Hydrazine complexes [MCl(η6-p-cymene)(RNHNH2)L]BPh4 (16) [M = Ru, Os; R = H, Me, Ph; L = P(OEt)3, PPh(OEt)2, PPh2OEt] were prepared by allowing dichloro complexes MCl26-p-cymene)L to react with hydrazines RNHNH2 in the presence of NaBPh4. Treatment of ruthenium complexes [RuCl(η6-p-cymene)(RNHNH2)L]BPh4 with Pb(OAc)4 led to acetate complex [Ru(κ2–O2CCH3)(η6-p-cymene)L]BPh4 (7). Instead, the reaction of osmium derivatives [OsCl(η6-p-cymene)(CH3NHNH2)L]BPh4 with Pb(OAc)4 afforded the methyldiazenido complex [Os(CH3N2)(η6-p-cymene)L}]BPh4 (8). Treatment with HCl of this diazenido complex 8 led to the methyldiazene cation [OsCl(CH3NNH)(η6-p-cymene)L}]+ (9+). The complexes were characterised spectroscopically and by X-ray crystal structure determination of [OsCl(η6-p-cymene)(PhNHNH2){PPh(OEt)2}]BPh4 (6b) and [Ru(κ2–O2CCH3)(η6-p-cymene){PPh(OEt)2}]BPh4 (7b).  相似文献

The complexes [(C6H6)RuCl2(Hmtp)] and [(C6H6)RuCl2(C4H4N2)] have been prepared and studied by IR, 1H NMR, UV–VIS spectroscopy and X-ray crystallography. The complexes were prepared by reactions of [(C6H6)RuCl2]2 with 7-hydroxy-5-methyl[1,2,4]triazolo[1,5-a]pyrimidine (Hmtp) and pyrimidine, respectively, in methanol. The electronic structures and UV–Vis spectra of the complexes have been calculated using the TD–DFT method.  相似文献

The reaction of the phosphine functionalised titanium half-sandwich complexes 7, 9 and 10 with the binuclear complex [(p-cymene)RuCl2]2 allowed the access to three new early-late bimetallic complexes (p-cymene)[(μ-η51-C5H4(CH2)nPR2)TiX3]RuCl2 (11-13). The structure of 11 (n = 0, X = Cl) has been confirmed by X-ray diffraction. The ruthenium titanium half-sandwich bimetallic complexes so formed and the ruthenium titanocene analogues 4-6 catalyse the addition of ethyl diazoacetate to styrene with high selectivity toward cyclopropanation versus metathesis contrary to the monometallic complexes (p-cymene)RuCl2PR3.  相似文献

The synthesis of half-sandwich transition-metal complexes containing the Cab(N) and Cab(N,S) chelate ligands (HCab(N) = HC2B10H10CH2C5H4N (1), LiCab(N,S) = LiSC2B10H10CH2C5H4N (4)) is described. Compounds 1 and 4 were treated with chloride-bridged dimers [{Ir(Cp*)Cl2}2] (Cp* = eta5-C5Me5), [{Ru(p-cymene)Cl2}2] and [{Rh(Cp*)Cl2}2] to give half-sandwich complexes [Ir(Cp*)Cl(Cab(N))] (2), [Ru(p-cymene)Cl(Cab(N))] (3), and [Rh(Cp*)Cl(Cab(N,S))] (5), respectively. Addition reaction of LiCab(S) (Cab(S) = SC2(H)B10H10) to the rhodium complex 5 yields [Rh(Cp*)(Cab(S))(Cab(N,S))] (6). All the complexes were characterized by IR and NMR spectroscopy, and by elemental analysis. In addition, X-ray structure analyses were performed on complexes 2, 3, 5, and 6, in which the potential C,N- and N,S-chelate ligands were found to coordinate in a bidentate mode. The carborane complex 2 shows catalytic activities up to 3.7x10(5) g PE mol(-1) Ir h(-1) for the polymerization of ethylene in the presence of methylaluminoxane (MAO) as cocatalyst. The polymer obtained from this homogeneous catalytic reaction has a spherical morphology. Catalytic activities and the molecular weight of polyethylene have been investigated for various reaction conditions.  相似文献

Three half-sandwich ruthenium complexes [Ru(p-cymene)LCl] containing salicylbenzoxazole ligands [LH = 2-(5-methyl-benzoxazol-2-yl)-4-methyl-phenol (2a), LH = 2-(5-methyl-benzoxazol-2-yl)-4-chloro-phenol (2b), and LH = 2-(5-methyl-benzoxazol-2-yl)-4-bromo-phenol (2c)] were synthesized and characterized. All half-sandwich ruthenium complexes were fully characterized by 1H and 13C NMR spectra, MS, elemental analyses, and UV–vis as well as cyclic voltammetry (CV). The molecular structures of 2a, 2b, and 2c were confirmed by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Single-crystal X-ray structures show that the synthesized ruthenium complexes are three-legged piano-stools with a six-membered metallocycle formed by coordination of the bidentate salicylbenzoxazole ligands to the metal centers. Data from CV and UV–vis absorption of the ruthenium complexes indicated that by changing the substituent on the para position of (donating or withdraw group) the salicylbenzoxazole ligands, minor changes in redox and electronic properties of the ruthenium complexes were observed.  相似文献

