In this work, densities and refractive indices of the ternary mixture ethanol?+?water?+?1-hexyl-3-methylimidazolium chloride ([C6mim][Cl]) and of the binary systems containing the ionic liquids (ILs) have been measured at 298.15?K and atmospheric pressure. Excess molar volumes and changes of refractive indices on mixing were determined from experimental data. The binary data were correlated with the Redlich–Kister equation, while the Cibulka equation was applied for the ternary system.  相似文献

The apparent molar volumes (V φ ) of glycine, L-alanine and L-serine in aqueous 0 to 4 mol⋅kg−1 N-methylacetamide (NMA) solutions have been obtained by density measurement at 298.15 K. The standard partial molar volumes (Vf0)V_{\phi}^{0}) and standard partial molar volumes of transfer (DtrVf0)\Delta_{\mathrm{tr}}V_{\phi}^{0}) have been determined for these amino acids. It has been show that hydrophilic-hydrophilic interactions between the charged groups of the amino acids and the –CONH– group of NMA predominate for glycine and L-serine, but for L-alanine the interactions between its side group (–CH3) and NMA predominate. The –CH3 group of L-alanine has much more influence on the value of DtrVf0\Delta_{\mathrm{tr}}V_{\phi}^{0} than that of the –OH group of L-serine. The results have been interpreted in terms of a co-sphere overlap model.  相似文献

Densities, viscosities and refractive indices have been measured at 298.15 K and atmospheric pressure for binary and ternary mixtures of ethanol, ethyl acetate and 1-butyl-3-methyl-imidazolium bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl) imide [C4mim][NTF2]. From these experimental properties, the corresponding excess properties have been calculated and adequately fitted with the Redlich-Kister polynomial equation. The adjustable parameters and standard deviations between experimental and calculated values are reported. Interest of this mixture is due to the possibility of using [C4mim][NTF2] as an entrainer in the extractive distillation of ethanol + ethyl acetate. These results are compared with previously determined experimental data for mixtures of ethyl acetate and/or ethanol with the ionic liquid 1-octyl-3-methyl-imidazolium bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)imide, [C8mim][NTF2].  相似文献

Densities have been measured by an oscillating-tube densimeter for aqueous solutions of glycylglycine and glycylglycylglycine in aqueous xylitol solutions with xylitol mass fractions ranging from 0 to 0.15 at 298.15 K. Apparent molar volumes and limiting partial molar volumes have been used to calculate the corresponding transfer volumes from water to different concentrations of xylitol + water mixtures. Aqueous solutions of DNA in the presence of dipropylsulfoxide (DPSO) and of dibutylsulfoxide (DBSO) have been studied using UV-vis spectroscopy and density measurements. It has been shown that significant thermal denaturation of DNA occurs when DPSO or DBSO are present. The results obtained were compared with those obtained previously with dimethylsulfoxide (DMSO) and diethylsulfoxide (DESO). It is suggested that the lowering of the transition enthalpy with increasing length of the carbon chain of the dialkylsulfoxides is due to significance contribution from hydrophobic interactions.  相似文献

Abstract

Ternary liquid—liquid equilibrium data for the system water-ethanol-methyl ethyl ketone were obtained at 298.15 and 318.15 K. Data for the binodal curves have been determined by the cloud-point method and conjugate points on tie-lines were determined by gas-chromatographic analysis. Tie-line data at each temperature were satisfactorily correlated by the Othmer and Tobias' method and the plait points coordinates were estimated. The experimental data were also fitted with the UNIFAC group contribution method for the activity coefficients using the isoactivity conditions as restraint equations and with the NRTL and UNIQUAC models.  相似文献

Enthalpies of the dissolution of DL-α-alanylglycine (AlaGly), DL-α-alanyl-DL-α-alanine (AlaAla), DL-α-alanyl-DL-α-valine (AlaVal), and DL-α-alanyl-DL-norleucine (AlaNln) in an aqueous solution of sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) at SDS concentration of m = 0–0.07 mol kg?1 and temperature Т = 298.15 K are measured via calorimetry. The standard values of the enthalpy of dissolution (ΔsolH m ) and the transfer of dipeptides (ΔtrH m ) from water to aqueous SDS solutions are calculated using the experimental data. The dependences of ΔsolH m and ΔtrH m the SDS concentration at a constant concentration of dipeptide are established. Thermochemical characteristics of the transfer of AlaGly, AlaAla, AlaVal, and AlaNln in the investigated range of SDS concentrations are compared. The results are interpreted by considering ion–ion, ion–polar, and hydrophobic–hydrophobic interactions between SDS and dipeptide molecules.  相似文献

