A miniature tunable TEA CO2 laser using isotope 13C16O2 as the active medium is developed to extend the spectral range of CO2 lasers for further application. The optimization of the energy parameters of the tunable TEA 13C16O2 laser and the same laser using 12C16O2 are studied. When a gas mixture (13C16O2: N2: He = 1: 1: 3) at a total pressure of 6.4 × 104 Pa is used, the TEA 13C16O2 laser of a 45-cm3 active volume obtains 51 emission lines in the [0001–1000] and [0001–0200] bands. The maximum pulse energy of the TEA 13C16O2 laser is about 357 mJ. The same laser using the conventional gas mixture (12C16O2: N2: He = 1: 1: 3) at a pressure of 6.66 × 104 Pa is measured to obtain 69 laser emission lines and the maximum pulse energy of laser radiation is about 409 mJ. 相似文献

state of Ag2O2
- has a short lifetime of 130 fs±70 fs only and decays by direct photodesorption of O2. The data demonstrate the ability of time-resolved photoelectron spectroscopy (TR-PES) to observe the breaking of chemical
bonds if the decay process of the excited state is direct (non-thermal desorption). The data are compared to recent results
of a NeNePo experiment [1] on the same system.

The decay path of an Ag8(O2)- cluster photoexcited by a 3.1 eV photon is elucidated using time-resolved photoelectron spectroscopy. Photoabsorption results
in the formation of an excited state giving rise to a peak in the photoelectron spectra with well-resolved vibrational finestructure.
With a lifetime of about 100 fs this bound state decays into an anti-bonding state which dissociates into O2 and Ag8- on a timescale of 10 ps. In the photoelectron spectra, this corresponds to a broad maximum shifting gradually towards higher
binding energy while the O2 and Ag8- separate. Finally, the spectrum of bare Ag8- appears. This process is unique to small clusters, because on metal surfaces excited state lifetimes are too short to allow

In this paper we study the possibility of using the synthesized nanopowder samples of Gd2Zr2O7:Eu3+ for temperature measurements by analyzing the temperature effects on its photoluminescence. The nanopowder was prepared by solution combustion synthesis method. The photoluminescence spectra used for analysis of Gd2Zr2O7:Eu3+ nano phosphor optical emission temperature dependence were acquired using continuous laser diode excitation at 405 nm. The temperature dependencies of line emission intensities of transitions from 5D0 and 5D1 energy levels to the ground state were analyzed. Based on this analysis we use the two lines intensity ratio method for temperature sensing. Our results show that the synthesized material can be efficiently used as thermographic phosphor up to 650 K. 相似文献

The composition and magnetic properties of the powders extracted from CoFe2O4 aqueous suspensions and the CoFe2O4/PVA (PVA is polyvinyl alcohol) nanocomposites with a cobalt ferrite content of 10–30 wt % have been investigated using Mössbauer spectroscopy, transmission electron microscopy, and vibration magnetometry. The cationic formulas of the cobalt ferrites synthesized have been determined. The differences between samples synthesized at temperatures of 72.5 and 82.5°C have been revealed. The specific features of the observed changes in the agglomeration of CoFe2O4 particles after introducing into the PVA matrix have been studied. It has been shown that the iron ion distribution determined by Mössbauer spectroscopy in octahedral and tetrahedral lattice sites correlates with vibration magnetometry data. 相似文献

This paper reports on the spectroscopic properties and energy transfer analysis of Tm3+-doped BaF2-Ga2O3-GeO2-La2O3 glasses with different Tm2O3 doping concentrations (0.2, 0.5, 2.0, 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, 3.5, 4.0 wt%). Mid-IR fluorescence intensities in the range of 1,300 nm−2,200 nm
have been measured when excited under an 808 nm LD for all the samples with the same pump power. Energy level structure and
Judd-Ofelt parameters have been calculated based on the absorption spectra of Tm3+, cross-relaxation rates and multi-phonon relaxation rates have been estimated with different Tm2O3 doping concentrations. The maximum fluorescence intensity at around 1.8 μm has been obtained in Tm2O3-3 wt% sample and the maximum value of calculated stimulated emission cross-section of Tm3+ in this sample is about 0.48 × 10−20 cm2 at 1,793 nm, and there is not any crystallization peak in the DSC curve of this sample, which indicate the potential utility

in the framework of a phenomenological model when the Co2+ ions are described as three sets of linear dipoles oriented along the crystallographic axes. Ground-state and excited state

