This paper is a direct continuation of the first paper in this series[Quaestiones Math. 8 (1985), no. 2,], which deals Kith the evolution problem [B(t)u(t)]' = A(t)u(t), Bu(0) = y. whereas in the first paper existence and uniqueness results were presented, this paper contains the ancillary results formulated in the first paper. These results describe the properties of B(t)-evolutions with non-stationary generating pairs, as well as of the solution operator of [B(t)u(t)]' = Au, Bu(0) = y.

The notation of the first paper is assumed throughout and is used without further note. Citation of results from the first paper is made by equation number. The numbering of this paper follows that of the first paper in sequence.  相似文献

This paper studies three ways to construct a nonhomogeneous jump Markov process: (i) via a compensator of the random measure of a multivariate point process, (ii) as a minimal solution of the backward Kolmogorov equation, and (iii) as a minimal solution of the forward Kolmogorov equation. The main conclusion of this paper is that, for a given measurable transition intensity, commonly called a Q-function, all these constructions define the same transition function. If this transition function is regular, that is, the probability of accumulation of jumps is zero, then this transition function is the unique solution of the backward and forward Kolmogorov equations. For continuous Q-functions, Kolmogorov equations were studied in Feller?s seminal paper. In particular, this paper extends Feller?s results for continuous Q-functions to measurable Q-functions and provides additional results.  相似文献

In this paper, Hamilton’s principle, Lagrange multiplier, geometric constraints, partitioning method and Baumgarte stabilization method (BSM) are employed to derive the dynamic equations of a spatial slider–crank mechanism that is driven by a servomotor. The formulation considers the effects of links masses, external forces and motor electric inputs. Comparing dynamic responses between the experimental results and numerical simulations, dynamic modeling gives a wonderful interpretation for the spatial slider–crank mechanism. In this paper, a new identification method based on real-coded genetic algorithm (RGA) is presented to identify the parameters of a spatial slider–crank mechanism. The method promotes the calculation efficiency very much, and is calculated by real-code without the operations of encoding and decoding. The results of numerical simulations and experimental results prove that the identification method is feasible. The contributions of this paper are that the comparison of mathematical modeling and identification between numerical simulations and experimental results are all realized.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

The purpose of this paper is to study the existence of maximal elements with applications to Nash equilibrium problems for generalized games in Hadamard manifolds. By employing a KKM lemma, we establish a new maximal element theorem in Hadamard manifolds. As applications, some existence results of Nash equilibria for generalized games are derived. The results in this paper unify, improve and extend some known results from the literature.  相似文献

The present paper first shows that, without any dependent structure assumptions for a sequence of random variables, the refined results of the complete convergence for the sequence is equivalent to the corresponding complete moment convergence of the sequence. Then this paper investigates the convergence rates and refined convergence rates (or complete moment convergence) for probabilities of moderate deviations of moving average processes. The results in this paper extend and generalize some well-known results.  相似文献

In this paper, we present a posteriori error estimates of gradient recovery type for elliptic obstacle problems. The a posteriori error estimates provide both lower and upper error bounds. It is shown to be equivalent to the discretization error in an energy type norm for general meshes. Furthermore, when the solution is smooth and the mesh is uniform, it is shown to be asymptotically exact. Some numerical results which demonstrate the theoretical results are also reported in this paper.  相似文献

An almost periodic nonlinear predator–prey system with N prey species and M predator species is revisited in this paper. A set of essentially new criteria are obtained for the existence and global asymptotic stability of a unique positive almost periodic solution. The obtained results provide an answer to an open problem arising in a recent paper. Not only an important restriction of their theorem is removed, but also some other conditions are weakened in this paper. Moreover, a mistake in their assumption is corrected. By applying the obtained results to some special predator–prey systems and competitive systems, many earlier results are significantly improved. Finally, several illustrative examples and their simulations are provided to show the effectiveness of the obtained results.  相似文献

