In this paper, we study the following anisotropic problem with singularity: where is a bounded domain with smooth boundary. Using the critical point theory, we obtain the existence of weak solutions for the problem under suitable conditions. Copyright © 2015 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider the multiplicity results of nontrivial nonnegative solutions of the quasilinear p‐Laplacian system with the nonlinear boundary conditions: (0.1) where Ω is a smooth exterior domain in is the outward normal derivative on the boundary Γ = ?Ω, and . By the Nehari manifold and variational methods, we prove that the problem (0.1) has at least two nontrivial nonnegative solutions when the pair of the parameters (λ,μ) belongs to a certain subset of . This paper is concerned with the energy decay for a class of plate equations with memory and lower order perturbation of p‐Laplacian type, with simply supported boundary condition, where Ω is a bounded domain of , g > 0 is a memory kernel that decays exponentially and f(u) is a nonlinear perturbation. This kind of problem without the memory term models elastoplastic flows. Copyright © 2012 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

This paper considers the 2‐species chemotaxis‐Stokes system with competitive kinetics under homogeneous Neumann boundary conditions in a 3‐dimensional bounded domain with smooth boundary. Both chemotaxis‐fluid systems and 2‐species chemotaxis systems with competitive terms were studied by many mathematicians. However, there have not been rich results on coupled 2‐species–fluid systems. Recently, global existence and asymptotic stability in the above problem with (u·∇)u in the fluid equation were established in the 2‐dimensional case. The purpose of this paper is to give results for global existence, boundedness, and stabilization of solutions to the above system in the 3‐dimensional case when is sufficiently small.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with the existence of positive solutions to a class of nonlocal boundary value problem of the p‐Kirchhoff type where is a bounded smooth domain and M,f, and g are continuous functions. The existence of a positive solution is stated through an iterative method based on mountain pass theorem. Copyright © 2016 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

We study the initial boundary value problem for the one‐dimensional Kuramoto–Sivashinsky equation posed in a half line with nonhomogeneous boundary conditions. Through the analysis of the boundary integral operator, and applying the known results of the Cauchy problem of the Kuramoto–Sivashinsky equation posed on the whole line , the initial boundary value problem of the Kuramoto–Sivashinsky equation is shown to be globally well‐posed in Sobolev space for any s >?2. This paper is focused on following time‐harmonic Maxwell equation: where is a bounded Lipschitz domain, is the exterior normal, and ω is the frequency. The boundary condition holds when Ω is surrounded by a perfect conductor. Assuming that f is asymptotically linear as , we study the above equation by improving the generalized Nehari manifold method. For an anisotropic material with magnetic permeability tensor and permittivity tensor , ground state solutions are established in this paper. Applying the principle of symmetric criticality, we find 2 types of solutions with cylindrical symmetries in particular for the uniaxial material.  相似文献

This paper is devoted to the study of the blow‐up phenomena of following nonlinear reaction diffusion equations with Robin boundary conditions: Here, is a bounded convex domain with smooth boundary. With the aid of a differential inequality technique and maximum principles, we establish a blow‐up or non–blow‐up criterion under some appropriate assumptions on the functions f,g,ρ,k, and u0. Moreover, we dedicate an upper bound and a lower bound for the blow‐up time when blowup occurs.  相似文献

The nonstationary Stokes system with slip boundary conditions is considered in a bounded domain . We prove the existence and uniqueness of solutions to the problem in anisotropic Sobolev spaces . Thanks to the slip boundary conditions, the Stokes problem is transformed to the Poisson and the heat equation. In this way, difficult calculations that must be performed in considerations of boundary value problems for the Stokes system are avoided. This approach does not work for the Dirichlet and the Neumann boundary conditions. Because solvability of the Poisson and the heat equation is carried out by the regularizer technique, we have that σ > 3,α > 0. Copyright © 2014 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

This paper develops an abstract theory for subdifferential operators to give existence and uniqueness of solutions to the initial‐boundary problem P for the nonlinear diffusion equation in an unbounded domain ( ), written as which represents the porous media, the fast diffusion equations, etc, where β is a single‐valued maximal monotone function on , and T>0. In Kurima and Yokota (J Differential Equations 2017; 263:2024‐2050 and Adv Math Sci Appl 2017; 26:221‐242) existence and uniqueness of solutions for P were directly proved under a growth condition for β even though the Stefan problem was excluded from examples of P . This paper completely removes the growth condition for β by confirming Cauchy's criterion for solutions of the following approximate problem ε with approximate parameter ε>0: which is called the Cahn‐Hilliard system, even if ( ) is an unbounded domain. Moreover, it can be seen that the Stefan problem excluded from Kurima and Yokota (J Differential Equations 2017; 263:2024‐2050 and Adv Math Sci Appl 2017; 26:221‐242) is covered in the framework of this paper.  相似文献

