Abstract  Two new Keggin-polyoxometalate hybrids, {[Cu2(4,4′-bpy)2][PW10VIW2VO40]}[Cu2(obpy)2]4 · 2 H2O (1) and {[Cu4(2,2′-bpy)4(4,4′-bpy)3][SiW12O40]} · 2H2O (2) (4,4′-/2,2′-bpy = 4,4′-/2,2′-bipyridyl, Hobpy = 6-hydroxy-2,2′-bipyridyl), were hydrothermally synthesized and structurally characterized. Gillard type hydration of 2,2′-bipy is observed during the synthesis of 1, resulting in a new obpy ligand in situ. X-ray structural analyses show that 1 consists of 1D hybrid chain {[Cu2(4,4′-bpy)2][PW10VIW2VO40]} and [Cu2(obpy)2] dimer, whereas 2 possesses 1D hybrid structure based on Keggin-type [SiW12O40]4− anions and tetra-nuclear copper complexes [Cu4(2,2′-bpy)4(4,4′-bpy)3]4+. Both compounds present interesting supramolecular architectures based on π–π stacking and hydrogen bonds. Four novel organic–inorganic hybrid compounds [Cu5 I(4,4′-bpy)3(2,2′-bpy)4][BW12O40] · H2O (1), [Ni0.5(2,2′-bpy)1.25][Ni(2,2′-bpy)3][Ni(2,2′-bpy)2(H2O)(SiW11VIWVO40)] · 0.5H2O (2), [H2bpy]2[Zn(2,2′-bpy)3]2[Si2W18O62] · 1.5H2O (3) and [CuII(2,2′-bpy)2]2[SiW12O40] · 2H2O (4) (2,2′-bpy = 2,2′-bipyridine, 4,4′-bpy = 4,4′-bipyridine) have been synthesized under hydrothermal conditions and characterized by elemental analysis, IR spectroscopy, thermal gravimetric analysis, electrochemical measurements and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Compound (1) is a novel [BW12O40]5− polyoxoanion bisupported by copper(I) coordination cations with mixed 2,2′-bpy and 4,4′-bpy ligands. Compound (2) is constructed from the [SiW11VIWVO40]5− polyoxoanions supported by [Ni(2,2′–bpy)2]2+. Compound (3) is composed of a novel [Si2W18O62]8− cluster and [Zn(2,2′–bpy)3]2+ complexes, which held together into a three-dimensional (3D) supramolecular network through hydrogen-bonding interactions. Compound (4) shows a 2D layer framework constructed from a bisupporting Keggin polyoxoanion cluster and [Cu(2,2′–bpy)2]2+ coordination polymer fragments, resulting in 3D networks via supramolecular interactions. Blue [{Cu(2,2′-bipy)2}2{α-SiW12O40}] (bipy = bipyridyl) (1) and pale yellow [Mn(2,2′-bipy)3]2[α-SiW12O40] (2) have been synthesized hydrothermally and characterized by IR spectroscopy and single crystal X-ray structure analysis. In 1, the [α-SiW12O40]4− ion acts as a bridge between the two [{Cu(2,2′-bipy)2]2+ moieties via coordination through the terminal oxygen atoms, while in 2, the [Mn(2,2′-bipy)3]2+ ion balances the charge on the polyoxo anion without forming any covalent bond. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first example of transition metal-mediated transformation of [α-SiW9O34]10− to [α-SiW12O40]4−. Two Keggin-type phosphododecamolybdate compounds [Cd(2,2′-bpy)3]2[PMoVMoVI 11O40] (1) and [H3PMo12O40]·3(4,4′-bpy)·4H2O (2) (bpy=bipyridine) were prepared by the hydrothermal method for the first time and characterized by elemental analyses, X-ray single-crystal diffraction, ESR spectra, and IR spectra, showing that compound 1 consists of a mixed valence Keggin polyanion [PMoVMoVI 11O40]4− and two isolated coordinated cations [Cd(2,2′-bpy)3]2+, while compound 2 is an intermolecular compound based on organic substrate 4,4′-bpy and heteropoly acid unit H3PMo12O40. Furthermore, both the compounds show strong photoluminescence properties in the solid state at room temperature. The catalytic activities of the two compounds were also determined by the oxidation of benzaldehyde to benzoic acid using H2O2 as oxidant in a liquid–solid triphase system.  相似文献

