We present a unified approach to obtain sharp mean-squared and multiplicative inequalities of Hardy-Littlewood-Pólya and Taikov types for multiple closed operators acting on Hilbert space. We apply our results to establish new sharp inequalities for the norms of powers of the Laplace-Beltrami operators on compact Riemannian manifolds and derive the well-known Taikov and Hardy-Littlewood-Pólya inequalities for functions defined on the d-dimensional space in the limit case. Other applications include the best approximation of unbounded operators by linear bounded ones and the best approximation of one class by elements of another class. In addition, we establish sharp Solyar type inequalities for unbounded closed operators with closed range.

In this paper, we prove some type of logarithmic Sobolev inequalities (with parameters) for operators in semi-direct product forms (see Sect. 1 for a precise definition). This generalizes the tensorization procedure for this type of inequalities and allows to deal with some operators with varying coefficients. We provide many examples of applications and obtain ultracontractive bounds for some of these operators by using appropriate Hardy’s type inequalities necessary for our method. This theory is developed in the setting of carré du champ with diffusion property.  相似文献

The paper considers Volterra type integral operators acting in L2(T), where T is a partially ordered topological space as well as equations and inequalities related to them. For the linear operators of this type it is shown that they are quasinilpotent. Explicit estimates for the solutions of linear integral inequalities have been obtained. An absolute value equation is established for linear combinations of two operators. When the parameters take special values, the parallelogram law of operator type is given. In addition, the operator equation in literature [3] and its equivalent deformation are obtained. Based on the equivalent deformation of the operator equation and using the properties of conjugate number as well as the operator, an absolute value identity of multiple operators is given by means of mathematical induction. As Corollaries, Bohr inequalities are extended to multiple operators and some related inequalities are reduced to, such as inequalities in [2] and [3].  相似文献
