Studies on the chemical constituents of the aerial parts of Ocimum basilicum have led to the isolation of three new compounds, basilol (1), ocimol (2), and basilimoside (3), along with two known constituents betulinic acid and oleanolic acid. The structures of the new constituents have been elucidated through spectral studies including 2D-NMR experiments (HMQC, HMBC, COSY, NOESY, and J-resolved) and chemical transformation, as p-formylphenyl 3beta-hydroxyolean-12-en-28-oate (1), 2-methoxy-4-carbomethoxyphenyl 3beta-hydroxy-lup-20(29)-en-28-oate (2), and (22E)-24xi-ethyl-25-methylcholesta-5,22-diene-3beta-ol-3-O-D-glucopyranoside (3).  相似文献

Two new prenylated isoflavones, named flemiphilippinins E and F, were isolated from the roots of Flemingia philippinensis, together with six known ones. The structures of the above compounds were established by spectroscopic methods. Flemiphilippinins E and F were identified as 5,4'-dihydroxy-8-(3,3-dimethylallyl)-6',6'-dimethyl-5'-(1,1-dimethylallyl) pyrano(2',3':7,6)isoflavone and 5,4'-dihydroxy-4',4',5'-trimethyl-4',5'-dihydrofurano(2',3':7,8) isoflavone, respectively, by a combination of HR-EI-MS, (1)H NMR, (13)C NMR, HMQC, HMBC, and NOESY spectra.  相似文献

The petroleum ether extract of dried ground whole fruits of Piper nigrum L. afforded 20 compounds (1-20) including two new insecticidal amides named as pipnoohine (1), and pipyahyine (2), seven reported for the first time from this plant (12, 13, 15-17, 19, 20), and eleven known compounds (3-11, 14, 18). The structure of 1 has been elucidated as (2E,4E,12Z)-N-(4-methylpentyl)octadeca-2,4,12-trienamide and that of 2 as (2E,4E,11E)-12-(benzo[1,3]dioxol-5-yl)-N-(3-methylbutyl)dodeca-2,4,11-trien-amide through extensive ID-, 2D-NMR spectral studies and chemical reactions. The known compounds have been identified through comparison of their spectral data with those reported in literature. 1 and 2 exhibited toxicity at 35.0 and 30.0 ppm respectively against fourth instar larvae of Aedes aegypti L. by WHO method.  相似文献

Four new nona-oxygenated C18 dibenzocyclooctadiene lignans, kadsuphilins C-F (1-4), were isolated from the EtOAc soluble portion of the alcoholic extract of the aerial parts of Kadsura philippinensis. The structures of 1-4 were elucidated on the basis of extensive spectroscopic analyses, including 2D NMR (HMQC, HMBC, and NOESY) experiments, comparison of the spectral data with those of the related metabolites. The stereochemistries of the biphenyl and octadiene moieties were deduced from circular dichorism (CD) and the NOESY spectra, respectively. The in vitro antiplatelet aggregation activity of metabolites 1-4 also have been evaluated.  相似文献

Two new acaranoic acids, named seimatoporic acid A and B (1, and 2), together with six known compounds, R-(-)-mellein (3), cis-4-hydroxymellein (4), trans-4-hydroxymellein (5), 4R-hydroxy-5-methylmellein (6), (-)-5-hydroxymethylmellein (7), and ergosterol (8) were isolated from an endophytic fungus, Seimatosporium sp, by a bioassay-guided procedure. The structures of the new compounds have been assigned from analysis of the 1H and 13C NMR spectra, DEPT, and by 2D COSY, HMQC, HMBC and NOESY experiments. A mixture of compounds 1 and 2 showed strong antifungal activity against Botrytis cinerea, Septoria tritici, and Pyricularia oryzae.  相似文献

The C(18) dibenzocyclooctadiene lignans including three novel schizanrin F (1), G (2), H (3), along with the known kadsurarin (4), were isolated from Kadsura matsudai. A new C(19) homolignan named schiarisanrin E (5), together with the known C(18) lignans, gomisin B (6), G (7) and (+)-gomisin K(3) (8) were obtained from Schizandra arisanensis. Gomisin B, G and (+)-gomisin K(3) showed moderate to strong activity for antihepatitis in anti-HBsAg (human type B hepatitis, surface antigen) and/or anti-HBeAg (human type B hepatitis, e antigen) tests. The structural elucidations of new compounds 1-3 and 5 were based on two-dimensional (2D) NMR techniques including COSY, HMQC, HMBC, NOESY and CD spectra. Preliminary structure-activity relationship studies for these isolated lignans are also discussed.  相似文献

