15N NMR data of a series of 3‐alkyl[aryl] substituted 5‐trichloromethyl‐1,2‐dimethyl‐1H‐pyrazolium chlorides (where the 3‐substituents are H, Me, Et, n‐Pr, n‐Bu, n‐Pe, n‐Hex, (CH2)5CO2Et, CH2Br, Ph and 4‐Br‐C6H4), are reported. The 15N substituent chemical shifts (SCS) parameters are determined and these data are compared with the 13C SCS values and data obtained by MO calculations. Density functional theory (DFT)/Becke–Lee–Yang–Parr (B3LYP) and gauge‐including atomic orbital (GIAO) calculations were performed on a number of 1,2,4‐triazole derivatives, and the optimized structural parameters were employed to ascertain the nature of their predominant tautomers. 13C and 15N NMR chemical shifts of 3‐substituted 1,2,4‐triazole‐5‐thiones and their propargylated derivatives were calculated via GIAO/DFT approach at the B3LYP level of theory with geometry optimization using a 6‐311++G** basis set. A good agreement between theoretical and experimental 13C and 15N NMR chemical shifts could be found for the systems investigated. The data generated were useful in predicting 15N chemical shifts of all the nitrogen atoms of the triazole ring, some of which could not be obtained in solution state 15N HMBC/HSQC NMR measurements. The energy profile computed for the dipropargylated derivatives was found to follow the product distribution profile of regioisomers formed during propargylation of 1,2,4‐triazole thiones. A structural and conformational analysis of 1‐oxaspiro[2.5]octane and 1‐oxa‐2‐azaspiro[2.5]octane derivatives was performed using 1H, 13 C, and 15 N NMR spectroscopy. The relative configuration and preferred conformations were determined by analyzing the homonuclear coupling constants and chemical shifts of the protons and carbon atoms in the aliphatic rings. These parameters directly reflected the steric and electronic effects of the substituent bonded to the aliphatic six‐membered ring or to C3 or N2. The parameters also were sensitive to the anisotropic positions of these atoms in the three‐atom ring. The preferred orientation of the exocyclic substituents directed the oxidative attack. 1H, 13C and two‐dimensional NMR analyses were applied to determine the NMR parameters of 6‐(2′,3′‐dihydro‐1′H‐inden‐1′‐yl)‐1H‐indene. The measurements were accomplished with 0.5 mg of the substance, this quantity being sufficient to determine the chemical shifts of all the H and C atoms, and also the appropriate coupling constants and to give the complete NMR resonance assignments of the molecule. The predicted patterns of the four different H atoms of the methylene groups of the indane structural element coincided completely with the complex patterns in the NMR spectra. Pseudo‐ephedrine derived 2‐imino‐1,3‐thiazolidine 1 reacts with tris(diethylamino)phosphane by stepwise replacement of the diethylamino group to give the mono‐, bis‐ and tris(imino)phosphanes 2 , 3 and 4 , respectively, of which 4 could be isolated in pure state. The analogous reaction with diethylamino‐diphenylphosphane affords the imino‐diphenylphosphane 5 . The iminophosphanes react with sulfur or selenium to give the corresponding phosphorus(V) compounds. In contrast, the reaction of the iminophosphanes with oxygen is very slow; anhydrous trimethylamine N‐oxide reacts in the melt with the phosphanes to give the oxides 4(O) and 5(O) . The molecular structures of 4(O) (in mixture with 4 ), 4(Se) , 5(S) and 5(Se) were determined by X‐ray analysis. In all cases the ring‐sulfur and the phosphorus atoms are in cis‐positions at the C=N bonds. The analogous solution structures were determined by 1H, 13C, 15N, 31P and 77Se NMR spectroscopy. In the case of the compounds 5 , 5(O) , 5(S) and 5(Se) the isotope‐induced chemical shifts 1δ14/15N(31P) were determined, using INEPT‐HEED experiments.  相似文献

