The reaction of Ln(NO3)3(aq) with K3[Fe(CN)6] or K3[Co(CN)6] and 2,2'-bipyridine in water/ethanol led to 13 one-dimensional complexes: trans-[M(CN)4(mu-CN)2Ln(H2O)4(bpy)]n.4nH2O.1.5nbpy (Ln = Eu3+, Tb3+, Dy3+, Ho3+, Er3+, Tm3+, Lu3+; M = Fe3+, Co3+). The structures for [EuFe]n (1), [TbFe]n (2), [DyFe]n (3), [HoFe]n (4), [ErFe]n (5), [TmFe]n (6), [LuFe]n (7), [EuCo]n (8), [TbCo]n (9), [DyCo]n (10), [HoCo]n (11), [ErCo]n (12), and [TmCo]n (13) have been solved: they crystallize in the triclinic space group P and are isomorphous. They exhibit a supramolecular architecture created by the interplay of coordinative, hydrogen bonding, and pi-pi interactions. A stereochemical study of the eight-vertex polyhedra of the lanthanide ions, based on continuous shape measures, is presented. The Ln3+-Fe3+ interaction is antiferromagnetic in [DyFe]n and [TbFe]n. For [EuFe]n, [HoFe]n, [ErFe]n, and [TmFe]n, there is no sign of any significant interaction. The magnetic behavior of [DyFe]n suggests the onset of weak long-range ferromagnetic ordering at 2.5 K.  相似文献

The reaction of Ln(NO3)3.aq with K3[Fe(CN)6] or K3[Co(CN)6] in N,N'-dimethylformamide (DMF) led to 25 heterodinuclear [Ln(DMF)4(H2O)3(mu-CN)Fe(CN)5].nH2O and [Ln(DMF)4(H2O)3(mu-CN)Co(CN)5].nH2O complexes (with Ln = all the lanthanide(III) ions, except promethium and lutetium). Five complexes (Pr(3+)-Fe3+), (Tm(3+)-Fe3+), (Ce(3+)-Co3+), (Sm(3+)-Co3+), and (Yb(3+)-Co3+) have been structurally characterized; they crystallize in the equivalent monoclinic space groups P21/c or P21/n. Structural studies of these two families show that they are isomorphous. This relationship in conjunction with the diamagnetism of the Co3+ allows an approximation to the nature of coupling between the iron(III) and the lanthanide(III) ions in the [Ln(DMF)4(H2O)3(mu-CN)Fe(CN)5].nH2O complexes. The Ln(3+)-Fe3+ interaction is antiferromagnetic for Ln = Ce, Nd, Gd, and Dy and ferromagnetic for Ln = Tb, Ho, and Tm. For Ln = Pr, Eu, Er, Sm, and Yb, there is no sign of any significant interaction. The isotropic nature of Gd3+ helps to evaluate the value of the exchange interaction.  相似文献

The reaction of Ln(NO(3))(3).aq with K(3)[Fe(CN)(6)] or K(3)[Co(CN)(6)] and 2,2'-bipyridine in water led to five one-dimensional complexes: trans-[M(CN)(4)(mu-CN)(2)Ln(H(2)O)(4) (bpy)](n)().XnH(2)O.1.5nbpy (M = Fe(3+) or Co(3+); Ln = Sm(3+), Gd(3+), or Yb(3+); X = 4 or 5). The structures for [Fe(3)(+)-Sm(3+)] (1), [Fe(3)(+)-Gd(3+)] (2), [Fe(3)(+)-Yb(3+)] (3), [Co(3)(+)-Gd(3+)] (4), and [Co(3)(+)-Yb(3+)] (5) have been solved; they crystallize in the triclinic space P1 and are isomorphous. The [Fe(3+)-Sm(3+)] complex is a ferrimagnet, its magnetic studies suggesting the onset of weak ferromagnetic 3-D ordering at 3.5 K. The [Fe(3+)-Gd(3+)] interaction is weakly antiferromagnetic. The isotropic nature of Gd(3+) allowed us to evaluate the exchange interaction (J = 0.77 cm(-)(1)).  相似文献

