraction analysis. For I, a= 9.774(2) Å, b= 10.821(2) Å, c= 13.061(3) Å, = 92.88(3)°, V= 1379.6(5) Å3, (calcd.) = 2.182 g/cm3, space group P21/n, Z= 4, N ref= 1558, and R= 0.031; for II, a= 10.581(1) Å, b= 10.584(2) Å, c= 11.478(2) Å, = 101.62(1)°, = 104.95(1)°, = 106.74(1)°, V= 1135.2(4) Å3, (calcd) = 2.007 g/cm3, space group P1, Z= 1, N ref= 2828, and R= 0.022. In cluster I, four Pd atoms form a planar cycle. The neighboring palladium atoms are bound by two acetate or by two mercaptide bridges, the Pd···Pd distances being 3.036–3.195 Å. In cluster II, Pd atoms form a planar six-membered cycle with Pd···Pd distances of 3.083–3.127 Å. The neighboring palladium atoms are bound by two mercaptide bridges. The formation of analogous clusters in solution was confirmed by IR spectroscopy.  相似文献

Two novel heterometallic cubane-like and double cubane-like clusters, {MoCu3S3(S2COEt)}(O)(Ph3P)3 I and {Mo2Cu6S6(SCMe3)2}(O)2(Ph3P)4 II, were synthesized by reaction of {MoCu2S3}(O)(Ph3P)3 with CuS2COEt and CuSCMe3, respectively. ClusterI crystallized in the triclinic space group (2) witha=12.766(6) Å,b=22.904(5) Å,c=10.522(3) Å, =99.86(2)°, =109.68(2)°, =86.84(3)°,V=2854(2) Å3,Z=2,R=0.049 for 6622 observed reflections (I>5(I)) and 410 variables. ClusterII crystallized in the triclinic space group (2) with dimensionsa=14.212(4) Å,b=14.725(5) Å,c=12.396(8) Å, =110.32(4)°, =90.40(5)°, =62.88(2)°,V=2129(2) Å3,Z=1,R=0.039 for 6020 observed reflections (I>3(I)) and 461 variables. ClusterI consists of a neutral cubane-like molecule with the core {MoCu3S3(S2COEt)}2+, in which one corner of the cubane-like core is a novel triply bridging bidentate 1,1-dithiolato (xanthate, S2COEt) ligand. ClusterII is a double cubane-like one, in which two cubane-like cores {MoCu3S3(SCMe3)}2+ are connected by two Cu-S bonds of the triply bridging monothiolato (SCMe 3 ) ligand. Two different pathways of unit construction from a small heterometallic cluster {MoCu2S3}(O)(Ph3P)3 have been outlined. Comparisons of the selected bond lengths and bond angles for the cubane-like core {MoCu3S3 X} (X=Cl, Br, S2COEt, SCMe 3 ) are given. Spectroscopic properties of the title clusters are also reported.  相似文献

The salt tetrakis(isothiocyanato)zinc(II) 4,7,13,16,21,24-hexaoxa-1,10-diazoniabicyclo[8.8.8]hexacosane, [H2(Crypt-222)]2+ · [Zn(NCS)4]2– (I), was synthesized and its structure was determined using X-ray diffraction analysis: space group P21/n, a = 13.734 Å, b = 11.627 Å, c = 20.816 Å, = 91.51°, Z = 4. The structure was solved by direct methods and anisotropically refined by the full-matrix least-squares method to R =0.093 for 4920 independent reflections (CAD4 autodiffractometer, CuK radiation). The structural units of crystal I are 2.2.2-cryptand dications (with two protonated nitrogen atoms) and complex anions [Zn(NCS)4]2–. The coordination polyhedron of the Zn2+ cation is a distorted tetrahedron. The 2.2.2-cryptand dication contains trifurcate N–H(...O)3 hydrogen bonds.  相似文献

