Holomorphe Differentialformen auf algebraischen Varietäten mit Singularitäten I

Let X be a projective algebraic variety over of dimension d, reduced and irreducible. In this paper we propose a definition for differential forms w of degree d on X to be holomorphic at an arbitrary point of X (which may be a singular point). It will be shown that the holomorphic d-forms define a sheaf _X, which coincides with the usual sheaf of holomorphic d-forms _X in case X has no singularities. Moreover, _X is isomorphic to the canonical sheaf of Grothendieck [5]:, (if X is a closed subvariety of ⁿ). Thus in the Serre duality theorem for projective varieties with singularities may be replaced by _X.

We investigate several series of closure theorems which can be considered as properties of projectivities in general projective planes. Most of them postulate that the projectivity = [1₁R₂1₃] ... [1_2n-1R₀1₁] (indices modulo 2n) or ² should be the identity if the lines 1_i or the points R_j satisfy special incidence conditions. This way of construction leads to some generalizations of well-known propositions as for example the great and little Desarguesian, the Pappian theorem and some other interesting cases. We prefer the synthetic method to determine the class of planes in which these closure theorems hold. In one case the analytic method only seems to be successful.