The reaction of Ln(NO3)3(aq) with K3[Fe(CN)6] or K3[Co(CN)6] and 2,2'-bipyridine in water/ethanol led to eight trinuclear complexes: trans-[M(CN)4(mu-CN)2{Ln(H2O)4(bpy)2}2][M(CN)6].8H2O (M = Fe3+ or Co3+, Ln = La3+, Ce3+, Pr3+, Nd3+, and Sm3+). The structures for the eight complexes [La2Fe] (1), [Ce2Fe] (2), [Pr2Fe] (3), [Nd2Fe] (4), [Ce2Co] (5), [Pr2Co] (6), [Nd2Co] (7), and [Sm2Co] (8) have been solved; they crystallize in the triclinic space group P and are isomorphous. They exhibit a supramolecular 3D architecture through hydrogen bonding and pi-pi stacking interactions. A stereochemical study of the nine-vertex polyhedra of the lanthanide ions, based on continuous shape measures, is presented. No significant magnetic interaction was found between the lanthanide(III) and the iron(III) ions.  相似文献

Two structural series, including seven isomorphous heterodinuclear complexes, [Ln(DMSO)4(H2O)3(mu-CN)M(CN)5].H2O ([La-Fe] (1), [Pr-Fe] (2), [Pr-Co] (3), [Nd-Fe] (4), [Nd-Co] (5), [Sm-Fe] (6) and [Sm-Co] (7)), and seven isostructural 2-D stair-like cyano-bridged bimetallic assemblies, [Ln(DMSO)2(H2O)(mu-CN)4M(CN)2]n ([La-Fe]n (8), [Pr-Fe]n (9), [Pr-Co]n (10), [Nd-Fe]n (11), [Nd-Co]n (12), [Sm-Fe]n (13) and [Sm-Co]n (14)) (DMSO = dimethylsulfoxide), have been rationally prepared by a facile approach, a ball-milling method, and characterized by X-ray diffraction and magnetic measurements. The isomorphous structures, in conjunction with the diamagnetism of the Co(3+) and La(3+) ions, allow an approximation to the nature of coupling between the iron(III) and lanthanide(III) ions in the Ln(3+)-Fe(3+) complexes. The Ln(3+)-Fe(3+) interaction is ferromagnetic for the dinuclear [Pr-Fe] (2), [Nd-Fe] (4), and [Sm-Fe] (6) systems and for the 2-D [Pr-Fe]n (9), [Nd-Fe]n (11), and [Sm-Fe]n (13) assemblies.  相似文献

Reaction of the cyanoruthenate anions [Ru(bpym)(CN)4]2- and [[Ru(CN)4]2(mu-bpym)]4- (bpym = 2,2'-bipyrimidine) with lanthanide(III) salts resulted in the crystallization of coordination networks based on Ru-CN-Ln bridges. Four types of structure were obtained: [Ru(bpym)(CN)4][Ln(NO3)(H2O)5] (Ru-Ln; Ln = Sm, Nd, and Gd) are one-dimensional helical chains; [Ru(bpym)(CN)4]2[Ln(NO3)(H2O)2][Ln(NO3)(0.5)(H2O)(5.5)](NO3)(0.5).5.5H2O (Ru-Ln; Ln = Er and Yb) are two-dimensional sheets containing cross-linked chains based on Ru2Ln2(mu-CN)4 diamond units, which are linked into one-dimensional chains via shared Ru atoms; [[Ru(CN)4]2(mu-bpym)][Ln(NO3)(H2O)5]2.3H2O (Ru2-Ln; Ln = Nd and Sm) are one-dimensional ladders with parallel Ln-NC-Ru-CN-Ln-NC strands connected by the bipyrimidine "cross pieces" acting as rungs on the ladder; and [[Ru(CN)4]2(mu-bpym)][Ln(H2O)6](0.5)[Ln(H2O)4](NO3)(0.5).nH2O (Ru2-Ln; Ln = Eu, Gd, and Yb; n = 8.5, 8.5, and 8, respectively) are three-dimensional networks in which two-dimensional sheets of Ru2Ln2(mu-CN)4 diamonds are connected via cyanide bridges to Ln(III) ions between the layers. Whereas Ru-Gd shows weak triplet metal-to-ligand charge-transfer (3MLCT) luminescence in the solid state from the Ru-bipyrimidine chromophore, in Ru-Nd, Ru-Er, and Ru-Yb, the Ru-based emission is quenched, and all of these show, instead, sensitized lanthanide-based near-IR luminescence following a Ru --> Ln energy transfer. Similarly, Ru2-Nd and Ru2-Yb show lanthanide-based near-IR emission following excitation of the Ru-bipyrimidine chromophore. Time-resolved luminescence measurements suggest that the Ru --> Ln energy-transfer rate is faster (when Ln = Yb and Er) than in related complexes based on the [Ru(bipy)(CN)4]2- chromophore, because the lower energy of the Ru-bpym 3MLCT provides better spectroscopic overlap with the low-energy f-f states of Yb(III) and Er(III). In every case, the lanthanide-based luminescence is relatively short-lived as a result of the CN oscillations in the lattice.  相似文献

