Considering a bistable system driven by additive and multiplicative colored noises with colored cross-correlation, we obtain the analytic expressions of the stationary probability distribution P st(x), the linear relaxation time T c , and the correlated function C(s). The effects of the noise intensity, the self-correlation time and the cross-correlation time for the bistable system are discussed. The noise intensity D speeds up relaxation of the system from unstable points, which when D < Q, the effects are the most obvious; when D > Q, the effects are damped. The self-correlation time τ1 and τ2 make the stationary probability distribution of the dynamical variable x be shaper and speed up the fluctuation decay of the dynamical variable x. On the contrary, the cross-correlation time τ3 makes the stationary probability distribution of the dynamical variable x be flatter and slows down the fluctuation decay of the dynamical variable x. In this paper, we investigate a mathematical model for describing the growth of tumor cell under immune response, which is driven by cross-correlation between multiplicative and additive colored noises as well as the nonzero cross-correlation in between. The expression of the mean first-passage time (MFPT) is obtained by virtue of the steepest-descent approximation. It is found: (i) When the noises are negatively cross-correlated (λ<0), then the escape is faster than in the case with no correlation (λ=0); when the noises are positively cross-correlated (λ>0), then the escape is slower than in the case with no correlation. Moreover, in the case of positive cross-correlation, the escape time has a maximum for a certain intensity of one of the noises, i.e., the maximum for MFPT identifies the noise enhanced stability of the cancer state. (ii) The effect of the cross-correlation time τ 3 on the MFPT is completely opposite for λ>0 and λ<0. (iii) The self-correlation times τ 1 and τ 2 of colored noises can enhance stability of the cancer state, while the immune rate β can reduce it.  相似文献

The associated relaxation time Tc and the normalized correlation function C(s) for a tumor cell growth system subjected to color noises are investigated. Using the Novikov theorem and Fox approach, the steady probability distribution is obtained. Based on them, the expressions of Tc and C(s) are derived by means of projection operator method, in which the effects of the memory kernels of the correlation function are taken into account. Performing the numerical computations, it is found: (1) With the cross-correlation intensity |λ|, the additive noise intensity α and the multiplicative noise self-correlation time τ1 increasing, the tumor cell numbers can be restrained; And the cross-correlation time τ3, the multiplicative noise intensity D can induce the tumor cell numbers increasing; However, the additive noise self-correlation time τ2 cannot affect the tumor cell numbers; The relaxation time Tc is a stochastic resonant phenomenon, and the distribution curves exhibit a single-maximum structure with D increasing. (2) The cross-correlation strength λ weakens the related activity between two states of the tumor cell numbers at different time, and enhances the stability of the tumor cell growth system in the steady state; On the contrast, τ1 and τ3 enhance the related activity between two states at different time; However, τ2 has no effect on the related activity between two states at different time.  相似文献

The relaxation processes (α, β, and γ) in UHMW PE fibres drawn to different draw ratios λ have been studied by dynamic-mechanical and nuclear magnetic resonance methods. The temperature dependences of tensile loss moduli E″ and spin-lattice relaxation times T 1 have been analyzed assuming distribution of correlation times τ according to the Davidson—Cole function. The activation energies E a and parameters ε characterizing widths of distribution, and asymptotic value τ 0 for correlation times have been determined from experimental data for low-temperature γ-process and for high-temperature α-process. A weak β-process has been found by dynamic-mechanical method and quantitative analysis was made only for fibres with λ = 9. The temperature dependences of second moment M 2 of the broad-line NMR spectra have been analyzed according to the Gutowsky—Pake formula, which includes only a single correlation time τ c without distribution. In this case the activation energies E a and values of τ 0 have been determined.  相似文献

