This article describes the preparation and liquid crystalline properties of a new homologous series of 4-(4-bromopropyloxy)-4’- (4-alkyloxybenzylidene)anilines in which the phenyl ring is armed by a bromopropyloxy chain.The thermal behavior and mesomorphic properties of the synthesized compounds were studied with particular attention given to the correlation between their phase transition temperatures and anisotropic change influenced by molecular structure.All the members displayed enantiotropic smectic phase except for the homologue with the longest alkyloxy chain(R = C18H37),exhibiting only monotropic characteristic. The presence of bromine atom from the propyloxy side chain is found to be capable of altering and influencing the mesomorphic properties.  相似文献

A new series of liquid crystals comprising eight heterocyclic isoflavone esters,7-alkanoyloxy-3-[4’-(3-methylbutyloxyphenyl)]- 4H-1-benzopyran-4-ones exhibiting enantiotropic nematic(N) and smectic C(SmC) phases were synthesized and investigated.The mesomorphic properties of all derivatives were investigated by means of differential calorimetry and polarized optical microscopy. Wide angle X-ray diffraction technique was employed to investigate the molecular packing associated with the intermolecular interaction as well as the correlation between the thermal behaviour of these compounds with their anisotropy properties within a mesophase.  相似文献

<正>A homologous series of Schiff base esters,4-chlorobenzylidene-4'-n-alkanoyloxyanilines,containing even number of carbons at the end groups of the molecules(C_(n-1)H_(2n-1)COO-,n=4,6,8,10,12,14,16) were synthesized.The mesomorphic properties were investigated by differential scanning calorimetry(DSC) and polarizing optical microscopy(POM).It was found that the end groups of the molecules had an effect on the mesomorphic properties.n-Butanoyloxy was found non-mesogenic,whilst n-hexanoyloxy exhibited monotropic smectic phase.The higher members in this homologous series were enantiotropic smectogens.  相似文献

Sn1-2xFexNbxO2(0.45≤x≤0.50) samples were prepared at 1000 ℃ via a simple chemical co-precipitation method.The effects of the concentrations of Sn doped on the structures and magnetic properties of the samples have been investigated.A systematic variation from monoclinic to orthorhombic FeNbO4 structure was observed with increasing Sn content.The phase evolutions were observed from monoclinic structure with x=0.50 to the coexistence of monoclinic and orthorhombic structures with x=0.48,0.47,0.46,and then to orthorhombic structure with x=0.45.Antiferromagnetic behavior was observed for all the samples,and the magnetic ordering temperatures decrease with increasing Sn concentration,which further indicated the sequence of phase transitions.The results suggest that the incorporation of Sn can stabilize the orthorhombic FeNbO4.  相似文献

A series of catalysts LiLa_(1-x)Mn_xO_(2-λ)(x=0—1)were examined for the oxidative couplingof methane.A high C_2 yield of 22% was obtained.The structures and physico-chemical properties ofsamples have been studied by means of XRD,IR,XPS and SEM.It was found that some complex ox-ides could be formed as X value changed,among them the K_2NiF_4-type oxide La_2Mn_(1-y)Li_yO_(4-λ)was theactive phase for methane coupling,while the Li_2MnO_3 and LiMn_2O_4 were the active phases for completeoxidation of re.ethane.The increase of catalytic activity for methane coupling was attributed to theincrease of the amount of active site,namely,oxygen vacancy in oxide La_2Mn_(1-y)Li_yO_(4-λ)  相似文献

SrxBi1-xFeO3- (SBF) series mixed conductors were synthesized using Standard ceramic method. The properties of such materials were characterized by XRD, O2-TPD techniques. Ab-normal crystal phenomena were found and explained and correlated with the oxygen permeation results. By analysis of the critical radius (rc), the degree of openness of the lattice (Fv) and the average metal-oxygen bonding energy of the perovskite lattice (ABE), it was proposed that the oxygen permeation flux is determined mainly by the oxygen diffusion rate in bulk when 1-x≤0.5, and by the concentration of oxygen vacancy when 1-x≥ 0.5. The stability of Sr0.5Bi0.5FeO3- was also investigated, and the high stability of it was attributed to the stable BO6 octahedra.  相似文献

The kinetics of the oxidation of glycol by dihydroxyditelluratoargentate (Ⅲ) complex(DDA) was studied in alkaline medium with spectrophotometry(in a temperature range of 16.6-40 ℃).The first-order rates with respect to glycol and Ag(Ⅲ) were all found.The rates increased with the increase in [OH-] and decreased with the increase in [TeO2-4].No effect was found with the addition of KNO3 and no free radical was detected.In view of this,the dihydroxymonotelluratoargentate(Ⅲ) species(DMA) is assumed to be the active species.A plausible mechanism involving a two-electron transfer is proposed,and the rate equation derived from the mechanism can explain all experimental observations.Activation parameters of the rate-determining step and constants are evaluated.  相似文献

