A mathematical model for the propagation of longwave perturbations in a freeboundary shear flow of an ideal stratified twolayer fluid is considered. The characteristic equation defining the velocity of perturbation propagation in the fluid is obtained and studied. The necessary hyperbolicity conditions for the equations of motion are formulated for flows with a monotonic velocity profile over depth, and the characteristic form of the system is calculated. It is shown that the problem of deriving the sufficient hyperbolicity conditions is equivalent to solving a system of singular integral equations. The limiting cases of weak and strong stratification are studied. For these models, the necessary and sufficient hyperbolicity conditions are formulated, and the equations of motion are reduced to the Riemann integral invariants conserved along the characteristics.  相似文献

A comprehensive experimental investigation of the transition from the free to the non-free regime of interaction between a plane shock and a boundary layer in a conical flow and the non-free interaction properties has been carried out. Synchronization of oscillations of thin elastic plates that are walls of a gasfilled channel is considered. The gas motion is described by a system of Navier–Stokes equations, which is solved using the secondorder MacCormack method with time splitting. The motion of the channel walls is described by a system of geometrically nonlinear dynamic equations of the theory of this plates, which is solved by the finitedifference method. Kinematic and dynamic contact conditions are imposed at the interface between the media. A numerical experiment is performed to determine typical dynamic regimes and study the transition of the aeroelastic system to inphase oscillations.  相似文献

This paper considers the problem of the stability in the small of the steadystate spinning of a rotor with a cylindrical cavity partly filled with a viscous, incompressible, conducting liquid in a magnetic field. The responses of the buttend boundary layers and the resultant force exerted by the liquid on the rotor performing circular precession of small radius are determined. The plane of the viscoelastic restraint parameters of the rotor axis was Dpartitioned into regions with different degrees of instability is constructed. Steadystate spinning near the boundary of the region of stability in the space of parameters is studied assuming nonlinear responses of the supports. It is shown that passage through the boundary of the region of stability leads to bifurcation of the steadystate spinning regime, resulting in periodic motion of the type of circular precession. The origin ofperiodic motion from steadystate spinning can be subcritical or supercritical.  相似文献

Stability of a hypersonic flow in the regions of laminar separation of the boundary layer on a cone–flare model is experimentally studied for a Mach number M = 5.92. Development of natural disturbances and artificial wave packets in the boundary layer and separation region is examined. It is shown that highfrequency disturbances are predominantly amplified in the separation region; the most unstable waves are those propagating with an angle close to 60° to the freestream direction. It is found that separation and reattachment lines are generators of twodimensional disturbances.  相似文献

The one-dimensional dynamic problem of the theory of large elastic–plastic deformations is considered for the interaction of an unloading wave with an elastic–plastic boundary. It is shown that before the occurrence of the unloading wave, the increasing pressure gradient leads to quasistatic deformation of the elasti©viscoplastic material filling the round tube, which is retained in the tube due to friction on its wall, resulting in the formation of near-wall viscoplastic flow and an elastic core. The unloading wave is initiated at the moment of the onset of slippage of the material along the inner wall of the tube. Calculations were conducted using the ray method of constructing approximate solutions behind strong discontinuity surfaces, and ray expansions of the solutions behind the cylindrical surfaces of discontinuities were obtained.  相似文献

The effect of the fluctuating components of kinetic energy and stress tensor of the carrier phase, which were previously obtained by the cell technique, on the properties of the system of equations of a gas–liquid flow with incompressible phases is considered. It is shown that the characteristic properties of this system and also the possibility of modeling the Zuber–Findlay empirical relation are determined by the tensor of fluctuating stresses of the carrier phase.  相似文献

The products of laser cutting of metals on an automated laser setup are investigated. Results of model experiments are presented, where soft wax was used instead of metal transforming into the melt; soft wax filled a narrow flat slot between two glass plates and was removed by a heated air stream. The physical processes of melting of the liquidwax film, its destruction, and entrainment by the gas jet being assumed to be analogous to the processes of metalmelt spraying inside the cut in fullscale experiments, the characteristic size of drops formed thereby is evaluated. The modeling results are in qualitative agreement with the results of fullscale experiments. It is shown that the quality of laser cutting of metals directly depends on the character of spraying of the liquid melt and the process of its removal.  相似文献