The effects of time delay on stochastic resonance (SR) in a bistable system with time delay, correlated noises and periodic signal are studied by using the theory of signal-to-noise ratio (SNR). The expression of the SNR is derived under the adiabatic limit and the small delay time approximation. It is found that: (i) For the case of no correlations between multiplicative and additive noise, the delay time τ can enhance the SNR as a function of the multiplicative noise intensity α and it can restrain the SNR as a function of the additive noise intensity D; (ii) For the case of correlations between multiplicative and additive noise, τ can induce a minimum and maximum in curve of the SNR as a function of α, and can intensively restrain the SNR as a function of the D and there is a critical value of delay tim τ c =0.1 in the height of the SNR peak with change of τ, i.e., when τ takes value blow τ c , the τ boosts up the SNR as a function of the strength λ of correlations between multiplicative and additive noise, however, when τ takes value above τ c , the τ restrains that.  相似文献

We study the effects of time delay on the normalized correlation function C(s) and the associated relaxation time T c for a bistable system with correlations between multiplicative and additive white noises under the condition of small time delay. Using the projection operator method, the expressions of T c and C(s) are obtained. Based on numerical computations, it is found that the delay time τ slows down the rate of fluctuation decay of dynamical variable for the presence of positive feedback intensity ( > 0), while speeds up the rate of fluctuation decay of dynamical variable for the presence of negative feedback intensity ( < 0). The effects of the delay time τ on the T c and C(s) are entirely opposite for 〉 0 and < 0.   相似文献

On the basis of current theoretical views on the critical phenomena in isotropic Heisenberg ferromagnets the power temperature behavior Λ=c(τ)λ0τ-w has been derived for the muon spin relaxation rate Λ as π-T c −1 (T-T c ) → 0+. It is shown that the crossover from an exchange critical regime to a dipolar one is accompanied not only with the change in the critical exponentw in the above law, but also with the reduction of the coefficientc(π). A comparison with the temperature behaviour of the inverse nuclear relaxation timet R −1 measured in the PAC experiment is carried out.  相似文献

The stationary properties of a saturation laser model with cross-correlation between the real and imaginary parts of the quantum noise are investigated theoretically. Using the Novikov theorem and the Sargent technique, we obtain the analytic expressions of the stationary probability density distribution, the mean, the variance and the skewness of the saturation laser model. The cross-correlation coefficient λ and other parameters can make the stationary probability density distribution P st (I) generate interesting two-extrema structure, one-extremum structure, or no-extremum structure. It is clearly found that a first- order-like-transition is induced by the coupling strength |λ| of the complex quantum noise terms in the saturation laser model. When the laser system is operated above the threshold, the mean 〈I〉 becomes larger and the output of the laser intensity increases; however the coupling strength |λ| attenuates the output of the laser intensity. When the laser is operated near and below the threshold, the mean 〈I〉 becomes smaller, the output of the laser intensity decreases, and |λ| still attenuates the output of the laser intensity. When a periodic signal is added to a saturation laser model with cross-correlation between quantum noise terms, the interesting stochastic resonance phenomena occur at λ=0. The noise intensity Q decreases the values of the resonance peak, however, the amplitude of the periodic signal B enhances the values of the resonance peak.  相似文献

We consider a quantum system in contact with a heat bath consisting in an infinite chain of identical sub-systems at thermal equilibrium at inverse temperature β. The time evolution is discrete and such that over each time step of duration τ, the reference system is coupled to one new element of the chain only, by means of an interaction of strength λ. We consider three asymptotic regimes of the parameters λ and τ for which the effective evolution of observables on the small system becomes continuous over suitable macroscopic time scales T and whose generator can be computed: the weak coupling limit regime λ → 0, τ = 1, the regime τ → 0, λ2τ → 0 and the critical case λ2τ = 1, τ → 0. The first two regimes are perturbative in nature and the effective generators they determine is such that a non-trivial invariant sub-algebra of observables naturally emerges. The third asymptotic regime goes beyond the perturbative regime and provides an effective dynamics governed by a general Lindblad generator naturally constructed from the interaction Hamiltonian. Conversely, this result shows that one can attach to any Lindblad generator a repeated quantum interactions model whose asymptotic effective evolution is generated by this Lindblad operator.  相似文献

