一个标量泛函的研究及其在集值优化问题中的应用

本文在K条件下,研究了所给标量泛函的连续性和拟凸性,并利用该标量泛函,将集值优化问题转化为均衡问题,进而研究了含约束的集值优化问题弱充分解的存在性和拟集值优化问题强逼近解映射的上半连续性与下半连续性.与最近的文献相比,我们的方法是新的,条件和结论也更具一般性.     

Convexity of Nonlinear Image of a Small Ball with Applications to Optimization

Let f: XY be a nonlinear differentiable map, X,Y are Hilbert spaces, B(a,r) is a ball in X with a center a and radius r. Suppose f (x) is Lipschitz in B(a,r) with Lipschitz constant L and f (a) is a surjection: f (a)X=Y; this implies the existence of >0 such that f (a)^* yy, yY. Then, if r,/(2L), the image F=f(B(a,)) of the ball B(a,) is convex. This result has numerous applications in optimization and control. First, duality theory holds for nonconvex mathematical programming problems with extra constraint x–a. Special effective algorithms for such optimization problems can be constructed as well. Second, the reachability set for small power control is convex. This leads to various results in optimal control.

单调集函数的连续性与可测函数序列的收敛

引了单调集函数的几种连续性并且讨论了它们与可测函数依测度收敛之间的关系,给出可加测度论中的Lesbegue定理在单调测度空间上的4种推广形式。讨论单调集函数的连续性和模糊积分与Choquet积分的单调收敛定理之间的等价性。证明Choquet积分的控制收敛定理。     

Generalized Convexity and Nonsmooth Problems of Vector Optimization

In this paper it is shown that every generalized Kuhn-Tucker point of a vector optimization problem involving locally Lipschitz functions is a weakly efficient point if and only if this problem is KT- pseudoinvex in a suitable sense. Under a closedness assumption (in particular, under a regularity condition of the constraint functions) it is pointed out that in this result the notion of generalized Kuhn–Tucker point can be replaced by the usual notion of Kuhn–Tucker point. 集优化问题的近似Benson真有效解及非线性刻画

利用集合的Minkowski差,引进集优化问题的Benson真有效解和近似Benson真有效解的概念,讨论了它们之间的关系.在某种假设下证明了近似Benson真有效解集是闭的.利用非线性泛函分别建立了无约束和带约束集优化问题取得近似Benson真有效解的必要条件.     

Special Pair of Dual Parametric Nonlinear Optimization Problems with Common Set of Optimal Points

On the base of a given strictly convex function defined on the Euclidean space E n ( n S 2) we can-without the assumption that it is differentiable - introduce some manifolds in topologic sense. Such manifolds are sets of all optimal points of a certain parametric non-linear optimization problem. This paper presents above all certain generalization of some results of [F. No ? i ) ka and L. Grygarová (1991). Some topological questions connected with strictly convex functions. Optimization , 22 , 177-191. Akademie Verlag, Berlin] and [L. Grygarová (1988). Über Lösungsmengen spezieller konvexer parametrischer Optimierungsaufgaben . Optimization 19 , 215-228. Akademie Verlag Berlin], under less strict assumptions. The main results are presented in Sections 3 and 4, in Section 3 the geometrical characterization of the set of optimal points of a certain parametric minimization problem is presented; in Section 4 we study a maximization non-linear parametric problem assigned to it. It seems that it is a certain pair of parametric optimization problems with the same set of their optimal points, so that this pair of problems can be denoted as a pair of dual parametric non-linear optimization problems. This paper presents, most of all in Section 2, a number of interesting geometric facts about strictly convex functions. From the point of view of non-smooth analysis the present article is a certain complement to Chapter 4.3 of the book [B. Bank, J. Guddat, D. Klatte, B. Kummer and K. Tammer (1982). Akademie Verlag, Berlin] where a convex parametric minimization problem is considered under more general and stronger conditions (but without any assumptions concerning strict convexity and without geometrical aspects).     