The purpose of this paper is to show existence of a solution of the Dirichlet problem for a nonlinear generalized Darcy–Forchheimer–Brinkman system in a bounded Lipschitz domain in , with small boundary datum in L2‐based Sobolev spaces. A useful intermediary result is the well‐posedness of the Poisson problem for a generalized Brinkman system in a bounded Lipschitz domain in , with Dirichlet boundary condition and data in L2‐based Sobolev spaces. We obtain this well‐posedness result by showing that the matrix type operator associated with the Poisson problem is an isomorphism. Then, we combine the well‐posedness result from the linear case with a fixed point theorem in order to show the existence of a solution of the Dirichlet problem for the nonlinear generalized Darcy–Forchheimer–Brinkman system. Some applications are also included. Copyright © 2014 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

In this paper, we study the global well‐posedness and scattering theory of the solution to the Cauchy problem of a generalized fourth‐order wave equation where if d ?4, and if d ?5. The main strategy we use in this paper is concentration‐compactness argument, which was first introduced by Kenig and Merle to handle the scattering problem vector so as to control the momentum. This paper deals with the following chemotaxis system: in a bounded domain with smooth boundary under no‐flux boundary conditions, where satisfies for all with l ?2 and some nondecreasing function on [0,). Here, f (v )∈C 1([0,)) is nonnegative for all v ?0. It is proved that when , the system possesses at least one global bounded weak solution for any sufficiently smooth nonnegative initial data. This extends a recent result by Wang (Math. Methods Appl. Sci. 2016 39 : 1159–1175) which shows global existence and boundedness of weak solutions under the condition . In this paper, we are concerned with the multiplicity of nontrivial solutions for the following class of biharmonic problem where is a bounded domain with smooth boundary. This paper is concerned with the initial‐boundary value problem for one‐dimensional strongly damped wave equation involving p‐Laplacian. For p > 2 , we establish the existence of weak local attractors for this problem in . Under restriction 2 < p < 4, we prove that the semigroup, generated by the considered problem, possesses a strong global attractor in , and this attractor is a bounded subset of . A reaction‐diffusion system with free boundary is proposed to describe the transmission of the dengue disease from mosquitoes to humans. In addition to the classical basic reproduction number R0, the spatial‐temporal basic reproduction number is introduced to determine the persistence and eradication of the disease. Some sufficient conditions for the disease vanishing or spreading are obtained. The disease will go extinct under one of the conditions: the classical basic reproduction number R0 < 1 and the spatial‐temporal basic reproduction number with small expanding capability. The spread of the disease in the whole area is possible if for some t≥0. Numerical simulations are also given to illustrate the theoretical results.  相似文献

This paper is devoted to the investigation of the global dynamics of a SEIR model with information dependent vaccination. The basic reproduction number is derived for the model, and it is shown that gives the threshold dynamics in the sense that the disease‐free equilibrium is globally asymptotically stable and the disease dies out if , while there exists at least one positive periodic solution and the disease is uniformly persistent when . Further, we give the approximation formula of . This answers the concerns presented in [B. Buonomo, A. d'Onofrio, D. Lacitignola, Modeling of pseudo‐rational exemption to vaccination for SEIR diseases, J. Math. Anal. Appl. 404 (2013) 385–398]. Copyright © 2014 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider the nonlocal non‐autonomous evolution problems where Ω is a bounded smooth domain in , N≥1, β is a positive constant, the coefficient a is a continuous bounded function on , and K is an integral operator with symmetric kernel , being J a non‐negative function continuously differentiable on and . We prove the existence of global pullback attractor, and we exhibit a functional to evolution process generated by this problem that decreases along of solutions. Assuming the parameter β is small enough, we show that the origin is locally pullback asymptotically stable. Copyright © 2014 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

The initial boundary value problem for a class of scalar nonautonomous conservation laws in 1 space dimension is proved to be well posed and stable with respect to variations in the flux. Targeting applications to traffic, the regularity assumptions on the flow are extended to a merely dependence on time. These results ensure, for instance, the well‐posedness of a class of vehicular traffic models with time‐dependent speed limits. A traffic management problem is then shown to admit an optimal solution.  相似文献

In this paper, a class of virus infection model with Beddington–DeAngelis infection function and cytotoxic T‐lymphocyte immune response is investigated. Time delay in the immune response term is incorporated into the model. We show that the dynamics of the model are determined by the basic reproduction number and the immune response reproduction number . If , then the infection‐free equilibrium is globally asymptotically stable. If , then the immune‐free equilibrium is globally asymptotically stable. If , then the stability of the interior equilibrium is investigated. We conclude that Hopf bifurcation occurs as the time delay passes through a critical value. Numerical simulations are carried out to support our theoretical conclusion well. Copyright © 2015 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献