Muon spin relaxation in low (weak) longitudinal magnetic field (LLF-μSR) provides a means of independently determining the static dipolar width Δ characterizing the μ+ lattice site and the correlation time τc for μ+ hopping, in a manner that is nearly model-independent for τc and especially accurate in the near-static limit (τcμ). For the first time submillimetric microwaves (λ<1 mm) are used to observe Azbel' Kaner cyclotron resonance in metals. The very high frequency used (typicallyF≅400 GHz) gives a large value ofωτ (typically 500) and therefore very sharp peaks. The fundamental resonance fieldH c=m * cω/e is rather high (typically 200 KG), so subharmonicsH c/n can be observed at many values ofH in the field region 0–27 KG. If relatively few electrons participate in the resonance and ifω cτ≧50 (ω c=eH/m * c,τ relaxation time) thenChambers has shown that the line shapes are independent of relaxation time while the fractional linewidthΔH/H varies as l/ωτ. The aim of this study is to obtain further information about the source of proton relaxation in the Mn(II)-human serum albumin complex. For this purpose, proton relaxation rates in albumin solutions 1/T 1 and 1/T 2 were measured versus increasing amounts of manganese [Mnt]. The fractions of manganese bound to albumin [Mnb] and free manganese [Mnf] were then determined from proton relaxation rate enhancement data. Paramagnetic contributions of bound manganese to the observed relaxation rates (1/T 1p*)b and (1/T 2p*)b were also determined. Finally, the (1/T 2p*)b/(1/T 1p*)b ratio was used in a derived equation to estimate an effective correlation time τ. Mean τ value of the complex was found to be in the order of 3 ns, while the hydration number of bound manganese q was estimated to be about 4. The 1/τ was found to be the sum of the inverse values of rotational correlation time 1/τ r, mean residence time of water in hydration spheres of the complex 1/τ m, and longitudinal electronic relaxation time of manganese 1/τ s in the complex. In conclusion, the relaxation mechanism in albumin solutions containing Mn(II) can be interpreted through dipolar and scalar interactions modulated by τ r, τ m and τ s. This analysis enables one to get reasonable figures for the τ r and q of Mn(II) in albumin solution.  相似文献

The global time delay is introduced into a bistable system driven by two noises and a periodic signal. The signal power amplification factor η is employed to characterise stochastic resonance (SR) of the system. Numerical simulation results indicate the following. (1) For a periodic signal with low frequency (Ω), the typical behaviour of the SR is lowered monotonically by increasing the delay time τ; for moderate Ω, τ enhances the SR behaviour and then weakens it, with a critical value at which the SR is optimum. (2) Multiplicative noise intensity D and additive noise intensity α have different influences on the SR performance, viz D enhances the SR monotonically while α enforces the SR initially and then restrains it; (3) correlation intensity λ between the two noises always weakens the SR behaviour of the system.  相似文献

It has been shown that the observation of the transitions between the dielectric phase and the integer-quantum-Hall-effect phases with the quantized Hall conductivity σ xy q ≥ 3e 2/h announced in a number of works is unjustified. In these works, the crossing points of the magnetic-field dependence of the diagonal resistivity ρ xx at different temperatures T and ωcτ = 1 have been misidentified as the critical points of the phase transitions. In fact, these crossing points are due to the sign change of the derivative dρ xx /dT owing to the quantum corrections to the conductivity. Here, ωc = eB/m is the cyclotron frequency, τ is the transport relaxation time, and m is the effective electron mass.  相似文献

