This paper addresses the problem of reachable set bounding for linear discrete-time systems that are subject to state delay and bounded disturbances. Based on the Lyapunov method, a sufficient condition for the existence of ellipsoid-based bounds of reachable sets of a linear uncertain discrete system is derived in terms of matrix inequalities. Here, a new idea is to minimize the projection distances of the ellipsoids on each axis with different exponential convergence rates, instead of minimization of their radius with a single exponential rate. A smaller bound can thus be obtained from the intersection of these ellipsoids. A numerical example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach.  相似文献

This paper investigates the problem of two stochastic complex networks synchronize to the limit set with adaptive controller and adaptive delay, which are not fully considered in the existing research. A few articles on stability of stochastic complex networks with time‐varying delay is discussed, but the time‐varying delayed and its derivative are bounded on time t. In this article, the nonfragile passivity and passification problems are investigated for a class of nonlinear singular networked control systems (NCSs) with network‐induced time‐varying delay. In particular, the randomly occurring controller gain fluctuation is taken into consideration by introducing the stochastic variable satisfying the Bernoulli random distribution. By constructing proper Lyapunov–Krasovskii function, delay‐dependent sufficient conditions are established to guarantee the passivity of the singular NCSs. Based on the derived results, the nonfragile passification controller is further designed in terms of linear matrix inequalities. New properties of outer polyhedral (parallelepipedal) estimates for reachable sets of linear differential systems are studied. For systems with a stable matrix, it is determined what the orientation matrices are for which the estimates possessing the generalized semigroup property are bounded/unbounded on an infinite time interval. In particular, criteria are found (formulated in terms of the eigenvalues of the system’s matrix and the properties of bounding sets) that guarantee for previously mentioned tangent estimates and estimates with a constant orientation matrix that either there are initial orientation matrices for which the corresponding estimate tubes are bounded or all these tubes are unbounded. For linear stationary systems, a system of ordinary differential equations and algebraic relations is derived that determines estimates with constant orientation matrices for reachable sets that have no generalized semigroup property but are tangent and also bounded if the matrix of the system is stable.  相似文献

This article focuses on the robust sampled‐data control for a class of uncertain switched neutral systems based on the average dwell‐time approach. In particular, the system is considered with probabilistic input delay using sampled state vectors, which are described by the stochastic variables with a Bernoulli distributed white sequence and time‐varying norm‐bounded uncertainties. By constructing a novel Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional which involves the lower and upper bounds of the delay, a new set of sufficient conditions are derived in terms of linear matrix inequalities for ensuring the robust exponential stability of the uncertain switched neutral system about its equilibrium point. Moreover, based on the stability criteria, a state feedback sampled‐data control law is designed for the considered system. Finally, a numerical example based on the water‐quality dynamic model for the Nile River is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed design technique. © 2015 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. This article deals with the problem of nonfragile H output tracking control for a kind of singular Markovian jump systems with time‐varying delays, parameter uncertainties, network‐induced signal transmission delays, and data packet dropouts. The main objective is to design mode‐dependent state‐feedback controller under controller gain perturbations and bounded modes transition rates such that the output of the closed‐loop networked control system tracks the output of a given reference system with the required H output tracking performance. By constructing a more multiple stochastic Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional, the novel mode‐dependent and delay‐dependent conditions are obtained to guarantee the augmented output tracking closed‐loop system is not only stochastically admissible but also satisfies a prescribed H‐norm level for all signal transmission delays, data packet dropouts, and admissible uncertainties. Then, the desired state‐feedback controller parameters are determined by solving a set of strict linear matrix inequalities. A simple production system example and two numerical examples are used to verify the effectiveness and usefulness of the proposed methods. © 2015 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. This article is concerned with the problem of state observer for complex large‐scale systems with unknown time‐varying delayed interactions. The class of large‐scale interconnected systems under consideration is subjected to interval time‐varying delays and nonlinear perturbations. By introducing a set of argumented Lyapunov–Krasovskii functionals and using a new bounding estimation technique, novel delay‐dependent conditions for existence of state observers with guaranteed exponential stability are derived in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). In our design approach, the set of full‐order Luenberger‐type state observers are systematically derived via the use of an efficient LMI‐based algorithm. In this paper, problem of robust finite-time stability and control is first time discussed for singular linear time-delay systems subject to disturbance. By developing delay singular value decomposition approach combining with linear matrix inequality (LMI) technique, new sufficient conditions for the existence of such controllers are proposed in terms of the solvability to a set of LMIs. In this paper, the consensus problem of uncertain nonlinear multi‐agent systems is investigated via reliable control in the presence of probabilistic time‐varying delay. First, the communication topology among the agents is assumed to be directed and fixed. Second, by introducing a stochastic variable which satisfies Bernoulli distribution, the information of probabilistic time‐varying delay is equivalently transformed into the deterministic time‐varying delay with stochastic parameters. Third, by using Laplacian matrix properties, the consensus problem is converted into the conventional stability problem of the closed‐loop system. The main objective of this paper is to design a state feedback reliable controller such that for all admissible uncertainties as well as actuator failure cases, the resulting closed‐loop system is robustly stable in the sense of mean‐square. For this purpose, through construction of a suitable Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional containing four integral terms and utilization of Kronecker product properties along with the matrix inequality techniques, a new set of delay‐dependent consensus stabilizability conditions for the closed‐loop system is obtained. Based on these conditions, the desired reliable controller is designed in terms of linear matrix inequalities which can be easily solved by using any of the effective optimization algorithms. Moreover, a numerical example and its simulations are included to demonstrate the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed control design scheme. © 2016 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. This article deals with the problem of robust stochastic asymptotic stability for a class of uncertain stochastic neural networks with distributed delay and multiple time‐varying delays. It is noted that the reciprocally convex approach has been intensively used in stability analysis for time‐delay systems in the past few years. We will extend the approach from deterministic time‐delay systems to stochastic time‐delay systems. And based on the new technique dealing with matrix cross‐product and multiple‐interval‐dependent Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional, some novel delay‐dependent stability criteria with less conservatism and less decision variables for the addressed system are derived in terms of linear matrix inequalities. This paper considers the problems of the robust stability analysis and H controller synthesis for uncertain discrete‐time switched systems with interval time‐varying delay and nonlinear disturbances. Based on the system transformation and by introducing a switched Lyapunov‐Krasovskii functional, the novel sufficient conditions, which guarantee that the uncertain discrete‐time switched system is robust asymptotically stable are obtained in terms of linear matrix inequalities. Then, the robust H control synthesis via switched state feedback is studied for a class of discrete‐time switched systems with uncertainties and nonlinear disturbances. We designed a switched state feedback controller to stabilize asymptotically discrete‐time switched systems with interval time‐varying delay and H disturbance attenuation level based on matrix inequality conditions. The problems of solvability, controllability, and observability for the singular systemKx(t)=Ax(t)+Bu(t) are studied, whereK is a singular, square matrix andu(t) is a complex vector function sufficiently differentiable. The classical theories of matrix pencils are first related to the solvability of singular systems. Then, the concepts of reachability, controllability, and observability of regular systems are extended to singular systems. Finally, the set of reachable states is described. This paper investigates the asymptotical stability of Riemann‐Liouville q‐fractional neutral systems with mixed delays (constant time delay and distributed delay). By constructing some appropriate Lyapunov‐Kravsovskii functionals, some sufficient conditions on delay‐dependent and delay‐independent asymptotical stability are obtained in terms of linear matrix inequality (LMI). Our employed method is based on the direct calculation of quantum derivatives of the Lyapunov‐Kravsovskii functionals. Finally, two examples are presented to demonstrate the availability of our obtained results.  相似文献

