We study three-dimensional Lorentzian homogeneous Ricci solitons, proving the existence of shrinking, expanding and steady Ricci solitons. For all the non-trivial examples, the Ricci operator is not diagonalizable and has three equal eigenvalues.  相似文献

We classify, up to isometry, non-symmetric simply-connected four-dimensional pseudo-Riemannian generalized symmetric spaces which are algebraic Ricci solitons. It turns out that those of Cerny–Kowalski’s types A, C and D are algebraic Ricci solitons, whereas those of type B are not. Thus, we give new examples of algebraic Ricci solitons.  相似文献

In this paper we introduce the notion of generalized quasi-Einstein manifold that generalizes the concepts of Ricci soliton, Ricci almost soliton and quasi-Einstein manifolds. We prove that a complete generalized quasi-Einstein manifold with harmonic Weyl tensor and with zero radial Weyl curvature is locally a warped product with (n ? 1)-dimensional Einstein fibers. In particular, this implies a local characterization for locally conformally flat gradient Ricci almost solitons, similar to that proved for gradient Ricci solitons.  相似文献

In this paper, we study gradient solitons to the Ricci flow coupled with harmonic map heat flow. We derive new identities on solitons similar to those on gradient solitons of the Ricci flow. We show that a proper second-order symmetric spacetime, and four-dimensional Lorentzian plane wave manifolds admit different vector fields resulting in expanding, steady and shrinking Ricci and Yamabe solitons. In this paper we prove that any n-dimensional (n ≥ 4) complete Bach-flat gradient steady Ricci soliton with positive Ricci curvature is isometric to the Bryant soliton. We also show that a three-dimensional gradient steady Ricci soliton with divergence-free Bach tensor is either flat or isometric to the Bryant soliton. In particular, these results improve the corresponding classification theorems for complete locally conformally flat gradient steady Ricci solitons in Cao and Chen (Trans Am Math Soc 364:2377–2391, 2012) and Catino and Mantegazza (Ann Inst Fourier 61(4):1407–1435, 2011).  相似文献

We show that locally conformally flat gradient Ricci solitons, possibly incomplete, are locally isometric to a warped product of an interval and a space form. In the first part of the paper we derive integral curvature estimates for complete gradient shrinking Ricci solitons. Our results and the recent work in M. Fernandez-Lopez and E. Garcia-Rio, Rigidity of shrinking Ricci solitons in Math. Z. (2011) classify complete gradient shrinking Ricci solitons with harmonic Weyl tensor. In the second part of the paper we address the issue of existence of harmonic functions on gradient shrinking Kähler and gradient steady Ricci solitons. We show that three-dimensional homogeneous Ricci flow solutions that admit finite-volume quotients have long-time limits given by expanding solitons. We show that the same is true for a large class of four-dimensional homogeneous solutions. We give an extension of Hamilton’s compactness theorem that does not assume a lower injectivity radius bound, in terms of Riemannian groupoids. Using this, we show that the long-time behavior of type-III Ricci flow solutions is governed by the dynamics of an -action on a compact space. We analyse some properties of the cohomogeneity one Ricci soliton equations, and use Ansätze of cohomogeneity one to produce new explicit examples of complete Kähler Ricci solitons of expanding, steady and shrinking types. These solitons are foliated by hypersurfaces which are circle bundles over a product of Fano Kähler–Einstein manifolds or over coadjoint orbits of a compactly connected semisimple Lie group.  相似文献

The two-loop renormalization group flow is studied via the induced bracket flow on 3D unimodular Lie groups. A number of steady solitons are found. Some of these steady solitons come from maximally symmetric metrics that are steady, shrinking, or expanding solitons under Ricci flow, while others are not obviously related to Ricci flow solitons.  相似文献
