The paper studies nonlinear hydrodynamic fluctuations by the methods of nonequilibrium statistical mechanics. The generalized Fokker-Planck equation for the distribution function of coarse-grained densities of conserved quantities is derived from the Liouville equation and then is investigated by using the gradient expansions in the flux correlation matrix. We have obtained the functional-differential Fokker-Planck equation describing the nonlinear hydrodynamic fluctuations in spatially nonuniform systems to second order in gradients of coarse-grained fluctuating fields. An outline of the derivation of Fokker-Planck equations containing the Burnett terms is also given. The explicit coordinate representation for the hydrodynamic Fokker-Planck equation is discussed in the case of one-component simple fluid. The general scheme of a change of coarse-grained functional variables is developed for hydrodynamic Fokker-Planck equations. The corresponding transformation rules are found for “drift” terms, “diffusion coefficients” and thermodynamic forces. The dynamical equations and stationary conditions for averages of functions (functionals) of hydrodynamic fields are discussed by using the Fokker-Planck operators acting on such functions. The explicit form of these operators are found for various sets of fluctuating fields. As an application of the formalism the calculation of the stationary correlation functions is presented for a simple nonequilibrium steady state.  相似文献

General kinetic equation for statistical systems is presented. A kinetic equation with source that is fluctuation of physical values was obtained. A new statistical criterion of systems evolution was determined. Nonequilibrium statistical and variational derivations of general kinetic equations are considered. Evolution of nonequilibrium Boltzmann-Gibbs-Shannon entropy, Hamilton function and Hamilton function production are examined.  相似文献

Using the nonequilibrium statistical operator obtained in the preceding paper of the authors [1], equations describing the kinetics of nucleation in a nonequilibrium medium are derived. A Fokker-Planck equation is found for embryo distribution functions in the number of particles, energy, momentum, and c.m. coordinates with additional random forces due to non equilibrium processes in the medium. Hydrodynamic equations are obtained for the medium with account of thermodynamic forces due to discontinuities of thermodynamic parameters at the interphase boundary. The symmetry of cross (interphase) kinetic coefficients is considered.Translated from Izvestiya Vysshikh Uchebnykh Zavedenii, Fizika, No. 5, pp. 44–52, May, 1978.  相似文献

A generalized thermodynamic potential for Markoffian systems with detailed balance and far from thermal equilibrium has been derived in a previous paper. It was shown that the principle of detailed balance is equivalent to a set of conditions fulfilled by this potential (“potential conditions”). The properties of this potential allow us to extend the validity of a number of thermodynamic concepts well known for systems in or near thermal equilibrium to stationary states far from thermal equilibrium. The concept of symmetry breaking phase transitions for these systems is introduced in analogy to thermal equilibrium systems by considering the dependence of the stationary probability density of the system on a set of externally controlled parameters {λ}. A functional of the time dependent probability density of the system is defined in close analogy to the Gibb's definition of entropy. This functional has the properties of a Ljapunov functional of the governing Fokker-Planck equation showing the stability of the stationary probability density. The Langevin equations connected with the Fokker-Planck equation are considered. It is shown that, by means of the potential conditions, generalized “thermodynamic” fluxes and forces may be defined in such a way that the smoothly varying part of the Langevin equations (kinetic equations) constitutes a linear relation between fluxes and forces. The matrix of coefficients is given by the diffusion matrix of the Fokker-Planck equation. The symmetry relations which hold for this matrix due to the potential conditions then lead to the Onsager-Casimir symmetry relations extended to systems with detailed balance near stationary states far from thermal equilibrium. Finally it is shown that under certain additional assumptions the generalized thermodynamic potential may be used as a Ljapunov function of the kinetic equations.  相似文献

The aim of the present paper is to find a necessary and sufficient condition for the existence of the operator of the total number of particles in a representation of canonical commutation relations. The result is formulated by means of generating functionals of representations. It is shown that an irreducible representation possesses a (generalized) number operator if and only if the representation obtained by averaging its generating functional over the group of phase transformations is a factor representation of type I.  相似文献