In the literature most of the dehydrogenation reactions of alkanes are described as CH activation reactions of cyclooctane. The best results of CH activation reactions have been found for the reaction of MAO activated metallocene complexes and cyclooctane at temperatures over 300 °C.The application of ansa amido functionalized half sandwich compounds of the type Ind′Si(Me)2NtBuMCl2 (Ind′= monosubstituted indenyl); M = Ti, Zr, Hf) for CH and CC activation reactions is completely unknown in the literature. In contrast to the dehydrogenation reactions of cyclooctane and the metallocene complexes of the group 4 metals, where the zirconocene complexes give higher TONs than the titanocene complexes the ansa amido functionalized titanium complexes give more than two times higher TONs than the corresponding Zr or Hf complexes. The ansa amido functionalized ligand increases the TONs for the Ti complexes and decreases the TONs of the Zr complexes. In contrast to the metallocene complexes, the ansa amido functionalized dichloride complexes of Ti show also a higher activity than the corresponding Zr complexes. It is known that the photolysis of organometallic titanium, zirconium and hafnium (IV) compounds can give M(III) radicals. The formation of the active Ti metal centre is easier than in the case of the corresponding Zr and Hf metal compounds.  相似文献

The synthesis of half-sandwich transition metal complexes containing both 1,2-dichalcogenolato-1,2-dicarba-closo-docecaborane (Cab(E,E)) [Cab(E,E)=E(2)C(2)(B(10)H(10)); E = S, Se] and N-heterocyclic carbene (NHC) ligands is described. Addition of mono-NHC ligand to the 16e half-sandwich dichalcogenolato carborane complexes [Cp*Rh(Cab(E,E))], [Cp*Ir(Cab(S,S))], [(p-cymene)Ru(Cab(S,S))] (Cp* = pentamethylcyclopentadienyl) gives corresponding mononuclear 18e dithiolate complexes of the type [LM(Cab(E,E))(NHC)]: [Cp*M(Cab(S,S))(1-ethenyl-3-methylimidazolin-2-ylidene)] (M = Ir (2), Rh (3)), [Cp*Rh(Cab(E,E))(3-methyl-1-picolyimidazolin-2-ylidene)] [E = S (6), Se (7)], [(p-cymene)Ru(Cab(S,S))(NHC)] [NHC = 1-ethenyl-3-methylimidazolin-2-ylidene (4), 3-methyl-1-picolyimidazolin-2-ylidene (8)], whereas bis-NHC give centrosymmetric binuclear complexes [{Cp*M(Cab(S,S))}(2)(1,1'-dimethyl-3,3'-methylene(imidazolin-2-ylidene))] [M = Rh (10), Ir (11)]. The complexes were characterized by IR, NMR spectroscopy and elemental analysis. In addition, X-ray structure analyses were performed on complexes 2-4, 6, 8, 10 and 11.  相似文献

C? H activation by acetate‐assisted cyclometallation of a phenyl group with half‐sandwich complexes [{MCl2Cp*}2] (M=Ir, Rh) and [{RuCl2(p‐cymene)}2] can be directed by a wide range of nitrogen donor ligands including pyrazole, oxazoline, oxime, imidazole and triazole, and X‐ray structures of a number of complexes are reported. All the ligands tested cyclometallated at iridium, however ruthenium and rhodium fail to cause cyclometallation in some cases. As a result, the nitrogen donors have been categorised based on their reactivity with the three metals used. The relevance of these cyclometallation reactions to catalytic synthesis of carbocycles and heterocycles is discussed.  相似文献

Four ruthenium(II) p-cymene complexes with naphthalene-based Schiff base ligands [Ru(p-cymene)LCl] (2a2d) have been synthesized and characterized. The half-sandwich ruthenium complexes were characterized by 1H and 13C NMR spectra, elemental analyses, and infrared spectrometry. The molecular structures of 2a, 2b, and 2c were confirmed by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Furthermore, these half-sandwich ruthenium complexes are highly active catalysts for the hydrogenation of nitroarenes to anilines using NaBH4 as the reducing agent in ethanol at room temperature.  相似文献

