The structure and harmonic vibrational frequencies of several weakly bound complexes formed by HF are reported. Theab initio MP2 approach is used with large basis sets for the optimisation of geometries and the determination of harmonic frequencies. COHF and OCHF are examined; both are found to be minima, with the latter being the dominant structure. The linear OCOHF andT shaped OCOFH are studied, but only the linear structure is a minimum. N2OHF has two minima on the surface corresponding to bent NNOHF and linear ONNHF structures.  相似文献

Crystal structure determination and semiempirical AM1 and PM3 calculations were performed on flutamide {2-methyl-N[4 nitro-3-(trifluoromethyl) phenyl] propamide}, a powerful nonsteroidal androgen antagonist. The molecule is almost planar apart from CF3, NO2, and CH3 groups. The NO2 plane makes an angle of 36.3(4) with the least-square plane of the phenyl ring. The molecules are intermolecularly linked by one N-H O and one C-H O hydrogen bonds. A bifurcated helicoidal hydrogen bond network is formed by the intermolecular C-H O hydrogen bond together with another intramolecular C-H O hydrogen bond. The calculated structures are in good agreement with the crystallographic conformations. AM1 is more accurate for predicting the intramolecular C-H O hydrogen bond while PM3 gives a better geometry for the crowded nitro group. AM1 and PM3 charges of benzenic hydrogens are used to predict the propensity of these atoms to form hydrogen bonds. The noncentrosymmetric space group of the crystal (Pna21), the calculated dipole moment (8.88 D), and the calculated angle between molecular dipoles and the twofold axis (–49) close to the optimal value (54.7) indicate that flutamide might be a possible candidate for nonlinear optical material.  相似文献

Summary Quantum chemical ab initio calculations have been performed for the complex CO2HF and N2OHF. The interaction energies were computed through fourth order MBPT and were corrected for basis set superposition errors. Extended polarized basis sets were used which are constructed to give accurate values for electric moments and polarizabilities. The complex NNOHF was found to be bent, while OCOHF is linear, in agreement with experiment. The MBPT calculations give evidence for a second linear isomeric structure FHNNO, a possibility which has also been suggested by recent experimental data. The computed binding energies are: 2.5 kcal/mol for OCOHF, 2.4 kcal/mol for NNOHF, and 3.0 kcal/mol for FHNNO. At the SCF level, the FHNNO complex is less stable than NNOHF, but correlation has a large effect on the geometry and energetics of the latter complex. The NNOHF complex seems to be a system where the positive intramolecular correlation correction prevails over the negative intermolecular component.  相似文献

It is possible to treat bond distances of covalent C-H bonds and CH hydrogen bonds simultaneously assuming a logarithmic relationship with the electron density at the bond critical point. Similar relationships have been found for other X-H/XH bonds. The data used for obtaining these equations have been determined theoretically. All the systems have been fully optimized and their electron densities calculated at the B3LYP/6-311 + + G(d,p) level.  相似文献

The mutual effect of hydrogen bonds in BHF(HHal) n complexes (Hal = F, Cl, Br, I; B = –, CH3CN, NH3; n = 1-3) was examined using the self-consistent field ab initio approach (6-31++G(d,p) and ECP-HW). When two and three equivalent H bonds are formed from the lone electron pairs of the fluorine atom of the HF molecule, the mutual weakening effect is 17% and 28%, respectively. The coefficients of the mutual effects of hydrogen bonds in HF(HHal)2 and H2O(HHal)2 bridges are close in magnitude.  相似文献

The potential energy surface of the neutral form of-aminopentanoic acid was investigated by means of ab initio 4-31G SCF calculations. Four symmetry unique local minima are stabilized by an intramolecular O-H NH2 hydrogen bond. The geometries, energies, and wave numbers of these conformers are reported. The hydrogen bond is discussed with respect to all reactions of these conformers and in comparison with the homologues glycine,-alanine, and-aminobutyric acid and also with the bimolecular adducts between formic acid, acetic acid, and propionic acid, on the one hand, and ammonia, methylamine, and ethylamine, on the other hand.  相似文献

Summary The influence of Na+ on hydrogen bonds of the OH O and NH O type between an aliphatic amino acid (glycine zwitterion) and water is investigated byab initio calculations with minimal Gaussian basis sets. Distortion of the hydration shell caused by Na+, and interaction energies contributing to the over-all stabilization are discussed.

