Quantum automata are mathematical models for quantum computing. We analyze the existing quantum pushdown automata, propose a q quantum pushdown automata (qQPDA), and partially clarify their connections. We emphasize some advantages of our qQPDA over others. We demonstrate the equivalence between qQPDA and another QPDA. We indicate that qQPDA are at least as powerful as the QPDA of Moore and Crutchfield with accepting words by empty stack. We introduce the quantum languages accepted by qQPDA and prove that every -q quantum context-free language is also an -q quantum context-free language for any (0, 1) and (0, 1).  相似文献

For angles and it is possible to consider only the coherent scattering and to use (5), (11), and (12). For angles >gh and scattering >z, the contribution from coherent and incoherent scattering can be comparable. The dependence of the coefficients of the Petch equation = 0 + + kd-1/2 on the degree of long-range order and deformation has been investigated. It is found that work hardening within a grain (d0/d) is greater in the ordered state, while that at the grain boundaries (dk/d) is greater in the disordered state. The hardening coefficient at stage II, ®II, is almost independent of the degree of ordering , and the stress at the beginning of stage III decreases considerably with reduction of . The nature of the maximum of the flow stress for the ordered alloy has been analyzed in detail for 0 < < 1. The contribution of certain mechanisms which may cause the appearance of this maximum to the flow stress has been estimated. It is concluded that a definitive solution of this problem is not possible at the present time.  相似文献

The perturbed-angular correlation (PAC) method has been applied to investigate the sites occupied by isolated77Br-atoms on silicon surfaces. The nuclear quadrupole interaction was used to determine the electric field gradients (efg) acting at the 5/2 state in77Se, populated in the77Br decay. For the Si(100)2×1 surface two different field gradients have been observed with the parameters Q1 = 583(5) MHz, 1 = 0.0(1) and Q2=543(5) MHz, 2 = 0.40(3). Typical values for the Si(111)7×7 surface from preliminary data are Q=548(9) MHz,=0.54(6). These electric field gradients are identified with adsorption sites of the selenium at dangling bonds of the silicon surfaces.  相似文献

The eight-vertex model is equivalent to a solid-on-solid (SOS) model, in which an integer heightl i is associated with each sitei of the square lattice. The Boltzmann weights of the model are expressed in terms of elliptic functions of period 2K, and involve a variable parameter . Here we begin by showing that the hard hexagon model is a special case of this eight-vertex SOS model, in which =K/5 and the heights are restricted to the range 1l i4. We remark that the calculation of the sublattice densities of the hard hexagon model involves the Rogers-Ramanujan and related identities. We then go on to consider a more general eight-vertex SOS model, with =K/r (r an integer) and 1l ir–1. We evaluate the local height probabilities (which are the analogs of the sublattice densities) of this model, and are automatically led to generalizations of the Rogers-Ramanujan and similar identities. In this paper, A novel wavelength divison multiplexing (WDM) nets is proposed by use of cascaded second-order nonlinearities ((2):(2)) in the D-fiber grating after periodically thermal/electric-field poling, and is theoretically analyzed for the first time. The coupled mode equations of the (2):(2) nonlinearities are derived, and the analytic expressions for the electric-field amplitude of converted light wave and the conversion efficiency are obtained under the small signal approximation, which are well consistent with numerical calculations. Both analytic expressions and numerical results show that, under the phase matching, is proportional to the logarithm of the square of pump light power, and the 4th power of the grating length L and the second-order nonlinearity d. The calculated results also show that and of this fiber grating can be reached over -17dB and 120nm, respectively. With the increase of L, increases rapidly while decreases quickly. The results of simulated calculations and theoretical analysis show that the cascaded (2):(2) process is different from quasi-phases-matched difference-frequency generation.  相似文献

By mapping the triangular antiferromagnet, the Villain model and the Union-Jack model on the quantumXY-chain we show a simple way to obtain the exponent =1/2 for the decay of the spin-correlation function at the frustration points of these models. The Transit Time Effect of a Modulated Electron Beam   总被引:3,自引:0,他引:3  
Energy change of an electron beam is studied numerically when it transits a rf field gap of width L. For a premodulated beam, the transit time L/0> for maximum energy extraction is shortened to 0.475 T (T=2/, 0> is the average velocity of the electrons) when the modulation frequency m is matched to the rf field frequency . Enhancement of the extraction efficiency o is dependent on the modulation coefficient h1 and h2. For a uniform beam with V=500 kV, o is less than 2%. o reaches 11% for a prebunched beam with h1=0.7 and h2=0.1 and will surpass 20% for an ideally modulated beam.  相似文献

