We consider the prediction of future research collaborations as a link prediction problem applied on a scientific knowledge graph. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first work on the prediction of future research collaborations that combines structural and textual information of a scientific knowledge graph through a purposeful integration of graph algorithms and natural language processing techniques. Our work: (i) investigates whether the integration of unstructured textual data into a single knowledge graph affects the performance of a link prediction model, (ii) studies the effect of previously proposed graph kernels based approaches on the performance of an ML model, as far as the link prediction problem is concerned, and (iii) proposes a three-phase pipeline that enables the exploitation of structural and textual information, as well as of pre-trained word embeddings. We benchmark the proposed approach against classical link prediction algorithms using accuracy, recall, and precision as our performance metrics. Finally, we empirically test our approach through various feature combinations with respect to the link prediction problem. Our experimentations with the new COVID-19 Open Research Dataset demonstrate a significant improvement of the abovementioned performance metrics in the prediction of future research collaborations. 相似文献

A phenomenological approach nto investigate the effect of interfacial layers on the absorption of metaldielectric composite at elevated temperatures is put forward by making use of a model in which weakly nonlinear spherical metallic particles with linear concentric shells are randomly embedded in a linear host.Corresponding formulae in terms of the interfacial factor are derived in detail by incorporating Taylor expansion and Drude model.We take Ag/MgF2 composite as numerical calculation.It is concluded that such absorption is dependent not only on the temperature,but also on the properties of interfacial layers.Many other interesting phenomena are shown. 相似文献

The depression of the analytical signal of calcium by phosphate ion when using turbulent (H2/02 and H2/A/entrained air) and laminar (C2/H2/air) flames in flame spectro-ietry is studied. Measurements of flame emission of calcium as a function of calcium to phosphate and pyrophosphate molar ratios for various flame heights in both turbulent and laminar flames are made. The phosphate interference when using turbulent flames is shown to be a result of a slow vaporization of the calcium phosphate particles. The phosphate interference when using laminar flames with chamber type aspirators is only important at high calcium and phosphate concentrations. The cause of the interference is probably a result of either slow vaporization of the calcium phosphate particles or a slow rate of change of the orthophosphate to pyrophosphate during the decomposition step. 相似文献

A speical dielectric barrier discharge(DBD)device consisting of two water electrodes has been designed.The temporal behaviuour of the micro-discharge(filament)in the DBD in air at atmospheric pressure is measured by using an optical method.The nonsymmetrical characterstic of the filament has been discovered for the first time. We propose an equation regarding the discharge moment by considering the memory effect of the accumulated charge and the influence of the fluctuation.The results deduced from the equation give a good explanation of the experimental phenomenon,which show that the decay time constant of the accumulated charges is much larger than 100us.The relative intensity of fluctuation amplitude is in the range 2-4% under the present experimental conditions. 相似文献

We investigate the martensitic transition of melt-spun Ni-Mn-Ga ribbons ,during which an abrupt release of internal stress occurs.The release results in the appearance of two peaks on the curve of field-induced strains versus temperature.During and after the transformation,a large lag of field-induced strains was observed.indicating a competition between the stress energy and Zeemann energy.The lag leads to an unusual relation of the strains to the inducing field. 相似文献

the exchange and correlation effects, the local field correction
due to Sarkar et al. (S) is applied. The present investigation

Phenomena of electron, neutron, atomic and molecular diffraction have been studied in many experiments, and these experiments are explained by many theoretical works. We study neutron single-slit diffraction with a quantum mechanical approach. It is found that the obvious diffraction patterns can be obtained when the single- slit width a is in the range of 3λ - 60λ. We also lind a new quantum effect of the thickness of single-slit which can make a large impact on the diffraction pattern. The new quantum effect predicted in our work can be tested by the neutron single-slit diffraction experiment. 相似文献

Asymmetric nuclear matter is investigated by the Dirac Brueckner Hartree-Fock (DBHF) approach with a new decomposition of the Dirac structure of nucleon self-energy from the G matrix.It is found that the isospin dependence of the scalar and vector potentials is relatively weak,although boty potentials for neutron (proton) become deep (shallow) in the neutron-rich nuclear matter.The results in asymmetric nuclear matter are rather different from those obtained by a simple method,where the nucleon self-energy is deduced from the single-particle energy.The nuclear binding energy as a function of the asymmetry parameter fulfils the empirical parabolic law up to very extreme isospin asymmetric nuclear matter in the DBHF approach.The behaviour of the density depandence of the asymmetry energy is different from that obtained by non-relativistic approaches,although both give similar asymmetry energy at the nuclear saturation density. 相似文献

The dynamic behaviour for nanoscale electrostatic actuators is studied. A two parameter mass-spring model is shown to exhibit a bifurcation from the case excluding an equilibrium point to the case including two equilibrium points as the geometrical dimensions of the device are altered. Stability analysis shows that one is a stable Hopf bifurcation point and the other is an unstable saddle point. In addition, we plot the diagram phases, which have periodic orbits around the Hopf point and a homoclinic orbit passing though the unstable saddle point. 相似文献

Much experimental evidence of superluminal phenomena has been available by electromagnetic wave propagation experiments, with the results showing that the phase time describes the barrier traversal time. Based on the extrapolated phase time approach and numerical methods, we show that, in contrast to the ordinary Bessel waves of real argument, the group velocities of modified Bessel waves are superluminal. We obtain the following results. The group velocities increase with the increase of propagation distance, which is similar to the evanescent plane- wave cases. For large wave numbers, the group velocities fall off as the wave numbers increase, which is similar to the evanescent plane-wave cases. For small wave numbers, the group velocities increase with the increase of wave numbers, this is different from the evanescent plane-wave cases. 相似文献

An impulsive control scheme of Liu's system is presented in this paper. Some less conservative conditions with impulses at fixed times are provided, which can guarantee the global asymptotical stability and global exponential stability for the impulsive control of Liu's systems.