A series of cationic, trimetallic d/f/d complexes have been prepared which use a multidentate, macrocyclic amine phenol ligand to coordinate divalent first row d-block transition metal ions (TM) and lanthanides (Ln) ions in close proximity, desirable for magnetic studies. Isolable complexes of the d/f/d cluster compounds with the formula [Ln(TM)2(bcn)2]ClO4.nH2O, where H3bcn is tris-N, N', N'-(2-hydroxybenzyl)-1,4,7-triazacyclononane, TM = Zn(II) and Ni(II) and Ln = La(III), Nd(III), Gd(III), Dy(III), and Yb(III), were synthesized by a one-pot sequential reaction of stoichiometric amounts of H 3bcn with the TM(II) and Ln(III) metal ions. The spontaneously formed cationic complexes were characterized by a variety of analytical techniques including IR, NMR, +ESI-MS, and EA. The [TM(Hbcn)].nH2O and [TM3(bcn)2].nH2O complexes were also synthesized to probe the building blocks of the d/f/d coaggregated species. The solid-state X-ray crystal structures of [GdNi2(bcn)2(CH3CN)2]ClO4.CH3CN and [GdZn2(bcn)2(CH3CN)2]ClO4.CH3CN were determined to be nearly identical with each TM(II) encapsulated in an octahedral geometry by the N3O3 binding pocket of the bcn (3-) ligand. The eight coordinate Gd(III) was bicapped by two [TM(bcn)](-) moieties and coordinated by two solvent molecules. Because of the isostructurality of the [LnZn2(bcn)2]ClO4.nH2O and [LnNi2(bcn)2]ClO4.nH2O complexes, an empirical approach using the LnZn2 magnetic data was utilized to remove first-order anisotropic contributions from the LnNi2 species. Ferromagnetic spin interactions were determined for the [LnNi2(bcn)2]ClO4.nH2O complexes, where Ln = Gd(III), Dy(III), and Yb(III), while an antiferromagnetic exchange was observed for Ln = Nd(III).  相似文献

The hydrothermal reaction of Ln2O3 (Ln = Er, Gd, and Sm), pyridine-2,5-dicarboxylic acid (H2pydc), and Cu(II) reagents (CuO, Cu(OAc)2-2H2O, or CuCl2-2H2O) with a mole ratio of 1:2:4 resulted in the formation of six polymeric Cu(II)-Ln(III) complexes, [(Ln2Cu3(pydc)6(H2O)12)-4H2O]n (Ln = Er (1); Ln = Gd (2)), [(Ln4Cu2(pydc)8(H2O)12)-4H2O]n (Ln = Sm (3); Ln = Gd (4); Ln = Er (5)), and [(Gd2Cu2(pydc)4(H2O)8)-Cu(pydc)2-12H2O]n (6). 1 and 2 are isomorphous and crystallize in triclinic space group Ponebar. Compounds 3-5 are isomorphous and crystallize in monoclinic space group P2(1)/c. Compound 6 crystallizes in triclinic space group Ponebar. Complexes 1 and 2 have one-dimensional zigzag chain structures and compounds 3-5 display three-dimensional wavelike polymeric structures, while 6 has an infinite sandwich-type structure. The different structures of the complexes are induced by the different forms of Cu(II) reagents; the reactions of Cu(OAc)2-2H2O yield high Cu/Ln ratio products 1, 2, and 6, while the reactions of CuO or CuCl2-2H2O/2,2'-bipyridine results in low Cu/Ln ratio compounds 3-5. Temperature-dependent magnetic susceptibilities for 2, 4, and 5 were studied, and the thermal stabilities of complexes 2 and 4 were examined.  相似文献