This article investigates the delay‐dependent robust dissipative sampled‐data control problem for a class of uncertain nonlinear systems with both differentiable and non‐differentiable time‐varying delays. The main purpose of this article is to design a retarded robust control law such that the resulting closed‐loop system is strictly (Q, S, R)‐dissipative. By introducing a suitable Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional and using free weighting matrix approach, some sufficient conditions for the solvability of the addressed problem are derived in terms of linear matrix inequalities. From the obtained dissipative result, we deduce four cases namely, H performance, passivity performance, mixed H, and passivity performance and sector bounded performance of the considered system. From the obtained result, it is concluded that based on the passivity performance it is possible to obtain the controller with less control effort, and also the minimum H performance and the maximum allowable delay for achieving stabilization conditions can be obtained via the mixed H and passivity control law. The boundedness and unboundedness properties of external polyhedral (paralle-lepiped-valued) estimates are investigated for reachable sets of linear differential systems with a stable matrix. Boundedness and unboundedness criteria on an infinite time interval are presented for two types of estimates (“touching” estimates, which were introduced earlier, and estimates with constant orientation matrix). Conditions for the system matrix and bounding sets are given under which there are bounded estimates among the estimates of the mentioned types, under which there are unbounded estimates, and under which all the estimates are bounded or all the estimates are unbounded. In terms of the exponents of the estimates, the possible rate of their growth is described. For two-dimensional systems, the classification and comparison of possible situations of the boundedness or unboundedness for estimates of both types are given and boundedness criteria for estimates with special (orthogonal and “quasi-orthogonal”) constant orientation matrices are found. In this article, an exponential stability analysis of Markovian jumping stochastic bidirectional associative memory (BAM) neural networks with mode‐dependent probabilistic time‐varying delays and impulsive control is investigated. By establishment of a stochastic variable with Bernoulli distribution, the information of probabilistic time‐varying delay is considered and transformed into one with deterministic time‐varying delay and stochastic parameters. By fully taking the inherent characteristic of such kind of stochastic BAM neural networks into account, a novel Lyapunov‐Krasovskii functional is constructed with as many as possible positive definite matrices which depends on the system mode and a triple‐integral term is introduced for deriving the delay‐dependent stability conditions. Furthermore, mode‐dependent mean square exponential stability criteria are derived by constructing a new Lyapunov‐Krasovskii functional with modes in the integral terms and using some stochastic analysis techniques. The criteria are formulated in terms of a set of linear matrix inequalities, which can be checked efficiently by use of some standard numerical packages. 研究了时滞广义时变系统的容许性与镇定性问题.首先,基于广义Lyapunov不等式、线性矩阵不等式和受限等价方法,建立时滞广义时变系统的Lyapunov不等式,将时滞广义时变系统的容许性问题转化为求解时滞广义时变系统的Lyapunov不等式问题,得到了系统容许的充分条件.然后,根据充分条件进一步研究了时滞广义时变系统的镇定问题,给出了状态反馈镇定器的设计方法.最后,通过数值算例验证了所得结论的有效性.  相似文献