Discharge of a twophase jet from a cylindrical channel into a bounded layer of a disperse medium is numerically simulated using the equations of the mechanics of heterogeneous media with allowance for the differences in velocity, temperature, and phase stresses. The effect of separation of the gas phase from the disperse phase in the layer is revealed and verified experimentally. A comparison with a similar process of gas discharge at equal initial pressures shows that in the interaction with the disperse layer, the twophase flow has a longer momentum and direction.  相似文献

The problem of the linear stability of steadystate axisymmetric shear jet flows of a perfectly conducting inviscid incompressible fluid with a free surface in an azimuthal magnetic field is studied. The necessary and sufficient condition for the stability of these flows against small axisymmetric longwave perturbations of special form is obtained by the direct Lyapunov method. It is shown that if this stability condition is not satisfied, the steadystate flows considered are unstable to arbitrary small axisymmetric longwave perturbations. A priori exponential estimates are obtained for the growth of small perturbations. Examples are given of the steadystate flows and small perturbations imposed on them which evolve in time according to the estimates obtained.  相似文献

The effect of dynamic prehistory of the flow and the channelexpansion ratio on aerodynamics of a steady separated laminar flow behind a rectangular backwardfacing step located in a planeparallel channel is numerically studied. It is shown that the boundary layer upstream of the flow separation exerts a strong effect on flow characteristics behind the step. A decrease in the boundarylayer thickness in the cross section of the step leads to a decrease in the separationregion length, and an increase in the channelexpansion ratio with a fixed initial boundarylayer thickness and Reynolds number leads to an increase in the separationregion length.  相似文献

A conjugation problem for radiative–convective heat transfer in a turbulent flow of a high–temperature gas—particle medium around a thermally thin plate is considered. The plate experiences intense heating from an outside source that emits radiation in a restricted spectral range. Unsteady temperature fields and heat–flux distributions along the plate are calculated. The results permit prediction of the effect of the type and concentration of particles on the dynamics of the thermal state of both the medium in the boundary layer and the plate itself under conditions of its outside heating by a high–temperature source of radiation.  相似文献

A nonlinear problem of motion of a solid sphere near a free surface of an infinitely deep fluid is considered. For the case of motion with a constant acceleration starting from rest, the solution is studied using a smalltime expansion. Expansion coefficients up to the fourth power inclusive are found for the free surface elevation and for the force acting on the sphere. The solutions for linear and nonlinear conditions on the free surface are compared.  相似文献

New asymptotic approaches for dynamical systems containing a power nonlinear term x n are proposed and analyzed. Two natural limiting cases are studied: n 1 + , 1 and n . In the firstcase, the 'small method' (SM)is used and its applicability for dynamical problems with the nonlinearterm sin as well as the usefulness of the SMfor the problem with small denominators are outlined. For n , a new asymptotic approach is proposed(conditionally we call it the 'large method' –LM). Error estimations lead to the followingconclusion: the LM may be used, even for smalln, whereas the SM has a narrow application area. Based on the laws of conservation of mass, momentum, and energy, equations of dynamics of multiphase systems, which are gas mixtures with hollow microspheres with selectively permeable shells, are obtained under the assumption of quasisteadiness of the process offilling the microspheres by the gas. Acoustic characteristics of the system composed of a uniform gas and hollow permeable microspheres are studied using a simplified (onevelocity and onetemperature) model. The frequency dependences of velocity and damping coefficient of sound are determined with regard for gas density (pressure) relaxation inside the microspheres.  相似文献

This paper presents experimental and theoretical methods to study the damage layer evolution of a breakwater made with concrete hollow squares in marine environment.Wetting time was directly related to the performance degradation of the breakwater by observation.The thickness of damage layer was detected by means of ultrasonic testing.Meanwhile,some samples drilled from concrete hollow squares were analyzed by SEM and XRD in order to illustrate the damage mechanism.Subsequently,a theoretical model containing wetting time ratio was established to simulate the damage layer evolution based on Fick’s second law,which could be suggested to predict the service life of concrete structures in marine environment.  相似文献
