The results of calculating the shock wave structure in Ne–Ar, He–Ar, He–Ne, and He–Xe mixtures by means of the relaxation method on the basis of the system of Navier-Stokes equations and complete and modified systems of Burnett equations are compared with the results of direct statistical simulation (Monte-Carlo method). The domain of applicability of these systems of equations for calculating gas dynamic variable profiles is analyzed as a function of both the molecular mass ratio and the initialconcentrations.  相似文献

The drill-string dynamics is difficult to predict due to the non-linearities and uncertainties involved in the problem. In this paper a stochastic computational model is proposed to model uncertainties in the bit–rock interaction model. To do so, a new strategy that uses the non-parametric probabilistic approach is developed to take into account model uncertainties in the bit–rock non-linear interaction model. The mean model considers the main forces applied to the column such as the bit–rock interaction, the fluid–structure interaction and the impact forces. The non-linear Timoshenko beam theory is used and the non-linear dynamical equations are discretized by means of the finite element method.  相似文献

The theory of a thin shock layer [1–3] is used to obtain a formula for calculating the component of the vorticity in the direction of the flow on a wing of small aspect ratio in a hypersonic gas stream. Steady high-Reynolds-number flow of a viscous incompressible fluid past a slender axisymmetric body is considered. The structure of the near wake and the boundary layer in the vicinity of the rear end of the body is studied. The relationship between the maximum relative body thickness and the rearend shape giving a local boundary layer — potential flow interaction zone in a small neighborhood of the rear end is found. The elastoviscoplastic behavior of a discretely reinforced shell under axisymmetric nonstationary loading is considered within the framework of the geometrically and physically nonlinear Timoshenko-type theory of shells. The stress–strain state of the structure is studied in terms of the incremental plasticity with kinematic hardening and dynamic yielding condition, which allows for the dynamic viscosity of the structure. The nonstationary behavior of a rigidly fastened reinforced shell under axisymmetric pulse loading normal to the shell surface is considered as an example. In this paper we present the results of an investigation of the influence of distributed suction on the structure of a turbulent boundary layer in an aqueous medium. Results of an experimental study of the shock–wave deformation of TiNi and its effect on the crystallographic structure and temperature of austenite–martensite transformations are given. It is found that, for pressures of up to 2 GPa, shock–wave loading changes the defect structure and parameters of the lattice; however, this does not lead to a noticeable change in the temperature of the austenite–martensite transformation and the manifestation of the shapeNdash;memory effect.  相似文献

The structure of detonation waves in air suspensions of unitary fuels (fuels containing an oxidant such as gunpowder and high explosives) is investigated. In such systems, complete combustion of the particles is possible at a high mass concentration of the fuel. As a result, the structure of detonation differs from that in gas-drop [1–3] and gas [4, 5] mixtures. The shock adiabats characteristic for air suspensions [6, 7] are used to investigate the field of integral curves which describe the structure of detonation waves in disperse media. Calculated distributions of the parameters which characterize the gas and particles in the detonation front are given. The influence of the rate of combustion of the particles and the intensity of interphase friction on the structure of the detonation is investigated. Results of the calculation of the structure of relaxation shock waves in gas suspensions of the solid fuel of rockets are given in [8]. The flow of an annular jet in a channel is studied. The effect of the Mach number of the wake on the structure of the jet is determined. Mechanisms are considered by which acoustic oscillations influence the structure of subsonic shear flows. Analysis of the experimental data [1–7] confirms the assumption made in [6] that the regularization of initial perturbations, which causes a higher degree of ordering and an increase in the life of vortices formed because of the development of instability waves or interaction of acoustic oscillations with the edge of the nozzle, is one of the mechanisms by which acoustics influences various shear flows. Studies have been made of concentrated (up to 60%) diatomite suspensions in transformer oil, the structure and theological properties of which depend on an applied electric field. Studies have been conducted of steady-state and transient regimes of straining involving continuous and periodic shear. The structure in such suspensions is formed in the presence of an electric field of 10–3 –102 duration. The suspensions under continuous stationary strain behave as non-Newtonian fluids with a yield stress dependent on electric intensity. Under periodic deformation conditions the test suspensions exhibit elasticity which abruptly diminishes with increasing deformation amplitude.  相似文献

This paper examines the structure of the near-gasdynamic section of a jet discharging into a rarefied volume. The experimental part of the article deals with unsteady discharge of a high-temperature gas. Discharge from a slot and from a circular aperture is investigated for air, nitrogen, CO2, and argon with nonuniformities from 20–200. Approximate relations are obtained to describe the motion of the front of a discharging substance in dimensionless coordinates and the associated perturbation along the flow axis.
