The fuzzy symmetries of two kinds of linear polyacene molecules are probed into in the paper. In these molecules, any one of the benzene rings abreast connects at most other two rings in two ways: either its two opposite C–C bonds combine with two other rings, respectively, or its two meta-position C–C bonds connect two rings in cis- and trans-form, respectively. The former is called p-polyacenes (or straight polyacenes), and the latter is m-polyacenes (or kinked ones). It can be thought as the planar molecule with approximate one-dimensional space periodic transformation (parallel translation) symmetry, namely, group G12{{\rm G}_{1}^{2}} symmetry, when the number of its benzene ring is very large; on the other hand, it can be considered as the fuzzy group G12{{\rm G}_{1}^{2}} symmetry, if the benzene ring number is not large enough. The p-polyacene and m-polyacene with 20 benzene rings are analyzed as typical examples, and the energies of the π-molecular orbital (MO) and the fuzzy symmetry characters related to the space symmetry transformations are carefully examined. Moreover, the π-MOs of the p-polyacenes and m-polyacenes with different numbers of benzene ring are investigated to obtain the related rules.  相似文献

Polyhydroxyalkanoates (PHAs) are polyesters of hydroxyalkanoates synthesized by numerous bacteria as intracellular carbon and energy storage compounds and accumulated as granules in the cytoplasm of cells. In this work, we constructed two recombinant plasmids, pBE2C1, and pBE2C1AB, containing one or two PHA synthse, genes, respectively. The two plasmids were inserted into Bacillus subtilis DB104 to generate modified strains, B. subtilis/pBE2C1 and B. subtilis/pBE2C1AB. The two recombinants strains were subjected to fermentation and showed PHA accumulation, the first reported example of mcl-PHA production in B. subtilis. Gas Chromatography analysis identified the compound produced by B. subtilis/pBE2C1 to be a hydroxydecanoate-co-hydroxydodecanoate (HD-co-HDD) polymer whereas that produced by B. subtilis/pBE2C1AB was a hydroxybutyrate-co-hydroxyde-canoate-co-hydroxydodecanoate (HB-HD-HDD) polymer.  相似文献

By using substituent constants and regression analysis, an analysis has been made of the binding of derivatives of aniline and acetanilide to nylon and rayon, the experimental data of Ward and Upchurch being used. The amount of organic compounds bound from an aqueous solution by these two types of synthetic macromolecules is shown to be related to the octanol–water partition coefficients P. In the case of the aniline derivatives, where the basicity of the compounds varied considerably, a good model describing binding results from the linear combination of the two parameters related to free energy, i.e., log P and ΔpKa. The latter term is the difference between pKa for aniline and a particular derivative. For the neutral acetanilides a simple linear free-energy relation between log P and log K is found. Of special note is the fact that the dependence of binding of these two classes of compounds to two classes of synthetic macromolecules as indicated by the coefficient with the log P term very closely parallels that found for a variety of biopolymers. The mechanism of hydrophobic binding seems to be the same in both the synthetic and natural polymers.  相似文献

New simplified syntheses of two natural p-diquinonic pigments, phoenicine and oosporeine, have been described. By similar procedures, the syntheses of two other related diquinones have been carried out: 3,3′,6,6′-tetrahydroxy-biphenyl-di-p,p′-quinone and 3,3′,6,6′-tetrahydroxy-4-methyl-biphenyl-di-p,p′-quinone. The latter structure had been assigned to pyxiferine, which had been reported to be contained in the lichen Pyxine coccifera.  相似文献

A capillary zone electrophoresis (CZE) method has been developed for simultaneous assay of two bioactive components (p-tyrosol and salidroside) in Rhodiola crenulata and Rhodiola kirilowii for the first time. Those analytes were successfully separated within 15 min using 50 mmol L–1 (pH 9.62) borate containing 30% methanol as running buffer. Regression equations revealed linear relationships (correlation coefficients 0.9998–0.9999) between peak area and concentration of the two analytes. The relative standard deviations (RSD) of the migration times and the peak areas of two constituents ranged from 0.51 to 0.57% and from 0.65 to 1.17%, respectively, intra-day, and from 4.91 to 6.93% and from 3.51 to 5.33%, respectively, inter-day. The recoveries of two constituents ranged from 96.24 to 103.15%.  相似文献