Six heterometallic compounds based on the building block [Cr(bpy)(CN)4]- (bpy = 2,2'-bipyridine) with secondary and/or tertiary coligands as modulators, {Mn(H2O)2[Cr(bpy)(CN)4]2}n (1), {Mn(bpy)(H2O)[Cr(bpy)(CN)4]2 x H2O}n (2), [Mn(bpy)2][Cr(bpy)(CN)4]2 x 5H2O (3), {[Mn(dca)(bpy)(H2O)][Cr(bpy)(CN)4] x H2O}n (4) (dca = N(CN)2(-)), {Mn(N3)(CH3OH)[Cr(bpy)(CN)4] x 2H2O}n (5), and {Mn(bpy)(N3)(H2O)[Cr(bpy)(CN)4] x H2O}2 (6), have been prepared and characterized structurally and magnetically. X-ray crystallography reveals that the compounds 1, 2, 4, and 5 consist of one-dimensional (1D) chains with different structures: a 4,2-ribbon-like chain, a branched zigzag chain, a 2,2-CC zigzag chain, and a 3,3-ladder-like chain, respectively. It also reveals that compound 3 has a trinuclear [MnCr2] structure, and compound 6 has a tetranuclear [Mn2Cr2] square structure. Magnetic studies show antiferromagnetic interaction between Cr(III) and Mn(II) ions in all compounds. All of the chain compounds exhibit metamagnetic behaviors with different critical temperatures (Tc) and critical fields (Hc; at 1.8 K): 3.2 K and 3.0 kOe for 1; 2.3 K and 4.0 kOe for 2; 2.1 K and 1.0 kOe for 4; and 4.7 K and 5.0 kOe for 5, respectively. The noncentrosymmetric compound 2 is also a weak ferromagnet at low temperature because of spin canting. The magnetic analyses reveal Cr-Mn intermetallic magnetic exchange constants, J, of -4.7 to -9.4 cm(-1) (H = -JS(Cr) x S(Mn)). It is observed that the antiferromagnetic interaction through the Mn-N-C-Cr bridge increases as the Mn-N-C angle (theta) decreases to the range of 155-180 degrees, obeying an empirical relationship: J = -40 + 0.2theta. This result suggests that the best overlap between t(2g) (high-spin Mn(II)) and t(2g) (low-spin Cr(III)) occurs at an angle of approximately 155 degrees.  相似文献

Reactions between the complex [MnII(L)]2+, where L is a N3O2 macrocyclic ligand, and different cyanometalate precursors such as [M(CN)n]m- (M(III) = Cr, Fe; M(II) = Fe, Ni, Pd, Pt) lead to cyano-bridged molecular assemblies exhibiting a variety of structural topologies. The reaction between [MnII(L)]2+ and [FeII(CN)6]4- forms a trinuclear complex with formula [(MnII(L)(H2O))2(FeII(micro-CN)2(CN)4)] x 2MeOH x 10H2O (1) which crystallizes in the triclinic space group P1. The reaction between [MnII(L)]2+ and [M(II)(CN)4]2-, where M(II) = Ni (2), Pd (3), Pt (4), gives rise to three isostructural linear chain compounds with stoichiometry [(MnII(L))(M(II)(micro-CN)2(CN)2)]n and which crystallize in the monoclinic space group C2/c. The self-assembly between [MnII(L)]2+ with [M(III)(CN)6]3-, where M(III) = Cr (5), Fe (6, 7, 8), forms three types of compounds. Compounds 5 and 6 are isostructural (monoclinic, space group P2(1)/n), and the structures comprise anionic linear chains [(MnII(L))(M(III)(micro-CN)2(CN)4)]n(n-) with cationic trinuclear complexes [(MnII(L)(H2O))2(M(III)(micro-CN)2(CN)4)]+ as counterions. Using an excess of K3[FeIII(CN)6], an analogous compound to 6 but with K+ as counterion is obtained (7), which crystallizes in the triclinic space group P1. Compound 8 consists of 2-D layers with formula [(MnII(L))3(FeIII(micro-CN)4(CN)2)(FeIII(micro-CN)2(CN)4)]n x 2nMeOH; it crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/n. The magnetic properties were investigated for all samples. In particular, compound 5, which shows antiferromagnetic exchange interactions between Mn(II) and Cr(III) ions through cyanide bridging ligands, has been studied in detail; the magnetic exchange parameter amounts to J = -7.5(7) cm(-1). Compound 8 shows a magnetically ordered phase below 6.4 K which is confirmed by M?ssbauer spectroscopy; two hyperfine split spectra were observed below Tc from which IJI values of 2.1 and 1.6 cm(-1) could be deduced.  相似文献