Paramagnetic copper(II) complexes with N-(3-hydroximino-2-methylbutan-2-yl)methylamine (HL), namely, Cu(HL)Cl2(I), Cu(HL)(SO4) · 2H2O (II), and Cu(HL)(NO3)2(III), were obtained. The crystal structures of I and II were determined. The blue crystals of these compounds are monoclinic. For I(C6H14Cl2CuN2O): a = 8.820(1) Å, b = 6.511(1) Å, c = 18.255(2) Å, = 92.86(1)° V = 1047.0(2) Å3, space group P21/c, calcd = 1.679 g/cm3, Z = 4 for R 1 = 0.0250; for II(C6H18CuN2O7S): a = 9.999(2) Å, b = 9.927(2) Å, c = 12.963(3) Å, = 106.37(3)°, V = 1234.5(4) Å3, space group P21/c, calcd = 1.753 g/cm3, Z = 4 for R 1 = 0.0324. Crystals of I have a molecular structure. The Cu coordination polyhedron is a square bipyramid (2N + 2Cl + Cl + Cl) due to additional contacts with two Cl atoms from the neighboring molecules. Structure II is built from polymeric chains. The environment of the Cu atom is a distorted cis-octahedron (2N + 2O(H2O) + 2O(SO4)). The crystal structures of complex antimony(III) fluorides RbSbF4 (I) and (C2N4H5)SbF4 (II) were determined. The crystals of I and II are monoclinic; for I: a = 4.628(1) Å, b = 6.167(1) Å, c = 7.922(1) Å, = 100.582(3)°, V = 222.24(7) Å3, Z = 2, (calcd.) = 4.23 g/cm3, (exp.) = 4.25 g/cm3, F(000) = 248, space group P21/m, R = 0.0395; for II: a = 4.678(1) Å, b = 7.339(4) Å, c = 10.185(1) Å, = 90.88(2)°, V = 349.6(2) Å3, Z = 2, (calcd.) = 2.69 g/cm3, (exp.) = 2.70 g/cm3, F(000) = 264, space group P21. The structure of I is formed by Rb+ cations and [SbF4] n n anionic chains composed of SbF5E octahedra with two bridging fluorine atoms. The structure of IIis formed by (C2N4H5)+ cations and isolated [SbF4] anions in which the antimony polyhedra are SbF4E trigonal bipyramids. The relationship between the crystal structures and electrophysical and biological properties of single-charged cation tetrafluoroantimonates(III) was studied.  相似文献

Diamagnetic [Ni(i-Bu2PS2)2] compound (I) in ethanol reacts with 2,2"-bipyridine or pyrazine to give the paramagnetic complexes [Ni(2,2"-Bipy)(i-Bu2PS2)2] (II), [Ni(Pz)2(i-Bu2PS2)2] (III), and [Ni(Pz)(i-Bu2PS2)2] n (IV) (eff= 2.91–3.12 B). Single crystals of IIwere grown for X-ray diffraction study. The crystals are monoclinic, a= 14.669(3) Å, b= 19.693(4) Å, c= 12.155(2) Å, = 107.51(3)°, V= 3348(1) Å3, Z= 4; calcd= 1.257 g/cm3, space group P21/c. The structure is built from monomeric molecules. The coordination polyhedron of the Ni atom is a distorted octahedron formed by four S atoms of two bidentate chelating i-Bu2PS 2ligands and by two N atoms of bidentate cyclic 2,2"-Bipy. Preliminary data for complexes IIIand IVindicate that they also contain an octahedral NiN2S4fragment. The structures of complexes I(square planar) and ofIIIV(octahedral) were confirmed by data from electron spectroscopy. Electronic absorption spectra were used to determine the rankings of the i-Bu2PS 2ions and Pz on a spectrochemical scale.  相似文献

Crystal structures of [Co(MH)2(Thio)2][BF4] · H2O (I) and [Co(DH)2(NH3)2][BF4] (II), where MH is H3C–C(NOH)–C(NO)–H and DH is H3C–C(NOH)–C(NO)–CH3, were determined by X-ray diffraction. The crystals are monoclinic, space group C2/c, unit cell parameters (for I and II, respectively): a = 22.018(2) Å, b = 7.943(1) Å, c = 11.681(1) Å, = 92.68(1)° and a = 21.436(2) Å, b = 6.400(2) Å, c = 12.389(2) Å, = 113.13(1)°. In both cases, the Co(III) coordination polyhedron is a centrosymmetrical trans-octahedron, N4S2 for I and N6 for II. In the crystals of I and II, the complex cations and the outer-sphere [BF4] anions (and the crystal water molecules in I) form elaborate hydrogen bonding system.  相似文献

The three copper(II)-arsenates were synthesized under hydrothermal conditions; their crystal structures were determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction methods:Cu3(AsO4)2-III:a=5.046(2) Å,b=5.417(2) Å,c=6.354(2) Å, =70.61(2)°, =86.52(2)°, =68.43(2)°,Z=1, space group ,R=0.035 for 1674 reflections with sin / 0.90 Å–1.Na4Cu(AsO4)2:a=4.882(2) Å,b=5.870(2) Å,c=6.958(3) Å, =98.51(2)°, =90.76(2)°, =105.97(2)°,Z=1, space group ,R=0.028 for 2157 reflections with sin / 0.90 Å–1.KCu4(AsO4)3:a=12.234(5) Å,b=12.438(5) Å,c=7.307(3) Å, =118.17(2)°,Z=4, space group C2/c,R=0.029 for 1896 reflections with sin / 0.80 Å–1.Within these three compounds the Cu atoms are square planar [4], tetragonal pyramidal [4+1], and tetragonal bipyramidal [4+2] coordinated by O atoms; an exception is the Cu(2)[4+1] atom in Cu3(AsO4)2-III: the coordination polyhedron is a representative for the transition from a tetragonal pyramid towards a trigonal bipyramid. In KCu4(AsO4)3 the Cu(1)[4]O4 square and the As(1)O4 tetrahedron share a common O—O edge of 2.428(5) Å, resulting in distortions of both the CuO4 square and the AsO4 tetrahedron. In KCu4(AsO4)3 haben das Cu(1)[4]O4-Quadrat und das As(1)O4-Tetraeder eine gemeinsame O—O-Kante von 2.428(5) Å, was eine Verzerrung der beiden Koordinationsfiguren CuO4-Quadrat und AsO4-Tetraeder bedingt. Die zwei Na-Atome in Na4Cu(AsO4)3 sind durch O-Atome [6]-koordiniert, das K-Atom in KCu4(AsO4)3 ist [8]-koordiniert.

