We study a system inverse to the nonlinear dynamical Benney-Kaup system. For this system, we prove the existence of an infinite hierarchy of functionally independent and involution conservation laws; a pair of implicative and Noetherian operators is constructed which enables one to write the system in a bi-Hamiltonian form; we also present the explicit form of the Lax operator.Translated from Ukrainskii Matematicheskii Zhurnal, Vol. 45 No. 3, pp. 353–360, March, 1993.  相似文献

Positive and negative hierarchies of nonlinear integrable lattice models are derived from a discrete spectral problem. The two lattice hierarchies are proved to have discrete zero curvature representations associated with a discrete spectral problem, which also shows that the positive and negative hierarchies correspond to positive and negative power expansions of Lax operators with respect to the spectral parameter, respectively. Moreover, the integrable lattice models in the positive hierarchy are of polynomial type, and the integrable lattice models in the negative hierarchy are of rational type. Further, we construct three integrable coupling systems of the positive hierarchy through enlarging Lax pair method.  相似文献

The commutativity problem of the extended KP hierarchy is analyzed. The compatibility equation of two extended KP flows is constructed, together with its Lax representations involving two extended Lax operators. The resulting theory shows that the extended KP hierarchy is a natural generalization of the KP flows, but does not commute unlike the constrained KP hierarchy. A few particular examples are computed, along with their Lax pairs.  相似文献

A compatibly bi-Hamiltonian Laberge–Mathieu hierarchy of supersymmetric nonlinear dynamical systems is obtained by using a relation for the Casimir functionals of the central extension of a Lie algebra of superconformal even vector fields of two anticommuting variables. Its matrix Lax representation is determined by using the property of the gradient of the supertrace of the monodromy supermatrix for the corresponding matrix spectral problem. For a supersymmetric Laberge–Mathieu hierarchy, we develop a method for reduction to a nonlocal finite-dimensional invariant subspace of the Neumann type. We prove the existence of a canonical even supersymplectic structure on this subspace and the Lax–Liouville integrability of the reduced commuting vector fields generated by the hierarchy.  相似文献

In this work, on the basis of the Bogolyubov–Prykarpats’kyi gradient–holonomic algorithm for the investigation of the integrability of nonlinear dynamical systems on functional manifolds, the exact linearization of a Burgers–Korteweg–de Vries-type nonlinear dynamical system is established. As a result, we describe the linear structure of the space of solutions and show its relation to the convexity of certain functional subsets. The bi-Hamiltonian property of the Burgers–Korteweg–de Vries dynamical system is also established, and the infinite hierarchy of functionally independent invariants is constructed.  相似文献

An algorithm to obtain finite‐gap solutions of integrable nonlinear evolution equations (INLEEs) is provided by using the Neumann type systems in the framework of algebraic geometry. From the nonlinearization of Lax pairs, some INLEEs in 1+1 and 2+1 dimensions are reduced into a class of new Neumann type systems separating the spatial and temporal variables of INLEEs over a symplectic submanifold (M, ω2) . Based on the Lax representations of INLEEs, we deduce the Lax–Moser matrix for those Neumann type systems that yield the integrals of motion, elliptic variables, and a hyperelliptic curve of Riemann surface. Then, we attain the Liouville integrability for a hierarchy of Neumann type systems in view of a Lax equation on (M, ω2) and a set of quasi‐Abel–Jacobi variables. We also specify the relationship between Neumann type systems and INLEEs, where the involutive solutions of Neumann type systems give rise to the finite parametric solutions of INLEEs and the Neumann map cuts out a finite dimensional invariant subspace for INLEEs. Under the Abel–Jacobi variables, the Neumann type flows, the 1+1, and 2+1 dimensional flows are integrated with Abel–Jacobi solutions; as a result, the finite‐gap solutions expressed by Riemann theta functions for some 1+1 and 2+1 dimensional INLEEs are achieved through the Jacobi inversion with the aid of the Riemann theorem.  相似文献

Based on the fundamental commutator representation proposed by Cao [4] we established two explicit expressions for roots of a third order differential operator. By using those expressions we succeeded in clarifying the relationship between two major approaches in theory of integrable systems: the zero curvature and the Lax representations for the KdV and the Boussinesq hierarchies. The proposed procedure could be extended to the general case of higher order of differential operators that leads to the Gel’fand-Dickey hierarchy.  相似文献

A discrete analog of the dressing method is presented and used to derive integrable nonlinear evolution equations, including two infinite families of novel continuous and discrete coupled integrable systems of equations of nonlinear Schrödinger type. First, a demonstration is given of how discrete nonlinear integrable equations can be derived starting from their linear counterparts. Then, starting from two uncoupled, discrete one‐directional linear wave equations, an appropriate matrix Riemann‐Hilbert problem is constructed, and a discrete matrix nonlinear Schrödinger system of equations is derived, together with its Lax pair. The corresponding compatible vector reductions admitted by these systems are also discussed, as well as their continuum limits. Finally, by increasing the size of the problem, three‐component discrete and continuous integrable discrete systems are derived, as well as their generalizations to systems with an arbitrary number of components.  相似文献

The Hamiltonian representation for a hierarchy of Lax type equations on a dual space to the Lie algebra of integro-differential operators with matrix coefficients, extended by evolutions for eigenfunctions and adjoint eigenfunctions of the corresponding spectral problems, is obtained via some special Bäcklund transformation. We study infinite-dimensional Liouville–Lax integrable nonlinear dynamical systems. For these systems, we consider the problem of finding an appropriate set of initial conditions leading to typical solutions such as solitons and traveling waves. We develop an approach to the solution of this problem based on the exact reduction of a given nonlinear dynamical system to its finite-dimensional invariant submanifolds and the subsequent investigation of the system of ordinary differential equations obtained by qualitative analysis. The efficiency of the approach proposed is demonstrated by the examples of the Korteweg–de Vries equation, the modified nonlinear Schrödinger equation, and a hydrodynamic model.  相似文献

Starting from a Tu Guizhang‘s isospectral‘problem, a Lax pair is obtained by means of Tu scheme ( we call it Tu Lax pair ). By applying a gauge transformation between matrices, the Tu Lax pair is changed to its equivalent Lax pair with the traces of spectral matrices being zero, whose compatibility gives rise to a type of Tu hierarchy of equations. By making use of a high order loop algebra constructed by us, an integrable coupling system of the Tu hierarchy of equations are presented. Especially, as reduction cases, the integrable couplings of the celebrated AKNS hierarchy, TD hierarchy and Levi hierarchy are given at the same time.  相似文献