Treatment of the chiral tripod ligand (LMent,SC)-CpH(PNMent) with (Ph3P)3RuCl2 in ethanol afforded the two chiral-at-metal diastereomers (LMent,SC,RRu)- and (LMent,SC,SRu)-[Cp(PNMent)Ru(PPh3)Cl] (70% de) in which the cyclopentadienyl group and the P atom of the ligand coordinated at the metal center. The (LMent,SC,RRu)-diastereomer was isolated by crystallization from ethanol-pentane and its structure was established by X-ray crystallography. The (LMent,SC,RRu)-diastereomer epimerized in CDCl3 solution at 60 °C in a first-order reaction with a half-life of 5.66 h. In alcoholic solution epimerization occurred at room temperature. Substitution of the chloride ligand in (LMent,SC,RRu)- and (LMent,SC,SRu)-[Cp(PNMent)Ru(PPh3)Cl] by nitriles NCR (R = Me, Ph, CH2Ph) in the presence of NH4PF6 gave mixtures of the diastereomers (LMent,SC,RRu)- and (LMent,SC,SRu)-[Cp(PNMent)Ru(PPh3)NCR]PF6. Treatment of (LMent,SC,RRu)- and (LMent,SC,SRu)-[Cp(PNMent)Ru(PPh3)Cl] with piperidine or morpholine in the presence of NH4PF6 led to the chiral-at-metal diastereomers (LMent,SC,RRu)- and (LMent,SC,SRu)-[Cp(PNMent)Ru(PPh3)NH3]PF6 (6% de).  相似文献

Reactions of Schiff bases (H2apahR) derived from acetophenone and acid hydrazides, triethylamine and [Ru(PPh3)3Cl2] (1:2:1 mole ratio) in methanol provide cyclometallated ruthenium(III) complexes of formula trans-[Ru(apahR)(PPh3)2Cl] in 74–81% yields. The complexes have been characterized by elemental analysis, magnetic susceptibility, spectroscopic (infrared, electronic and EPR) and electrochemical measurements. X-ray crystal structures of two representative complexes have been determined. In each complex, the metal centre is in distorted octahedral CNOClP2 coordination sphere assembled by the C,N,O-donor meridionally spanning apahR2?, the chloride and the two mutually trans-oriented PPh3 molecules. All the complexes are one-electron paramagnetic (μeff. = 1.85–1.98 μB) and display rhombic EPR spectra in frozen (120 K) dichloromethane-toluene (1:1) solution. Electronic spectra of the complexes display several absorptions within 470–270 nm due to ligand-to-metal charge transfer and ligand centred transitions. The complexes are redox active and display a Ru(III)  Ru(II) reduction and a Ru(III)  Ru(IV) oxidation in the potential ranges ?0.66 to ?0.70 V and 0.75 to 0.80 V (vs. Ag/AgCl), respectively.  相似文献

A series of new arene ruthenium(II) complexes were prepared by reaction of ruthenium(II) precursors of the general formula [(η6-arene)Ru(μ-Cl)Cl]2 with N,N′-bidentate pyridyl-imine ligands to form complexes of the type [(η6-arene)RuCl(C5H4N-2-CH=N-R)]PF6, with arene = C6H6, R = iso-propyl (1a), tert-butyl (1b), cyclohexyl (1c), cyclopentyl (1d) and n-butyl (1e); arene = p-cymene, R = iso-propyl (2a), tert-butyl (2b). The complexes were fully characterized by 1H NMR and 13C NMR, UV–Vis and IR spectroscopies, elemental analyses, and the single-crystal X-ray structures of 2a and 2b have been determined. The single-crystal molecular structure revealed both compounds with a pseudo-octahedral geometry around the Ru(II) center, normally referred to as a piano stool conformation, with the pyridyl-imine as a bidentate N,N ligand. The activity of all complexes in the transfer hydrogenation of cyclohexanone in the presence of NaOH and iso-propanol is reported, the compounds showing turnover numbers of close to 1990 and high conversions. Complex 2b was also shown to be very effective for a range of aliphatic and cyclic ketones, giving conversions of up to 100 %.  相似文献

We report a synthetic route to ansa pyrrole amino acids via olefin ring-closing metathesis of diene precursors in the presence of Grubbs I catalyst. The dienes were prepared by Grignard addition to pyrrole sulfinyl imines. The success of the macrocyclic ring closure depends on the dienes structure and only in the case of the 13-membered compound 28 sufficient material could be isolated by preparative HPLC separation to investigate its structure spectroscopically. As also rationalized by our computations at the B3LYP/6-311+G(d,p)//B3LYP/6-31G(d) level of theory, 28 is configurationally stable.  相似文献

