In this paper we consider the initial boundary value problem of Cahn-Hilliard equation with concentration dependent mobility and gradient dependent potential. By the L~P type estimates and the theory of Morrey spaces,we prove the Holder continuity of the solutions.Then we obtain the existence of global classical solutions.The present work can be viewed as an extension to the previous work on the Cahn-Hilliard equation with concentration dependent mobility and potential.  相似文献

In this paper, we study the existence of weak solutions for the convective Cahn-Hilliard equation with degenerate mobility. Based on the Schauder type estimates, we establish the global existence of classical solutions for regularized problems. After establishing some necessary uniform estimates on the approximate solutions, we prove the existence of weak solutions. The nonnegativity and the finite speed of propagation of perturbations of solutions are also discussed.  相似文献

We investigate the effect of cut-off logistic source on evolutionary dynamics of a generalized Cahn-Hilliard (CH) equation in this paper. It is a well-known fact that the maximum principle does not hold for the CH equation. Therefore, a generalized CH equation with logistic source may cause the negative concentration blow-up problem in finite time. To overcome this drawback, we propose the cut-off logistic source such that only the positive value greater than a given critical concentration can grow. We consider the temporal profiles of numerical results in the one-, two-, and three-dimensional spaces to examine the effect of extra mass source. Numerical solutions are obtained using a finite difference multigrid solver. Moreover, we perform numerical tests for tumor growth simulation, which is a typical application of generalized CH equations in biology. We apply the proposed cut-off logistic source term and have good results.  相似文献

In this paper we prove that the finite time blow-up phenomenon might not occur for the Cahn-Hilliard equation with non-constant mobility and cubic nonlinearity, which is quite different from the case of constant mobility. We deal with asymptotic speed of wave propagation for a discrete reactlon-diffusion equation. We find the minimal wave speed c★ from the characteristic equation and show that c★ is just the asymptotic speed of wave propagation. The isotropic property and the existence of solution of the initial value problem for the given equation are also discussed.  相似文献

We consider the Cahn-Hilliard equation on a manifold with conical singularities. We first show the existence of bounded imaginary powers for suitable closed extensions of the bilaplacian. Combining results and methods from singular analysis with a theorem of Clément and Li we then prove the short time solvability of the Cahn-Hilliard equation in Lp-Mellin-Sobolev spaces and obtain the asymptotics of the solution near the conical points. We deduce, in particular, that regularity is preserved on the smooth part of the manifold and singularities remain confined to the conical points. We finally show how the Allen-Cahn equation can be treated by simpler considerations. Again we obtain short time solvability and the behavior near the conical points.  相似文献

In this paper, an explicit fully discrete three-level pseudo-spectral scheme with almost unconditional stability for the Cahn-Hilliard equation is proposed. Stability and convergence of the scheme are proved by Sobolev's inequalities and the bounded extensive method of the nonlinear function (B.N. Lu (1995)). The scheme possesses the almost same stable condition and convergent accuracy as the Creak-Nicloson scheme but it is an explicit scheme. Thus the iterative method to solve nonlinear algebraic system is avoided. Moreover, the linear stability of the critical point $u_0$ is investigated and the linear dispersive relation is obtained. Finally, the numerical results are supplied, which check the theoretical results.  相似文献

We present a multigrid finite element method for the deep quench obstacle Cahn-Hilliard equation. The non-smooth nature of this highly nonlinear fourth order partial differential equation make this problem particularly challenging. The method exhibits mesh-independent convergence properties in practice for arbitrary time step sizes. In addition, numerical evidence shows that this behaviour extends to small values of the interfacial parameter γ. Several numerical examples are given, including comparisons with existing alternative solution methods for the Cahn-Hilliard equation.  相似文献