A novel diamine 4-[(4'-butoxyphenoxy)carbonyl]phenyl-3",5"-diaminobenzoate (BCDA) was synthesized from 4-butoxyphenol, 4-hydroxybenzoic acid and 3,5-dinitrobenzoic acid through four main intermediates, and a series of polyimides were also synthesized. All the intermediates and the final product were characterized by FTIR and 1H-NMR. The key step in synthesis route is selective hydrolyzation of two ester groups in 4-butoxyphenyl-4'-acetoxybenzoate, by adjusting the reaction temperature and the concentration of ammonia, shorteding the reaction time. The properties of the novel polyimides, such as the aggregation structures, glass transition temperature, solubility and the pretilt angles, were carried out.  相似文献

The double perovskite oxides Sr2Mg1-xF exMoO6-δ were investigated as catalysts for the methane oxidation.The structural properties of catalysts were characterized in detail by X-ray diffraction,X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and X-ray absorption spectroscopy.The catalytic property was strongly influenced by the Fe substitution.The relation between catalytic performance and the degree of Fe substitution was examined with regard to the structure and surface characteristics of the mixed oxides.The Fe-containing catalysts exhibited higher activity attributable to the possible(Fe2+,Mo6+) and (Fe3+,Mo5+)valency pairs,and the highest activity was observed for Sr2Mg0.2Fe0.8MoO6-δ.The enhancement of the catalytic activity may be correlated with the Fe-relating surface lattice oxygen species and was discussed in view of the presence of oxygen vacancies.  相似文献

The kinetics of oxidation of glycol by dihydroxydiperiodato nickelate ( Ⅳ) complex (DDN) was studied by spectrophotometry in aqueous alkaline medium in a temperature range of 25-40℃. The reaction was found to be first order with respect to Ni( Ⅳ ) and also to be first order with respect to glycol. The rate increases with the increase in [OH ] and decreases with the increase in [IO-4], showing that dihydroxymonoperiodatonickelate ( Ⅳ )(DMN) is the reactive species of oxidant. Salt effect indicated that the reaction is of ion-dipole type. No free radical was detected. A mechanism of an inner-sphere two-electron transfer reaction involving a preequilibrium between DDN and DMN is proposed, and the rate equation derived from the mechanism can explain all experimental observations. Activation parameters of the rate-determing step and the equilibrium constants were calculated.  相似文献

Five aza-crown-ethers were synthesized and four of them shown to have cholesteric liquid crystalline properties. Six series of meso-tetrakis (4-n-alkanoyloxyphenyl) porphyrin Co and Ni complexes (12 kinds) were reported. Nine of the compounds were found to exhibit liquid crystal properties and display a hexago-nal columnar discotic columnar (Colh) phase. Molecular structure of all synthesized compounds was confirmed by IR, UV, MS, 1H NMR, and elemental analysis. These liquid crystalline compounds have been studied by cyclic voltammetry, luminescence, and surface photovoltage spectroscopy.  相似文献

The segmented block copoly(ether ester)s were swollen by tetrahydrofuran (THF) at 60℃and formedfibers by gel-drawing. The morphology and properties of these fibers were investigated by optical and electron microscopes, X-ray diffraction, DSC and an Instron test machine. The band structure morphology was observed in the gel-drawing fibers. The molecular chains were highly oriented as proved by X-ray diffraction data. The results indicated that the gel-drawing fibers have much better mechanical properties than those obtained otherwise. The tensile strength and elastic modulus were found to be 280 MPa and 802 MPa, repsectively. The mechanism of the gel-drawlng process was also discussed.  相似文献

The crystal structure of guanidinlum pentamolybdobis(n-ainylphcsphonate), which contains the longest carbon chain hitherto known, was determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. It belongs to monoclinic, space group C2/c, Z = 4, 0=18.857(2), b=12.170(1), c=18. 294(2) A .β=102.73 (2), V=4095. 2A3.u= 140. 34 cm-1. The intensity data were collected on an Enraf-Nonius CAD4 diffractometer with MoKa radiation. The positions of all molybdenum and phosphorus atoms were determined by the direct method. The other non-hydrogen atoms were revealed by difference Fourier synthesis. The structure was refined by full-matrix least-squares procedure to a final R value of 0. 068. The structure of the anion is similar to [(CH2P)2Mo5O21]4-, [(NH3C2H4P)2Mo6O21]2-, [(n-C3H7As)2Mo5O21]--, and [(C3H5As)2Mo6O21]4-. It consists of a ring of five distorted MoO, octahedra joined by edge-sharing, except for one pair which is joined by corner- sharing. The structure and properties of poly(N-vinylcarbazole) (PVCZ) obtainedvia asymmetrically stereoselective polymerization have been studied by using ~1HNMRspectra, UV spectra, DSC analysis and GPC. The steric microstructure i.e. the contentof isotactic sequences was found to be increased by using AIBN to (-)Sp~+(+)CSA~- asthe initiators or catalysts and the mole extinction coefficient to be decreased. Bimodalmolecular weight distribution (MWD)s of the obtained PVCZs were caused by two propa-gating species of the free ions and the ion-pairs associated with the organic salts duringpolymerization.  相似文献