Two new inorganic–organic hybrid compounds, namely [Cu(dab)2]2[α-SiW12O40]·H2O (dab = 1,2-diaminobenzene) and [Cu(dafo)3]2[Cu(dafo)2(H2O)2][α-PMo12O40]2·4H2O (dafo = 4,5-diaza- fluorene-9-one) have been synthesized under hydrothermal conditions and structurally characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. [Cu(dab)2]2[α-SiW12O40]·H2O exhibits an alternating 2D ladder-like structure built of [α-SiW12O40]4− and [Cu(L)2]2+ units. As the inorganic building block, the Keggin-type polyoxoanion [α-SiW12O40]4− is linked to two metal–organic complexes [Cu(dab)2]2+ through different kinds of oxygen atoms (terminal and bridging). [Cu(dafo)3]2[Cu(dafo)2(H2O)2][α-PMo12O40]2·4H2O shows an extended 3D supramolecular network via hydrogen bonding. Both complexes were characterized by physico-chemical and spectroscopic methods.  相似文献

Two new hybrid compounds, [Co(4,4′-bpy)2(H2O)4][(4,4′-bpyH2]2[CoW12O40]·8H2O (1) and [Fe(2,2′-bpy)3]3[H2W12O40]·6H2O (2), (4,4′-bpy = 4,4′-bipyridine, 2,2′-bpy = 2,2′-bipyridine) have been hydrothermally synthesized. These solids were characterized by elemental analysis, thermogravimetric analysis, UV–Vis spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction. The hydrogen-bonding interactions in 1 lead to the formation of a three dimensional network consisting of [CoW12O40]6− anionic clusters, [Co(4,4′-bpy)2(H2O)4]2+ cations and lattice water molecules, while the discrete Keggin ion [H2W12O40]6− in compound 2 is surrounded by 14 [Fe(2,2′-bpy)3]2+ complexes through CH?O interactions (2.24–2.56 Å).  相似文献

In this article, two compounds [H2bpy][Ln(DMF)4(H2O)3(Hbpy)][H2W12O40] (Ln = La,Ce; DMF = N,N-dimethylformamide, bpy = 4,4′-bipyridine) have been synthesized and characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction, IR spectra, and TG analysis. X-Ray analysis showed that the [Ln(DMF)4(H2O)3(Hbpy)]4+ unit is supported on the α-Keggin polyoxoanion [H2W12O40]6− via the surface bridging oxygen atom. The [H2bpy][Ln(DMF)4(H2O)3(Hbpy)][H2W12O40] entity is further extended into 2D supramolecular networks with 1-D channels by hydrogen-bonding interactions, in which 4,4′-bipy ligands reside. To the best of our knowledge, these complexes represent the first examples of rare earth metal-organic complex-decorated α-metatungstate clusters. Furthermore, the electrochemical properties of these compounds have been studied via the method of bulk-modified carbon paste electrodes.  相似文献

Complexes [Pd(bt)(4,4′-bpy)OOCCH3], [Pd(bt)NO3]2(m-4,4′-bpy), [Pd(bt)(m-4,4′-bpy)]4(NO3)4 (bt is deprotonated form of 2-phenylbenzothiazole, bpy is 4,4′-bipyridyl) are prepared and characterized by 1H NMR, electron absorption and emission spectroscopy, as well as by voltammetry. The upfield shift of the signal of proton in the ortho-position to the donor carbon atom of the cyclopalladated ligand in the complexes [(Δδ = −(1.1–1.5) ppm] is assigned to the anisotropic effect of the ring current of the pyridine rings of the 4,4′-bipyridyl moiety, which are orthogonal to the coordination plane. Characteristic longwave absorption bands λ = (387±4) nm and the low-temperature phosphorescence bands λ = (512±3) nm in the complexes are assigned to the chromophore {Pd(bt)} metal complex fragment. The reduction waves in the complexes [E 1/2 = −(1.54±0.04) and E p = −(1.83±0.03) V] are assigned to the ligand-centered processes of the successive electron transfer to the π* orbitals localized predominantly on the coordinated pyridine components of the 4,4′-bipyridyl moiety.  相似文献