A method is proposed whereby the orders and rate constants for processes obeying the rate law ?dA/dt = kAn may be determined. The method is illustrated in two ways. First, simulated data for processes of various orders are treated, and the treatment is shown to be capable of reproducing orders and rate constants to a high degree of accuracy. The factors affecting the accuracy with which n and k can be determined are considered. These are inaccuracy in the determination of concentration values, irregularity of the time intevals between concentration determinations, and the length of those time intervals. It is shown that if concentrations are determined at times that are close together, the effect of the other two factors is small, but if the time intervals are made longer, the errors due to the other two factors affect the calculated values of n and k much more seriously. Second, the method was applied to two homogeneous reactions, of which one was first-order and one was second order, and three heterogeneous reactions, of which one was found by the original workers to be first order, one to be zero order, and one to vary between zero and first order, depending on the initial pressure. The present method gives results in agreement with these conclusions and reproduces the rate constants to within ±5% in all cases.  相似文献

The potential surface of 1,2-dimethylcyclobutane is investigated with respect to fragmentation and isomerization by the semiempirical MO method SINDO1. Energy and geometry of eight transition states and four intermediates are determined for the nonconcerted fragmentations under optimization of all internal coordinates. We find that symmetric cleavage ofcis-dimethylcyclobutane is the most favored process leading to fragmentation. Whereas the symmetric elimination involves two different barrier heights, the asymmetric elimination involves only two equal barrier heights. The possibility of isomerization ofcis- totrans- dimethylcyclobutane was also studied and revealed two different barrier heights lower than the corresponding heights for fragmentation.  相似文献

A novel type of calixsugars, containing sugar moieties at the methine bridges of the calixarene is introduced. These calixsugars were prepared via a nonconvergent stepwise fragment condensation. Four new stereogenic centers were formed simultaneously, and only one diastereoisomer 5 was isolated. The condensation procedure is remarkably mild allowing for a large diversity of labile groups to be used. The solution structure of calixarene 5 with two D ‐glucose and two hexyl moieties was determined by NMR spectroscopy by means of NOEs and coupling constants for molecular dynamics (MD). Chemical shifts were used to validate the conformation with the least NOE and J violations. The structure of calixsugar 5 has the configuration rctc referring to one sugar residue (r=reference, c=cis, t=trans) and adopts a diamond conformation for the macrocyclic backbone with the two sugar moieties axial on opposite sides of the macrocyclic ring and the two hexyl groups on the same side.  相似文献

We report the rotational spectra of two conformers of the acetic acid–difluoroacetic acid adduct (CH3COOH–CHF2COOH) and supply information on its internal dynamics. The two conformers differ from each other, depending on the trans or gauche orientation of the terminal ?CHF2 group. Both conformers display splittings of the rotational transitions, due to the internal rotation of the methyl group of acetic acid. The corresponding barriers are determined to be V3(trans)=99.8(3) and V3(gauche)=90.5(9) cm?1 (where V3 is the methyl rotation barrier height). The gauche form displays a further doubling of the rotational transitions, due to the tunneling motion of the ?CHF2 group between its two equivalent conformations. The corresponding B2 barrier is estimated to be 108(2) cm?1. The increase in the distance between the two monomers upon OH→OD deuteration (the Ubbelohde effect) is determined.  相似文献

Carbon 1s (C1s) core-level positions have been calculated for two model compounds which are similar in structure to the PMDA part of the PMDA-ODA monomer of polyimide. It is found that either one or two N-phenyl imide groups fused to a benzene ring will lower the C1s energy levels of the benzene ring. The difference in previous interpretation of the origin of the C1s (ESCA) spectra between the two model compounds examined is shown to be consistent with the difference in calculated magnitude of this shift between the two compounds.  相似文献

