A dual-wavelength continuous-wave (CW) diode-pumped Nd:YVO4 laser that generates simultaneous laser action at the wavelengths 914 and 1342 nm is demonstrated. A total dual-wavelength output power of 1.79 W was achieved at the incident pump power of 18.2 W. Furthermore, intracavity sum-frequency mixing at 914 and 1342 nm was then realized in a LBO crystal to reach the yellow-green range. We obtained a total CW output power of 212 mW at 544 nm.  相似文献

We report a continuous-wave (CW) yellow laser emission by sum-frequency mixing in two Nd:LuVO4 and Nd:YLF crystals. Using type-I critical phase-matching (CPM) LBO crystal, a yellow laser at 590 nm is obtained by 1066 and 1321 nm intracavity sum-frequency mixing. The maximum laser output power of 223 mW is obtained when an incident pump laser of 18.2 W is used. At the output power level of 223 mW, the output stability is better than 4.5%.  相似文献

We report a red laser at 672 nm generation by intracavity frequency doubling of a continuous wave (CW) laser operation of a 1343 nm Nd:LuVO4 laser under in-band diode pumping at 888 nm. An GdCa4O(BO3)3 (GdCOB) crystal, cut for critical type I phase matching at room temperature is used for second harmonic generation of the laser. At an incident pump power of 17.8 W, as high as 1.73 W of CW output power at 672 nm is achieved. The optical-to-optical conversion efficiency is up to 9.7%, and the fluctuation of the red output power was better than 3.3% in the given 30 min.  相似文献

We report on the efficient continuous-wave (CW) dual-wavelength operation of a Nd:LuVO4 laser at 916 and 1343 nm. An output power of 2.15 W for the dual-wavelength was achieved at the incident pump power of 18.2 W. Intracavity sum-frequency mixing at 916 and 1343 nm was then realized in a LBO crystal to reach the yellow-green range. A maximum output power of 523 mW in the yellow-green spectral range at 545 nm has been achieved. The yellow-green output stability is better than 3.5%. The yellow-green beam quality M 2 value are about 1.31 and 1.18 in both horizontal and vertical dimensions, respectively.  相似文献

Efficient and compact green-yellow laser output at 545 nm is generated by intracavity frequency doubling of a continuous-wave (CW) diode-pumped Nd:LuVO4 laser at 1089 nm under the condition of suppressing the higher gain transition near 1066 nm. With 18.7 W of diode pump power and the frequency-doubling crystal KTiOPO4(KTP), as high as 2.3 W of CW output power at 545 nm is achieved, corresponding to an optical-to-optical conversion efficiency of 12.3%; the output power stability over 4 h is better than 5.4%.  相似文献

We present for the first time a dual-wavelength laser operation at 1064 and 914 nm in two NdYVO4 crystals. A 879 nm laser diode is used to pump the first Nd:YVO4 crystal emitting at 914 nm, and the second Nd:YVO4 laser emitting at 1064 nm intracavity pumped at 914 nm. A total output power of 4.28 W at the two fundamental wavelengths was achieved at the absorbed pump power of 13.8 W. The M2 values for 914 and 1064 nm lights at the maximum output power were found to be around 1.3 and 1.1, respectively.  相似文献

We demonstrate a continuous-wave(CW) dual-wavelength Nd:YVO4laser working at 1064 and 1066 nm simultaneously. The method of Nd:YVO4crystal angle tuning is used to balance the ratio of the stimulated emission cross sections of the two wavelengths, leading to the realization of a simultaneous dual-wavelength operation from only one laser. The experimental results show that at a 2.85 W pump power, the maximum output powers at wavelengths of 1064 and 1066 nm are 0.55 and 0.54 W, respectively. The linear resonate cavity is as short as 10 mm, which gives the laser the advantages of a miniature configuration and low threshold. Such a dual-wavelength laser can be very attractive for the development of compact THz sources based on difference frequency generation.  相似文献

The pumping sources of Ho,Tm:GdVO4 laser are two fiber-coupled laser diodes with fiber core diameter of 0.4 mm, both of them can supply 42 W power laser operating near 802 nm. For input pump power of 64.7 W at 802.5 nm, the output power of 22.7 W in CW operation, optical-to-optical conversion efficiency of 35.1% at 2.05 μm has been attained. The M 2 factor was found to be 2.0 under an output power of 16.5 W.  相似文献

A diode-end-pumped continuous-wave (CW) simultaneous dual-wavelength laser operation at 1062 and 1331 nm in a single Nd:GGG was demonstrated. A total output power of 1.08 W at the two fundamental wavelengths was achieved at the incident pump power of 18.2 W.
