NiII mixed-ligand complexes of compositions [Ni(pmdien)(ttcH)] (1), [Ni(baphen)2(ttcH)] · 4H2O (2), [Ni-(dpa)(ttcH)(H2O)] (3), [Ni(cyclam)(ttcH)] · 2H2O (4), [Ni(hexaa)](ttcH) (5) and [Ni(hexab)(ttcH)] · 2H2O (6), (baphen = 4,7-diphenyl-1,10-phenanthroline, dpa = 2,2-dipyridylamine, cyclam = 1,4,8,11-tetraazacyclotetradecane, hexaa = 1,3,6,9,11,14-hexaazatricyclo[12.2.1.16,9]-octadecane, hexab = 1,8-dimethyl-1,3,6,8,10,13-hexaazacyclotetradecane) have been prepared and characterized by means of i.r., u.v.–vis. spectroscopies and magnetochemical measurements. The redox properties of the complexes were studied by cyclic voltammetry. The crystal and molecular structure of [Ni(pmdien)(ttcH)] was determined. The nickel atom is penta-coordinated by three N atoms of pmdien, and by S and N atoms of trithiocyanurate(2–) anion.  相似文献

New homopolynuclear nickel(II) xanthate complexes with nitrogen donor heterocycles as bridging ligands have been prepared, namely [Ni(Rxa)2(-L)]n and [Ni2(Rxa)4(-L1)], where R=i-Pr,i-Am; xa=OCS2– L=1,2-bis(4- pyridyl)ethane (bpe), 4,4-dithiodipyridyl (dtp), 1,2-bis(4- pyridyl)ethylene (dpe), 4,4-trimethylene-dipyridine (tmd); L1=2,3-bis(2-pyridyl)pyrazine (bpp), 2,4-bis(5,6- diphenyl-1,2,4-triazine-3-yl)pyridine (bdt), or 2,4,6-tris(2- pyridyl)-1,3,5-triazine (tpt). The compounds have been characterized by elemental analyses, i.r. and electronic spectroscopies, magnetochemical and conductivity measurements. The results show that the [Ni(Rxa)2(-L)]n complexes are linear polymers in which the nitrogen heterocycles bridge between the nickel(II) ions, which are coordinated by four sulfur and two nitrogen atoms and have trans-octahedral geometry. The nearly constant values of the effective magnetic moment (3.36–3.34 eff/B) over the 77–295 K temperature range indicate that exchange interactions are lacking among the paramagnetic centres in the linear structure, [Ni(i-Amxa)2(dpe)]n. The variable- temperature magnetic susceptibilities of the [Ni2(i-Prxa)4(bpp)] (3.00–2.95eff/B per Ni atom), [Ni2(i-Prxa)4(bdt)] (2.72–2.63 eff/B per Ni atom), and [Ni2(i-Amxa)4(tpt)] (2.76–1.87 eff/B per Ni atom) were measured down to liquid nitrogen temperature. In the case of binuclear nickel(II) complexes with bdt or tpt, antiferromagnetic coupling between the nickel(II) ions was detected, giving the exchange integral J=–4.0cm–1 and –29.6cm–1, respectively.  相似文献

Six new -oxamido heterobinuclear complexes, namely [Cu(oxap)Fe(L)2]SO4, where oxap denotes the N,N-bis(2-aminopropyl)oxamido dianion and L represents 1,10-phenanthroline (phen); 5-nitro-1,10-phenanthroline (NO2-phen); 5-chloro-1,10-phenanthroline (Cl-phen); 5-methyl-1,10-phenanthroline (Me-phen); 2,2-bipyridine (bpy); and 4,4-dimethyl-2,2-bipyridine (Me2bpy), have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analyses, i.r. spectra, electronic spectra, magnetic moments (at room temperature) and molar conductivity measurements. The temperature dependent magnetic susceptibilities of [Cu(oxap)Fe(bpy)2]SO4 (1) and [Cu(oxap)Fe(phen)2]SO4 (2) have been studied in the 4.2–300K range, giving the exchange integrals J=–20.9cm–1 for (1) and J=–22.5cm–1 for (2). These results are commensurate with antiferromagnetic interactions between adjacent metal ions within each molecule.  相似文献