The odor of (3S)-3,7-dimethyloctanal, a chain-type odorant, has some resemblance to that of ethyl (1 R, 6S)-2,2,6-trimethylcyclohexane-1-carboxylate, a ring-type odorant. We investigated the ring-like conformers of (3S)-3,7-dimethyloctanal. Two approaches, (i) systematic conformational analysis and (ii) construction of the initial structure by referring to the structure of the ring-type odorant, were considered in the search for ring-like conformers of the chain-type odorant. As a result, it was found that two stable ring-like conformers of (3S)-3,7-dimethyloctanal, obtained from the two approaches, resembled conformers of ethyl (1R, 6S)-2,2,6-trimethylcyclohexane-1-carboxylate in their three-dimensional structural features. The shapes of the two ring-like ones were not exactly the same but were quite similar. Therefore, the two ring-like conformers were considered to approximate the olfactoryly active conformer that binds and stimulates the same odor receptor as that for ethyl (1R,6S)-2,2,6-trimethylcyclohexane-1-carboxylate. In addition, ring-like conformers of another chain-type odorant, 2-methylpent-2-enal, were investigated to check the validity of the calculation method used.  相似文献

Multiply-connected monolayered cyclofusene (MMC) is a fused hexacyclic system with an exterior region and at least two interior empty regions called holes, as in figure 1. Each hexacyle has either: (a) two edges belonging to an exterior boundary and at least one hole, or (b) two edges belonging to boundaries of at least two holes. Let G be the graph of a given MMC. Fly agaric accumulate vanadium in the form of amavadin, whose structure has been elucidated (see picture for the crystal structure). Amavadin contains one VIV center coordinated to two (S,S)-hidpa3− ligands (H3hidpa=2,2′-(hydroxyimino)dipropionic acid) through one η2-NO group and two unidentate carboxylato groups from each ligand. The arrangement of the two η2-NO groups leads to a chiral vanadium center, which has been characterized in both the Λ and Δ forms. The carboxylato groups of the amavadin anions bind cations, for example, Ca2+ ions, and/or become involved in hydrogen bonding.  相似文献

Collision induced dissociation tandem mass spectrometry experiments were performed to unequivocally separate compounds from an isobaric mixture of two products. The Survival Yield curve was obtained and is shown to consist in a linear combination of the curves corresponding to the two components separately. For such a mixture, a plateau appears on the diagram in lieu of the continuous decrease expected allowing for the structural study of the two components separately. The width of the plateau critically relates to the fragmentation parameters of the two molecular ions, which need to be sufficiently different structurally for the plateau to be observed. However, at constant fragmentation parameters, we have observed the width significantly increases at large m/z. This makes the separation more and more efficient as isobars have larger m/z and the technique complementary to those applicable at low m/z only. We have observed that the vertical position of the plateau relates linearly to the relative concentration of the two compounds that may be useful for quantification. Repeatability was estimated at 2% on a quadrupole ion trap. An advantage of using survival yield curves only, is that a priori knowledge of the respective fragmentation patterns of the two isobars becomes unnecessary. Consequently, similar performances are obtained if fragments are isobaric, which is also demonstrated in our study. The critical case of reverse peptides, at low m/z and similar fragmentation parameters, is also presented as a limitation of the method.  相似文献

The compounds (±)-cis- and (±)-trans-9-[(2-hydroxymethyl) cyclopentyl]guanine (1 and 2 respectively) were efficiently synthesized by the construction of the purine base on the primary amino group of cis- and trans-2-aminocyclopentylmethanol. The 3D structures of these two 1,2-disubstituted carbanucleosides in DMSO were determined using molecular dynamics calculations with experimental NMR restraints on the basis of the information obtained from a ROESY spectrum. These structures were compared with those obtained in vacuo using molecular dynamics and AM1 semiempirical calculations. The global structures of the two compounds are very similar in the two environments studied, meaning that the structural determination in the gas phase can be extrapolated to molecular simulation studies in solution for compounds of this type.  相似文献

