In this paper, a new stability analysis of switched impulsive systems with time delays whose subsystem is not necessarily stable is presented. A sufficient condition on uniformly asymptotical stability for nonlinear switched impulsive systems is obtained. Using the result obtained and the minimum (maximum) holding time, an easily verifiable condition on uniformly asymptotical stability for linear switched impulsive systems with time delays is derived. The control synthesis is also discussed. Finally, two examples with simulation results are given to validate the results.  相似文献

In this paper, exponential stability criteria of impulsive switched systems with variable delays are introduced. Based on some impulsive delay differential inequalities, some general criteria for the exponential stability are obtained. Finally, an example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the theory.  相似文献

Relationships between system states contained in the neutral equation are used to address the delay-dependent stability of a neutral system with time-varying state delay. Using linear matrix inequalities, we present a new asymptotic stability criterion, and a new robust stability criterion, for neutral systems with mixed delays. Since the criteria take into account the sizes of the neutral delay, discrete delay and the derivative of discrete delay, they are less conservative than those produced by previous approaches. Numerical examples are presented to demonstrate that these criteria are indeed more effective.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider the problem of stability analysis of fractional-order complex-valued Hopfield neural networks with time delays, which have been extensively investigated. Moreover, the fractional-order complex-valued Hopfield neural networks with hub structure and time delays are studied, and two types of fractional-order complex-valued Hopfield neural networks with different ring structures and time delays are also discussed. Some sufficient conditions are derived by using stability theorem of linear fractional-order systems to ensure the stability of the considered systems with hub structure. In addition, some sufficient conditions for the stability of considered systems with different ring structures are also obtained. Finally, three numerical examples are given to illustrate the effectiveness of our theoretical results.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with the existence, stability, and global attractivity of time-periodic solutions for a class of coupled parabolic equations in a bounded domain. The problem under consideration includes coupled system of parabolic and ordinary differential equations, and time delays may appear in the nonlinear reaction functions. Our approach to the problem is by the method of upper and lower solutions and its associated monotone iterations. The existence of time-periodic solutions is for a class of locally Lipschitz continuous reaction functions without any quasimonotone requirement using Schauder fixed point theorem, while the stability and attractivity analysis is for quasimonotone nondecreasing and mixed quasimonotone reaction functions using the monotone iterative scheme. The results for the general system are applied to the standard parabolic equations without time delay and to the corresponding ordinary differential system. Applications are also given to three Lotka-Volterra reaction diffusion model problems, and in each problem a sufficient condition on the reaction rates is obtained to ensure the stability and global attractivity of positive periodic solutions.  相似文献

LMI-based stability analysis of fuzzy large-scale systems with time delays   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
The stability of fuzzy large-scale systems with time delays both in states and in interconnections are considered in this paper. The fuzzy large-scale system consists of J interconnected subsystems, which are represented by the Takagi–Sugeno (T–S) fuzzy models. The stability conditions are derived using Lyapunov–Krasovskii approach, in combined with the linear matrix inequality (LMI) techniques. We also present a stabilization approach for the delayed fuzzy large-scale systems through fuzzy state feedback controllers. Finally, numerical examples are given to demonstrate the correctness of the theoretical results.  相似文献

In this paper, the global stability problem of uncertain Takagi–Sugeno (T–S) fuzzy Hopfield neural networks with time delays (TSFHNNs) is considered. A novel LMI-based stability criterion is obtained by using Lyapunov functional theory to guarantee the asymptotic stability of TSFHNNs. Here, we choose a generalized Lyapunov functional and introduce a parameterized model transformation with free weighting matrices to it, in order to obtain generalized stability region. In fact, these techniques lead to generalized and less conservative stability condition that guarantee the wide stability region. The proposed stability conditions are demonstrated with four numerical examples. Comparison with other stability conditions in the literature shows our conditions are the more powerful ones to guarantee the widest stability region.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with asymptotic stability of a system of reaction-diffusion equations which is expressed in terms of Volterra integrals, under homogeneous Dirichlet boundary conditions. The effect of diffusion and delays on the stability of the system are analyzed, and sufficient conditions are given for the existence of positive solutions of the corresponding steady-state problem. Their global attraction with respect to nonnegative solutions of the time-dependent system is discussed. The main tools are Lyapunov functionals, positive definite kernels, and Laplace transforms.  相似文献

