数值研究了平板方舵激波-湍流边界层干扰流场。模拟出了分离激波与弓型激波砬撞后形成的“λ”激波结构;消晰地显示了分离区中的旋涡结构,发现流场中会出现二次分离涡,并从理论上分析了流场对称面涡心形态与非定常的关系,得到了涡心为不稳定螺旋点或出现极限环是非定常流动特征的新结论。  相似文献

The dominant thermal resistance for most compact heat exchangers occurs on the gas side and as such an understanding of the gas side flowfield is needed before improving current designs. Louvered fins are commonly used in many compact heat exchangers to increase the surface area and initiate new boundary layer growth. For this study, detailed flowfield measurements were made in the entry region of several louvered fin geometries whereby the louver angle, ratio of fin pitch to louver pitch, and Reynolds number were all varied. In addition to mean velocity measurements, time-resolved velocity measurements were made to quantify unsteady effects.

The results indicated larger fin pitches resulted in lower average flow angles in the louver passages and longer development lengths. Larger louver angles with a constant ratio of fin pitch to louver pitch resulted in higher average flow angles and shorter development lengths. As the Reynolds number increased, longer development lengths were required and higher average flow angles occurred as compared with a lower Reynolds number case. Time-resolved velocity measurements indicated some flow periodicity behind the fully developed louver for a range of Reynolds numbers. The Strouhal number of these fluctuations was constant for a given louver geometry, but the value increased with increasing fin pitch.  相似文献

本文利用无波动、无自由参数、耗散的差分格式(NND格式),通过求解NS方程,数值模拟了高超声速层流尾迹的流动,清晰地给出了主激波、拐角膨胀波、迹激波及自由剪切层,所得流场物理量的分布与实验结果甚为一致。计算发现了底部迴流区由起始向定常的发展中,在瞬时流线图上经历了极限环形成、胀大、缩小、再胀大最后消失的演变过程。  相似文献

喷流干扰是高超声速飞行高精度控制的一种有效手段,研究者们以往大部分都主要集中于连续流条件下喷流干扰效应的机理研究,并给出了喷流干扰流场的典型结构,而稀薄流条件下喷流干扰特性的实验数据还十分匮乏.本文利用JFX爆轰激波风洞产生高超声速稀薄自由流,基于平板模型开展不同喷流压力和自由来流参数对横向喷流干扰特性影响的实验研究,采用高速纹影成像及图像处理技术,获得稀薄流条件下喷流干扰流场演化过程及流场结构的变化规律.相比于无喷流条件形成的流场,横向喷流与稀薄自由流相互作用形成的流场结构更为复杂,喷流压力由于受到稀薄来流的扰动,斜激波会短暂穿透喷流干扰流场并延伸至楔形体上部.喷流干扰流场内桶状激波的影响范围随着喷流压力的升高而逐渐变宽,位于三波点上游的斜激波空间位置不会随喷流压力的变化而改变,而位于三波点下游的弓形激波则向上游移动,当喷流压力过低时,桶状激波不会与其他两种激波交汇形成三波点.高超声速稀薄来流压力的降低同样会使桶状激波的影响范围变宽,弓形激波同样也会向上游移动,但基本不会对斜激波空间位置产生任何影响.  相似文献

A quantitative thermometry technique, based on planar laser-induced fluorescence (PLIF), was applied to image temperature fields immediately next to walls in shock tube flows. Two types of near-wall flows were considered: the side wall thermal boundary layer behind an incident shock wave, and the end wall thermal layer behind a reflected shock wave. These thin layers are imaged with high spatial resolution (15μm/pixel) in conjunction with fused silica walls and near-UV bandpass filters to accurately measure fluorescence signal levels with minimal interferences from scatter and reflection at the wall surface. Nitrogen, hydrogen or argon gas were premixed with 1–12% toluene, the LIF tracer, and tested under various shock flow conditions. The measured pressures and temperatures ranged between 0.01 and 0.8 bar and 293 and 600 K, respectively. Temperature field measurements were found to be in good agreement with theoretical values calculated using 2-D laminar boundary layer and 1-D heat diffusion equations, respectively. In addition, PLIF images were taken at various time delays behind incident and reflected shock waves to observe the development of the side wall and end wall layers, respectively. The demonstrated diagnostic strategy can be used to accurately measure temperature to about 60 μm from the wall.  相似文献

