We study the formation of deeply bound pionic atoms in the (d,3He) reaction theoretically. At different scattering angles, we find that the different subcomponents dominate the formation spectra because of the matching condition of the reaction. We also find that the pionic 1s state which is free from the residual interaction effects appears clearly in 117Sn(d, 3He) spectra. We conclude that the observation of the (d,3He) reaction for these new cases will provide more systematic and accurate information on the pionic bound states, and it will help to develop the study of the pion properties and the partial restoration of chiral symmetry in nuclei.  相似文献

Trinucleon molecular structures in 6He and 6Be were investigated by using the 6Li(7Li, 7Be)6He reaction at 455 MeV and 6Li(3He, t)6Be reaction at 450 MeV, respectively. Binary decays into t + t from a broad state at E x =18.0±1.0 MeV in 6He and into 3He + 3He from one at E x =18.0±1.2 MeV in 6Be, respectively, were observed by measuring trinucleon cluster decays in coincidence with reaction particles. The branching ratios for binary decay were estimated to be about 0.7 for 6He and 6Be. These large branching ratios show that a trinucleon cluster state exists as an isobaric partner around E x =18 MeV in 6He and 6Be.  相似文献

Data are reported for the photodisintegration cross section of the reaction 3He(??, p)2H at ten energies between 7.0 and 16.0?MeV. Very preliminary data are presented for the reaction 4He(??, p)3H between 22.0 and 29.5?MeV in 0.5?MeV energy steps, and for the reaction 4He(??, n)3He at three energies around 28.0?MeV. High-pressure He/Xe gas scintillators served as target and detector. Our data are in better agreement with recent theoretical calculations than the majority of the existing data for all three reactions, but differ significantly from recent data taken with a mono-energetic photon beam and a time-projection chamber.  相似文献

On the basis of T invariance, it is established that the dependence of the effective cross section for a binary reaction of the a+bc+d type on the polarization vectors of primary particles a and b determines completely the polarization vectors and spin correlations for the same particles in the inverse reaction c+da+b induced by collisions between unpolarized primary particles c and d. By using the formalism of helicity amplitudes, polarization effects are studied in the process p+3He → π++4He and in the inverse process π++4He → p+3He. It is shown that, in the reaction π++4He → p+3He, the spins of the final-state particles (proton and 3He nucleus) are strongly correlated. An expression for the correlation tensor is obtained for arbitrary values of the (p, 3He) emission angle.  相似文献

The neutron-transfer reaction d(6He, p)7He is investigated. The data obtained show that, in the range between 1 and 7 MeV above its ground-state resonance, 7He does not have well-pronounced narrow excited states with a single-particle structure. A resonance state of 5H with an energy of 2 MeV above the n+n+3H decay threshold is obtained for the first time by making use of the reaction p(6He, 2He)5H.  相似文献

A new Penning-electron-Penning-ion coincidence method is described. It is applied to the study of the thermal reaction of He(23S) with H2. The main results reported are separate electron energy spectra that are coincident with the three different ions formed: HeH2+, HeH+ and H2+. Based on these results it is shown that the Penning reaction of the He(23S)/H 2 system proceeds in two well-separated steps: (i) ionization at distances R (HeH2) ? 6a0 in which H2+ (v) is formed in different vibrational states; and (ii) reactive collision of H2+ (v) with He. For the second step the variation of the branching ratios with vibrational quantum numbers v = 0 to v = 10 is derived, and it is shown that these branching ratios may be regarded as relative vibrational-energy-dependent cross-sections for the collision of H2+ (v) with He at an average relative kinetic energy of ~20 meV.  相似文献

Differential cross sections for the (3He, t) charge-exchange reaction have been measured on a 12C target with 217 MeV 3He particles. High energy tritons were detected using a thick Ge(Li) crystal (43 mm) and a 4 mm Si(Li) detector in an E-ΔE telescope. Microscopic DWBA calculations have been carried out, using the rather well known wave functions of the 12C levels from Gillet and Vinh-Mau. The sensitivity of this reaction to the different terms of the two-body effective interaction is discussed. A comparison of the (3He, t) and (3He, 3He') reactions populating analog final states is also presented. The two-step mechanisms (3He,α)(α, t) and (3He, d)(d, t) are introduced for the first two levels 1+(g.s.) and 2+(0.969 MeV) and the results emphasize the importance of such processes at high energy.  相似文献

Experiments on the reaction:3He+3He→4He+2He using a single four detector telescope have shown evidence for the production of deuteron pulses, consistent with the2He→2H+e++v fusion reaction in the final state. New measurements on the same reaction using improved techniques viz.A) a windowless3He gas target andB) α- d correlation detection with 5 ns resolving time and antipileup circuitry have been performed. Calibrations were obtained from the7Li+3He→2H+4He+4He reaction spectra. The correlation angles were 30° and 97° for the alphas and deuterons respectively. Deuteron pulses have been observed, correlated with alpha particles. A cross section of (1.7 ±0.5)nbsr?1MeV?1 was obtained consistent with previous measurements using a single telescope.  相似文献

In the first part of the contribution, we discuss the results of a recent benchmark calculation of n ? 3H and p ? 3He phase-shifts below the trinucleon disintegration thresholds. Three different methods—Alt, Grassberger and Sandhas, Hyperspherical Harmonics, and Faddeev–Yakubovsky—have been used and their results are compared. For both n ? 3H and p ? 3He we observe a rather good agreement between the three different theoretical methods. In the second part of the contribution, we study the longitudinal asymmetry ${A_z^{n^3{\rm He}}}$ in the 3He(n, p)3H reaction in order to obtain information about the parity-violating components of the nucleon–nucleon interaction.  相似文献