The problem of the kinetic justification of the generalized thermodynamics of nonequilibrium processes using the method of moments for solving the kinetic equation for a multicomponent gas mixture is examined. Generalized expressions are obtained for the entropy density, entropy flux density, and entropy production as functions of an arbitrary number of state variables (moments of the distribution function). Different variants of writing the relations between fluxes and thermodynamic forces are considered, which correspond to the Onsager version for spatially homogeneous systems and, in a more general case, lead to the generalized thermodynamic forces of a complicated form, including derivatives of the fluxes with respect to time and spatial coordinates. Some consequences and new physical effects, following from the obtained equations, are analyzed. It is shown that a transition from results of the method of moments to expressions for the entropy production and the corresponding phenomenological relations of the generalized nonequilibrium thermodynamics is possible on the level of a linearized Barnett approximation of the Chapman–Enskog method.  相似文献

Using the density matrix method in the form developed by Zubarev, equations of motion for nonequilibrium quantum systems with continuous short range interactions are derived which describe kinetic and hydrodynamic processes in a consistent way. The T-matrix as well as the two-particle density matrix determining the nonequilibrium collision integral are obtained in the ladder approximation including the Hartree-Fock corrections and the Pauli blocking for intermediate states. It is shown that in this approximation the total energy is conserved. The developed approach to the kinetic theory of dense quantum systems is able to reproduce the virial corrections consistent with the generalized Beth-Uhlenbeck approximation in equilibrium. The contribution of many-particle correlations to the drift term in the quantum kinetic equation for dense systems is discussed.  相似文献

Using Zubarev's method of nonequilibrium statistical operator, the generalized hydrodynamic equations are obtained for a model of magnetic liquid in an inhomogeneous external field. In this model the “liquid” subsystem is treated as a classical one and the “magnetic” subsystem is described by quantum mechanical methods. The properties of the transport equations are analysed in the case of a weak nonequilibrium. The equations for time correlation functions and collective mode spectrum are also found in the same manner. It is shown that the generalized hydrodynamic equations reduce to the well-known results in the limiting cases when the dynamic variables of one subsystem are formally neglected. As an illustration, a simple model of spin relaxation is considered, and the frequency matrix and the matrix of memory functions are calculated. A comparison with previous works is made.  相似文献

A kinetic equation for the single particle distribution function in an open many-body system, when in far away from equilibrium conditions is derived in the context of a Non-Equilibrium Thermo-Statistics of ample scope. It consists of a generalization of traditional kinetic equations in that no restrictions are imposed on the characteristics of the nonequilibrium thermodynamic state of the system. This kinetic equation do contain some contributions that become relevant in systems with a nonlinear kinetics when driven sufficiently far from equilibrium (certain complex systems). Moreover, the handling of the kinetic equation in a multiple-moment approach provides a generalized nonlinear higher-order thermo-hydrodynamics.  相似文献

A link between memory effects in quantum kinetic equations and nonequilibrium correlations associated with the energy conservation is investigated. In order that the energy be conserved by an approximate collision integral, the one-particle distribution function and the mean interaction energy are treated as independent nonequilibrium state parameters. The density operator method is used to derive a kinetic equation in second-order non-Markovian Born approximation and an evolution equation for the nonequilibrium quasi-temperature which is thermodynamically conjugated to the mean interaction energy. The kinetic equation contains a correlation contribution which exactly cancels the collision term in thermal equilibrium and ensures the energy conservation in nonequilibrium states. Explicit expressions for the entropy production in the non-Markovian regime and the time-dependent correlation energy are obtained.  相似文献

Starting from classical Hamiltonian mechanics, we derive for the dynamics of gross variables in nonequilibrium systems exact nonlinear generalized Fokker-Planck and Langevin equations in which the effect of the initial preparation is taken into account explicitly. This latter concept allows for the construction of a uniquely determined projection operator. The memory functions occurring in the Langevin equations are related to the random forces by a fluctuation-dissipation theorem of the second kind. We discuss the connection with the generalized Fokker-Planck equation. The known results for equilibrium fluctuations are recovered as a special case.Supported in part by the National Science Foundation, Grant CHE78-21460.  相似文献

The nonequilibrium macroscopic state of a polar semiconductor under constant laser illumination is studied. The values of the relevant steady-state thermodynamic parameters are determined. They are the solutions of generalized transport equations derived using the nonequilibrium statistical operator method. Numerical results are obtained for the case of GaAs.  相似文献