Summary Vanadium(III) chloride reacts with 1,10-phenanthroline and 2,2-bipyridyl, and with substituted derivatives of each ligand (B), in ethanol or in acetonitrile as solvent (L), to yield two different series of complexes. These are (a) the neutral species VCl3BL, where B = 1,10-phenanthroline, 5-chloro-1,10-phenanthroline, 5-methyl-1,10-phenanthroline, 4,7-dimethyl-1,10-phenanthroline, 2,2-bipyridyl, 4,4-dimethyl-2,2-bipyridyl, L = ethanol. The complexes in which B = 1,10-phenanthroline or 2,2-bipyridyl were also obtained with L = acetonitrile, (b) [VCl2B2]+[VCl4B] where B is the same series of ligands listed above. Vanadium(III) chloride yields VCl3 (terpy) with 2,2,2 -terpyridyl. All the complexes have been characterised by elemental analyses, conductance measurements, electronic- and i.r. spectral measurements, and by their temperature-range (297–77 K) magnetic moments; ring substituents have little influence on any chemical or physical properties of these complexes.  相似文献

Four new NiII–NiII–NiII homotrinuclear complexes namely [Ni(-BD)2{NiL2}](ClO4)2 [L = 1,10-phenanthroline (phen), 5-nitro-1,10-phenanthroline (5-NO2-phen), 2,2-bipyridyl (bpy) or 4,4-dimethyl-2,2bipyridyl (Me2bpy) and (-BD)– = -benzyldioximato ion] have been prepared and characterized. Based on elemental analyses, i.r. spectra, conductivity measurements, extended -benzyldioximato-bridged systems consisting of three nickel(II) ions in which the central nickel(II) ion has a square-planar environment and the end capped two nickel(II) ions have a distorted octahedral environment are proposed for these structures. The temperature dependence of the magnetic susceptibility for complexes (1) (phen), (2) (5-NO2-phen), (3) (bpy) and (4) (Me2bpy) were measured over the 77–300 K range and the observed data were successfully simulated by an equation based on the spin Hamiltonian operator (H^ = –2JS^1S^2), giving the exchange integral J = –13.31 cm–1 for (1), J = –7.37 cm–1 for (2), J = –8.96 cm–1 for (3) and J = –7.33 cm–1 for (4) These results indicate a weak antiferromagnetic spin exchange interaction between the two terminal nickel(II) io  相似文献

A series of NiII complexes with the O,O-di-isoamylester of dithiophosphoric acid and nitrogen-donor ligands of composition [Ni(i-Am2dtp)2(L)]; [dtp = O2PS2 ; L = 2,2-bipyridine (bpy); 1,10-phenanthroline (phen); 5-nitro-1,10-phenanthroline (nphen); 4,7-diphenyl-1,10-phenanthroline (baphen); 2,9-dimethyl-1,10-phenanthroline (neo), 2-aminomethylpyridine (amp), 2-(2-aminoethyl)pyridine (aep), 2,2-dipiridylamine (dpa), 1,2-diaminopropane (1,2-dap) or trans 1,2-diaminocyclohexane (dch)] have been prepared. The compounds have been characterized by elemental analyses (C,H,N,S), electronic and i.r. spectroscopy, magnetic and conductivity measurements and by cyclic voltammetry. The results show that all complexes behave as non-electrolytes in acetone. Electronic spectra and magnetic moments suggest a distorted cis-octahedral geometry around the NiII atom [eff/B <3.10, 3.40 >], except for [Ni(i-Am2dtp)2(aep)], where the measured temperature dependence of the magnetic susceptibility proved the tetrahedrally coordinated nickel [4.06 eff/B (298 K) – 3.20 eff/B (80 K)]. In the [Ni(i-Am2dtp)2(neo)] complex, the nickel atom is penta-coordinated. The X-ray crystal and molecular structure of [Ni(i-Am2dtp)2(1,2-dap)] has been determined.  相似文献