The internal flowfield including shock reflections structure inside a 2-D half inlet model was examined by a double exposure holographic interferometry using a Q-switched pulse laser. The interferograms give detailed flow visualization pictures. The structures of regular reflection, lambda reflection and Mach reflection in the inlet channel were observed. From the analysis of fringe patterns, the quantitative distributions of flow density, pressure and Mach number of the internal flowfield have been reconstructed. The boundary layer thickening and separation in the case of lambda reflection and the Mach stem in the case of Mach reflection were clearly demonstrated in the holographic fringe patterns. The results show that the shock interacitons with the ramp and the wall introduce a complicated flow structure which could strongly affect the efficiency of the inlet.This article was processed using Springer-Verlag TEX Shock Waves macro package 1.0 and the AMS fonts, developed by the American Mathematical Society.  相似文献

An experimental study was conducted on shock wave turbulent boundary layer interactions caused by a blunt swept fin-plate configuration at Mach numbers of 5.0, 7.8, 9.9 for a Reynolds number range of (1.0∼4.7)×107/m. Detailed heat transfer and pressure distributions were measured at fin deflection angles of up to 30° for a sweepback angle of 67.6°. Surface oil flow patterns and liquid crystal thermograms as well as schlieren pictures of fin shock shape were taken. The study shows that the flow was separated at deflection of 10° and secondary separation were detected at deflection of ϑ≥20°. The heat transfer and pressure distributions on flat plate showed an extensive plateau region followed by a distinct dip and local peak close to the fin foot. Measurements of the plateau pressure and heat transfer were in good agreement with existing prediction methods, but pressure and heating peak measurements atM≥6 were significantly lower than predicted by the simple prediction techniques at lower Mach numbers. By using Lagrangian method, the flow properties of a dusty-gas point source in a supersonic free stream were studied and the particle parameters in the near-symmetry-axis region were obtained . It is demonstrated that fairly inertial particles travel along oscillating and intersecting trajectories between the bow and termination shock waves . In this region, formation of " mufti- layer structure" in panicle distribution with alternating low- and high density layers is revealed. Moreover, sharp accumulation of particles occurs near the envelopes of particle trajectories .  相似文献

主要进行了超燃冲压发动机三面压缩进气道的实验观测。利用来流马赫数4.5的直通式激波风洞,考察了三组具有不同压缩角度的进气道模型内部的流场情况。实验观测手段为油流法、丝线法和高速纹影,同时,辅以数值模拟以有助于流场细节分析。纹影照片展示了进气道内部以激波边界层相互作用为主要影响因素的流场复杂结构,数值模拟也显示了相近的结果。油流技术与丝线法显示了近壁面处的流动图像,照片中可见激波、分离线、再附线等分界线位置。根据实验结果,可以推测唇口激波与进气道内边界层的相互作用及其引起的壁面分离是影响进气道内流动的主要因素。同时,尝试了利用抽吸方法减弱激波与边界层相互作用诱发的壁面流动分离,并取得一定结果。  相似文献

 Some novel, non-intrusive, high-frequency, localized optical measurements of turbulence in compressible flows are described. The technique is based upon focusing schlieren optics coupled with high-speed quantitative measurement of light intensity fluctuations in the schlieren image. Measurements of density gradient fluctuations confined to a thin slice of the flowfield are thus obtained. The new instrument was used to investigate the structure of a two-dimensional, adiabatic, wind tunnel wall boundary layer at a Mach number of 3. The measurements were compared to data obtained using hot-wire anemometry and good agreement was found between the two. Distributions of broadband convection velocity of large-scale structures through the boundary later were also measured. In marked contrast to earlier results, it is shown here that the convection velocity is essentially identical to the local mean velocity. Further, results obtained using the VITA conditional sampling technique shed new light on the turbulent boundary layer structure. Particle image velocimetry (PIV) measurements and planar laser induced fluorescence (PLIF) visualizations have been made in a turbulent boundary layer over a rough wall. The wall roughness consisted of square bars placed transversely to the flow at a pitch to height ratio of λ/k = 11 for the PLIF experiments and λ/k = 8 and 16 for the PIV measurements. The ratio between the boundary layer thickness and the roughness height k/δ was about 20 for the PLIF and 38 for the PIV. Both the PLIF and PIV data showed that the near-wall region of the flow was populated by unstable quasi-coherent structures which could be associated to shear layers originating at the trailing edge of the roughness elements. The streamwise mean velocity profile presented a downward shift which varied marginally between the two cases of λ/k, in agreement with previous measurements and DNS results. The data indicated that the Reynolds stresses normalized by the wall units are higher for the case λ/k = 16 than those for λ/k = 8 in the outer region of the flow, suggesting that the roughness density effects could be felt well beyond the near-wall region of the flow. As expected the roughness disturbed dramatically the sublayer which in turn altered the turbulence production mechanism. The turbulence production is maximum at a distance of about 0.5k above the roughness elements. When normalized by the wall units, the turbulence production is found to be smaller than that of a smooth wall. It is argued that the production of turbulence is correlated with the form drag.  相似文献