The densities of l-alanine and l-serine in aqueous solutions of N,N-dimethylformamide (DMF) have been measured at 298.15 K with an Anton Paar Model 55 densimeter. Apparent molar volumes $ (V_{\phi } ) $ ( V ? ) , standard partial molar volumes $ (V_{\phi }^{0} ) $ ( V ? 0 ) , standard partial molar volumes of transfer $ (\Updelta_{\text{tr}} V_{\phi }^{0} ) $ ( Δ tr V ? 0 ) and hydration numbers have been determined for the amino acids. The $ \Updelta_{\text{tr}} V_{\phi }^{0} $ Δ tr V ? 0 values of l-serine are positive which suggest that hydrophilic–hydrophilic interactions between l-serine and DMF are predominant. The –CH3 group of l-alanine has much more influence on the volumetric properties and the $ \Updelta_{\text{tr}} V_{\phi }^{0} $ Δ tr V ? 0 have smaller negative values. Conductivities were measured for the ternary systems NaNO3–KNO3–H2O, NaCl–BaCl2–H2O, NaCl–LaCl3–H2O, and their binary subsystems NaNO3–H2O, KNO3–H2O, NaCl–H2O, BaCl2–H2O, and LaCl3–H2O at (293.15, 298.15 and 303.15) K. The results were used to verify the generalized Young’s rule and the semi-ideal solution theory. Comparison of the results shows that the average relative differences between the predicted and measured conductivities are ≤4.2×10−3 for NaNO3–KNO3–H2O, ≤4.6×10−3 for NaCl–BaCl2–H2O, and ≤8.9×10−3 for NaCl–LaCl3–H2O, indicating that the generalized Young’s rule and the semi-ideal solution theory can provide good predictions for the conductivity of mixed electrolyte solutions in terms of the data from their binary subsystems.  相似文献

In the present work the thermodynamic dissociation constants of acetic acid were determined in (N,N-dimethylformamide (DMF) + water) mixtures over the DMF mole fraction range from 0 to 0.65 at the temperature 298.15 K by the potentiometric titration method. The dissociation constant in pure DMF was obtained by extrapolation and comparative calculation methods. The dependence of the acetic acid dissociation constant on the mixed solvent composition was fitted with linear multiple regression of the solvatochromic parameters of (DMF + water) mixtures at every studied composition.  相似文献

The alcohol solvents studied were 1-propanol, 1-butanol, 1-pentanol, 1-hexanol, 2-propanol, 2-butanol, 2-methyl-1-propanol and 3-methyl-1-butanol. Results of these measurements were used to test a mathematical representation based on the combined nearly ideal binary solvent (NIBS)/Redlich–Kister equation. For the eight systems studied, the combined NIBS/Redlich–Kister equation was found to accurately describe the experimental data, with an average absolute deviation between the measured and back-calculated values being approximately ±0.4%.  相似文献

In this paper, the liquid?Cliquid equilibria for 1-propanol, 2-propanol or 2-methyl-2-propanol + disodium hydrogen citrate aqueous two-phase systems at 298.15 K were studied. The experimental binodal curves at 298.15?K are reported, and the parameters of the Merchuk equation, modified as a nonlinear function of mixed solvent properties and used for the simultaneous correlation of the experimental binodal data. Moreover, the salting-out ability of different salts and different alcohols with different anions is discussed. Additionally, experimental tie-line data are reported at 298.15 K. The generalized electrolyte-NRTL model of the mixed solvent electrolyte systems (e-NRTL) satisfactorily used for the correlation of the tie-line compositions; restricted binary interaction parameters were also obtained.  相似文献

The apparent molar volumes, V φ , of two series of homologous aliphatic carboxylic acids, H(CH2) n COOH [n=0–5] and (CH2) n (COOH)2 [n=0–5], were determined in dilute aqueous solutions by density measurements at T=298.15 K. Densities were measured using a vibrating-tube densimeter (DMA 5000, Anton Paar, Austria) at T=298.15 K. These results were used to calculate the apparent molar volumes of each solute over the concentration range 0.0050≤m/(mol⋅kg−1)≤0.3000. Values of the apparent molar volumes of undissociated acids Vf(u)0V_{\phi (u)}^{0} were also calculated. The variation of Vf(u)0V_{\phi (u)}^{0} was determined as a function of the aliphatic chain length of the studied carboxylic acids.  相似文献

Heats of solution, Δsol H m , of L-cysteine, L-serine and L-asparagine amino acids have been measured at different concentrations of aqueous ethanol, propanol and 2-propanol at 298.15 K using solvation calorimetry. These data are compared with the results reported earlier for L-alanine in ethanol. The enthalpic coefficients, h xy , of the solute-organic cosolvent pair interaction in water have been obtained from the McMillan-Mayer approach and the data have been interpreted in terms of various interactions and changes in solvent structure.  相似文献