The 1H{15N} NMR spectrum of 5,7‐diphenyl‐1,2,4‐triazolo[1,5‐a]‐pyrimidine ( 3 ) was measured by GHMQC, unambiguously assigned and compared with the spectra of 1,2,4‐triazolo[1,5‐a]pyrimidine ( 1 ) and 5,7‐dimethyl‐1,2,4‐triazolo[1,5‐a]pyrimidine ( 2 ). A series of Au(III) chloride complexes of general formula AuLCl3, where L = 1 , 2 , 3 , was synthesized and studied by 1HH{15N} GHMQC and 1H{13C} GHMBC. Low‐frequency shifts of 72–74 ppm (15N) and 5–6 ppm (13C) were observed upon complexation by Au(III) ions for the coordination site N‐3 and adjacent C‐2, C‐3a atoms, respectively. The 13C signals of C‐5, C‐6, C‐7 and the 1H resonances of H‐2, H‐6 were shifted to higher frequency. Comparison with analogous Pd(II), Pt(II) and Pt(IV) complexes revealed that in the case of Au(III) coordination the 15N shifts were relatively smaller, whereas those for 13C and 1H were larger. A series of 2‐aryl‐2‐hydroxy‐1,1,3,3‐tetramethyl‐5,8‐dioxaspiro[3.4]octanes ( 1 ), 3‐aryl‐3‐hydyoxyl‐2,2,4,4‐tetyramethylcyclobutanones ( 2 ), and l‐aryl‐2,2,4‐trimethyl‐1,3‐pentadiones ( 3 ) were studied using 13C NMR analyses. The chemical shifts of C‐c are dependent on the substituent groups on the phenyl ring for compounds 1 (ρ =‐0.966, R2 = 0.987) and 2 (ρ = ?1.378, R2 = 0.998). The chemical shifts of C‐a follow a similar trend (ρ =?0.926, R2 = 0.989). In the case of compounds 3 , C‐c yielded the opposite trend with very poor correlation coefficiency (ρ = 1.22, R2 = 0.179). This result reveals the field effect of a polar bond and resonance‐induced changes in pi electron‐density at C‐1 on the cyclobutanering series.  相似文献

15N NMR data for a series of 12 para‐substituted benzamidoximes and benzamidinium salts were determined in dimethyl sulfoxide. For the amino group of benzamidoximes 1J(N,H) coupling constants were determined using polarization transfer techniques; the other 15N atoms were not detectable owing to fast exchange processes and, thus, standard proton noise decoupled spectra had to be measured. The 15N NMR chemical shifts of the oxime‐type nitrogen atom and the benzamidinium amino group (with two exceptions) correlate with Hammett σ° values (r2>0.95). 15N NMR shift data are a suitable and sensitive means for characterizing far‐ranging electronic substituent effects in these functional groups. Additionally, 13C NMR data in dimethyl sulfoxide solution are given. All spectroscopic data will be used for investigations into the mechanisms of the enzymes involved in the metabolic cycle of oxidation and reduction of benzamidines and benzamidoximes. Structures of selected 3,6‐dihalogeno‐N‐alkyl carbazole derivatives were calculated at the B3LYP/6‐311++G(3df,2pd) level of theory, and their 13C nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) isotropic shieldings were predicted using density functional theory (DFT). The model compounds contained 9H, N‐methyl and N‐ethyl derivatives. The relativistic effect of Br and I atoms on nuclear shieldings was modeled using the spin–orbit zeroth‐order regular approximation (ZORA) method. Significant heavy atom shielding effects for the carbon atom directly bonded with Br and I were observed (~?10 and ~?30 ppm while the other carbon shifts were practically unaffected). The decreasing electronegativity of the halogen substituent (F, Cl, Br, and I) was reflected in both nonrelativistic and relativistic NMR results as decreased values of chemical shifts of carbon atoms attached to halogen (C3 and C6) leading to a strong sensitivity to halogen atom type at 3 and 6 positions of the carbazole ring. The predicted NMR data correctly reproduce the available experimental data for unsubstituted N‐alkylcarbazoles. Copyright © 2013 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

The 15N NMR chemical shifts of N7‐ and N9‐substituted purine derivatives were investigated systematically at the natural abundance level of the 15N isotope. The NMR chemical shifts were determined and assigned using GSQMBC, GHMBC, GHMQC and GHSQC experiments in solution. 