This paper reports that low-temperature heat capacities of 4-(2-aminoethyl)-phenol (C8H11NO) are measured by a precision automated adiabatic calorimeter over the temperature range from 78 to 400 K. A polynomial equation of heat capacities as a function of the temperature was fitted by the least square method. Based on the fitted polynomial, the smoothed heat capacities and thermodynamic functions of the compound relative to the standard reference temperature 298.15K were calculated and tabulated at the interval of 5K. The energy equivalent, εcalor, of the oxygen-bomb combustion calorimeter has been determined from 0.68g of NIST 39i benzoic acid to be εcalor=(14674.69±17.49)J·K^-1. The constant-volume energy of combustion of the compound at T=298.15 K was measured by a precision oxygen-bomb combustion calorimeter to be ΔcU=-(32374.25±12.93)J·g^-1. The standard molar enthalpy of combustion for the compound was calculated to be ΔcHm = -(4445.47 ± 1.77) kJ·mol^-1 according to the definition of enthalpy of combustion and other thermodynamic principles. Finally, the standard molar enthalpy of formation of the compound was derived to be ΔfHm(C8H11NO, s)=-(274.68 ±2.06) kJ·mol^-1, in accordance with Hess law.  相似文献

The inclusive production of the neutral vector mesons K*0(892) and ?(1020), and of the tensor meson ${? K}_{2}^{?t 0}(1430)$, in hadronic decays of the Z has been measured by the DELPHI detector at LEP. The average production rates per hadronic Z decay have been determined to be 0.77 ± 0.08 K*0(892), 0.104 ± 0.008 ?(1020) and ${? K}_{2}^{?t 0}(1430)$. The ratio of the tensor-to-vector meson production yields, $«ngle {? K}_{2}^{?t 0}(1430)»ngle$, is smaller than the 〈f2(1270)〉/〈ρ0(770)〉 and $«ngle f_{2}^{?ime}(1525)»ngle$ ratios measured by DELPHI. The production rates and differential cross sections are compared with the predictions of JETSET 7.4 tuned to the DELPHI data and of HERWIG 5.8. The K*0(892) and ?(1020) data are compatible with model predictions, but a large disagreement is observed for the ${? K}_{2}^{?t 0}(1430)$.  相似文献

For convex co-compact hyperbolic quotients , we analyze the long-time asymptotic of the solution of the wave equation u(t) with smooth compactly supported initial data f = (f 0, f 1). We show that, if the Hausdorff dimension δ of the limit set is less than n/2, then where and . We explain, in terms of conformal theory of the conformal infinity of X, the special cases , where the leading asymptotic term vanishes. In a second part, we show for all the existence of an infinite number of resonances (and thus zeros of Selberg zeta function) in the strip . As a byproduct we obtain a lower bound on the remainder R(t) for generic initial data f.  相似文献

Soluble dimer compounds of the general formula [C60(Me 3Si)n]2 (where n = 3, 5, 7, or 9 and M e = CH3) and a soluble monomer compound, C60(Me 3Si)12, are synthesized by the reaction of the compound C60Nan(THF)x (where n = 4, 6, 8, 10, or 12 and THF = tetrahydrofuran) with trimethylchlorosilane Me 3SiCl. The compounds synthesized are identified using IR and NMR spectroscopy and mass spectrometry. An irreversible endothermic effect exhibited by the [C60(Me 3Si)7]2 compound in the temperature range 448–570 K is revealed by dynamic adiabatic calorimetry. From analyzing the experimental results, it becomes possible for the first time to demonstrate the structural flexibility of the fullerene in the following sequence of reactions: $\begin{array}{*{20}c} {C_{60} \xrightarrow[{ - 12C_{10} H_8 }]{{ + 12NaC_{10} H_8 }}C_{60} Na_{12} \xrightarrow[{ - 12NaCl}]{{ + excess Me_3 SiCl}}C_{60} (Me_3 Si)_{12} \xrightarrow[{ - 12Me_3 SiCl}]{{ + HCl(gas)}}[C_{60} H_n ]\xrightarrow[{ - 1/2nH_2 }]{{hv}}C_{60} } \\ {C_{60} \xrightarrow[{ - 8C_{10} H_8 }]{{ + 8NaC_{10} H_8 }}C_{60} Na_8 \xrightarrow[{ - 8NaCl}]{{ + excess Me_3 SiCl}}[C_{60} (Me_3 Si)_7 ]_2 \xrightarrow{{573K}}\begin{array}{*{20}c} {products of the} \\ {transformation of + } \\ {Me_3 Si groups} \\ \end{array} C_{60^ - } } \\ \end{array} $   相似文献