4-Aminoethylidene and 4-aminomethylene derivatives of 5-imidazolone exist in the enamine form as two isomers that are stabilized by intramolecular hydrogen bonds of the NHN and NHO type. In solution the enamine with a five-membered H ring is gradually converted to the corresponding isomer with a six-membered H ring with an NHO bond. Fluorescence spectroscopy has been used to determine the binding constants (K) for inclusion complexes of six kinds ofp-Akyphenols with-cyclodextrin (-CDx), heptakis(2,6-di-O-methyl)--CDx (DMe--CDxg), and heptakis(2,3,6-tri-O-methyl)--CDx (TMe--CDx). The stability of the inclusion complex of each cyclodextrin increases with increasing alkyl chain length of thep-alkylphenol. TheK values decrease in the order of DMe--CDx,-CDx, and TMe--CDx for each guest. In complexation of 3-(p-hydroxyphenyl)-1-propanol (3) with-CDx as well as with DMe--CDx, negative enthalpy (H) and positive entropy changes (S) have been obtained, suggesting both van der Waals and hydrophobic interactions as binding forces. The inclusion of 3 by TMe--CDx, however, is an enthalpically favorable but entropically unfavorable process. The van der Waals interactions may be the main binding forces for complexing3 with TMe--CDx.  相似文献

The crystal structure of the complex between the polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon di-benz[a,c]anthracene and 1,3,5-trinitrobenzene is reported. The crystals are triclinic, space group P¯1 with unit cell dimensionsa=7.277(2) å,b=11.237(6) å, andc=13.902(5) å,= 104.13(4),=96.04(3), and =95.15(2). Diffraction data were measured at 121(2) K. The structure was determined and refined toR 1=0.046. The structure consists of layers containing both dibenz[a,c]anthracene and 1,3,5-trinitrobenzene molecules, interconnected within a layer by C-H O interactions. Layers stack on one another so that dibenz[a,c]anthracene molecules are sandwiched between 1,3,5-trinitrobenzene molecules and vice versa. The average distance between molecules in these sandwiches is 3.23 å.  相似文献

Stereoselective hydrogenation of thymol over Rh/alumina in the presence of various equivalents of -cyclodextrin (-CD) and itsderivatives in the solid state was studied. Hydrogenation of thymol in the absence of -CD gave 76.8% epimeric alcohols with a menthol/neomenthol (M/N) ratio of 5.6 and an alcohol/ketone ratio of 4.5, whereas the presence of 0.1 equivalent (to thymol) of -CD gave rise to 94.6% of epimeric alcohols with a M/N ratio of 6.3 and an alcohol/ketone ratio of 45.4. The effect of -cyclodextrin and its derivatives on the modification of the yield and the proportion of epimeric alcohols formed were found to be the salient features of this investigation. Inclusion complexation of thymol by -CD studied by UV-Visible spectroscopyindicated a 2:1 stoichiometry ofthymol: -CD complex with a binding constant value of 480 ±40 M-2.  相似文献

This study was carried out with the aim ofinvestigating the interactions between-cyclodextrin and carbaryl, a carbamatepesticide, and their effect on some physico-chemicalproperties of carbaryl, such as aqueous solubility andlipophilicity. The interactions between carbaryl and-cyclodextrin were thoroughly investigated bothin solution and in the solid state. The effect of-cyclodextrin on the aqueous solubility ofcarbaryl was evaluated by the phase solubility method.The amount of carbaryl dissolved increased linearlywith the addition of -cyclodextrin according toan AL type plot and without precipitation of thecomplex. The apparent stability constant of thecomplex was 289 ± 21 M-1, assuming a 1 : 1stoichiometry; this value was confirmed by a methodbased on circular dichroism measurements.Equimolar carbaryl/-cyclodextrin solid systemswere prepared by physical-mixing and freeze-drying,and fully characterised by Differential ScanningCalorimetry, X-ray powder diffractometry and FourierTransform Infra-Red analysis. The results of the solidstate study demonstrated that the freeze-drying methodyields a system with a high degree of amorphisationand yields an inclusion complex.The dissolution profile of the pesticide was affectedby the physico-chemical properties of each solidsystem, the freeze-dried form dissolving more rapidly. However, the physical association of-cyclodextrin and carbaryl enhanced the aqueoussolubility of the insecticide as well.  相似文献