The flow around wing 445.6 was modelled using Navier–Stokes equations and S-A model. The wing vibration and flow mesh deformation were computed using a fast dynamic mesh technology proposed by our own group. Wing 445.6 flutter was analysed through a strong coupling between the wing vibration and flow. The reduced flutter velocity was predicted and results are in good agreement with the experimental data. It is found that the subsonic flutter is mainly induced by the flow separation and the transonic and supersonic flutter are mainly caused by the oscillating shock wave and its induced flow separation. The positive aerodynamic work increases due to the oscillating shock wave when the subsonic flow becomes transonic reducing the flutter velocity. While the positive aerodynamic work induced by the oscillating shock wave decreases when the transonic flow becomes supersonic increasing the flutter velocity. That is why the transonic dip exists.  相似文献

A calculation method has been developed and used to represent flows downstream of plane symmetric expansions with dimensions and velocities encompassing laminar and turbulent flows. Except for very low Reynolds numbers, the flows are time‐dependent and asymmetric and the calculated results are appraised first in relation to published measurements of laminar flows and then to new measurements obtained at a Reynolds number of 26 500. The time‐dependent laminar simulations indicate that the critical Reynolds numbers are predicted with excellent accuracy for different expansion ratios and the details of the asymmetric velocity profiles are in good agreement with experimental measurements. The laminar flow calculations also show that increasing the thickness of the separating boundary layer leads to longer regions of separation and no dominant frequency for Reynolds numbers up to those at which the third separation region was observed. The turbulent flow simulations made use of the k–ε turbulence model and provided a satisfactory representation of measurements, except in regions close to the wall and within the recirculation regions. Also, the longer reattachment length was underestimated. Limitations are discussed in relation to these and higher‐order assumptions. Copyright © 2000 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

The paper presents a study of heat transfer between the turbulent airflow and the inner wall surface of an axial diffuser rotating around its longitudinal axis. Heat transfer was assessed through the measurement of a time-dependent temperature field of the diffuser inner wall surface. Measurements of the instantaneous flow velocity components were performed by a laser–Doppler anemometry system, which delivered information on mean velocity components as well as on the turbulence intensity. A significant increase of all three mean velocity components was observed near the rotating diffuser wall in comparison with a non-rotating diffuser. Temperature field measurements were carried out by means of infrared thermography. The experiment showed a significant dependence of the temperature field on the turbulent flowfield induced by diffuser rotation. A strong influence of the flow separation and reattachment on the temperature distribution was observed, while rotation was found to suppress the occurrence of flow separation from the diffuser wall. Properties of the velocity field such as turbulent kinetic energy were directly coupled with the temperature distribution in order to gain the information on how to enhance or reduce heat transfer by changing the integral parameters of the diffuser (e.g. rotation frequency or amount of flow).  相似文献