15N cross‐polarization magic angle spinning data were recorded for selected compounds in order to study the principal values of the 15N chemical shifts. Geometric parameters obtained by using RHF/6–31G** and single‐crystal x‐ray structural analysis were used to calculate the chemical‐shielding constants (GIAO and IGLO) which were then used to assign the nitrogen resonances observed in the solid‐state NMR spectra and to determine the orientation of the principal components of the shift tensors. The NMR spectroscopic data of a series of thirty‐four 3‐acylpyrido[1,2‐a]pyrimidinium salts are analyzed, which were prepared as either perchlorates or chlorides. Methyl group substituted 3‐aroyltetrahydropyrido[1,2‐a]pyrimidines with the methyl substituent in positions 6, 8 and 9 as well as both in positions 6 and 8 were investigated bearing various aroyl substituents. Unequivocal assignment of all resonances was achieved via two‐dimensional 1H,1H‐COSY measurements, 1H,13C and 1H,15N HSQC as well as HMBC experiments, and important diagnostic CH and NH couplings in the heteroaromatic ring system are evaluated. The influence of the methyl substituents was analyzed on the proton, carbon and nitrogen shifts. A significant effect of the counter ion on some chemical shifts of the nuclei under discussion of the pyridopyrimidines is found, allowing the indirect detection of the anion, which is confirmed by direct measurement of the 35Cl nucleus of the perchlorates. Some azido‐ and iminophosphorane derivatives of 3,6‐dichloro‐ and 3,4,5,6‐tetrachloropyridazine were synthesized and studied by means of NMR measurements. Based on multinuclear data (chemical shifts, coupling constants) for compounds containing the azide group, no potentially possible tetrazole–azide equilibrium can be observed, even under acidic conditions. An unusual substitution of a chlorine atom (in position 4) of tetrachloropyridazine in the reaction with hydrazine was demonstrated by NMR measurements of two newly synthesized compounds containing azido‐ and iminophosphorane groups. Using multinuclear magnetic resonance data, the sites of ethylation and protonation of azido‐ and iminophosphorane derivatives of chloropyridazines were established. In the case of the tetrazolopyridazines, ethylation occurs at the N1′ and N2′ atoms, whereas for monocyclic compounds it takes place at the N1 and/or N2 atoms of the pyridazine ring. Preferred sites of protonation are the N1′ atom of the tetrazole ring and the N1 atom of the pyridazine ring. Moreover, the structures of potassium salts of 6‐(3‐cyano‐1‐triazeno)tetrazolo[1,5‐b] pyridazine and its amido derivative were established using NMR data, especially 15N NMR chemical shifts. Herein, we describe the synthesis and complete assignment of the 1H and 13C NMR chemical shifts of a series of antimicrobial 4‐arylamino‐3‐nitrocoumarin derivatives based on a combination of 1H and 13C NMR, 1H‐1H‐COSY, NOESY, HSQC and HMBC experiments. Conformational effects upon the chemical shifts of the coumarin moiety arising from the anisotropy of the aryl side group are briefly discussed. This study provides the first complete and fully assigned NMR data for this important group of antimicrobial compounds and bridges the gap existing in the literature with regard to NMR structural data for 4‐arylamino‐3‐nitrocoumarins. The 2‐(benzo[d]thiazole‐2′‐yl)‐N‐alkylanilines have previously revealed the presence of a strong intramolecular hydrogen bond. This in turn gives rise to a more complicated multiplet for the protons attached to the carbon adjacent to the amino group. This intramolecular hydrogen bond was investigated by a deuterium exchange experiment using heteronuclear NMR spectroscopy (1H, 13C, 15 N and 2H). We observed changes in the multiplet structure and chemical shifts providing further evidence that the deuterium replaces the hydrogen in the intramolecular hydrogen bond. A time course study of the D2O exchange confirmed the presence of a strong hydrogen bond. The comparison of the structures obtained by X‐ray crystallography showed a very small difference in planarity between the two‐substituted and four‐substituted amino compounds. In both the cases, the phenyl ring is not absolutely coplanar with the thiazole unit. The existence of this intramolecular hydrogen bond in 2‐(benzo[d]thiazole‐2′‐yl)‐N‐alkylanilines was further confirmed by single crystal X‐ray crystallography. Herein, a coumaraz‐2‐on‐4‐ylidene ( 1 ) as a new example of an ambiphilic N‐heterocyclic carbene, having electronic properties that can be fine‐tuned, is reported. The N‐carbamic and aryl groups on the carbene carbon center provide exceptionally high electrophilicity and nucleophilicity simultaneously to the carbene center, as evidenced by the 77Se NMR chemical shifts of their selenoketone derivatives and the CO stretching strengths of their rhodium carbonyl complexes. Since the precursors of 1 could be synthesized from various functionalized Schiff bases in a practical and scalable manner, the electronic properties of 1 can be fine‐tuned in a quantitative and predictable way by using the Hammett σ constant of the functional groups on aryl ring. The facile electronic tuning capability of 1 may be applicable to eliciting novel properties in main‐group and transition‐metal chemistry.  相似文献