The superfluid density rho_{s}(T) identical with1/lambda;{2}(T) has been measured at 2.64 GHz in highly underdoped YBa_{2}Cu_{3}O_{6+y}, at 37 dopings with T_{c} between 3 and 17 K. Within limits set by the transition width DeltaT_{c} approximately 0.4 K, rho_{s}(T) shows no evidence of critical fluctuations as T-->T_{c}, with a mean-field-like transition and no indication of vortex unbinding. Instead, we propose that rho_{s} displays the behavior expected for a quantum phase transition in the (3+1)-dimensional XY universality class, with rho_{s0} proportional, variant(p-p_{c}), T_{c} proportional, variant(p-p_{c});{1/2}, and rho_{s}(T) proportional, variant(T_{c}-T);{1} as T-->T_{c}.  相似文献

We present measurements of the branching fractions for the decays B;{+/-}-->a_{1};{+/-}(1260)pi;{0} and B;{+/-}-->a_{1};{0}(1260)pi;{+/-} from a data sample of 232x10;{6} BB[over ] pairs produced in e;{+}e;{-} annihilation through the Upsilon(4S) resonance. We measure the branching fraction B(B;{+/-}-->a_{1};{+/-}(1260)pi;{0})xB(a_{1};{+/-}(1260)-->pi;{-}pi;{+}pi;{+/-})=(13.2+/-2.7+/-2.1)x10;{-6} with a significance of 4.2sigma, and the branching fraction B(B;{+/-}-->a_{1};{0}(1260)pi;{+/-})xB(a_{1};{0}(1260)-->pi;{-}pi;{+}pi;{0})=(20.4+/-4.7+/-3.4)x10;{-6} with a significance of 3.8sigma, where the first error quoted is statistical and the second is systematic.  相似文献

In this work, we demonstrate field-induced Bose-Einstein condensation (BEC) in the organic compound NiCl2-4SC(NH2)_{2} using ac susceptibility measurements down to 1 mK. The Ni S=1 spins exhibit 3D XY antiferromagnetism between a lower critical field H_{c1} approximately 2 T and a upper critical field H_{c2} approximately 12 T. The results show a power-law temperature dependence of the phase transition line H_{c1}(T)-H_{c1}(0)=aT;{alpha} with alpha=1.47+/-0.10 and H_{c1}(0)=2.053 T, consistent with the 3D BEC universality class. Near H_{c2}, a kink was found in the phase boundary at approximately 150 mK.  相似文献

Role of the Λ(1600) is studied in the ${K}^{-}p\to {\rm{\Lambda }}{\pi }^{0}{\pi }^{0}$ reaction by using the effective Lagrangian approach near the threshold. We perform a calculation for the total and differential cross sections by considering the contributions from the Λ(1600) and Λ(1670) intermediate resonances decaying into ${\pi }^{0}{{\rm{\Sigma }}}^{* 0}(1385)$ with ${{\rm{\Sigma }}}^{* 0}(1385)$ decaying into ${\pi }^{0}{\rm{\Lambda }}$. Additionally, the non-resonance process from u-channel nucleon pole is also taken into account. With our model parameters, the current experimental data on the total cross sections of the ${K}^{-}p\to {\rm{\Lambda }}{\pi }^{0}{\pi }^{0}$ reaction can be well reproduced. It is shown that we really need the contribution from the Λ(1600) with spin-parity ${J}^{P}=1/{2}^{+}$, and that these measurements can be used to determine some of the properties of the Λ(1600) resonance. Furthermore, we also plot the π0Λ invariant mass distributions which could be tested by the future experimental measurements.  相似文献

