We derive analytic formulas that, on the basis of given harmonic functions, permit one to construct solutions of boundary value problems on a plane containing an infinitely thin three-layer film by simple quadratures with the preservation of singular points of the harmonic functions. The three-layer film consists of alternating strongly and weakly permeable layers and has the form of a ray, a segment, or a circle arc.  相似文献

Boundary value problems for Laplace’s equation are considered in a piecewise homogeneous plane divided into two zones by a strongly permeable crack or a weakly permeable screen in the form of a parabola. The desired potentials have prescribed singular points (sources, sinks, etc.). Formulas are derived expressing the potentials in terms of harmonic functions that have the given singular points and describe similar processes in a homogeneous plane.  相似文献

In the framework of the theory of harmonic functions, potentials of steady state processes (heat conduction, filtration, or electrostatics) in the piecewise inhomogeneous plane separated by a rectilinear strongly permeable crack or by a weakly permeable screen into two half-planes with quadratic permeability functions are constructed. The motion is induced by given singular points of the potential (sources, sinks, etc.). Compact formulas that directly express potentials in these domains in terms of harmonic functions are obtained; the resulting functions map the set of harmonic functions to the set of potentials conserving the type of singularities.  相似文献

Three-dimensional boundary value problems (the first and second boundary value problems and the conjugation problem) of stationary filtration of fluids in anisotropic (orthotropic) and inhomogeneous porous media are posed and studied. A medium is characterized by a symmetric permeability tensor whose components generally depend on the coordinates of points of the space. A nonsingular affine transformation of coordinates is used and the problems are stated in canonical form, which dramatically simplifies their study. In the case of orthotropic and piecewise orthotropic homogeneous medium, the solution of the problem with canonical boundaries (plane and ellipsoid surfaces) can be obtained in finite form. In the general case, where the orthotropic medium is inhomogeneous and the boundary surfaces are arbitrary and smooth, the problem can be reduced to singular and hypersingular integral equations. The problems are topical, for example, in the practice of fluid (water, oil) recovery from natural anisotropic and inhomogeneous soil strata.  相似文献

A piecewise-homogeneous elastic orthotropic plate, reinforced with a finite inclusion, which meets the interface at a right angle and is loaded with shear forces, is considered. The contact stresses along the contact line are determined, and the behaviour of the contact stresses in the neighbourhood of singular points is established. By using the methods of the theory of analytic functions, the problem is reduced to a singular integro-differential equation in a finite section. Using an integral transformation, a Riemann problem is obtained, the solution of which is presented in explicit form.  相似文献

We present new types of singular wave solutions with peaks in this paper. When a heteroclinic orbit connecting two saddle points intersects with the singular curve on the topological phase plane for a generalized KdV equation, it may be divided into segments. Different combinations of these segments may lead to different singular wave solutions, while at the intersection points, peaks on the waves can be observed. It is shown for the first time that there coexist different types of singular waves corresponding to one heteroclinic orbit.  相似文献

This paper deals with a partial differential equation by making use of the qualitative theory of differential equation. The main results are twofold. First, this work improves the previous result by analyzing the qualitative behavior of degenerate singular points. Second, new types of cusped solitons are obtained by setting the partial differential equation under inhomogeneous boundary condition. Asymptotic analysis and numerical simulations are provided for the cusped solitons of the equation.  相似文献

We consider the plane deformation of an infinite body with a cylindrical inclusion whose mechanical and thermophysical characteristics differ from those of the material of the body for a heat flow and tensile forces given far from the inclusion. Stress intensity factors in the vicinity of a crack located on the continuation of the diameter of the inclusion are determined by the solution of a singular integral equation using the method of mechanical quadratures. We investigate the ratio of the length of the crack to the distance between it and the inclusion at which the regular kernel of the integral equation can be neglected in calculations. In this case, analytic formulas for the determination of the stress intensity factors are obtained.  相似文献