The title compound, [AuCl(C18H21P)], a monomeric two‐coordinate gold(I) complex, has been characterized at 100 K as two distinct monoclinic polymorphs, one from a single crystal, (Is), and one from a pseudo‐merohedrally twinned crystal, (It). The molecular structures in the two monoclinic [P21/n for (Is) and P21/c for (It)] polymorphs are similar; however, the packing arrangements in the two lattices differ considerably. The structure of (It) is pseudo‐merohedrally twinned by a twofold rotation about the a* axis.  相似文献

Targeted synthesis of kagome ( kgm ) topologic 2D covalent organic frameworks remains challenging, presumably due to the severe dependence on building units and synthetic conditions. Herein, two isomeric “two-in-one” monomers with different lengths of substituted arms based on naphthalene core (p-Naph and m-Naph) are elaborately designed and utilized for the defined synthesis of isomeric kgm Naph-COFs. The two isomeric frameworks exhibit splendid crystallinity and showcase the same chemical composition and topologic structure with, however, different pore channels. Interestingly, C60 is able to uniformly be encapsulated into the triangle channels of m-Naph-COF via in situ incorporation method, while not the isomeric p-Naph-COF, likely due to the different pore structures of the two isomeric COFs. The resulting stable C60@m-Naph-COF composite exhibits much higher photoconductivity than the m-Naph-COF owing to charge transfer between the conjugated skeletons and C60 guests.  相似文献

The monolayer properties of poly(n-stearyl methacrylate), poly(n-lauryl methacrylate), and their mixtures at various ratios of the two polymers have been studied from the measurements of their surface pressure–area isotherms at air–water interface. The monolayer properties of their mixtures have been compared with those of their corresponding copolymers. The results show that the isotherms of the mixed monolayers have two break points at higher pressures than that of poly(n-lauryl methacrylate). This suggests that the mixtures may form more stable films that consist of separate phases of the two homopolymers, although each phase may contain a small amount of the other. The isotherms of the copolymer monolayers indicate a phase transition from liquid condensed to solid film between 50 segment mole % and 70% poly(n-stearyl methacrylate). The monclayer of these copolymers has properties that differ from those of the corresponding mixtures of two pure homopolymers and is more compatible than the mixtures of pure homopolymers.  相似文献

This work deals with the formation of inclusion complexes between cinnamaldehyde and two synthetic alkylcarbonates of γ-cyclodextrin, namely ethylcarbonate-γ-CD and octylcarbonate-γ-CD. Complexation was monitored by phase-solubility studies, by FT-IR spectroscopy and by DSC and TG analysis. The diffusion of cinnamaldehyde through a cellulose membrane was investigated in the absence and in the presence of each of the two γ-CD alkylcarbonates. Studies on photostability and stability over time were carried out on different cosmetic formulations containing pure cinnamaldehyde or an equivalent amount of cinnamaldehyde complexed with the two alkylcarbonates. Phase-solubility diagrams, DSC, FTIR and TGA analysis suggested the formation of inclusion complexes. The diffusion of cinnamaldehyde through the cellulose membrane decreased in the presence of the two alkylcarbonates confirming the interaction of this molecule with the inclusion agents. Moreover the stability of cinnamaldehyde to light and heat resulted increased by complexing this fragrance material with the two alkylcarbonates.  相似文献

Several reported procedures for calibrating glass electrodes in proton concentration are compared. Some recommendations for non-experts are also given. The examined procedures can be classified into two broad categories, namely: those based on direct potential difference measurements of solutions of known proton concentration and those that use one or several pH standards to calibrate the electrode and subsequently measure the pH of solutions containing known proton concentrations. With a single buffer, the two types of procedures lead to equivalent results. However, if two pH buffers are used, the slope of the calibration graph in proton concentration will differ from the real electrode slope to an extent proportional to the difference between the liquid junction potentials of the two buffers. Therefore, any other method is preferable under these circumstances.  相似文献