A new complex, hexadimethylsulfoxidenickel(II) tetraisothiocyanatozincate [Ni(DMSO)6][Zn(NCS)4](I), is synthesized. Its crystal structure is determined by X-ray diffraction analysis. Compound I forms light green, monoclinic crystals shaped like plates: a = 8.4358(8) Å ,b = 21.655(2) Å, c = 10.8351(8) Å = 105.162(7)°, V = 1910.4(3) Å3, space group P21/m, Z = 2, (calcd) = 1.434 g/cm 3 , µ= 1.699mm –1. Zusammenfassung Die magnetischen, spektralen und strukturellen Eigenschaften des gemischten Amminkomplexes [Fe(II)py 2 phen(NCS)2] werden diskutiert. Der Orbitalparamter liegt mit 11 700 cm–1 nahe der Spinpaarungsenergie für den mittleren kovalenten Fall 11 000 bis 12 000 cm–1 und erlaubt so ein Spingleichgewicht zwischen den Spektralzuständen5T21A1. Dieses Gleichgewicht wird durch magnetische Messungen bei verschiedenen Temperaturen nachgewiesen.

The magnetic, spectral and structural properties of the mixed ammine [Fe(II)py 2 phen(NCS)2] are discussed. The orbital parameter of about 11 700 cm–1 near to the spin-pairing energy for the mean covalent case 11 000 to 12 000 cm–1 allows a spin equilibrium between the spectral states5T21A1, put in evidence by the magnetic measurements at different temperatures.

Summary Two complextrans-NiL2 (NCS)2] (L =N, N-dimethyl-1,3-propanediamine) synthesised from solution in two isomeric forms (1) and (2), exhibit similar colours, magnetic moments and electronic spectra, but differ in their i.r. spectra and x-ray powder diffraction patterns. We suggest they possesstrans- chair-chair andcis-chair-chair chelate conformations, respectively. Complexes (1) (2) isomerise (temperature range 382–397.5 K; H = 5.12 kJ mol–1) in the solid state. Isomer (2) is converted into isomer (1) upon recrystallisation from chloroform. Thetrans-[NiL2NCSe)2] complex does not isomerise upon heating. The compound [NiL(NCS)2], prepared by thermal decomposition of [NiL2(NCS)2], possesses octahedral polymeric structure in which the diamine is chelated and all the thiocyanato groups are bridging.  相似文献

X-ray crystal structure analyses of sulfamide were carried out at 293 K and at 100 K:M=96.10, orthorhombic, Fdd2,Z=8,F(000)=400, Mo K, =0.71069 Å (graphite monochromator). A) 293 K:a=9.127 (1) Å,b=16.857 (5) Å,c=4.579 (1) Å,V=704.50 Å3,d x =1.812 Mgm–3, =0.648 mm–1,R=1.77%,R w =1.94% (384 reflections, 33 parameters). The sulfamide molecule shows at 293 K S-O and S-N distances of 1.429 (1) Å and 1.620 (1) Å, respectively, which are in agreement with IR data. Hydrogen positions could be determined from differenceFourier syntheses. Strong weakening of some intense low order reflections by extinction was observed, their anisotropy depends on the crystal and on temperature.

Summary The light purple crystals of (4,4-dipyridinium) [ReO(NCS)(CN)4] crystallize in the monoclinic space group P21/m witha=6.615(1),b=16.043(1),c=8.405(1) Å,=93.20(1)°,z=2. The anisotropic refinement of the 1770 observed reflections converged to R=0.041.The [ReO(NCS)(CN)4]2– ion has a distorted octahedral geometry. The rhenium atom is displaced by 0.30 Å out of the plane formed by the four carbon atoms towards the terminal oxo ligand. Bond distances: Re=0 =1.67(1), Re–N=2.12(1) and Re–Cav=2.11(1)Å. The thiocyanate ion is nitrogen bonded to the rhenium atom.  相似文献