In this article, we describe the characteristic 15N and 1HN NMR chemical shifts and 1J(15N–1H) coupling constants of various symmetrically and unsymmetrically substituted 1,4‐dihydropyridine derivatives. The NMR chemical shifts and coupling constants are discussed in terms of their relationship to structural features such as character and position of the substituent in heterocycle, N‐alkyl substitution, nitrogen lone pair delocalization within the conjugated system, and steric effects. The complete 1H NMR chemical shift assignments of 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8‐octahydroacridine ( 1 ), 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8‐octahydro‐9‐(3‐pyridyl)acridine ( 2 ), 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8‐octahydro‐9‐(4‐pyridyl)acridine ( 3 ) and the corresponding N(10)‐oxides 1a , 2a and 3a , respectively, were achieved on the basis of 400 MHz 1H NMR spectra and proton–proton decoupling, HMQC and NOEDIFF experiments. The spectral data for the above compounds provided the first experimental evidence of the difference in the anisotropy effect of the two non‐symmetrical moieties of the pyridine nucleus, and allowed us to ascertain that the shielding effect of the moiety defined by the C(2′)—N—C(6′) atoms is weaker than that of the C(3′)—C(4′)—C(5′) moiety. The 13C NMR spectra of 1 – 3 and 1a – 3a and the effect of N(10)‐oxidation on the 13C NMR chemical shifts are also discussed. The N‐oxidation of 2 and 3 with m‐chloroperbenzoic acid occurred regiospecifically, affording the N(10)‐oxides 2a and 3a free of N(1′)‐oxide isomers. A series of N‐arylhexahydropyrimidines la‐1 were synthesized by condensation of N‐aryl‐N'‐alkyl‐ (or aryl)‐1,3‐propanediamines 2a‐h with aldehydes. Reactions with formaldehyde proceeded in hydroalcoholic solution, while condensation with aromatic aldehydes required in general the use of activated molecular sieves. 1H NMR spectra of compounds la‐1 were analyzed and the results correlated with their conforma‐tional features. Derivatives devoid of a 2‐substituent la‐g show fast ring reversal and N‐inversion. The presence of a 2‐aryl group shifts the ring reversal equilibrium towards conformations where the 2‐aryl substituent is equatorial. Differential assignment of axial and equatorial hydrogens in these compounds was made on the basis of coupling constants and chemical shift values. In compound 1k spectral data suggest the axial orientation of the N‐methyl group. Such findings were confirmed in the corresponding NOESY spectrum.  相似文献

1H, 13C, 15N and 195Pt NMR studies of gold(III) and platinum(II) chloride organometallics with N(1),C(2′)‐chelated, deprotonated 2‐phenylpyridine (2ppy*) of the formulae [Au(2ppy*)Cl2], trans(N,N)‐[Pt(2ppy*)(2ppy)Cl] and trans(S,N)‐[Pt(2ppy*)(DMSO‐d6)Cl] (formed in situ upon dissolving [Pt(2ppy*)(µ‐Cl)]2 in DMSO‐d6) were performed. All signals were unambiguously assigned by HMBC/HSQC methods and the respective 1H, 13C and 15N coordination shifts (i.e. differences between chemical shifts of the same atom in the complex and ligand molecules: Δ1Hcoord = δ1Hcomplex ? δ1Hligand, Δ13Ccoord = δ13Ccomplex ? δ13Cligand, Δ15Ncoord = δ15Ncomplex ? δ15Nligand), as well as 195Pt chemical shifts and 1H‐195Pt coupling constants discussed in relation to the known molecular structures. Characteristic deshielding of nitrogen‐adjacent H(6) protons and metallated C(2′) atoms as well as significant shielding of coordinated N(1) nitrogens is discussed in respect to a large set of literature NMR data available for related cyclometallated compounds.