Solvatomorphism has been found between two series of complexes of the composition [M(bpy)3]2[NbO(C2O4)3]Cl.nH2O [M = Fe2+ (1, 2), Co2+ (3, 4), Ni2+ (5, 6), Cu2+ (7) and Zn2+ (8, 9); bpy = 2,2'-bipyridine)], crystallizing in the monoclinic space group P2 1/c [3, 5, 8 (n = 11)] or in the orthorhombic space group P21 21 21 [2, 4, 6, 7 (n = 12)]. All the structures contain two symmetry independent [M(bpy)3]2+ cations, one [NbO(C2O4)3]3- anion, one Cl(-) anion, and crystal water molecules. The cations possess a trigonally distorted octahedral geometry, with an additional tetragonal distortion in 7. Analysis of crystal packing reveals a specific type of supramolecular contact comprising four bipyridine ligands from two neighbouring [M(bpy)3]2+ cations--quadruple aryl embrace (QAE) contact. The contact is realized by the alignment of two molecular two-fold rotation axes, preserving the parallel orientation of the molecular three-fold rotation axes. The resulting two-dimensional honeycomb lattices of [M(bpy)3]2+ cations are placed between the hydrogen bonding layers made of [NbO(C2O4)3]3- and Cl(-) anions and the majority of the crystal water molecules. The temperature-dependent magnetic susceptibility measurements (1.8-300 K) show a significant orbital angular momentum contribution for 3 and 4 (high-spin Co2+), the influence of zero-field splitting for 5 and 6(Ni2+) and a substantially paramagnetic Curie behaviour for the Cu2+ compound (7).  相似文献

The reaction between Ln(NO3)3*xH2O, Cs3[W(V)(CN)8]*H2O and 2,2':6',2'-terpyridine (terpy) leads to the original isomorphous cyano-bridged [Ln(III)(terpy)(DMF)4][W(V)(CN)8] *6H2O [Ln = Gd (1), Sm (2)] 1-D chains. The crystal structures of {Ln(III)W(V)} chains and consist of alternating {[W(CN)8]} and {[Ln(terpy)]} building blocks. The neighbouring 1-D chains are weakly linked through pi-pi stacking interactions of the aromatic rings leading to 2-D supramolecular layers. The layers are linked through hydrogen bonds between H2O molecules and terminal cyano ligands. Magnetic studies revealed a weak antiferromagnetic coupling (J = -2.3(2) K) within the {Gd(III)W(V)} chains in . The positive effective coupling constant J = +2.0(5) K between the total angular momentum of the Sm(III) centre and the spin of the W(v) ion is equivalent to an antiferromagnetic character of the spin coupling between both centres in the {Sm(III)W(V)} chains of 2. The magnetic measurements suggest that they display an isolated magnetic chain behaviour.  相似文献

Two series of novel complexes, [Ln(dca)(2)(Phen)(2)(H(2)O)(3)](dca).(phen) (Ln = Pr (1), Gd (2), and Sm (3), dca = N(CN)(-), phen = 1,10-phenanthroline) and [Ln(dca)(3)(2,2'-bipy)(2)(H(2)O)](n), (Ln = Gd (4), Sm (5), and La (6), 2,2'-bipy = 2,2'-bipydine), have been synthesized and structurally characterized by X-ray crystallography. The crystal structures of the first series (1-3) are isomorphous and consist of discrete [Ln(dca)(2)(Phen)(2)(H(2)O)(3)]+ cations, dca anions, and lattice phen molecules; whereas the structures of the second series (4-6) are characterized by infinite chains [Ln(dca)(3)(2,2'-bipy)(2)(H(2)O)](n). The Ln(III) atoms in all complexes are nine-coordinated and form a distorted tricapped trigonal prism environment. The three-dimensional frameworks of 1-6 are constructed by intermolecular hydrogen bond interactions. Variable-temperature magnetic susceptibility measurements for complexes 1, 2, 4, and 5 indicate a Curie-Weiss paramagnetic behavior over 5-300 K.  相似文献