The imino structure of 2-p-toluimido-4,4-dimethyl-(4H)-1,3-thiazine (I) was demonstrated by x-ray diffraction structural analysis. Molecules of I in the crystal are linked by N-HO hydrogen bonds in infinite chains. A shortened SO intramolecular contact was found which corresponds to a secondary interaction. The compression behaviour of three powder products of Paracetamol–-cyclodextrin solid dispersions (PAR--CD SD) and PAR alone were evaluated using the method of scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The four powder products were: PAR, PAR–-CD physical mixture, kneaded solid dispersion of PAR–-CD and spray dried solid dispersion of PAR–-CD (PAR–-CD ratio of 1 : 1 w/w). By observing the surface, side and broken surface of each tablet sample under different magnifications the compression behaviour, mechanism of consolidation and deformability of particles were evaluated. PAR alone and the PAR–-CD physical mixture were compressed by the brittle fracture mechanism; the PAR–-CD kneaded solid dispersion showed a good plastical deformation. With PAR–-CD spray dried solid dispersion a good plastic deformation and mechanism of cool sintering were postulated. The influence of -CD on the compression behavior of the PAR was proved. The results obtained by the SEM method are well correlated with physicopharmaceutical parameters (crushing strength, disintegration time, friability, elastic recovery and tensile strength) of the tablets.  相似文献

An x-ray diffraction structural analysis was carried out on 1H+,10H+-1,10-diazonia-18-crown-6 diethyldithiophosphate, which exists in the crystal as isolated ionic hydrogen-bonded complexes [H2DA18C6]2+·2(EtO)2PS2 with strong inter-ion N-HS hydrogen bonds. In an effort to modify the solubility and dissolution rate of the contraceptive steroid, 19-norprogesterone in order to improve its bioavailability, the cyclodextrin complexation approach was chosen. In solution, the complex formation with -cyclodextrin (-CD), hydroxyethyl -cyclodextrin (HE--CD) and hydroxypropyl -cyclodextrin (HP--CD) was confirmed by using solubility, UV, IR and 1H-NMR spectrophotometric techniques. The phase solubility diagrams were categorized as AL-type. The complexing affinity of the CDs investigated were ranked as follows: -CD > HP--CD > HE--CD. The complexation thermodynamic parameters were obtained from the temperature dependence of the dissociation constants. In the solid state, differential scanning calorimetery (DSC) and optical microscopy methods were utilized to characterize the complexes. Dissolution studies showed that such molecularly encapsulated forms offered a marked improvement in the dissolution rate compared to the parent drug.  相似文献

Although neverdried cotton (NDC) fiber has been known to exhibit extremely high water absorbency, the reason for this has not yet been elucidated. In this study, changes in water absorbency, bound water content as revealed by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), cellulose content and fiber crosssection observed by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) for NDC fibers at several stages of development (27–57 days postanthesis (DPA)) were investigated. It was found that the bound water content (27g/l00g) of NDC fibers at 50DPA is much smaller than that (40–73g/l00g) for fibers at 27–43DPA. Cellulose synthesis takes place within the cotton boll, a closed watercontaining system. Our results are rationalized by assuming that these water molecules are preventing the formation of intermolecular hydrogen bonds between the cellulose molecules as they are being formed. Other explanations for our experimental findings are: (i) the coexistence of precursors of cellulose and components, such as (1,3);glucans, that are very hydrophilic, and (ii) the presence in each NDC fiber of a prominent lumen that acts as a capillary system for water.  相似文献