The EPR spectra for VO2+ in CaO-Al2O3-SiO2 system are calculated using complete diagonalization method (CDM) and perturbation theory method (PTM). The calculated results are in good agreement with the observed values. By comparing the calculated results by CDM and PTM in a wide range of crystal field parameters, the validity of the PTM formulas has been studied. The absorption spectra, fluorescence spectrum and fluorescence decay curve of Nd3+ ions in CaNb2O6 crystal were measured at room temperature. The peak absorption cross section was calculated to be 6.202×10−20 cm2 with a broad FWHM of 7 nm at 808 nm for E//a light polarization. A lithium yttrium diphosphate LiYP2O7 was prepared by a solid-state reaction method. Rietveld refinement of the X-ray diffraction pattern suggests the formation of the single phase desired compound with monoclinic structure at room temperature. The infrared and Raman spectrum of this compound was interpreted on the basis of P2O7 4? vibrations. The AC conductivity was measured in the frequency range from 100 to 106 Hz and temperatures between 473 and 673 K using impedance spectroscopy technique. The obtained results were analyzed by fitting the experimental data to the equivalent circuit model. The Cole–Cole diagram determined complex impedance for different temperatures. The angular frequency dependence of the AC conductivity is found to obey Jonscher’s relation. The temperature dependence of σ AC could be described in terms of Arrhenius relation with two activation energies, 0.87 eV in region I and 1.36 eV in region II. The study of temperature variation of the exponent(s) reveals two conduction models: the AC conduction dependence upon temperature is governed by the correlated barrier hopping (CBH) model in region I (T < 540 K) and non-overlapping small polaron tunneling (NSPT) model in region II (T > 540 K). The near value of activation energies obtained from the equivalent circuit and DC conductivity confirms that the transport is through ion hopping mechanism dominated by the motion of the Li+ ion in the structure of the investigated material. 相似文献

Spectral and kinetic characteristics of the luminescence and luminescence excitation spectra of polycrystalline SrB4O7:Pr (1%) and SrB6O10:Pr (1%) samples are studied at 150–170 K. The samples show an intense luminescence band in the vicinity of 405 nm (1 S 0→1 I 6 transitions of Pr3+) and shorter wavelength bands also assigned to transitions from the 1 S 0 level. The main luminescence decay constant is ~2×10?7 s. The excitation spectra of the 1 S 0 luminescence in these crystals are significantly different. The SrB4O7:Pr crystal shows three well-resolved bands at 6.14, 6.55, and 6.91 eV in the region of the 4f 2→4f 15d transitions and a complex structure in the region of interband transitions (7.1–20 eV), whereas the SrB6O10:Pr crystal shows a weakly structured band at 6.31 eV and no excitation in the region of the interband transitions. The physical mechanisms that may be responsible for the observed features of the spectra are discussed. 相似文献

The luminescent properties of Eu3+ and Eu2+ ions in sodium pyrophosphate, Na4P2O7, have been studied. The excitation spectrum of the Eu3+ emission in Na4P2O7 consists of several sets of bands in the range 280–535 nm due to 4f–4f transitions of Eu3+ ions and a broad band with a maximum at about 240 nm interpreted to be due to a charge transfer (CT) transition from oxygen
2p states to empty states of the Eu3+ 4f6-configuration. Although the CT band energy is large enough, the quantum efficiency (η) of the Eu3+ emission in Na4P2O7 under CT excitation was estimated to be very low (η ≤ 0.01). In terms of a configurational coordinate model, this fact is
interpreted as a result of the high efficiency of a radiationless relaxation from the CT state to the 7F0 ground state of Eu3+ ions occupying sodium sites in Na4P2O7. A strong reducing agent is required in order to stabilize Eu2+ ions in Na4P2O7 during the synthesis. Several nonequivalent Eu2+ luminescence centers in Na4P2O7 were found. 相似文献

The dependence of the structural reorganization of Eu3+ optical centers in Al2O3-Eu2O3-BiOF films on the annealing temperature has been investigated. It is shown by the methods of crystal field theory and computer simulation that the increase in the annealing temperature from 700 to 1100 °C leads to removal of bismuth from Eu-O-Bi complex centers with the C 3V symmetry in the Al2O3 structure and the change in symmetry from D 3 to O h for a large fraction of EuAlO3 centers. 相似文献

The kinetics of luminescence of Eu3+ ions in Lu2O3:Eu nanospheres with diameters of 100–270 nm and a small standard deviation of the size distribution <15% has been studied. A sharp decrease in the decay time of luminescence of Eu3+ ions in the red range with an increase in the diameter of nanospheres has been attributed to the appearance of a photon mode accelerating spontaneous luminescence, which is confirmed by the calculation of ranges of existence of whispering-gallery modes in studied nanospheres. 相似文献

Taking the onset of photocurrent to be at 320 nm, the ground state of Pr3+ is determined at 1.7 eV above the valence band of the host.