We determined the199mHg nuclear quadrupole interaction (NQI) by time differential perturbed angular correlation in the following ferrocenethiol complexes with mercury: ferrocenethiol (v Q =1253(4) MHz, =0); 1,1-ferrocenedithiol (47%v Q =1555(8) MHz, =0.13(2); 25%v Q =726(19) MHz, =0.81(2); rest unspecific); 2-ferrocenyl-ethanethiol (v Q =1306(6) MHz, =0.17(1)); and a 1, 1-bis (2-mercapto-propylthio)ferrocene oligomer (v Q =1411(5), =0). All NQIs are rather large with small asymmetry parameters, indicating essentially linear S-Hg-S bonds. The only exception is the minority fraction in 1,2-ferrocenedithiol which suggests the formation of a 1,3-dithia-2-mercura[3]ferrocenophane.  相似文献

Inelastic electron scattering at a neon atom in the presence of an external electric field is considered. The distortion factors of the cross section M (F) are calculated for a series of 4d and 5d levels. It is shown that the distortion factor in strong fields is a nonlinear and nonmonotonic function of the field. The distortion factors and transition probabilitiesA , are compared. Calculations are presented for the integral cross-sections ofN N, N N incorporating the one-particle intermediate state, theS11N * resonance; cross-sections are given for kinetic energies of the meson from 0 to 200 MeV for various values of the width of the resonance. We calculate rigorously the two-point correlation function in the 2-d Ising model on a quasi-cylindrical lattice at the critical temperatureT c .The scaling predictions for the surface critical exponents = 5/8, = 1 are confirmed and the change from surface to bulk behavior is studied. The first observation of the amplified spontaneous emission (ASE) from the RydbergC 1 +( = 0) state of CO is reported. When theC 1 +( = 0) state was populated through the two-photon excitation, infrared radiation near 2.0 m was ejected in forward as well as backward directions along the laser propagation. The assignment as theC 1 +( = 0) B 1 +( = 0) transition was confirmed. Phase transitions are studied in a system consisting of reorientating and migrating point defects in a two dimensional lattice. Due to the long range (r –2) nature of the dominant elastic interaction, surface effects are of central importance and have to be included. After diagonalizing the elastic interaction energy for defects characterized by arbitrary elastic dipole tensors the free energy of the system is minimized with respect to the tensor defect density (which describes the defect distribution in space and over a discrete number of orientations). Different types of phase transitions are obtained depending on the magnitude of the defect anisotropy. The phase below the paraelastic one is characterized for large by an anisotropic but homogeneous distribution, for small by an anisotropic and inhomogeneous distribution with a non linear space dependence. Similarities and differences with 3d results for=0 (or small) are discussed.  相似文献

The main part of the paper develops a theoryof quantum automata and their slightly moregeneral versions, q-automata. Quantum languages and-quantum languages, 0 < 1, arestudied. A method is given for reducing the size of thestate space. Functions that can be realized as probabilitymaps for q-automata are characterized. Quantum gates arediscussed. We show that a static one-dimensional U(1) global string is confined by its own gravitational field to a finite radius. The energy-momentum tensor of a global string decreases exponentially with the distance from its core. We call it self-localization. We show that the order parameter is a decreasing function of the symmetry breaking energy scale. We have found the maximum value of the energy scale max, where the order parameter vanishes. Beyond the maximum value > max the gravitational field of a global string gets so strong, that it restores the initial unbroken symmetry. In the close vicinity of the maximum value max of the symmetry breaking scale we get a closed-form solution for the metric. It reduces to the Galileo metric on the axis and transforms into the Kasner-type solution near the boundary of a string.  相似文献

The anharmonic potential felt by a single-species ions confined in a rf quadrupole trap which results from a non-ideal trap configuration and the charge distribution of the ion cloud is studied. The rf resonance-absorption spectra are explained by a Duffing oscillator and a representation of the line-shape parameter is derived. For > 0.77, the electric signals will exhibit hysteresis. The spectral distribution of optical sum-frequency generation (SFG) by incoherent non-linear mixing of two chaotic beams with identical spectral width is calculated theoretically in the first approximation of the iterative method including dispersion of the non-linear medium and the difference between the group velocity of the input beams. It is shown that for the same group velocities (=0) of the input beams in non-linear medium the resultant field has a spectral width narrower than , and if a phase mismatch is present the spectral maximum of the resultant field is shifted towards lower or higher frequencies according to the sign of the phase mismatch. If the input beams have different group velocities (0) in the non-linear medium, then the spectral distribution of SFG is strongly dependent on . For small the spectral distribution of SFG is the same irrespective of . For large the difference in group velocities broadens the spectrum of SFG and for very large differences in group velocity the SFG has a spectral width identical to that of the input beams.  相似文献