Vector Equilibrium Problems. Existence Theorems and Convexity of Solution Set

The natural quasi-concavity of set-valued mappings in an ordered vector space is introduced. Existence theorems for vector equilibrium problems involving set-valued monotone mappings are obtained and the convexity of the solution set is shown.     

凸性与度量投影的连续性

本文研究近强凸、近非常凸Banach空间中度量投影的连续性。获得如下结果：若A是近强凸（近非常凸）空间中的逼近凸集,则度量投影PA是范-范上半连续的（范-弱上半连续的）。此外,我们还利用度量投影的连续性给出Banach空间为近强凸、近非常凸的一些充分必要条件。     

Nonlinear Level Set Learning for Function Approximation on Sparse Data with Applications to Parametric Differential Equations

A dimension reduction method based on the “Nonlinear Level set Learning” (NLL) approach is presented for the pointwise prediction of functions which have been sparsely sampled. Leveraging geometric information provided by the Implicit Function Theorem, the proposed algorithm effectively reduces the input dimension to the theoretical lower bound with minor accuracy loss, providing a one-dimensional representation of the function which can be used for regression and sensitivity analysis. Experiments and applications are presented which compare this modified NLL with the original NLL and the Active Subspaces (AS) method. While accommodating sparse input data, the proposed algorithm is shown to train quickly and provide a much more accurate and informative reduction than either AS or the original NLL on two example functions with high-dimensional domains, as well as two state-dependent quantities depending on the solutions to parametric differential equations.     

Continuity Results for a Class of Variational Inequalities with Applications to Time-Dependent Network Problems

We consider a class of monotone variational inequalities in which both the operator and the convex set are parametrized by continuous functions. Under suitable assumptions, we prove the continuity of the solution with respect to the parameter. As an important application, we consider the case of finite dimensional variational inequalities on suitable polyhedra. We demonstrate the applicability of our results to time dependent traffic equilibrium problem.     

Optimality Conditions for Vector Optimization Problems with Generalized Convexity in Real Linear Spaces

In this paper we consider mainly vector optimization problems under generalized cone-convexlikeness and generalized cone-subconvexlikeness in real linear spaces having or not topology. We establish the adapted definitions to wide frame of real linear spaces, and we show the characterizations for several concepts of generalized convexity and the relationships among them. From separation theorems, some characterizations of efficiency and weak efficiency are given in terms of scalarization. A new extension of Gordan-form alternative theorem is given here, and derived from it, we obtain optimality conditions by means of linear operators rules and saddle point criterions.

在具有可变序结构的一般拓扑向量空间中定义了一个新的非线性标量化函数,讨论了该函数的主要性质.同时作为应用,通过该函数构造出了一族半范数和一类赋范线性空间,并在最后建立了该非线性标量化函数和半范数的上、下半连续性结论.     

由广义半模F积分定义的集函数的连续性

为使F积分得到进一步拓广,我们引入了广义半模F积分[1].本文则讨论由广义半模F积分定义的集函数,指出该集函数对F测度的上、下半连续具有遗传性.     

Continuity of the Solution Set to Parametric Weak Vector Equilibrium Problems

In this paper, we obtain some stability results for parametric weak vector equilibrium problems in topological vector spaces. We provide sufficient conditions for the continuity of the solution set mapping in parametric weak monotone vector equilibrium problems. 对x=(x_1,…,x_n)∈[0,1)~n∪(1,+∞o)~n,定义对称函数■其中r∈N,i_1,i_2,…,i_n为非负整数.研究了F_n(x,r)的Schur凸性、Schur乘性凸性和Schur调和凸性.作为应用,用控制理论建立了一些不等式,特别地,给出了高维空间的一些新的几何不等式.     

General System of A-Monotone Nonlinear Variational Inclusion Problems with Applications

Based on the notion of A–monotonicity, the solvability of a system of nonlinear variational inclusions using the resolvent operator technique is presented. The results obtained are new and general in nature.