An aerospike attached to a blunt body significantly alters its flowfield and influences aerodynamic drag at high speeds. The dynamic pressure in the recirculation area is highly reduced and this leads to the decrease in the aerodynamic drag. Consequently, the geometry of the aerospike has to be simulated in order to obtain a large conical recirculation region in front of the blunt body to get beneficial drag reduction. Axisymmetric compressible Navier–Stokes equations are solved using a finite volume discretization in conjunction with a multistage Runge–Kutta time stepping scheme. The effect of the various types of aerospike configurations on the reduction of aerodynamic drag is evaluated numerically at a length to diameter ratio of 0.5, at Mach 6 and at a zero angle of incidence. The computed density contours are showing satisfactory agreement with the schlieren pictures. The calculated pressure distribution on the blunt body compares well with the measured pressure data on the blunt body. Flowfield features such as formation of shock waves, separation region and reattachment point are examined for the flat-disc spike and on the hemispherical disc spike attached to the blunt body. One of the critical heating areas is at the stagnation point of a blunt body, where the incoming hypersonic flow is brought to rest by a normal shock and adiabatic compression. Therefore, the problem of computing the heat transfer rate near the stagnation point needs a solution of the entire flowfield from the shock to the spike body. The shock distance ahead of the hemisphere and the flat-disc is compared with the analytical solution and a good agreement is found between them. The influence of the shock wave generated from the spike is used to analyze the pressure distribution, the coefficient of skin friction and the wall heat flux facing the spike surface to the flow direction.  相似文献

The flow fields associated with the interaction of a normal shock wave with a plane wall kept at a constant temperature were studied based on kinetic theory which can describe appropriately the shock structure and its reflection process. With the use of a difference scheme, the time developments of the distributions of the fluid dynamic quantities (velocity, temperature, pressure and number density of the gas) were obtained numerically from the BGK model of the Boltzmann equation subject to the condition of diffusive-reflection at the wall for several cases of incident Mach number:M 1=1.2, 1.5, 2.0, 3.0, 4.0, 5.0 and 6.0. The reflection process of the shocks is shown explicitly together with the resulting formation of the flow fields as time goes on. The nonzero uniform velocity toward the wall occurring between the viscous boundary layer and the reflected shock wave is found to be fairly large, the magnitude of which is of the order of several percent of the velocity induced behind the incident shock, decreasing as the incident Mach number increases. It is also seen that a region of positive velocity (away from the wall) within the viscous boundary layer manifests itself in the immediate vicinity of the wall, which is distinct for larger incident Mach numbers. Some of the calculated density profiles are compared with available experimental data and also with numerical results based on the Navier-Stokes equations. The agreement between the three results is fairly good except in the region close to the wall, where the difference in the conditions of these studies and the inappropriateness of the Navier-Stokes equations manifest themselves greatly in the gas behavior.This article was processed using Springer-Verlag TEX Shock Waves macro package 1990.  相似文献

An asymptotic theory of the interaction of a turbulent boundary layer on a plate with a normal shock wave of low intensity has been constructed in various studies [1–4] under the assumption that the averaged velocity of the particles in the boundary layer in front of the interaction region satisfies a logarithmic law. In the present paper a different approach to this problem is proposed based on a power law of the velocity in the undisturbed boundary layer. The obtained results give different estimates for not only the sizes of the characteristic flow regions in the interaction region but also for the shock intensity leading to boundary layer separation.  相似文献

Numerical modeling of the receptivity of a two-dimensional flat-plate boundary layer to entropy disturbances is carried out at the freestream Mach number M = 6. Low-intensity perturbations considered are in the form of temperature spots of various shapes and with different initial positions downstream of the shock. They are shown to be able to generate unstable disturbances in the boundary layer. This receptivity mechanism is relatively weak as compared with the receptivity to acoustic waves. When the entropy perturbations are introduced upstream of the bow shock, they first pass across the shock. Downstream of the shock this interaction generates acoustic waves which, in turn, penetrate into the boundary layer thus exciting unstable disturbances of a considerably greater amplitude than the temperature spots. Thus, the bow shock can change the receptivity mechanism.  相似文献

Planar laser Rayleigh scattering (PLRS) from condensed CO2 particles is used to visualize flow structure in a Mach 5 wind tunnel undergoing unstart. Detailed flow features such as laminar/turbulent boundary layers and shockwaves are readily illustrated by the technique. A downstream transverse air jet, inducing flow unchoking downstream of the jet, is injected into the free stream flow of the tunnel, resulting in tunnel unstart. Time sequential PLRS images reveal that the boundary layer growth/separation on a surface with a thick turbulent boundary layer, initiated by the jet injection, propagates upstream and produces an oblique unstart shock. The tunnel unstarts upon the arrival of the shock at the inlet. In contrast, earlier flow separation on the opposite surface, initially supporting a thin laminar boundary layer, is observed when a jet induced bow shock strikes that surface. The resulting disturbance to this boundary layer also propagates upstream and precedes the formation of an unstart shock.  相似文献