We consider an inverse source problem for an inhomogeneous wave equation with discrete-in-time sources, modeling a seismic rupture. The inverse source problem, with an arbitrary source term on the right-hand side of the wave equation, is not uniquely solvable. Here we formulate conditions on the source term that allow us to show uniqueness and that provide a reasonable model for the application of interest. We assume that the source term is supported on a finite set of times and that the support in space moves with subsonic velocity. Moreover, we assume that the spatial part of the source is singular on a hypersurface, an application being a seismic rupture along a fault plane. Given data collected over time on a detection surface that encloses the spatial projection of the support of the source, we show how to recover the times and locations of sources microlocally and then reconstruct the smooth part of the source assuming that it is the same at each source location.  相似文献

The effects of parabola singular curves in the integrable nonlinear wave equation are studied by using the bifurcation theory of dynamical system. We find new singular periodic waves for a nonlinear wave equation from short capillary-gravity waves. The new periodic waves possess weaker singularity than the periodic peakon. It is shown that the second derivatives of the new singular periodic wave solutions do not exist in countable number of points but the first derivatives exist. We show that there exist close connection between the new singular periodic waves and parabola singular curve in phase plane of traveling wave system for the first time.  相似文献

The Lyapunov-Schmidt method for bifurcation problems has, until recently, been applied only to operator equations whose singular points are isolated in the solution set of the equation. For bifurcation at a multiple eigenvalue involving several parameters, however, singular points are often non-isolated. In this paper, the case of intersecting curves of singular points is considered. Under natural hypotheses on these curves, and assuming suitable transversality conditions on the first order nonlinearity of the operator, it is shown that the solution set of the equation may be completely determined locally in terms of the solutions of associated finite dimensional polynomial equations.  相似文献

Three-dimensional contact problems on the interaction of two similar punches on an elastic transversely isotropic half-space (five elastic constants) are investigated, when the isotropy planes are perpendicular to the boundary of the half-space. In this connection the stiffness of the half-space boundary depends on the direction. The kernel of the integral equation of the contact problems is represented in a quadrature-free form using the theory of generalized functions. This form of the kernel enables it to be regularized at singular points and enables Galanov's method to be used to solve the contact problem with an unknown contact area.  相似文献

The paper is concerned with the smoothness of the solutions to the volume singular integrodifferential equations for the electric field to which the problem of electromagnetic-wave diffraction by a local inhomogeneous bounded dielectric body is reduced. The basic tool of the study is the method of pseudo-differential operators in Sobolev spaces. The theory of elliptic boundary problems and field-matching problems is also applied. It is proven that, for smooth data of the problem, the solution from the space of square-summable functions is continuous up to the boundaries and smooth inside and outside of the body. The results on the smoothness of the solutions to the volume singular integro-differential equation for the electric field make it possible to resolve the issues on the equivalence of the boundary value problem and the equation.  相似文献

We consider boundary value problems for the equation ? x (K ? x ?) + KL[?] = 0 in the space R n with generalized transmission conditions of the type of a strongly permeable crack or a weakly permeable screen on the surface x = 0. (Here L is an arbitrary linear differential operator with respect to the variables y 1, …, y n?1.) The coefficients K(x) > 0 are monotone functions of certain classes in the regions separated by the screen x = 0. The desired solution has arbitrary given singular points and satisfies a sufficiently weak condition at infinity.We derive formulas expressing the solutions of the above-mentioned problems in the form of simple quadratures via the solutions of the considered equation with a constant coefficient K for given singular points in the absence of a crack or a screen. In particular, the obtained formulas permit one to solve boundary value problems with generalized transmission conditions for equations with functional piecewise continuous coefficients in the framework of the theory of harmonic functions.  相似文献

An interval arithmetic based branch-and-bound optimizer is applied to find the singular points and bifurcations in studying feasibility of batch extractive distillation. This kind of study is an important step in synthesizing economic industrial processes applied to separate liquid mixtures of azeotrope-forming chemical components. The feasibility check methodology includes computation and analysis of phase plots of differential algebraic equation systems (DAEs). Singular points and bifurcations play an essential role in judging feasibility. The feasible domain of parameters can be estimated by tracing the paths of the singular points in the phase plane; bifurcations indicate the border of this domain. Since the algebraic part of the DAE cannot be transformed to an explicit form, implicit function theorem is applied in formulating the criterion of bifurcation points. The singular points of the maps at specified process parameters are found with interval methodology. Limiting values of the parameters are determined by searching for points satisfying bifurcation criteria.  相似文献