Using a 281 pb{-1} data sample collected at the psi(3770) with the CLEO-c detector, we present the first absolute branching fraction measurement of the decay D0-->K(-)pi(+)pi(-)e(+)nu(e) at a statistical significance of about 4.0 standard deviations. We find 10 candidates consistent with the decay D0-->K(-)pi(+)pi(-)e(+)nu(e). The probability that a background fluctuation accounts for this signal is less than 4.1 x 10{-5}. We find B(D0-->K(-)pi(+)pi(-)e(+)nu(e)) = [2.8{-1.1}{+1.4}(stat)+/-0.3(syst)]x10{-4}. By restricting the invariant mass of the hadronic system to be consistent with K1(1270), we obtain the product of branching fractions B(D{0}-->K{1}{-}(1270)e{+}nu{e})xB(K1-(1270)-->K{-}pi{+}pi{-})=[2.5{-1.0}{+1.3}(stat)+/-0.2(syst)]x10{-4}. Using B(K1-(1270)-->K{-}pi{+}pi{-})=(33+/-3)%, we obtain B(D{0}-->K{1}{-}(1270)e{+}nu{e})=[7.6{-3.0}{+4.1}(stat)+/-0.6(syst)+/-0.7]x10{-4}. The last error accounts for the uncertainties in the measured K1-(1270)-->K{-}pi{+}pi{-} branching fractions.  相似文献

For an N-body Stark Hamiltonian , the resolvent estimate holds uniformly in with Re and Im , where , and is a compact interval. This estimate is well known as the limiting absorption principle. In this paper, we report that by introducing the localization in the configuration space, a refined resolvent estimate holds uniformly in with Re and Im . We report on a search for neutrinoless double-beta decay of ^{136}Xe with EXO-200. No signal is observed for an exposure of 32.5?kg?yr, with a background of ~1.5×10^{-3} kg^{-1}?yr^{-1}?keV^{-1} in the ±1σ region of interest. This sets a lower limit on the half-life of the neutrinoless double-beta decay T_{1/2}^{0νββ}(^{136}Xe)>1.6×10^{25} yr (90% C.L.), corresponding to effective Majorana masses of less than 140-380?meV, depending on the matrix element calculation.  相似文献

Stability of Two Soliton Collision for Nonintegrable gKdV Equations   总被引:1,自引:1,他引:0
We continue our study of the collision of two solitons for the subcritical generalized KdV equations
Solitons are solutions of the type where c 0  >  0. In [21], mainly devoted to the case f (u)  =  u 4, we have introduced a new framework to understand the collision of two solitons , for (0.1) in the case (or equivalently, ). In this paper, we consider the case of a general nonlinearity f (u) for which , are nonlinearly stable. In particular, since f is general and c 1 can be large, the results are not perturbations of the ones for the power case in [21]. First, we prove that the two solitons survive the collision up to a shift in their trajectory and up to a small perturbation term whose size is explicitly controlled from above: after the collision, , where is close to c j (j  =  1, 2). Then, we exhibit new exceptional solutions similar to multi-soliton solutions: for all , there exists a solution such that
where (j  =  1, 2) and converges to 0 in a neighborhood of the solitons as . The analysis is split in two distinct parts. For the interaction region, we extend the algebraic tools developed in [21] for the power case, by expanding f (u) as a sum of powers plus a perturbation term. To study the solutions in large time, we rely on previous tools on asymptotic stability in [17,22] and [18], refined in [19,20]. The molar volume isotherms of trans-decahydronaphthalene (C10H18) between 293 and 446 K and at pressures from 10 to 200 MPa have been determined. A modified Tait equation of state is used to fit each experimental molar volume isotherm with a maximum average deviation of 0.029%. The thermal expansivity (cubic expansion coefficient) α and isothermal compressibility κ were determined by fitting the slopes of the isobaric curves and isotherms, respectively. The coefficients in the equation Vm=C1+C2T+C3T^2-C4p-C5pT have been fitted with an average deviation of 1.03%.  相似文献