The main goal of this paper is to prove existence and comparison results for elliptic differential inclusions governed by a quasilinear elliptic operator and a multivalued function given by Clarke’s generalized gradient of some locally Lipschitz function. These kinds of problems have been treated in the past by various authors including the authors of this paper. However, in all the works we are aware of, additional assumptions on the structure of the elliptic operator and/or the generalized Clarke’s gradient are needed to get comparison results in terms of sub-supersolutions. Comparison principles were obtained recently, e.g., in the case where the elliptic operator is of potential type, or Clarke’s gradient is required to satisfy some one-sided growth condition, or the sub-supersolutions are supposed to satisfy additional properties. The novelty of this paper is that we are able to obtain a comparison principle without assuming any of the above restrictions. To the best of our knowledge this is the first mathematical treatment of the considered elliptic inclusion in its full generality. The obtained results of this paper complement the development of the sub-supersolution method for nonsmooth problems presented in a recent monograph by S. Carl, Vy K. Le and D. Motreanu.  相似文献

In this paper, we present a general class of BAM neural networks with discontinuous neuron activations and impulses. By using the fixed point theorem in differential inclusions theory, we investigate the existence of periodic solution for this neural network. By constructing the suitable Lyapunov function, we give a sufficient condition which ensures the uniqueness and global exponential stability of the periodic solution. The results of this paper show that the Forti’s conjecture is true for BAM neural networks with discontinuous neuron activations and impulses. Further, a numerical example is given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the results obtained in this paper.  相似文献

Abstract

The aim of this paper is to introduce the generalized viscosity implicit rules of one asymptotically nonexpansive mapping in the intermediate sense in Hilbert spaces. We obtain some strong convergence theorems under certain assumptions imposed on the parameters. We also give a numerical example to support our main results. The results obtained in this paper improve and extend many recent ones in this culture.  相似文献

This paper deals with the synchronization problem for competitive neural networks with different time scales, as well as mixed time-varying delays (both discrete and distributed time-varying delays) and stochastic disturbance. By using stochastic analysis approaches and constructing a novel Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional, an adaptive feedback controller is proposed to guarantee the exponential synchronization of proposed competitive neural networks in terms of p-norm. The synchronization results presented in this paper generalize and improve many known results. This paper also presents an illustrative example and uses simulated results of this example to show the feasibility and effectiveness of the theoretical results.  相似文献

In this paper, the transformations of generating systems of Euclidean space are examined in connection with the Drazin inverse of their Gram matrices and the notion of biorthogonal systems is generalized. In this paper, a topological intersection theorem of a family of sets with H-convex sections is established. As an application to this theorem, the Nash equilibrium of abstract economy, the Ky-Fan minimax theorem, and an existence problem of solution for quasi-variational inequality are studied. It is well known that the category of covering projections (that is, locally constant objects) of a locally connected topos is equivalent to the classifying topos of a strict progroupoid (or, equivalently, a localic prodiscrete groupoid), the fundamental progroupoid, and that this progroupoid represents first degree cohomology. In this paper we generalize these results to an arbitrary topos. The fundamental progroupoid is now a localic progroupoid, and cannot be replaced by a localic groupoid. The classifying topos is no longer a Galois topos. Not all locally constant objects can be considered as covering projections. The key contribution of this paper is a novel definition of covering projection for a general topos, which coincides with the usual definition when the topos is locally connected. The results in this paper were presented in a talk at the Category Theory Conference, Vancouver, July 2004.  相似文献

In this paper a nonlocal phase-field model for non-isothermal phase transitions with a non-conserved order parameter is studied. The paper extends recent investigations to the non-isothermal situation, complementing results obtained by H. Gajewski for the non-isothermal case for conserved order parameters in phase separation phenomena. The resulting field equations studied in this paper form a system of integro-partial differential equations which are highly nonlinearly coupled. For this system, results concerning global existence, uniqueness and large-time asymptotic behaviour are derived. The main results are proved using techniques that have been recently developed by P. Krej?í and the authors for phase-field systems involving hysteresis operators.  相似文献

This paper investigates the existence of solutions for nonlinear systems of second order, singular boundary value problems (BVPs) with Bohr boundary conditions. A key application that arises from this theory is the famous Thomas–Fermi equations for the model of the atom when it is in a neutral state. The methodology in this paper uses an alternative and equivalent BVP, which is in the class of resonant singular BVPs, and thus this paper obtains novel results by implementing an innovative differential inequality, Lyapunov functions and topological techniques. This approach furnishes new results in the area of singular BVPs for a priori bounds and existence of solutions, where the BVP has unrestricted growth conditions and subject to the Bohr boundary conditions. In addition, the results can be relaxed and hold for the non-singular case too.  相似文献