The X-ray crystal structures of (NH4)2(15-crown-5)3[Cu(mnt)2] (1) and (NH4)2(benzo-15-crown-5)4- [Cu(mnt)2]·0.5H2O (2) were determined. Two single crystals are composed of distinct structures of ammonium-crown ether supramolecular cation and [Cu(mnt)2]2- anion. The triple-decker dication in complex 1 and a sandwich dimmer in complex 2 were observed. X-Band EPR studies on the single crystals of both complex 1 and complex 2 have been carried out at room temperature, which revealed that complex 2 showed a perfect hyperfine structure of Cu whereas that of complex 1 could not be observed. The principal values and direction cosines of the principal axes of the g and A tensors were computed by a least-squares fitting procedure. The spin density of Cu(Ⅱ) was estimated according to the principal values of the A tensors and compared well with the results calculated based on DFT method.  相似文献

The interaction between 4-(4-hydroxybut-2-ynyloxy)-3-(phenylsulfonyl)-1,2,5-oxadiazole-2-oxide(FB)andbovine serum albumin(BSA)was studied by spectroscopic methods including fluorescence and UV-Vis absorptionspectroscopy.The quenching mechanism of fluorescence of BSA by FB was considered to be a dynamic quenchingprocedure.The number of binding sites n and apparent binding constant K were measured by fluorescence quench-ing method.The results indicate that there is FB molecular binding with BSA,and forming 1∶1 complex.Thethermodynamic parameters such as ΔH,ΔG and ΔS,etc.,were calculated.The results indicate that the binding reac-tion is mainly entropy-driven and hydrophobic forces play major role in the binding reaction.The distance r be-tween donor(BSA)and acceptor(FB)was obtained according to Frster theory of non-radioactive energy transfer.  相似文献

Dry reforming of methane by CO2 using nickel ferrite as precursor of catalysts was investigated.Nickel ferrite crystalline particles were prepared by coprecipitation of nitrates with NaOH or ammonia followed by calcination,or by hydrothermal synthesis without calcination step.The textural and structural properties were determined by a number of analysis methods,including X-ray diffraction (XRD),Raman spectroscopy and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS),among which X-ray diffraction (XRD) was at room and variable temperatures.All synthesized oxides showed the presence of micro or nanoparticles of NiFe2O4 inverse spinel,but Fe2O3 (hematite) was also present when ammonia was used for coprecipitation.The reducibility by hydrogen was studied by temperature-programmed reduction (TPR) and in situ XRD,which showed the influence of the preparation method.The surface area (BET),particle size (Rietveld refinement),as well as surface Ni/Fe atomic ratio (XPS) and the behavior upon reduction varied according to the synthesis method.The catalytic reactivity was investigated using isopropanol decomposition to determine the acid/base properties.The catalytic performance of methane reforming with CO2 was measured with and without the pre-treatment of catalysts under H2 in 650-800 C range.The catalytic conversions of methane and CO2 were quite low but they increased when the catalysts were pre-reduced.A significant contribution of reverse water gas shift reaction accounted for the low values of H2 /CO ratio.No coking was observed as shown by the reoxidation step performed after the catalytic reactions.The possible formation of nickel-iron alloy observed during the study of reducibility by hydrogen was invoked to account for the catalytic behavior.  相似文献

The hybrid clone FD1 constructed by fusion of Chinese hamster cell line Wg3-h with human lymphocyte was irradiated with X-ray. Fourteen survival clones were isolated and 3 of them, F5B, F52B, F61A were analyzed in detail by cytogenetic and biochemical methods. The results of chromosome Gbanding followed by Giemsa-11 differential staining show that there exists a deleted human chromosome 4 in all of the three hybrids. This deletion of human chromosome 4 in F61A is 4pter→4q21. The results of isozyme analysis of phosphoglucomutase-2 (PGM2) which is located on 4p14→4q21 confirm our cytogenetic conclusion. We used polyaerylamide gel electrophoresis to study the alcohol dehydrogenase (ADH) in human lymphocyte, Wg3-h and hybrid clones. Their electrophoretic pattern showed that human ADH isozyme did express, in the peripheral blood lymphocyte, hybrids FSB, F52B, F61A and FD1. According to these results, we suggest that one of the Class 1 ADH structural genes is located on the human chromosome 4pter→4q21. Rec  相似文献