Two coordination polymers based on vanadium-substituted Keggin polyoxotungstophosphates as bridging ligands, {[Ni(4,4′-bipy)1.5(OH)(H2O)]2[H3PW10V2O40]}·4H2O (4,4′-bpy = 4,4′-bipyridine) 1 and {[Ni(dpa)2][Ni(dpa)(H2O)3]2[PW9V3O40]}·4H2O (dpa = 2,2′-dipyridylamine) 2, have been obtained by hydrothermal reactions and characterized by elemental analysis, IR, XRD, TGA and single-crystal X-ray Diffraction analysis. Compound 1 is a 2D layered structure built from 1D infinite zigzag {Ni2(4,4′-bipy)3(OH)2(H2O)2}n2+ chains bridged via [H3PW10V2O40]2− anions. Compound 2 exhibits a one-dimensional chain-like structure constructed from [Ni(dpa)2]2+ fragments bridged via bis-supported Keggin polyoxoanions [Ni(dpa)(H2O)3]2[PW9V3O40]2−. The two examples demonstrate that vanadium-substituted Keggin polyoxometalates have greater coordination capability.  相似文献

Two new polyoxometalate-based compounds, [{PVMo 5 VI Mo 3 V V 4 V V 2 IV O42}{CoII(H2O)(2,2′-bpy)2}2][CoII(2,2′-bpy)3]2{PVMo 7 VI MoVV 6 V O42} · 6H2O (2,2′-bpy = 2,2′-bipyridine) (1) and [{PVMo 6 VI Mo 2 V V 3 V V 3 IV O42}{CuII(2,2′-bpy)}{CuII(2,2′-bpy)2}2] · 3.5H2O (2), were hydrothermally prepared and structurally characterized by elemental analysis, IR, TG and single crystal X-ray diffraction. The structural determination result shows that compound (1) contains two types of polyoxoanions coexisting with transition metal complex counter-cations in a single phase. In the structure of compound (2), a chain-like structure forms by means of the interconnection of the disordered transition metal-complex fragments decorated on the trisupporting polyoxoanions. A new organic-inorganic hybrid polyoxometalate based on Dawson-like polyoxotungstate anion [SbW18O60]9-, formulated [Co(2,2'-bpy)3]2[Co(2,2'-bpy)2Cl][Co(2,2'-bpy)2]H2[SbW18O60]·4H2O (2,2'-bpy= 2,2(-bipyridine) has been synthesized from Sb2O3, Na2WO4, CoCl2, and 2,2'-bipyridine materials by hydrothermal method, and which was characterized by elemental analyses, IR, XPS, EPR, TG, and X-ray single crystal diffraction. Structure analysis shows that the polyoxoanion self-assembled under hydrothermal conditions consists of a Dawson-like polyoxotungstate cluster anion [SbW18O60]9- encapsulating a pyramidal {SbO3} group within the {W18} cluster cage. EPR spectra show that the high-spin octahedral CoⅡ and low-spin CoⅡ ions coexist in the title compound. Magnetic properties indicate that the compound is antiferromagnetic.  相似文献

Two new copper(II) complexes, [Cu(p-FBA)2(2,2′-bpy)]·(H2O) (1) and [Cu(p-FBA)(2,2′-bpy)2]·(p-FBA)2 (2) {p-FBA = p-fluorobenzoic acid, 2,2′-bpy = 2,2′-bipyridine} have been obtained from an identical starting mixture using temperature as the only independent variable and characterized by X-ray single crystal diffraction as well as with infrared spectroscopy, elemental analysis, and thermogravimetric analysis. The results reveal that 1 has 1D infinite chain structure formed by O–H···O hydrogen bonds, while 2 features a 0D structure. Additionally, there exist C–H···O hydrogen bonds and π–π stacking interactions in 1, forming 2D supramolecular structure. Furthermore, density functional theory (DFT) calculations of the structures, stabilities, orbital energies, composition characteristics of some frontier molecular orbitals and Mulliken charge distributions of the [Cu(p-FBA)2(2,2′-bpy)] of 1 and [Cu(p-FBA)(2,2′-bpy)2]+ cation of 2 were performed by means of Gaussian 03W package and taking B3LYP/lanl2dz basis set.  相似文献