This paper addresses the stability problem of delayed nonlinear positive switched systems whose subsystems are all positive. Both discrete-time systems and continuous-time systems are studied. In our analysis, the delays in systems can be unbounded. Two conditions are established to test the local asymptotic stability of the considered systems. The method to compute the domains of attraction is also proposed provided that the system is locally asymptotically stable. When reduced to general nonlinear positive systems, that is, the considered switched system consists of only one mode, an interesting conclusion follows that the proposed nonlinear positive system is locally asymptotically stable for all admissible delays and nonnegative nonlinearities which satisfy an extra condition at the origin, if and only if the system represented by the linear part is asymptotically stable for all admissible delays. Finally, a numerical example is presented to illustrate the obtained results.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider the input-to-state stability (ISS) of impulsive control systems with and without time delays. We prove that, if the time-delay system possesses an exponential Lyapunov–Razumikhin function or an exponential Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional, then the system is uniformly ISS provided that the average dwell-time condition is satisfied. Then, we consider large-scale networks of impulsive systems with and without time delays and prove that the whole network is uniformly ISS under the small-gain and the average dwell-time condition. Moreover, these theorems provide us with tools to construct a Lyapunov function (for time-delay systems, a Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional or a Lyapunov–Razumikhin function) and the corresponding gains of the whole system, using the Lyapunov functions of the subsystems and the internal gains, which are linear and satisfy the small-gain condition. We illustrate the application of the main results on examples.  相似文献

This paper addresses the stability problems of perturbed switched nonlinear systems with time-varying delays. It is assumed that the nominal switched nonlinear system (perturbation-free system) is uniformly exponentially stable and that the perturbations satisfy a linear growth bound condition. It is revealed that there exists an upper bound of perturbation guaranteeing that the perturbed system preserves the stability property of the nominal system, locally or globally, depending on both perturbations and the nominal system itself. An example is provided to illustrate the proposed theoretical results.  相似文献

In this paper, the global asymptotic stability for a class of differential inclusion systems with discrete and distributed time delays is investigated. Some delay-dependent criteria are proposed to guarantee the global asymptotic stability of the systems. Finally, a numerical example is provided to illustrate the use of the main results.  相似文献

New delay-independent and delay-dependent stability criteria for linear systems with multiple uncertain delays are established by using both the time-domain and the frequency-domain methods. The results are derived based on the established new preliminary lemmas and by using new-type stability theorems for general retarded dynamical systems and new analysis techniques in the time-domain and the frequency-domain. All the established stability criteria depend only on the eigenvalues related to the coefficient matrices of the systems and do not involve any free tuning parameters. In addition, some remarks are given to explain in detail the obtained results and to point out the limitations of the existing results in the literature.  相似文献

If one is dealing with active vibration suppression on a highly nonlinear flexible system, various techniques are needed. On the one hand a suitable dynamic model of the system is required. And on the other hand intelligent model based control concepts are necessary for active vibration damping. We deal with a basic model, where the flexibilities are approximated with linear springs and dampers, a so called lumped element model (LEM). For the control design we propose a control structure with two degrees of freedom (2DoF) for solving the tracking problem, based on the LEM. Such an approach allows designing the feedforward part independently of the feedback part. Hereby the feedforward control is based on the flatness approach, while for the feedback control several strategies are studied using acceleration- and gyrosensor-measurements. The contribution is completed with a validation by measurements from a very fast trajectory on an articulated robot with two flexible links and three elastic joints. In this paper, the issue of controllability for linear time-varying systems with multiple time delays in the control and impulsive effects is addressed. The solution of such systems based on the variation of parameters is derived. Several sufficient and necessary algebraic conditions for two kinds of controllability, i.e., controllability to the origin and controllability, are derived. The relation among these conditions are established. A numerical example is provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed methods.  相似文献

Time delays are an important aspect of mathematical modelling, but often result in highly complicated equations which are difficult to treat analytically. In this paper it is shown how careful application of certain undergraduate tools such as the Method of Steps and the Principle of the Argument can yield significant results. Certain delay differential equations arising in population dynamics may serve as good teaching examples for these methods. The determination of linear stability properties for an ordinary differential equation with a varying time delay is carried out through discrete point analysis, either by seeking explicit solutions or leading to the consideration of a difference equation and the roots of a characteristic polynomial. Numerical simulations carried out using MATLAB Simulink are compared to the analytical solutions, and computation is also used to suggest extensions to some results.  相似文献

This article investigates the robust stability of fractional order neutral-type systems involving nonlinear perturbations and time varying delays in the presence of input saturation. Design criteria, expressed in terms of linear matrix inequalities, are derived with the aid of the Lyapunov Krasovskii functional for the state feedback controller. Based on the cone complementarity linearization method, an optimization problem is also formulated for finding the controller gains subject to maximizing the domain of attraction. The main results are confirmed by numerical simulations.  相似文献