This paper reports on measurements of the 3He(e,epp) reaction measured at AmPS and the 3He(e,epn) reaction measured at MAMI. The measurements were performed in similar kinematics to allow a comparison to be made between the cross sections of the two reactions. Results are shown for both reactions together with a comparison for the 3He(e,epp) data with continuum Faddeev calculations.  相似文献

The energy spectrum of electrons emitted in the reaction of He(23S) and He(21S) with SO2 indicates that in addition to the covalent entrance channel a strongly attractive ionic channel plays a role. We find upper limits for the well depth of the potential curve that corresponds to the latter channel of De ? 3.5 eV and De ? 4.3 eV for He(23S) and He(21S) as the reaction partner, respectively. The partitioning between the two entrance channels can be understood by assuming the coupling matrix between both channels to depend strongly on the orientation of the SO2 molecule with respect to the incident metastable He*.  相似文献

Reactions 45Sc(3He, αn)43Sc, 45Sc(3He, α)44Sc, and 45Sc(3He, 2p)46Sc, resulting from the irradiation of scandium targets with a beam of 3He ions with energy from 5 to 24 MeV, are investigated in experiments on the U120M cyclotron of the Nuclear Physics Institute (Rez, Czech Republic). The activation technique is used to find the yield of the produced Sc isotopes. The induced γ activity in the targets is measured using a high-resolution HPGe detector. Despite the low binding energy of 3He and positive reaction Q values, which leads to formation of the 44Sc and 46Sc isotopes, the behavior of the excitation functions for the formation of these isotopes differs from the behavior of the excitation function for deuterons. Scandium-44 formation cross sections reach their maximum at the reaction Coulomb barrier. This is because not only 44Sc but also a stable 4He nucleus is formed in the reaction.  相似文献

To estimate the probability of two-neutron configuration in halo nuclei, an experimental method for studying neutron-neutron correlations at the periphery of such nuclei by measuring the two-neutron transfer reaction is proposed. Experimental investigation of the 6He + A4He + B reaction was performed using a 60-MeV 6He radioactive beam at the Flerov Laboratory of Nuclear Reactions (Joint Institute for Nuclear Research, Dubna); the technique of nuclear photoemulsions was applied. Search for events of the two-nucleon transfer reaction was performed at the PAVIKOM setup (Lebedev Physical Institute, Russian Academy of Sciences).  相似文献

The halo nucleus 6He has been studied in a pionic fusion experiment at the CELSIUS storage ring facility in Uppsala. The 6He nuclei were produced in reactions with a deuteron beam incident on a 4He jet target 0.9–5.4 MeV above threshold in the center-of-mass frame. The 6He ions were detected in a ΔE-E solid-state detector telescope inserted into the CELSIUS ring. The aim of the experiment was to investigate, in particular, the high-momentum part of the halo wave function by measuring the total and differential cross sections of the reaction d+4He→6He+π +.  相似文献

The fission cross sections for the 6He + 209Bi reaction as functions of the 6He-beam energy are measured. The experimental excitation functions for the reaction 209Bi(6He, 4n)211 At are also presented. The 6He secondary ion beam is obtained on the basis of the extracted-beam transport system of the U400-M accelerator (the Q4DQ spectrometer). A comparison of the experimental data obtained with available results for the 6He + 209Bi reaction shows that a pronounced enhancement of the fission cross sections in the above-barrier energy region is observed in the case of the reaction with the 6He beam. In order to fit the results of theoretical calculations to the experimental data, it is necessary to reduce the Coulomb barrier by 15% (20%). This corresponds to an increase of 1.5 (1.6) fm in the parameter r 0 of the nuclear potential.  相似文献

The D(3He, p)4He reaction is first investigated in a solid target of deuterated zirconium (ZrD) in the 3He+ ion energy range EHe = 18–30 (E = 7.2?12.0keV keV in the center-of-mass system) with a step of 2 keV. The electron screening potential Ue = (617.8 ± 154.7) eV and the D(3He, p)4He reaction enhancement factors are experimentally determined in the given energy range. The measured electron screening potential is six times higher than in gaseous targets. This can be due to the ZrD lattice effects, which have not been studied either theoretically or experimentally so far. The D(3He, p)4He reaction has been investigated at the pulsed plasma Hall accelerator (Tomsk).  相似文献

Angular distributions of tritons from the 6Li(n, t)4He reaction were measured at En = 7.25, 6.77, 6.57, 5.24 and 4.71 MeV. Angular distributions of douterons from respectively, the 6Li(n, d)5He two-body breakup reaction were measured at En = 6.77 and 6.57 MeV, and of protons from the 6Li(n, p)6He reaction at En = 6.77, 5.24 and 4.71 MeV. All these reactions in 6Li were analyzed as direct interaction in the formalism of the distorted wave Born approximation. The optical model for the nuclear interaction was found to apply reasonably well to nuclei as light as 4He, 5He, 6He and 6Li. In addition, 6Li as an alpha-deuteron cluster gives the best bound-state wave function to describe the experimental angular distribution of tritons. The excitation functions at forward angles of the 6Li(n, t)4He, 6Li(n, d)5He and 6Li(n, p)6He reactions were measured for incident neutron energies between 4.4 and 7.3 MeV. It is found that the 6Li(n, d)5He two-body breakup reaction has a threshold at about En = 5.3 MeV. Angular distributions at En = 18.3 MeV for tritons and protons from the 9Be(n, t)7Li and 9Be(n, p)9Li, respectively, were also measured.  相似文献

Measurements of the α-n angular correlation in the sequential reaction 7Li (d,α) 5He (g.s) → 4He + n indicate V that the 5He intermediate state does not break up symmetrically about the recoil centre-of-mass system. The angular correlation can be explained in terms of a compound nuclear reaction proceeding through levels in 9Be1.  相似文献
