We have measured the transmission and emission spectra of a new crystal, Nd : NaY(WO4)2 (Nd : NYW). Using a Ti : sapphire laser as the pump source, the laser performances of Nd : NYW crystals with different concentrations are compared for the first time. The Nd3+ concentrations used are 1, 2, 4 and 5 at%. Our investigation shows that 2 at% is the optimum concentration. When the incident pump power is 575 mW, the 1.06 μm output can reach 184 mW, corresponding to an optical-to-optical efficiency of 32%. We believe that our work is significant for the further research and actual application of this promising laser crystal.  相似文献

研究了Na5Tb(WO4)4单晶的高压发光规律,化学计量的Na5Tb(WO4)4基质发光单晶的发光来源于基质中高浓度Tb3+.用金刚石对顶砧显微光谱系统在0-4GPa范围内研究了Na5Tb(WO4)4的室温高压光谱,确定了各发射谱线的高压移动率.对Tb3+的5D4→7Fj(j=0,1,2,3,4,5),测到18条谱线高压移动率中除一条(5D4→7F2,常压峰值15509cm-1)蓝移外,都红移,红移率最大为-19.5cm-1/GPa(对应谱线5D4→7F4,常压峰值16876cm-1),与Tb3+在其它基质中相比,此移动率很大.  相似文献

采用熔盐法从K2 WO4助熔剂体系生长出尺寸为 4 5mm的Nd3 :Er3 :KY(WO4) 2 透明晶体。从晶体中切割出Ф3× 11 9mm的激光器件 ,测量了晶体的紫外 -近红外的吸收光谱 ,从吸收光谱图上可以看到 ,晶体存在着 974 88nm ;80 1 0 (798 12 ,80 3 95 )nm ;74 8 5 (75 3 5 ,74 3 4 9)nm ;6 5 3 6 1nm ;5 86 6 5nm ;5 18 6(5 4 5 0 3,5 2 1 32 ,4 89 35 )nm ;4 5 2 80nm ;4 0 7 81nm ;36 7 2 2 (377 2 4 ,36 6 4 ,35 8 0 2 )nm九个吸收峰带 ,对各个吸收峰带按照Er3 和Nd3 离子的能级跃迁进行了归属。同时采用Edinburgh InstrumentF92 0荧光光谱仪在室温下对晶体进行了荧光测试研究。研究结果表明 ,共掺Nd3 离子可以增强Er3 :KY(WO4) 2 对半导体激光器泵浦源 (80 0nm)的吸收。  相似文献

采用提拉法生长出了掺钕钨酸铋钠[Nd∶NaBi(WO4)2,简称Nd∶NBW]和掺钕钨酸钇钠[Nd∶NaY(WO4)2,简称Nd∶NYW]晶体,并给出了制备无开裂优质Nd∶NBW和Nd∶NYW晶体的最佳生长工艺参数。从XRD分析得到Nd∶NBW和Nd∶NYW晶体的晶胞参数,并分析了晶体的拉曼光谱,认为二者结构基本相同,为四方晶系、白钨矿结构、I41/a空间群。由吸收光谱可以看出,Nd∶NBW在802nm有较强的吸收峰,Nd∶NYW在804nm、752nm、586nm附近有较强、较宽的吸收峰,二者均适合于LD泵浦;计算了晶体中Nd3+的吸收截面积。  相似文献

Cr4+:YAG is a new saturable absorber for passive Q-switching. As a passive Q-switcher, it has several excellent properties, such as low saturation fluence, high damage threshold, good thermal conductivity, no degradation and so on. By using a laser-diode as pumping source and Cr4+ :YAG as passive Q switcher, the passive Q-switching run in Nd: Sr5(VO4)3F laser at 1. 065 μm is realized. The average output power, the single pulse energy, the pulse width and the repetition rate for different small-signal transmission of Cr4+:YAG and different pumping power were measured. Meanwhile, the coupling rate equations for Cr4+:YAG as passive Q-switcher were given and the experimental results agreed with the numerical solution of equations.  相似文献

通过研究分析钨酸盐晶体Nd∶KY(WO4)2和Nd∶KG(WO4)2在室温下的吸收光谱,发现这2种晶体具有作为激光晶体的优良特性。根据Judd-Ofelt理论和测试所得的吸收光谱及数据,用VC++编程计算出晶体的谱线强度、振子强度、吸收截面等,拟合得Nd3+离子的3个晶场调节参数Ωλ(λ=2,4,6)的值,并从理论上计算了自发跃迁几率、能级寿命、荧光分支比和积分发射截面。从计算得出的荧光分支比β可以看出,Nd∶KY(WO4)21060nm=0.4380)和Nd∶KG(WO4)21060nm=0.4618)晶体荧光分支比都较大,计算了该晶体的X=Ω46,并将其X值与其他晶体的X值加以比较,Nd∶KY(WO4)2和Nd∶KG(WO4)2均易于实现1.06μm激光输出,适合作为LD泵浦的钨酸盐晶体激光器。  相似文献

The effect of melt pretreatment of Ce~(3 ): YAP and (Ce~(3 ) Nd~(3 )): YAP and their growth ambient gases on the quality of the crystals are described. Firstly, a superheating pretreatment of YAP melt is adopted in a nitrogen atmosphere containing a little oxygen to eliminate carbon; then the YAP melt is superheated in a reduction atmosphere to fully reduce Ce~(4 ) ions into Ce~(3 ) ions in the melt. Finally, in a growth atmosphere of pure nitrogen, high quality Ce~(3 ): YAP and (Ce~(3 ) Nd~(3 )): YAP single crystals with high Ce~(3 ) concentration with only few light scattering centers were grown.  相似文献

Amplification of spontaneous emission(ASE) in 4m Nd~(3 )-doped fiber pumped by Ti : Al~2O_3 tunable laser is studied theoretically and experimentally. It is investigated the properties of a diode-pumped Nd: Sr5 ( PO4 )3F laser that is passively Q-switched by a thin, single crystal GaAs wafer. The short high-peak-power pulses of the laser have been obtained. The pulse energies, pulse widths and pulse repetition rates for different conditions have been measured and the experimental results show that GaAs is an excellent passive Q-switch of the diode-pumped Nd: Sr5(PO4)3F lasers.  相似文献