New mixed polypyridyl {HPIP = 2-(2-hydroxyphenyl)imidazo[4,5-f][1,10]phenanthroline, phen = 1,10-phenanthroline, dmp = 2,9-dimethyl-1,10-phenanthroline, dmb = 4,4-dimethyl-2,2-bipyridine} ruthenium(II) complexes [Ru(phen)2(HPIP)]2+, [Ru(dmp)2(HPIP)]2+ and [Ru(dmb)2(HPIP)]2+ were synthesized and characterized by elemental analyses 1H-n.m.r., u.v.–vis. spectroscopy and cyclic voltammetry. Their DNA-binding properties were demonstrated by absorption, luminescence titrations, steady-state emission quenching and viscosity measurements. The results suggested that all the examined complexes bind with CT-DNA intercalatively. Methyl groups substituted at the 4,4-positions of bpy has no obvious effect on its DNA binding, whereas substituents at the 2- and 9-positions of phen have an impressive effect on its DNA-binding, as revealed by the decreased binding affinity.  相似文献

Based on i.r. spectra, elemental analyses, conductivity measurements, extended tetrachlorophthalato-bridged structures consisting of two manganese(II) ions in which each manganese(II) ion has a distorted octahedral environment are proposed for these structures. The temperature dependence of the magnetic susceptibility for [Mn2(TCPHTA)(phen)4]-(ClO4)2·H2O was measured over the 4–300 K range and the observed data were successfully simulated by an equation based on the spin Hamiltonian operator ( = –2J 1· 2), giving the exchange integralJ = –1.05 cm–1. Based on i.r., elemental analyses, conductivity measurements and electronic spectra oxamato-bridged structures are proposed for these complexes, consisting of two nickel(II) ions, each in a distorted octahedral environment, and a copper(II) ion in a square planar environment, respectively. The temperature dependence of the magnetic susceptibility of {[Ni(phen)2]2[Cu(pba)]}(ClO4)2·H2O was studied in the 4–300 K range, giving the exchange integral J = - 106 cm–1. TheX scm T versusT plot exhibited a minimum at ca. 98 K, characteristic of this kind of coupled polymetallic complex with an irregular spin-state structure. E.s.r. spectra of these complexes clearly indicated a strong rhombicity withg 1 = 5.20,g 2 = 2.29 andg 3 = 2.02 (approximately), which agrees with an anisotropicS = ±1/2 Kramer doublet in the ground state.  相似文献

Six new binuclear nickel (II) complexes have been synth-esized and characterized, namely: [Ni2(4X-TP-HA)(L)4](ClO4)2 [L = 1,10-phenanthroline (phen), 5-nitro-1,10-phenanthroline (NO2-phen) or 2,2-bipyridyl (bipy)], where 4X-TPHA is the tetrabromoterephthalate dianion (X = Br) or the tetraiodoterephthalate dianion (X = I). Based on i.r. spectra, elemental analyses and conductivity measurements, these complexes are proposed to have terephthalato-bridged structures containing two NiII ions, each in a distorted octahedral environment. The temperature dependences of the magnetic susceptibility for [Ni2(4Br-TPHA)(phen)4]- (ClO4)2·H2O (1) and [Ni2(4I-TPHA)(phen)4]-(ClO4)2·- 2H2O (4) were measured over the 4–300K range and the observed data indicate weak antiferromagnetic spin exchange interaction between the metal ions.  相似文献

Summary Mössbauer parameters for hexacoordinate iron(II) complexes of the type [Fe(N-N)n(CNMe)m](ClO4)2 (m = 6, 4, 2 or 0; n = 0, 1, 2 or 3; N–N = 2, -bipyridine or 1,10-phenanthroline) have been determined. Treatment by a point-charge model including distortions has been carried out in order to rationalize the quadrupole splittings. Summary A perchlorate ion-selective electrode using tris-bathophenanthroline ferrous salt in a polyvinylchloride matrix was investigated. The electrode was tested in terms of the measuring range, average slope, resistance, asymmetric potential, reproducibility, stability and of the selectivity for ClO 4 ion over BF 4 , I, NO 3 , NO 2 , Br, BrO 3 , Cl, and SO 4 2– ions. Molar solubilities of potassium perchlorate, tris-2,2-bipyridine ferrous perchlorate, tris-1,10-phenanthroline ferrous perchlorate and tris-5,6-dimethyl-1,10-phenanthroline ferrous perchlorate were calculated from the direct potentiometric perchlorate determinations.