The cyclopentadienyl ruthenium complexes CpRuL2SCO-het (Cp = η5-C5H5; L2 = 2PPh3 (1), dppe (2)) bearing heterocyclic thiocarboxylate ligands have been synthesized from the reaction of CpRuL2SH with heterocyclic acid chlorides (ClCO-2-C4H3S (a); ClCO-2-C4H3O (b); ClCO-1-C4H8N (c)). Bubbling of CO gas through a THF solution of (1) produced the mixed carbonyl–phosphine complexes CpRu(PPh3)(CO)SCO-het (3) with high yields. Complexes (1)-(3) were characterized by spectroscopic methods (i.r., 1H-n.m.r., 31P-n.m.r.) and elemental analysis. The molecular structure of CpRu(PPh3)2SCO-2-C4H3S (1a) verifies that the thiocarboxylate ligands bind via the sulfur atom (Ru–S = 2.406(2) Å).  相似文献

[Ru(bipy)2(5-R-phen)](ClO4)2 complexes have been prepared, where bipy=2,2- bipyridine, phen=1,10-phenanthroline, and R=H, Me, NO2 or NH2. The influence of the different 5- substituted phen on the electron delocalization and ligand-ligand interactions have been investigated by solution n.m.r.. The ligand- ligand interaction has also been observed in the solid state by determining the single crystal structure of [Ru(bipy)2(5- NO2-phen)](ClO4)2. The strong steric interaction between the polypyridyl ligands was relieved neither by the elongation of Ru–N bonds (2.055–2.086Å) nor by increase of N–Ru–N bite angles (77.8–79.4°), but rather by distortion of the coordination sphere by forming specific angles (=2.0, 3.2 and 4.2°) between the polypyridyl ligand planes and coordination planes (N–Ru–N), and larger torsion angles (5.8 and 8.2°) between the two pyridine rings for each bipy.  相似文献

This review describes how the incorporation of dicarba-closo-dodecarboranes into half-sandwich complexes of ruthenium, osmium, rhodium and iridium might lead to the development of a new class of compounds with applications in medicine. Such a combination not only has unexplored potential in traditional areas such as Boron Neutron Capture Therapy agents, but also as pharmacophores for the targeting of biologically important proteins and the development of targeted drugs. The synthetic pathways used for the syntheses of dicarba-closo-dodecarboranes-containing half-sandwich complexes of ruthenium, osmium, rhodium and iridium are also reviewed. Complexes with a wide variety of geometries and characteristics can be prepared. Examples of addition reactions on the metal centre, B-H activation, transmetalation reactions and/or direct formation of metal-metal bonds are discussed (103 references).  相似文献

A series of novel half-sandwich M(I) and M(III) complexes (M = Co, Rh) bearing the N-heterocyclic carbene ligand 1,3-dimesitylimidazol-2-ylidene (IMes) have been prepared and characterized. Thus, (eta5-C(5)R(5))M(IMes)(C(2)H(4))(M = Co, Rh; R = H, Me) were obtained from the corresponding bis(ethene) complexes (eta5-C(5)R(5))M(C(2)H(4))(2), except for CpRh(IMes)(C(2)H(4)) which was prepared via the novel 16-electron Rh(I) compound Rh(IMes)(C(2)H(4))(2)Cl. The carbonyl compounds (eta5-C(5)R(5))Co(IMes)(CO)(R = H, Me) were synthesized by thermal CO substitution of (eta5-C(5)R(5))Co(CO)(2). A diamagnetic, apparently 16-electron Co(III) compound [CpCo(IMes)I](+)[I(3)(-)] was obtained from CpCo(IMes)(CO) and I(2). Finally, Co(III) and Rh(III) complexes CpCo(IMes)Me(2) and Cp*Rh(IMes)Me(2) were prepared by methylation of [CpCo(IMes)I](+)[I(3)(-)], and ligand exchange at Cp*Rh(Me(2)SO)Me(2), respectively. The molecular structures of CpCo(IMes)(CO), CpRh(IMes)(C(2)H(4)), Cp*Rh(IMes)(C(2)H(4)), and Cp*Rh(IMes)Me(2) were determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction. Steric and electronic factors imposed by the strongly donating and sterically demanding IMes ligand are discussed on the basis of X-ray crystallographic, NMR, and IR spectroscopic analyses. Very poor correlations are found between values for (1)J(Rh-C(carbene)) and dRh-C(carbene) data for Rh(i) N,N-heterocyclic carbene complexes including literature data and this work.  相似文献

This review provides an overview of the synthetic pathways, structures, and reactivity of various nickel(IV) complexes. The complexes are classified according to the various ligand types including sulfur, oxygen, nitrogen, and phosphorus donors. The main emphasis is on different ligand systems which stabilize Ni in higher oxidation state in the solid state and solution. The structural aspects of the complexes are briefly discussed. The possible applications of these nickel(IV) complexes are reviewed and future prospects are also highlighted.  相似文献