For a Hopf algebra B, we endow the Heisenberg double \({\mathcal{H}(B^*)}\) with the structure of a module algebra over the Drinfeld double \({\mathcal{D}(B)}\). Based on this property, we propose that \({\mathcal{H}(B^*)}\) is to be the counterpart of the algebra of fields on the quantum-group side of the Kazhdan–Lusztig duality between logarithmic conformal field theories and quantum groups. As an example, we work out the case where B is the Taft Hopf algebra related to the \({\overline{\mathcal{U}}_{\mathfrak{q}} s\ell(2)}\) quantum group that is Kazhdan–Lusztig-dual to (p,1) logarithmic conformal models. The corresponding pair \({(\mathcal{D}(B),\mathcal{H}(B^*))}\) is “truncated” to \({(\overline{\mathcal{U}}_{\mathfrak{q}} s\ell2,\overline{\mathcal{H}}_{\mathfrak{q}} s\ell(2))}\), where \({\overline{\mathcal{H}}_{\mathfrak{q}} s\ell(2)}\) is a \({\overline{\mathcal{U}}_{\mathfrak{q}} s\ell(2)}\) module algebra that turns out to have the form \({\overline{\mathcal{H}}_{\mathfrak{q}} s\ell(2)=\mathbb{C}_{\mathfrak{q}}[z,\partial]\otimes\mathbb{C}[\lambda]/(\lambda^{2p}-1)}\), where \({\mathbb{C}_{\mathfrak{q}}[z,\partial]}\) is the \({\overline{\mathcal{U}}_{\mathfrak{q}} s\ell(2)}\)-module algebra with the relations z p  = 0, ? p  = 0, and \({\partial z = \mathfrak{q}-\mathfrak{q}^{-1} + \mathfrak{q}^{-2} z\partial}\).  相似文献

Single-crystal plates of different sections of the (NH4)3ScF6 crystal have been investigated by polarization-optical microscopy and X-ray diffraction over a wide temperature range, including the temperatures of two known phase transitions and the third transition found recently. It is established that the symmetry of 5 phases changes in the following sequence: $\begin{gathered} O_h^5 - Fm3m(Z = 4) \leftrightarrow C_{2h}^5 - {{P12_1 } \mathord{\left/ {\vphantom {{P12_1 } {n1}}} \right. \kern-0em} {n1}}(Z = 2) \leftrightarrow C_{2h}^3 - {{I12} \mathord{\left/ {\vphantom {{I12} {m1}}} \right. \kern-0em} {m1}} \\ (Z = 16) \leftrightarrow C_i^1 - I\bar 1(Z = 16) \\ \end{gathered} $ .  相似文献

Inclusive K_{S};{0}K_{S};{0} production in ep collisions at the DESY ep collider HERA was studied with the ZEUS detector using an integrated luminosity of 0.5 fb;{-1}. Enhancements in the mass spectrum were observed and are attributed to the production of f_{2}(1270)/a_{2};{0}(1320), f_{2};{'}(1525) and f_{0}(1710). Masses and widths were obtained using a fit which takes into account theoretical predictions based on SU(3) symmetry arguments, and are consistent with the Particle Data Group values. The f_{0}(1710) state, which has a mass consistent with a glueball candidate, was observed with a statistical significance of 5 standard deviations. However, if this state is the same as that seen in gammagamma-->K_{S};{0}K_{S};{0}, it is unlikely to be a pure glueball state.  相似文献

A quantum integrability index was proposed in Komatsu et al(2019 SciPost Phys. 7 065). It systematizes the Goldschmidt and Witten's operator counting argument(Goldschmidt and Witten 1980 Phys. Lett. B 91 392) by using the conformal symmetry. In this work we compute the quantum integrability indexes for the symmetric coset models SU(N)/SO(N) and SO(2N)/SO(N)×SO(N). The indexes of these theories are all non-positive except for the case of SO(4)/SO(2)×SO(2). Moreover we extend the analysis to the theories with fermions and consider a concrete theory: the CP~N model coupled with a massless Dirac fermion. We find that the indexes for this class of models are non-positive as well.  相似文献