The reaction of diglycolic acid, O(CH2CO2H)2, with Cu(NO3)2·2H2O and lanthanoid nitrate hydrate produces a series of novel Ln–Cu mixed metal complexes, [Ln2Cu3{O(CH2CO2)2}6]·nH2O (Ln=La, Nd, n=9; Ln=Er, n=6), which have been characterized by elemental analysis, i.r. spectroscopy, magnetic measurements and X-ray crystallography. The Ln3+ and Cu2+ ions are connected by the carboxylate groups of the ligands, resulting in the formation of a complicated network.  相似文献

In order to model the photoinduced electron-transfer reactions from the manganese cluster to the photoactive P680 chlorophylls in photosystem II, three heterohexanuclear complexes, [Mn2III,IVO2[RuII(bpy)2(Ln)]4]11+ [bpy = 2,2'-bipyridine, n = 2 (1a), 4 (1b), 6 (1c)], in which one MnIII,IV(micro-O)2 center is covalently linked to four RuII(bpy)3-like moieties by bridged bis(bipyridine) Ln ligands, have been synthesized and characterized. The electrochemical, photophysical, and photochemical properties of these complexes have been investigated in CH3CN. The cyclic voltammograms and rotating-disk electrode curves of the three complexes show the presence of two very close successive reversible oxidation processes corresponding to the Mn2III,IV/Mn2IV,IV and RuII/RuIII redox couples (estimated E1/2 approximately 0.82 and 0.90 V, respectively). The lower potential of the Mn2III,IV subunit compared to those of the RuII moieties indicates that the RuIII species can act as an efficient oxidant toward the Mn2III,IV core. The two oxidized forms of the complexes [Mn2IV,IVO2[RuII(bpy)2(Ln)]4]12+ (2a-c) and [Mn2IV,IVO2[RuIII(bpy)2(Ln)]4]16+ (3a-c) obtained in good yields (>90% for 2a-c and >85% for 3a-c) by sequential electrolyses are very stable. Photophysical studies show that the 3MLCT excited state of the Ru(bpy)3 centers is moderately quenched by the Mn2III,IV(micro-O)2 core (15-25% depending on the length of the bridging alkyl chain). Nevertheless, this energy transfer can be easily short-circuited in the presence of an external irreversible electron acceptor like the (4-bromophenyl)diazonium cation, by an electron transfer leading, in a stepwise fashion, to the stable one- and five-electron-oxidized species 2a-c and 3a-c, respectively, also in good yields, under continuous irradiation of the solutions. Electro- and photoinduced oxidation experiments have been followed by UV-visible and electron paramagnetic resonance spectroscopy.  相似文献

A new series of lanthanide-containing dicyanoaurate coordination polymers, [(n)Bu(4)N](2)[Ln(NO(3))(4)Au(CN)(2)] (Ln = Nd, Eu, Gd or Tb), were synthesized and structurally characterized. They form an isomorphous series, crystallizing in the space group I2(1)2(1)2(1). The structure is composed of a one dimensional zigzag of Ln-N-C-Au-C-N-Ln chains with no intra- or inter-chain aurophilic interactions. The series is related to and can be described as a reduced dimensionality analogue of the previously studied Ln[Au(CN)(2)](3)·3H(2)O. Unlike the Ln[Au(CN)(2)](3)·3H(2)O series, there is no efficient energy transfer between dicyanoaurate and the lanthanide metal centers in the complexes and they essentially act as two separate emissive chromophores.  相似文献

Seven new cyano-bridged heterometallic systems have been prepared by assembling [M'(rac-CTH)]n+ complexes (M' = CrIII, NiII, CuII), which have two cis available coordination positions, and [M(CN)6]3- (M = FeIII, CrIII) and [Fe(CN)2(bpy)2]+ cyanometalate building blocks. The assembled systems, which have been characterized by X-ray crystallography and magnetic investigations, are the molecular squares (meso-CTH-H2)[{Ni(rac-CTH)}2{Fe(CN)6)}2].5H2O (2) and [{Ni(rac-CTH)}2{Fe(CN)2(bpy)2}2](ClO4)4.H2O (5), the bimetallic chain [{Ni(rac-CTH)}2{Cr(CN)6)}2Ni(meso-CTH)].4H2O (3), the trimetallic chain [{Ni(rac-CTH)}2{Fe(CN)6)}2Cu(cyclam)]6H2O (4), the pentanuclear complexes [{Cu(rac-CTH}3{Fe(CN)6}2].2H2O (6) and [{Cu(rac-CTH)}3{Cr(CN)6)}2].2H2O (7), and the dinuclear complex [Cr(rac-CTH)(H2O)Fe(CN)6].2H2O (8). With the exception of 5, all compounds exhibit ferromagnetic interaction between the metal ions (JFeNi = 12.8(2) cm-1 for 2; J1FeCu= 13.8(2) cm-1 and J2FeCu= 3.9(4) cm-1 for 6; J1CrCu= 6.95(3) cm-1 and J2CrCu= 1.9(2)cm-1 for 7; JCrFe = 28.87(3) cm-1 for 8). Compound 5 exhibits the end of a transition from the high-spin to the low-spin state of the octahedral FeII ions. The bimetallic chain 3 behaves as a metamagnet with a critical field Hc = 300 G, which is associated with the occurrence of week antiferromagnetic interactions between the chains. Although the trimetallic chain 4 shows some degree of spin correlation along the chain, magnetic ordering does not occur. The sign and magnitude of the magnetic exchange interaction between CrIII and FeIII in compound 8 have been justified by DFT type calculations.  相似文献