A 3D infinitely extended structural rare earth coordination compound with a formula of K3{[Sm(H2O)7]2Na[α-SiW11O39Sm(H2O)4]2}·14H2O has been synthesized by reaction of Sm2O3, HClO4, NaOH with α-K8SiW11O39·nH2O, and characterized by IR, UV spectra, ICP, TG-DTA, cyclic voltammetry, variable-temperature magnetic susceptibility and X-ray single-crystal diffraction. X-ray single-crystal diffraction indicates that the title compound crystallizes in a triclinic lattice, Pī space group, with a = 1.2462(3) nm, b = 1.2652(3) nm, c = 1.8420(4) nm, α = 87.45(3)°, β = 79.91(3)°, γ= 82.57(3)°, Z = 1, R1 = 0.0778, wR2 = 0.1610. Structural analysis reveals that Sm3+(1) coordination cation has incorporated into the vacant site of [α-SiW11O39]8− entity, forming the [α- SiW11O39Sm(H2O)4]5− subunit. The two adjacent [α-SiW11O39Sm(H2O)4]5− subunits are combined with each other through two Sm(1)-O-W bridges accompanying the formation of dimmer structural unit [α-SiW11O39Sm(H2O)4]2 10− of the title compound. The neighboring dimmer structural units [α-SiW11O39Sm(H2O)4]2 10− are linked to form the 1D chainlike structure by means of two Sm3+(2) and a Na+(1) coordination cations. The K+(1) cations connect the 1D packing chains constructing the 2D netlike structure, and adjacent netlike layers are also grafted by K+(2) cations to build the novel 3D infinitely extended structure. The result of TG-DTA curves manifests that the decomposition temperature of the title polyanionic framework is 554°C. The cyclic voltammetry measurements show that the title polyanion has the two-step redox processes in aqueous solution with pH = 3.1. Variable temperature magnetic susceptibility indicates the title compound obeys the Cruie-Weiss Law in the higher temperature range from 110 to 300 K, while in the lower temperature range from 2 to 110 K the comparatively strong antiferromagnetism interactions can be observed.  相似文献

Two new hybrids based on Keggin polyoxometalates have been hydrothermally synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, IR spectroscopy, TG analysis, and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The crystal structure analyses reveal that complex 1 has an infinite 1D chain structure, constructed from [Cu(2,2′-bpy)(4,4′-bpy)(H2O)] fragments and [H2PMo11VO40]2? building blocks. Complex 2 has a 2D molecular ladder structure, with a basic structural unit composed of one bis(µ-OH) dicopper(II) [Cu2(OH)2(H2O)2(4,4′-bpy)3] fragment, one [HPMo12O40], and four water molecules. The [Cu2(OH)2(H2O)2(4,4′-bpy)3] units connect alternately to form edge rails. The [HPMo12O40] clusters act as rungs of the ladder, linking pairs of Cu atoms from the two adjacent edge rails. The electrochemical behavior of the complexes in modified carbon paste electrodes and their electrocatalytic reduction of nitrite were investigated.  相似文献

Four new [P4Mo6] cluster-based extended structures containing cadmium complexes, [Cd3(4,4′-Hbpy)2(4,4′-bpy)2(H2O)8][Cd(H2PO4)2(HPO4)4(PO4)2(MoO2)12(OH)6]·7H2O 1, (4,4′-Hbpy)2[Cd(4,4′-bpy)3(H2O)3][Cd(4,4′-bpy)(H2O)]2[Cd(H2PO4)2(HPO4)4 (PO4)2(MoO2)12(OH)6]·H2O 2, [Cd4(phen)2(H2O)4][Cd(phen)(H2O)]2[Cd(HPO4)4 (HPO4)4(MoO2)12(OH)6]·5H2O 3 and [Cd4(2,2′-bpy)2(H2O)4][Cd(2,2′-bpy)(H2O)]2 [Cd(HPO4)4(HPO4)4(MoO2)12(OH)6]·3H2O 4 (4,4′-bpy=4,4′-bpyridine, phen=1,10-phenanthroline, 2,2′-bpy=2,2′-bpyridine), have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, IR, TG and single crystal X-ray diffraction. The structure of compound 1 is constructed from the Cd[P4Mo6]2 dimers linked by [Cd3(4,4′-Hbpy)2(4,4′-bpy)2(H2O)8] subunits to generate a plane layer. Compound 2 consists of the positive 2D sheets that constructed from Cd[P4Mo6]2 dimers linked by [Cd(4,4′-bpy)(H2O)] complexes, then the 2D sheets are further linked up together to form a 3D supramolecular framework via extensive hydrogen-bonding interactions among the [P4Mo6] clusters, free 4,4′-bpy molecules, dissociated [Cd(4,4′-bpy)3(H2O)3]2+ complexes and water molecules. Compounds 3 and 4 show new 2D layered structure, with Cd[P4Mo6]2 building blocks connected by tetra-nuclear [Cd4{(phen)2/(2,2′-bpy)2}(H2O)4] clusters and [Cd(phen/2,2′-bpy)(H2O)] complexes. The fluorescent activities of compounds 3 and 4 are reported.  相似文献