A new 5-O-beta-D-glucopyranosyl-4-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-7-methoxy-2H-chromen-2-one (1), together with four known compounds, one coumarin, 5-O-beta-D-galactopyranosyl-4-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-7-methoxy-2H-chromen-2-one (2) and three cucurbitacins, 23,24-dihydrocucurbitacin F (3), 23,24-dihydro-25-acetylcucurbitacin F (4) and 2-O-beta-D-glucopyranosyl-23,24-dihydrocucurbitacin F (5) have been isolated and characterised from the ethanol extract of Coutarea hexandra fruits. Their structures have been established by spectroscopic analysis (NMR and MS). Interpretation of the HMQC, HMBC, COSY-45 and NOESY experiments permitted us to establish stereochemistry of the natural products. All compounds were tested in cytotoxicity assays against the breast (MCF-7), lung (H-460), and central nervous system (SF-268) human cancer cell lines.  相似文献

Diastereoselective synthesis of a series of (Z)-1-[3-aryl-2-(phenylsulfanyl)-2-oxiranyl]-1-ethanones was effected from the reaction of (Z)-4-aryl-3-(phenylsulfanyl)-3-buten-2-ones with alkaline hydrogen peroxide in tetrahydrofuran. A new coumestan, tephcalostan (1) has been isolated from the whole plant of Tephrosia calophylla BEDD. together with two known flavonoids, 7-O-methylglabranin (2) and kaempferol 3-O-beta-D-glucopyranoside (3). The structure of tephcalostan was elucidated as 5'-(R)-8, 9-methylenedioxy-5'-isopropenyl-4', 5'-dihydrofurano[2', 3':2, 3]coumestan by extensive one-and two-dimensional (1D- and 2D-)-NMR techniques including (1)H-(1)H correlation spectroscopy (COSY), heteronuclear single quantum coherence (HSQC), heteronuclear multiple bond connectivity (HMBC) and nuclear Overhauser enhancement spectroscopy (NOESY) experiments.  相似文献

From a China mangrove plant Acanthus ilicifolius Linn., a new compound, 5,11-epoxymegastigmane glucoside (1) was isolated along with one known compound of megastigmane glucosides, (6S, 9S)-roseoside (2). Chemical investigation of the sponge Dactylospongia n. sp. collected near Mooloolaba, S.E. Queensland, has led to the isolation of dactylospongiaquinone (7) together with the known quinones (2-5). The new metabolite 7 possesses a different carbon framework from the known dictyoceratidaquinone (9) and is suggested to possess a cis-fused ring junction by extensive NOESY studies combined with molecular modelling calculations. The relative stereochemistry of the previously described cyclospongiaquinone-1 (3) and dehydrocyclospongiaquinone-1 (4) is also assigned on the basis of NOESY analyses. Full NMR spectroscopic assignments are provided for all compounds.  相似文献

A chemical examination of the mangrove plant Avicennia marina (Forrsk.) Vierh resulted in the isolation and characterization of five new iridoids, marinoids A-E (1-5), along with 2'-cinnamoyl-mussaenosidic acid (6), 2'-O-(4'-methoxycinnamoyl) mussaenosidic acid (7), 2'-O-(4'-hydroxycinnamoyl) mussaenosidic acid (8), and 3(R)-hydroxy-5-phenyl-4(E)-pentenoic acid (9). The petroleum ether and ethyl acetate fractions of dried ground seeds of Piper nigrum Linn. afforded sixteen compounds (1-16) including one new insecticidal amide, pipwaqarine (1) and six constituents (3,4,6,7,11,15) previously unreported from this plant. The structure of (1) has been elucidated through extensive 1D-, 2D-NMR spectral studies as, 1-[13-(3',4'-methylenedioxyphenyl)-2E,4E,12E-tridecatrienoyl]-N-isopentylamide, while those of known constituents through comparison of spectral data. 1 exhibited toxicity of 30ppm against fourth instar larvae of Aedes aegypti Liston determined by WHO method. A portion of petroleum ether fraction was also subjected to GC and GC-MS analysis resulting in the identification of three compounds (17-19) using the NIST Mass spectral search program 1998 and Kovat's retention indices. Two of these compounds, 17 and 18, are reported for the first time from this plant.  相似文献
