 B3LYP calculations in conjunction with natural bond orbital population analysis have been performed for a previtamin D model and corresponding transition structures for the [1,7]-hydrogen migration. In addition the 19,19-difluoro, 19-methoxy and 19-fluoro substituted analogs were investigated. The calculated activation barriers decrease in the following order: CHF2>CH3>CH2OCH3 (24.8, 23.5 and 20.1 kcal/mol). This is in qualitative agreement with experiments. It has been suggested that a decrease of the barrier by a 19-methoxy substituent and its increase by a 19,19-difluoro substituent are phenomena of different origin. In the case of 19-methoxy substitution, the effect is due to the charge redistribution in the triene system and the decrease of the C(19)–H bond energy. The effect of two fluorine substituents at C-19 on the activation barrier is suggested to originate from the combination and balance of several factors: electrostatic repulsion between the negative fluorine atom and the π-electron cloud over the conjugated system, an increase of the HOMO–LUMO gap, and geminal difluoro substitution affecting C–F and C–C bond energies. Activation parameters of the interconversion of geometric isomers6a and6b were determined by a complete lineshape analysis of the temperature-dependent13C NMR spectra of 7,8-dipropyl-7-borabicyclo[4.2.2]deca-2,4,9-triene (6). For the reaction6a 6b, G 298 = 52.2±0.1 kJ mol–1, H = 27.9±0.5 kJ mol–1, S = –82±8 J mol–1 K–1; For the reaction6b 6a, G 298 = 52.6±0.1 kJ mol–1, H = 24.7±0.5 kJ mol–1, S = –93±10 J mol–1 K–1. The geometric and kinetic isotope effects (GIE and KIE) for thermal [1,5]-sigmatropic H and D shifts of (Z)-1,3-pentadiene were studied by including the direct quantum effect of the migrating H or D nucleus in the multi-component molecular orbital-Hartree-Fock (MC_MO-HF) method. Based on the results, the C(1)-D bond lengths are 0.007 Angstrom shorter than the C1-H bond lengths in both the reactant (A) and the transition states (TS), whereas other bond lengths resemble those between H and D. The ratio of the rate constant (k(H)/k(D)) of the reaction for the thermal [1,5]-H and D shifts determined using the MC_MO-HF method (8.28) is closer to the experimental value (12.2) than that determined using either the conventional restricted Hartree-Fock (4.10) or restricted M?ller-Plesset second-order perturbation (3.79) methods.  相似文献

N-Alkyl-N′-[5-(alkylamino)-3-alkylimidazo[5,4-d] [1,3]thiazin-7(3H)-ylidene]thioureas were obtained by the reaction of 1-substituted 5-amino-4-cyanoimidazoles with alkyl isothiocyanates. The structure of this heterocyclic system was confirmed by single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis.  相似文献

2D 1H-1H EXSY NMR spectroscopy show that the free energy of activation ΔG in six 3-allyl-3-borabicyclo[3.3.1]nonane derivatives is significantly higher (72–86 kJ mol?1) than that in typical allylboranes (48–66 kJ mol?1). For the first member of the series, viz., 3-allyl-3-borabicyclo[3.3.1]nonane, the activation parameters of the permanent allylic rearrangement were also determined (ΔH = 82.7±3.4 kJ mol?1, ΔS = ?11.8±10.3 J mol?1 K?1, E A = 85.5±3.4 kJ mol?1, lnA = 29.2±1.2).  相似文献

Structural Modifications of Vitamin D3. Synthesis and Properties of the SO2-Adducts with (5 Z )- and (5 E )-Vitamin D3 Treatment of (5Z)- and (5E)-vitamin D3 ( 4 ) with sulfur dioxide yields each quantitatively the cyclic sulfones 1a and 1b . Thermally induced elimination of sulfur dioxide leads to either isotachysterol3 ( 3 ) alone or mixtures of isotachysterol3 ( 3 ) and isovitamin D3 ( 2 ). On the other hand the extrusion of SO2 can be brought about by means of KOH/CH3OH or on an alumina surface affording (5E)-vitamin D3 ( 4 ).