Two substituted 2,2′-bipyridine lead(II) complexes, [Pb(5,5′-dm-2,2′-bpy)(tfac)2] n (1) (5,5′-dm-2,2′-bpy?=?5,5′-dimethyl-2,2′-bipyridine and tfac?=?trifluoroacetate) and [Pb2(4,4′-dmo-2,2′-bpy)2(ftfa)4] (2) (4,4′-dmo-2,2′-bpy?=?4,4′-dimethoxy-2,2′-bipyridine and ftfa?=?furoyltrifluoroacetonate), have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, IR, 1H NMR, and 13C NMR spectroscopies, thermal behavior, and X-ray crystallography. Complexes 1 and 2 are 1D coordination polymer and dinuclear complex, respectively. The supramolecular features in these complexes are guided by weak directional intermolecular interactions.  相似文献

Two new neutral Keggin-polyoxometalate derivatives: [{Co(2,2′-bipy)2(H2O)}2]–[PMoVI7MoV5O40(VIVO)2] (1) and [{Ni(phen)2(H2O)}2](H3O) [PMoVI10MoV2O40] · 4H2O (2) have been synthesized under hydrothermal conditions and characterized by i.r., t.g. analysis, x.p.s. spectra and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. In the case of (1), the polyoxoanion cluster [PMo12O40]8− is capped by two vanadium atoms via four bridging oxo groups on two opposite {Mo4O4} pits of the Keggin polyoxoanion. Two {Co (2,2′-bipy)2(H2O)} fragments are supported on the two vanadium atoms through two terminal oxygen atoms from two vanadium atoms. In (2), two {Ni(phen)2(H2O)}2+ moieties are linked to the molybdophosphate cluster [PMo12O40] core to form a neutral bimetallic cluster. Furthermore, through the linkages of ππ stacking interactions and hydrogen bond contacts, extended three-dimensional supramolecular networks in the solid of (1) and (2) were formed.  相似文献

A porous coordination polymer, {[Ni(Dpdo)4(H2O)2][H(H2O)6.5](PMo12O40)} n (I), where Dpdo is 4,4′-ipyridine-N,N′-hoxide, templated by polyanion chains has been synthesized through the self-assembly of Ni2+ ions and Dpdo ligands in acetonitrile-water solutions and characterized by elemental analysis, IR spectra, and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The structure of compound I constructed from the polyanion [PMo12O40]3− and the coordinated cation [Ni(Dpdo)4(H2O)2]2+ exhibits a 3D non-interwoven frameworks with large channels occupied by the poly-Keggin anion chains as guests.  相似文献

Two new arsenic–vanadium clusters, [Co(2,2- bpy)3]2[As8V14O42(H2O)] · 3H2O (1), [2,2-bpy][Ni(2,2-bpy)3]2[As8V14O42(H2O)] · 3H2O (2) (2,2-bpy=2,2-bipyridine), have been hydrothermally synthesized and characterized by IR, elemental analysis, UV–VIS, EPR, TGA, XPS, and single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. Crystal data: 1, triclinic, P1, a=14.368(3) Å, b=16.753(3) Å, c=24.632(5) Å, =94.15(3)°, =93.16(3)°, =113.05(3)°, Z=2; 2, monoclinic, P21/c, a= 30.2150(4) Å, b=14.0690(3) Å, c=26.0536(3) Å, =106.8960(10)°, Z=4. X-ray crystallographic studies showed that crystals 1 and 2 are both composed of discrete cluster anion [As8V14O42(H2O)]4– and transition metal coordination complexes [M(2,2-bpy)3]2+ (M=Co or Ni). Interestingly, compound 2 contains another neutral organic space filler of 2,2-bpy. To the best of our knowledge, compounds 1 and 2 are the first examples of structurally characterized vanadium/2,2-bpy/arsenate polyoxometallates.  相似文献