A series of cyano-bridged Ln(III)Ru(III)2 coordination polymers, Ph4P{Ln(NO3)2[Ru(acac)2(CN)2]2} [Ln = Tb (1), Dy (2), Er (3), Gd (4); Hacac = acetylacetone] have been synthesized by the reaction of Ln(NO3)3 with trans-Ph4P[Ru(acac)2(CN)2] in methanol. X-ray crystallographic determination reveals that these compounds are isostructural and have a wavy (4,4) layer structure with the Ln3+ ions bridged by trans-[Ru(acac)2(CN)2]-. Magnetic studies shows that the magnetic coupling between the Ln(III) and Ru(III) ions through the cyano bridges in 1-4 is negligibly weak.  相似文献

At room temperature in CH(3)CN, both neodymium(III) (2 and 7) and ytterbium(III) (5 and 10) complexes also exhibited, in addition to the ligand-centered emission in the UV-vis region, their lanthanide(III) ion emission in the near-infrared (NIR) region. The photophysical properties of the zinc(II) phenylene-bridged complexes (ZnL1 and ZnL2) were measured and compared with those of the corresponding zinc(II) ethylene-bridged complexes (ZnL3 and ZnL4). Our results revealed that, at 77 K, both ligand-centered triplet (3LC) and singlet (1LC) states existed for the ethylene-bridged complexes (ZnL3 and ZnL4), whereas only the (1)LC state was detected for the phenylene-bridged complexes (ZnL1 and ZnL2). NIR sensitization studies of [Zn(mu-L')Nd(NO3)3(H2O)n] (L' = L1-L4) complexes further showed that Nd3+ sensitization took place via the 3LC and 1LC states when the spacer between the imine groups of the Schiff base ligand was an ethylene and a phenylene unit, respectively. Ab initio calculations show that the observed differences can be attributed to the difference in the molecular vibrational properties and electron densities of the electronic states between the ethylene- and phenylene-bridged complexes.  相似文献

Three heterometallic Cr-Mn compounds, {Mn(mu-ox)0.5(H2O) [Cr(phen)(CN)4]}n.n H2O.2n CH3OH, (1), {Mn(mu-ox)0.5(H2O)[Cr(bpy)(CN)4]}n.2n H2O x n CH3OH, (2), and {Mn(mu-ox)0.5(bpy)[Cr(bpy)(CN)4]}n, (3) (ox = oxalate), containing cyanide and oxalate bridges based on building blocks [Cr(L)(CN)4]- (L = phen and 2,2'-bipyridine) have been prepared. A new approach was first employed to synthesize ox-bridged compounds via facile oxidation-hydrolysis reactions of diaminomaleonitrile. X-ray crystallography revealed that the structures of 1 and 2 are similar, where cyano-bridged corrugated ladderlike chains are further connected through bis-bidentate oxalato bridges to unique two-dimensional layered structures. Of note is that the introduction of 2,2'-bipyridine led to an interesting cluster-based chainlike compound (3) with cyano-bridged squares [Mn2Cr2] extended by ox bridges. Magnetic studies show antiferromagnetic (AF) interaction between cyano-bridged Cr(III)-Mn(II) and ox-bridged Mn(II)-Mn(II) ions, with the result that 1 and 2 exhibit AF ordering with spin-flop behaviors below 18 and 19 K, respectively.  相似文献
