We consider a relaxed optimal control problem for systems defined by nonlinear parabolic partial differential equations with distributed control. The problem is completely discretized by using a finite-element approximation scheme with piecewise linear states and piecewise constant controls. Existence of optimal controls and necessary conditions for optimality are derived for both the continuous and the discrete problem. We then prove that accumulation points of sequences of discrete optimal [resp. extremal] controls are optimal [resp. extremal] for the continuous problem.  相似文献

The aim of this paper is to show the existence and uniqueness of a solution for a system of time-delayed parabolic equations with coupled nonlinear boundary conditions. The time delays are of discrete type which may appear in the reaction function as well as in the boundary function. The approach to the problem is by the method of upper and lower solutions for nonquasimonotone functions.

A linearized three‐level difference scheme on nonuniform meshes is derived by the method of the reduction of order for the Neumann boundary value problem of a nonlinear parabolic system. In this study, we consider a coefficient problem of a quasi-linear two-dimensional parabolic inverse problem with periodic boundary and integral over determination conditions. We prove the existence, uniqueness and continuously dependence upon the data of the solution by iteration method. Using the upper and lower solution techniques and Hopf's maximum principle, the sufficient conditions for the existence of blow-up positive solution and global positive solution are obtained for a class of quasilinear parabolic equations subject to Neumann boundary conditions. This paper concerns with blow-up behaviors for semilinear parabolic systems coupled in equations and boundary conditions in half space. We establish the rate estimates for blow-up solutions and prove that the blow-up set is under proper conditions on initial data. We study asymptotics as t → ∞ of solutions to a linear, parabolic system of equations with time‐dependent coefficients in Ω × (0, ∞), where Ω is a bounded domain. On ? Ω × (0, ∞) we prescribe the homogeneous Dirichlet boundary condition. For large values of t, the coefficients in the elliptic part are close to time‐independent coefficients in an integral sense which is described by a certain function κ (t). This includes in particular situations when the coefficients may take different values on different parts of Ω and the boundaries between them can move with t but stabilize as t → ∞. The main result is an asymptotic representation of solutions for large t. As a corollary, it is proved that if κL1(0, ∞), then the solution behaves asymptotically as the solution to a parabolic system with time‐independent coefficients (© 2009 WILEY‐VCH Verlag GmbH & Co.