The dynamical properties of a single-mode laser are investigated when there are two different types of time delays existed in the deterministic force and fluctuating force respectively. In the case of small values of time delays, approximate delayed Fokker-Planck equation is obtained by the method of probability density approximation. The relaxation of the superconducting transition temperature T c in YBa2Cu3O6.38 is investigated with increasing oxygen order in the CuOx plane under 1 GPa pressure and with decreasing oxygen order after the pressure is relieved. It is established that the oxygen disordering process is more rapid than the pressure-induced ordering process: The ratio of the relaxation times of T c in these processes τ ord/τ disord≈5. This behavior could be caused by different mechanisms of the pressure-induced increase in the Cu-O chain length and decrease of this length after pressure relief. Fiz. Tverd. We show that the dynamics of disordered charge density waves (CDWs) and spin density waves (SDWs) is a collective phenomenon. The very low temperature specific heat relaxation experiments are characterized by: (i) “interrupted” ageing (meaning that there is a maximal relaxation time); and (ii) a broad power-law spectrum of relaxation times which is the signature of a collective phenomenon. We propose a random energy model that can reproduce these two observations and from which it is possible to obtain an estimate of the glass cross-over temperature (typically T g≃ 100-200 mK). The broad relaxation time spectrum can also be obtained from the solutions of two microscopic models involving randomly distributed solitons. The collective behavior is similar to domain growth dynamics in the presence of disorder and can be described by the dynamical renormalization group that was proposed recently for the one dimensional random field Ising model [D.S. Fisher, P. Le Doussal, C. Monthus, Phys. Rev. Lett. 80, 3539 (1998)]. The typical relaxation time scales like ∼τexp(T g/T). The glass cross-over temperature Tg related to correlations among solitons is equal to the average energy barrier and scales like T g∼ 2xξΔ. x is the concentration of defects, ξ the correlation length of the CDW or SDW and Δ the charge or spin gap. In this paper, the intensity correlation time T is studied for the gain-noise model of a single-mode laser driven by coloured pump noise and coloured quantum noise with coloured cross-correlation with a direct signal modulation. By using the linear approximation method, it is found that when the pump noise is modulated directly by a signal, the effects of the cross-correlation between the pump noise and the quantum noise will disappear. In addition, there exists a maximum (i.e. resonance) in the curve of the intensity correlation time $T$ versus the pump noise self-correlation time \tau1. Furthermore, when \tau1\le\tau2, the intensity correlation time T increases monotonically with the increase of $D$ and decreases monotonically with the increase of Q, but when \tau1>\tau2, the intensity correlation time T increases monotonically with the increase of Q and decreases monotonically with the increase of D.  相似文献

Isothermal remanent magnetization decay,M r(t), and ‘in-field’ growth of zero-field-cooled magnetization,M ZFC(t), with time have been measured over four decades in time at temperatures ranging from 0.25T c to 1.25T c (whereT c is the Curie temperature, determined previously for the same sample from static critical phenomena measurements) for a nearly ordered intermetallic compound Ni3Al, which is an experimental realization of a three-dimensional (d = 3) ferromagnet with weak quenched random-exchange disorder. None of the functional forms ofM r(t) predicted by the existing phenomenological models of relaxation dynamics in spin systems with quenched randomness, but only the expressions and closely reproduce such data in the present case. The most striking features of magnetic relaxation in the system in question are as follows: Aging effects are absent in bothM r t andM ZFC(t) at all temperatures in the temperature range covered in the present experiments. A cross-over in equilibrium dynamics from the one, characteristic of a pured = 3 ferromagnet with complete atomic ordering and prevalent at temperatures away from Tc, to that, typical of ad = 3 random-exchange ferromagnet, occurs asT → Tc. The relaxation times τ1(T)(τ1 (T)) and τ2(T)(τ2 (T)) exhibit logarithmic divergence at critical temperatures and ; and both increase with the external magnetic field strength,H, such that at any given field value, . The exponent characterizing the logarithmic divergence in τ 1 (T) and τ 2 T possesses a field-independent value of ≃16 for both relaxation times. Of all the available theoretical models, the droplet fluctuation model alone provides a qualitative explanation for some aspects of the present magnetic relaxation data  相似文献
