The free, bound, and strongly bound lipids of the crushed seeds, pulp, husks, and meal have been characterized. It has been shown that the bound and strongly-bound lipids differ from the free lipids by a higher level of saturated acids. The acid numbers of the bound lipids are 5–6 times higher than those of the free lipids.Institute of the Chemistry of Plant Substances, Uzbek SSR Academy of Sciences, Tashkent. A comparative study has been made of the lipid composition of defective and first-grade cotton seeds after their prolonged storage under industrial conditions. On the basis of the change in the lipids of the seeds subjected to thermal spoilage it is proposed to consider the process of spontaneous heating as a group of enzymatic processes taking place mainly in not fully ripe seeds when they are damaged by pathogenic microflora.  相似文献

The compositions and amounts of polar lipids in cotton seeds and the products of their processing have been investigated. Six glycolipids have been identified, the main ones being monogalactosyldiglyceride (MGDGs), digalactosyldiglycerides (DGDGs), and sterol glycosides. The fatty acid compositions of the neutral lipids and of the phospho- and glycolipids have been determined. In the glycolipids, saturated fatty acids — palmitic and stearic — predominated.Institute of Chemistry of Plant Substances, Uzbekistan Republic Academy of Sciences, Tashkent. The lipid and pigment compositions of crude and refined bleached cottonseed oil have been studied and the influence of the technological treatment on the composition and structure of the components is discussed. It has been found that the color and the difficult refinability of the crude oil are due partially to the presence in it of stable radical dications of gossypol photoinduced in the presence of O2.Institute of the Chemistry of Plant Substances, Academy of Sciences of the Uzbek SSR, Tashkent. A study has been made of the surface lipids and essential oil of the seeds of three species ofFerula: F. lapidosa, F. ceratophylla, andF. tschimganica. It has been shown that the surface lipids are characterized by a high content of saturated hydrocarbons, and a lipid extract of the seeds contained 50% of triacylglycerols.Institute of the Chemistry of Plant Substances, Academy of Sciences of the Uzbek SSR, Tashkent. The lipid composition of the seeds ofSecurinega suffruticosa (Euphorbiaceae) has been studied, and eight classes of lipids have been identified with a predominance of triacylglycerols; the fatty acid compositions and structures of the triacylglycerols have been determined. Among the hydroxy acids of the hydroxyacylglycerols 13 components belonging to saturated, monoenic, and dienic acids of the C17, C18, and C20 series have been identified; 12-hydroxyheptadecanoic and 12-hydroxyeicosanoic acids are new.Institute of the Chemistry of Plant Substances, Academy of Sciences of the Uzbek SSR, Tashkent. The composition of the unsaturated and oxidized fatty acids and steroids of the lipids of the seeds ofPaliurus spina-christi has been determined. Among the unsaturated acids the 20:1 (11) was detected, while the 18:1 and 18:2 acids predominate. The oxidized acids are represented by the sum of the 9,10(12,13)-epoxy-12(9)-18:1, the 9,10-epoxy-18:0, the oxo-18:1, the oxo-18:2, the 12-hydroxy-9-18:1, and the 9-hydroxy-10,11-18:2 acids. The main component of the sterols is -sitosterol. It has been found that the composition of the acylglycerols of the lipids of the seeds ofP. spina-christi gathered in different years is variable.I. The lipid complex of the seeds ofHeracleum lehmannianum B. has been studied. The qualitative and quantitative compositions of the neutral lipids and the phospho- and glycolipids, and the fatty acid compositions of the acyl-containing classes of lipids have been determined. It has been shown that the neutral and the polar lipids differ considerably from one another with respect to the level of certain fatty acids. The position-species compositions of the TAGS and of the main components of the phospholipids have been calculated from the results of lipolytic hydrolysis.Institute of the Chemistry of Plant Substances, Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Tashkent, fax (3712) 89 14 75. Lipid components of the seeds ofViburnum opulus (Caprifoliaceae family) were investigated. The neutral lipids consist of eight classes, the glycolipids consist of three classes, and the phospholipids contain seven classes. The fatty-acid contents of all of the acyl-containing lipids were determined. The 18∶2 fatty acid is the main component of all the lipid fractions. The content of saturated acids is greater in the glycolipids and phospholipids. The lipophilic components, higher fatty alcohols and sterols, were identified.  相似文献

Significant quantities of eicosatrienoic acid and neutral lipids are found. The polar lipids are biologically active.Deceased.I. G. The neutral and polar lipids of kenaf seeds of the variety Uzbetskii-1574 from the 1983 crop have been studied. The fatty acid compositions of six acyl-containing classes of neutral lipids have been established for the first time. The acids in the sn-2 positions of the triacylglycerols and of the main classes of phospholipids have been determined. The main triacylglycerol species are those in which the sn-2 position is esterified by linoleic acid.  相似文献

The compositions of the lipids and fatty acids of the seeds ofCynoglossum officinale, familyBoraginaceae have been established. The bulk of the lipids consisted of netural compounds (95.2%), while the amounts of glycolipids and phospholipids were 3.1 and 1.7%, respectively. Among the fatty acids, in addition to the usual components, acids characteristic for theBoraginaceae family have been found: 18:3 (6, 9, 12), 18:3 (9, 12, 15), 18:4 (6, 9, 12, 15), 20:1 (11), 22:1 (13), and 24:1 (15).Institute of the Chemistry of Plant Substances, Uzbek Academy of Sciences, Tashkent. A possible mechanism of the contamination of cotton seeds and the products of their processing with aflatoxins has been studied. It has been found that the contamination of cotton seeds with aflatoxin takes place mainly on storage in the cotton ginning factory and the oils and fats combine. In the processing of the cotton seeds, part of the aflatoxins passes into the final products and part decomposes. Meal stored in the oil and fats combine undergo secondary contamination with aflatoxins.Institute of the Chemistry of Plant Substances, Academy of Sciences of the Uzbek SSR, Tashkent.