Zusammenfassung Die Elektrode wurde in bezug auf folgende Größen getestet: Meßbereich, durchschnittliche Steilheit, Widerstand, asymmetrisches Potential, Reproduzierbarkeit, Stabilität, Selektivität für Perchlorat gegenüber BF 4 , J, NO 3 , NO 2 , Br, BrO 3 , Cl, SO 4 2– . Die molaren Löslichkeiten von Kaliumperchlorat, Tris-1,10-phenanthrolin-eisen(II)-perchlorat, Tris-5,6-dimethyl-1,10-phenanthrolin-eisen(II)-perchlorat und Tris-2,2-bipyridyl-eisen(II)-perchlorat wurden aus direkten potentiometrischen Perchloratbestimmungen berechnet.

Single crystal X-ray analysis of [Ni(tren)(phen)](ClO4)2 (1) and [Ni(SAA)(PMDT)] · 2H2O (3) has revealed the presence of a distorted octahedral geometry. A procedure has been developed for the synthesis of complexes of nickel(II), cobalt(II), and chromium(III) with 2,2-dipyridyl and 1,10-phenanthroline. On the basis of data obtained by elemental analysis, DTA, IR and UV spectroscopy, and magnetochemistry, it has been established that the coordination unit for these compounds has an octahedral structure, and splitting parameters have been calculated in the approximation of Oh symmetry. Summary A series of hexacoordinated RhIII complexes of general formula trans-[RhCl2(allyl)(N-N)] (allyl = C3H5 or C4H7; N- = 1,10-phenanthroline, 2,9-dimethyl-1,10-phenanthroline, 4,7-diphenyl-1,10-phenanthroline, 2,2-bipyridine or 4,4-dimethyl-2,2-bipyridine) have been synthesized and characterized by spectroscopic methods. The complexes have an octahedral geometry with the Cl ligands coordinated in the trans positions. Summary The 4-(2-thiazolyl)thiosemicarbazide HTTSC, reacts with metal ions to yield two types of complex M(HTTSC)2 Cl2 [M=cobalt(II), nickel(II) copper(II), cadmium(II), or mercury(II)] and [M(TTSC)2] [M=cobalt(II), nickel(II) or copper(II)]. These complexes have been characterized by elemental analyses and studied by magnetic and spectroscopic techniques. Tetrahedral coordination around cadmium(II) and mercury(II), square planar geometry around cobalt(II) and nickel(II) in [Co(TTSC)2] and [Ni(HTTSC)2]Cl2, respectively, and octahedral stereochemistry for the remaining complexes is proposed.  相似文献

Two new Ruthenium (II) polypyridyl complexes [Ru(dmp)2(ipbp)](ClO4)2 (1) (dmp = 2,9-dimethyl-1,10-phenanthroline, ipbp = 3-(1H-imidazo[4,5-f][1,10]phenanthrolin-2-yl)-4H-1-banzopyran-2-one) and [Ru(dmb)2(ipbp)](ClO4)2 (2) (dmb = 4,4′-dimethyl-2,2′-bipyridine) have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, FAB-MS, ES-MS and 1H NMR and cyclic voltammetric methods. The DNA-binding behaviors of these complexes were investigated by spectroscopic titration, viscosity measurements, and thermal denaturation. Absorption titration and thermal denaturation studies reveal that these complexes are moderately strong binders of calf thymus DNA (CT-DNA). Viscosity measurements show that the complexes 1 and 2 interact with CT-DNA by intercalative mode. The DNA-binding affinity of the complex 2 is larger than that of complex 1.  相似文献

Four new heterotrinuclear complexes have been prepared and characterized, namely {[Co(L)2]2[Cu (opba)]}(ClO4)2, where opba=o-phenylenebis(oxamato) and L=1,10-phenanthroline (phen), 5-nitro-1,10-phenanthroline (NO2-phen), 2,2-bipyridyl (bpy) and 4,4-dimethyl-2,2-bipyridyl (Me2bpy). The temperature dependence of the magnetic susceptibility of {[Co(phen)2]2[Cu(opba)]}(ClO4)2 has been studied in the 4–300K range, the MT versus T plot exhibits a minimum at ca. 131K, but abnormal magnetic behaviour below 83K.  相似文献
